A new management and they are doing a great job to improve the service quality. The cleanness of the apartments and safety wise improved drastically.The most important and big change I have seen is the transparency of solving issues of any kind with a quicker answer. Faster maintenance services.I have also experienced a welcoming environment and great staff members working on improving the community safety and cleanliness.Thank you and keep up the great job.

Had a pleasant experience with the office staff. They were very respectful and informative.Read some reviews on the company and personally disagree with what’s being said.The property sits in a nice area of town and is well kept. I’ve been satisfied with my time at Piedmont.

I been stunned with the improved services. It got much better than before regarding cleanness. I observed drastic changes in every aspect with managing team. The team do their job, awesome and efficiently. Hopefully we will enjoy the swimming pool soon when it’s open. We needed that.

Up until last year my experience living at Piedmont apartment was fine. The tenants did not have to wait 3 months for their work order to be fixed. The previous managers would give you a time frame of when they would be able to get to your work order but not this crew they don’t say a word and the office workers never know anything at all which is unbelievable that they never know anything and never return your call to let you know what is going on with your work order . So at this point I’m very disappointed at rude manager and the office staff.

Okey where do I start here is the picture this apartment how is so bad to live with disrespectful and rude mangers and the security and cleanliness of this apartment is very bad the elevator smells pee never clean as the pictures see it the garage gate all the time get broken because of this thieves stole many cars and they break Windows also they break the mail box I lost my my mails more than 10 times including my stimulus check the management they don’t care any concerns about the tenants so sad this apartment went from good to worst.

The managers here are the worst I have ever seen in my life since I started living in Piedmont apartment.Everything went from good to worst after the new management move here I don’t even feel safe to live in this apartment anymore. The security and cleanliness of this apartment is very bad .

I am tired of living here. These MANAGERS are so rude to us and its really horrible how mean and rude they are and we are the ones who live here. I should be able to trust my leasing office and want to say theirs is an amazing place but in all actuality this place is horrible and its only the people in the leasing office. I want to sue them for the way Im treated as well as other tenents here. I wish this place could be better.

The new management here are the very rude and disrespectful. They don’t listen to the concerns of the tenants. I have been living here for almost 4 years now but I never seen any manager that disrespect their tenants like these managers do. When you go to the office to talk to them about any issue you are having or ask them to fix something they would not fix it. My microwave was not working and I told them to fix it but still 3 months up to now I am still with out microwave. They would tell me they gonna come and fix it but they never do.

I have lived in this apartment for long time and have never seen a rude manager like the new one who took over last year. Theyre rude and disrespectful to non-English speaking people and think that they are a joke. There are rats, spiders, and cockroachs all over the complex, dont recommend it at all!!!

I enjoy being a resident here. The staff is very attentive to any concerns or issues and they are always friendly and respectful. An appliance of mine malfunctioned and the issue was addressed and resolved in a matter of days. Ive been a resident here for several years and it seems to progressively improve each year, especially in the appearance and cleanliness. Having a great community that includes an exemplary office staff and maintenance staff alike, along with other wonderful and neighborlyresidents, makes for good, comfortable living. The manager here is new and doesnt respect the community.His name is Roman Guzman and has harassed the residents specially whos doesnt speak good English their is not respect at all. I am sad to see this community go in the direction the new manager is cultivating after so many good managers before him respected their duty and resident to manage the building and allow the community to naturally flow in a positive way. Someone in upper management needs to make changes before the current manager creates any more violations of the rights of the residents .

Ive lived here for several years.Love the location but lately ive seen poor quality of living.Garbage & boxes not disposed properly,left on hallways,cockroaches on units and common areas like laundary.management has to listen our concerns.

My first review was posted 4 years ago, time for a new one. Since my last review I have upgraded from a studio to a 1bedroom and it is a slice of Heaven! Like all apartments they can use a little help and I am pleased with the response from management they are really diligent in putting everything in working order. They say change is gonna come... The only thing I want to say is that I’m very frustrated with the new managers here Roman and Lance. I’m waiting until these COVID-19 is over and everything is back to normal and I will sue the apartment for making us live in unhealthy apartment with rats and roaches.

The manager-office and front entrance looks great, it was very welcoming and smelled so good. l was so happy to see the staff cleaning and working with the resident to bring the apartment back to life and beautiful. The new manager really knows what he’s doing and all the residents are excited for the change.Thank you to Roman and his staff.

The worst apartment I have ever live in piedmont apartment the manager is so rude and disrespectful to the tenants the upper management they need big attention for those the office manager’s also the building is so dirty and pee every where never clean the elevator smell so bad people get sick specially during this COVID they should deep clean with professional cleaning people this property it getting worst since the new manger take over.we ll take this to the Oakland city inspection.

