Me and my fiance flew into Myrtle Beach the taxi drove us to the wrong Hertz location,at first it wasnt a rental available for us there because our reservation was @ a different location, however, Kelly was able to help us out with a vehicle without any issue, she saved our vacation. Kelly was very professional and hospitable. I will definitely rent again from this location.

I have been trying to call this location since about 9 a.m. this morning and it is currently 12:40. I keep getting a recording that saying this party is unavailable. You definitely will not get any business if you cant answer your phone since renting a vehicle in person is not an option do to covid. I guess Ill have to go to Enterprise

Mr. Rick was very nice to us. We did a lot online and by the time we got to the rental place, it didnt take much to rent the car.He wasnt in the office when we got there. We had to wait about 10 mins. But, once he came back, we got processed quickly.When I returned the car, he gave me a ride back. I wasnt staying far. I thought that was very nice of him, hence the 5-star review.

I would just like to say my fiance and I love this place we always get took care of and KENT is amazing hes always on top of everything that we need rather it be car rental or extra days needed this guy doesnt sleep he takes care of the customers Im so glad that we started renting from this place so if you guys ever need a ride visit KENT if you can and I can guarantee you VIP service.

As a valued longtime customer I need to inform you of an incident that happened at the N Myrtle Beach SC Hertz office this week. My friend and partner who happens to be a doctor uses this office for her rentals as do I in our consulting work. Normally we deal with Rick the site manager who is excellent but Rick was away this week. When my friend returned her car yesterday at the designated time, she was checked in by a substitute employee named Ryan who was beyond rude to us. He checked the car in a driving rainstorm and finds a nail wedged in the tire. He tells her she will be charged for that although there was no damage and tire was full. We offered to take the car to get the tire fixed and he said “then we will charge you for another day”. As we were headed to a real estate closing we had no time to deal with the ignorance and incompetence of a 20+ year old Hertz representative and told him we would be back. I came back in the afternoon and told Ryan we were upset with his total disregard for the customer and he told me “we don’t need you as a customer”. Subsequently I asked for his last name, info for Hertz customer office complaints and email for his local office. HE REFUSED to give me any information. I followed with calls today and he again refused to cooperate. He showed nothing but ignorance, incompetence, pompousattitude and was as rude as anyone we have ever dealt with.With that being said, we have both been loyal customers and president club members for years. This has been one of the most atrocious bungling of a rental transaction we have ever seen. This individual is unprofessional at best, totally incompetent at worst. As of this morning he has charged our AMEX card 77 DOLLARS FOR A TIRE NAIL EXTRACTION. Obviously we have frozen the full AMEX card for this rental. This is a close knit community and word of his behavior will easily spread all over this area through conversations and social media. Do not use this office. Go to Enterprise up the road.

This place is the best!!! Always take great care of all of my car rental needs and help with any specific vehicles I wish to rent. The Dodge Town & Country mini van is amazing with the stow & go seating. What an awesome design feature. Thanks for always being helpful & professional with your service.

I would advise no one to use this company at all! hertz of North Myrtle beach Sc have stolen from me and I’m sure many others. Hertz after calling on different occasions have been giving me completely different stories As to were my funds have gone each time I’ve called . that both my banks have said are false information coming from this company.Story storyAFTER RENTING FROM THIS COMPANY ALL THE WAY BACK IN MAY OF THIS MONTH IM STILL YET TO RECEIVE MY DEPOSIT ARE other FUNDS THAT I WAS OVER CHARGE FROM THIS COMPANY. Will definitely be getting lawyers involved because no one no mater how big the company should able to get away with robbery of any kind

Kent is great whenever you go to this location or myrtle beach 501 location ask for Kent you wont be disappointed the guy is excellent in customer service my fiance and I visit everyOther week just because he works there we travel 50 mins to get to the location so trust me its worth it

I just wanted to say THANK YOU so very much for helping me during my rough few days. I arrived in Myrtle Wed with some friends then got a call Thur evening that my mother-in-law had passed. Not having my own car there, I frantically started looking 1st thing Fri morning for a 1 way rental car to get home. After 2 other companies told me they couldnt help me, I went to Hertz. The manager explained that they didnt have anything available. After explaining to him about my dilemma & my noticeable increasing hysteria, he quickly got to work & was able to help me out. During these times are when caring people mean so much. I can promise you, if at anytime I will be needing a rental car or have anyone ask me for suggestions...I will not hesitate to recommend Hertz.Thank you so very much!!!Melissa W

The customer service guy that answers the phone is a bit gruff and rude. Tried replying nicely to him, but seemed to aggravate him more. Worst yet, they don’thave any cars available at this location.

Ive used Hertz more times than I can count over the years. I booked a Jeep and the Hertz online booking clearly stated get the model you book - no surprises. Well they tried to give me a Nissan so I wanted to upgrade. The agent told me I can take it or leave it. Was visibly annoyed with me - the customer who should take what is given because I didnt pay for it!!!!

Staff are very friendly and helpful, although every car we rent smells of smoke. Not sure if it is caused by the staff that smoke while cleaning the cars or if it is grom renters (or both)

I had a good experience here but an employee did make fun of another customers drivers license photo to which she replied she had facial paralysis. She immediately began to cry, and he husband was clearly upset. Glad it wasnt my wife he called a freak, Id probably have been in trouble.

I was on vacation and had a problem with my own car. I rented a car from this hertz at 3 pm on July 4th. They told me they were open until 6pm. I walked several miles to this hertz only to find out they were closed. I called the hertz hotline and they were absolutely no help. I was told to call a taxi. Good luck if you ever use hertz. They did not even get close to delivering any type of service. Get a taxi, really?

I would never do business here, the guy is Very RUDE, you better check your bank statements, I have been trying to get refunded the money he has taken. For this office to have you call Hertz corporate, and they have no idea what you are talking about, then you get transferred back to this office, he lies saying the computers are down, when you can hear him typing on them, says he will call back with a number never hearing back from him.
