What a wonderful experience I had working with Best Bay Apts, and most specifically, Tameka R who was my point of contact. The house-finding process is arduous and grueling at times, hours scrolling through listings, calling and asking the same questions over and over, and with my specific situation (having 2 large sized dogs with me), hearing the same annoyed responses from these apartment managing teams. But not Tameka! She was cheerful, incredibly pro-active, personable and professional. She really went above and beyond her call of duty and even though I landed in a different housing unit, she stood out to me as exceptional throughout my searching process. Chances are your unit is not remodeled. Gated yes, but a huge inconvenience for anyone expecting any deliveries. In addition to your utilities, you will likely pay hidden fees for communal electricity, water and services rendered. Such as, maintenance, grounds keeping, and trash. If youre lucky to have coin operated washers and dryers on site, they are likely broken 90% of the time and billed separately. Communal issues take a while, but personal unit based issues are dealt with on a M-F basis

It’s my first time renting my own place and i was so lucky to have gotten all my support from Veronica! She made this process so easy. She kept me updated at all times and she was easy to reach! She made us feel so welcomed and safe. Highly recommend!

Rented a unit at 1715 high st Oakland ca and the unit was infested with roaches luckily I still had my old apartment and moved out after being there for only 2 days, had to leave most of our belongings so we wouldn’t bring the roaches with us & of course after informing management that the place had roaches they informed us that yes they have them in the building but don’t know what units have them & wouldn’t accommodate us on moving cost, 2 U-Haul rentals and calling outa work to get some of our things out of the unit. I wouldn’t recommend.

Horrible tenant care, never answer calls, never return your calls, never respond to repair request on time or simple they dont care. Worse experience living on one of their appartment building.

Poor communication, always new managers who arent aware of what is going on. Incorrect notices on apartment doors, including letters of unpaid rent when rents have been paid. Livable accounts are incorrect and they try to charge you duplicate utilities. Keep your receipts!! Get everything in writing. Horrible, horrible rental company running these apartments.

Had a great experience with Cassandra the unit was clean, affordable and renovated ! Fast response with viewing the unit very friendly and professional!

Horrible establishment. If you ever need help or contact the operator, front desk, property managers, maintenance and accounting. Forget it they never seem to answer. Security for the location are terrible, anyone can walk in and break in to your home. Maintenance did a half fast job by not fixing anything especially for our door frame, locks, tile and cutting a piece of wood for the coat rack. Security cameras dont work, I have asked and complained and reported the incident of packages being stolen, laundry being stolen, random people breaking or entering at apartment due to accessible entrances. I never felt so unsafe, cheated, left out to dry and screwed before in my life by a business like this. If your reading this, know I was a former vet, working for a security company and still is, dont live here or in their facilities.

I constantly put in work requests and they never respond. My shower was broken for 3 months before someone came to fix it and then they didnt even show up and came 2 weeks later than they had said. Now Ive been without a laundry key for a month and I have NO clothes and NO car to go to the laundry mat and they made me fill out a maintenance request FOR A LAUNDRY ROOM KEY which Ill probably never be getting. I cant believe I even pay yall.