The worst apartment I never witnessed in my past 47 years. Worst management specially (Roman). He is one of the worst person to deal with. Also I have witnessed roch, mice, rat, and bedbugs. Make sure after visiting the apartment make sure you dont take bedbugs with you. Also I will include the garage disposal mess.

I will give Piedmont Apartments 4 stars! The location is absolutely perfect. Food and bar spots of all sorts, a free shuttle at Kaiser to get you to Bart, right near both freeways. Great place to exercise and get healthy foods. Lots of banks in walking distance...Overall I loved the area and If I didnt have to move I would still be here. The staff is very helpful in any situation you might have!

Dion A.Lived here for the past year and can attest to many positive changes. I agree that the previous manager, at the end of 2012 was unprofessional & a bit rude to other tenants. She did, however, give us a great deal on move-in and we moved in just as they were finishing up the renovation. Not many places in the area at this price range have a new look, so it was nice to find a place that was more up-to-date. Me and my wife absolutely love the location and will miss being so close to everything. Their is a free shuttle from Kaiser next door that goes to and from the MacArthur BART station M-F until 11pm. So my wife was able to go to and from work with ease via BART. The freeway is literally 1 minute away, although you cannot hear it, it made my commute a nice one as well. We also loved being on Piedmont Avenue, with all the shops, restaurants, coffee shops & trendy stores it was very convenient and we had many nice strolls in the area.We would have stayed here much longer had my wifes job not relocated to Sacramento. Cant beat the price and location. As well as a newly renovated building from top to bottom. Finding an affordable apartment in the East Bay was one of the most frustrating things to do, we truly felt blessed to have found the Piedmont Apartments.

I love that I was given the opportunity to live here with my child. The apartments are lovely and so are the residents. My concern is the cleanliness of all buildings, garage, trash areas and elevators. It would nice if the garage area was more secure. Above all I am grateful that I am not homeless anymore and that I am able to attend school and work that is all because you took a chance on usBlessings & Thank you

Bad customer service .there is person in the front desk Who’s name is Lance when I ask him to put his mask on to talk to him he get mad and close the door with out solving the problem disrespectful .I have been living 10 years in this Aprtment this management is the worst

Ive lived in this building for six years, and its pretty good. My apartment is small but decent. Im on the Richmond Blvd. side of the building, so my view is of trees and older homes. The building does have occasional maintenance issues, like taking two months to fix the elevator thats closest to my apartment.The location is excellent, right at the edge of Piedmont, where there are lots of shops and restaurants. One major bus line stops right in front of the building, and another one is just two blocks away. Both of them connect to BART, and between them you can get pretty much anywhere you want to go.

Its a very nice place and the staff is very friendly.

The edge of the bathroom vinyl had lifted, posing a trip hazard. The maintenance guy tried to put a metal saddle over it, but the concrete floor underneath resisted all his efforts to drill into it to secure the saddle. He wound up resorting to sealing the edge of the vinyl with Gorilla tape. Its not pretty, but it works.

I am currently a resident here. I love it. The neighbors are friendly. Not too much noise. The staff in the front office rocks! Both Jocelyn & Gale both bring a peaceful spirit to the atmosphere. Ive been a resident since 9/2011 and they are the best yet. The way they run the office makes me feel all warm inside. They always assist me with whatever I need. I love them. The only issue I have is the rent increase every year now, for 3 years. Before the new owner came along, I didnt have rent increases, so this is new to me. Im on SSDI, and might have to move eventually if these rent increases keep . happening.

I’ve been a resident over 15 years and I was pleasure living Piedmont apartment But right now the worst place lives in this apartment especially the New manager is so rude and disrespectful.

I come this apartment complex to visit my friends, every time I came its so dirty specially garage by the elevators area has a urinal smell, also in the building on the hallways floors are very dirty and the trash bin areas are so full and I seen a lot of roaches running on the hallway, I dont think the tenants are living for free I just dont understand why the management pay attention and take in care of it.

It hasn’t done yet, I don’t think office clerks and maintenance guy have acknowledged my request yet.

I want to know the price of the 1 bedroom one so i can spend happy years here

Worst management ever seen

The mentenans of piedmont apartment visit my apartment with out my permission and I feel so an sequre Im thinking to move becous of this, I also find my dore open most of the time when I come back from work, Im so so tired reporting this the police and the manager cous I have report this issue to the police and the manager before and I changed my key but didnt work out....one day when I woke up I found my dore open and since then I dont really slip comfertebel 😟

Great location but there’s a constant issue with roaches and you should be extra careful if you park outside of the parking garage we’ve had 2 break ins in 2 years
