Im new to the area so I didnt know who to call when I had a really bad coolant leak.I always go by google reviews and I found this shop who seems like they are a very reputable garage. They specialize in imports, but I took my jeep grand cherokee here, and they got me back on the road in no time flat. I feel like they were honest with me and not trying to take advantage of me. Also, they stand behind all of their work and give you a 1 year warranty. One of the best experiences Ive had at a auto shop for sure. I hope I dont have another issue to return to Autobahn, but if I do I will surely be back. I rate them 5 out of 5 stars. Thanks again!

Sent my 1990 Mercedes Benz 420 SEL in for engine work.Talked to Seth and he knows these old Mercedes very well. It was great talking to him about Mercedes vehicles.They diagnosed the problem quick and let me know what was wrong. It needed major repair due to timing chain problems. He and his team got on it and had it all back together quick. I picked up the car and she runs the best she ever has! Very prompt service for my first gen Mini Cooper. I had it towed there on a friday and was out the door monday afternoon. My only issue was the price situation. When the car was received and inspected the mechanic informed me of what was to be done as well as some preventative maintenance. After that call I never received a call with a price estimate and walked into a near $600 bill I was expecting to be maybe half of that. The labor rate was somewhere around $120/hr and for a little shop that seems somewhat excessive nearing dealer levels. The mechanical work looks great but I would’ve appreciated a call before performing a service costing 20% of the car’s value for a routine thermostat replacement, coolant flush and a few hoses.

Seth the owner always has the time to explain what was needed and looks into what will be needed. These guys are pofeasional and very trustworthy. My wife and I have been using this company for years and will continue to in the future... Thanks guys for a job well done!

Had my 20 yr old Saab 9-3 Turbo towed here after several attempts at trying to get it repaired at other shops, Seth and his team had it up and running in 3 days for a reasonable price and I couldnt be happier! I left my car there 2 weeks ago to get a sensor for ABS system changed it took them two weeks and more than $3200 dollars to fix and then I picked up the car yesterday and today before work the all the lights on the dashboard are lighting up. Long story short he did refund the part and labor So that at least eases the frustration

I had a great experience here! My 1997 Buick Century has been over heating for various reasons and I feared that my head gaskets needed to be replaced. Seth checked everything out and told me this was true. I have a very hectic schedule and need my car for work. The mechanics worked rapidly to fix it in a very short time. AWESOME!!! Fast, courteous, honest & reliable my experience with Autobahn and the owner Seth was superior from beginning to end. I brought him my 2004 Nissan Xterra to which I had several people look at it prior and put hundreds into new parts to try and figure out the problem. Seth took my car and in no time figured out what no one else was able to. I will only take my cars to Seth at Autobahn from now on!!! Nice to know honesty and reliability still exist!!!

Jim pulled my 2005 Mini Cooper into his shop in a very timely manner and checked it out free of charge. He even called a local auto parts store to check on prices and availability without me asking him to. A+, its hard to find repair shops as good as this.

OK, So my alternator went out, price checked everywhere, and autobahn had the cheapest price..... FOR A REASON! Not sure who worked on my car, but I had to come back to get my alternator changed two times. The alternator they gave me was faulty. Also, there are stains on my dash from the mechanic that worked on it. DO NOT go here if you are overcaring for your car!

Great friendly staff that are honest and give helpful advice instead of trying to make money. I got a timing belt service along with some A/C components replaced at the same time on my VW Passat. unlike other shops Autobahn did not gouge me on the A/C service because they were already half way there anyways great shop will go there from now on!!

I wish I could take my car to this place everytime but I live 6 hours away. My family and I just went there with an alternator and battery problem, our car didnt start so we searched on google and call Autobahn. They got the tow company for us, once there, we received the best customer service we could have ever received even my four year old boy had a blast 😊They were absolutely honest to us and honesty is one of those most important values that some companies dont have anymore.

Started dealing with Autobahn a little more than a year ago, and will never go anywhere else in town. I have been treated beyond fair, and the service is over the top. If you havent tried them, you should. Ask for Seth, and you cant go wrong. In fact, tell him I sent you, maybe your service will be as good as mine!

Im fairly new to Florida/Ocala area. I was driving a 1995 Toyota Avalon, Which was still in pretty decent shape for an older car with only 125,000 miles on it. But none the less it was an older car & had started giving me some issues. I called Seth of Autobahn & he accommodated me for after hours on a Friday night to check out my car to let me know what kind of issues it had. First thing he noticed when I pulled into his lot was that he smelt gas, so from there he got it up in the lift and found a host of problems. The part that most impressed me was that instead of trying to take advantage of me & charge me a lot of money to fix an older car, he explained what he could do to fix it well enough to maybe get another year or two out of it. But was honest enough to let me know that he didnt think it was worth it!!Thank you very much for your honesty!!I ended up buying a new car & feel a whole lot safer 😀

Fantastic.(2001 E55 AMG, 1994 Mazda B2300)The new owner/manager Seth is great, reasonable, and knowledgeable especially when it comes to Mercedes. I have recently acquired my AMG as a project and after meeting with Seth I am thoroughly convinced this is the place I want to take my car.As for my Mazda it was in need of a replacement motor which was retrieved at a very reasonable price and placed in my truck. Last week I drove the truck to Georgia with no problems.Autobahn gets an A+ from me.Just keep your eyes peeled as the shop is some what difficult to see from the road. Look for the sign.

Best kept secret for auto repair in Ocala! Deserves more than 5 Stars.

My truck has been in out of the dealership for a problem that never got fixed. Being on the other side of town my wife panicked when it starting acting up, but fortunately she was close to Autobahn. They easily fixed the problem, and didnt even charge my wife. If thats not honesty, dont know what is! We will be regular customers from here on out, even though its not convenient for us.

2013 Mercedes E350 BlueTec diesel. Drove 2.5 hours from home to work in Ocala last night. When I got to Ocala smoke was billowing from under the hood. Oh boy.Id just had it worked on last month at the MB dealer near my home. It had been leaking oil which was diagnosed as a problem with the turbocharger seals.Spoke to Jim McQuade, the owner, who said bring it in at 2 PMAt 2 PM on the button he took it right in. There were 3 guys looking at it up on the lift. taking things apart...then cleaning...back together and out for a test drive. In the end diagnosed with a leaking rear main seal. Suggested I try to work it out with the dealer since they started the project, but noted hed be happy to do it if things didnt work out.Not only was he candid and forthright..but said it was on the house since they didnt fix it.Competent, friendly and honest. Wow!
