I saw a comment in a Facebook group that this business had a specific car for sale that I was interested in. I asked her if she could message me details. I got sent photos and information of the vehicle. I wanted to come look at it right away as I was interested. I was told it was in the shop. nothing major just an oil change and fix two Windows. I was supposed to look at it on a Wednesday. My husband works in North Carolina and we live in Pawleys so he was going to take off work early so we could go and see it. He leaves work and at 12 I get a message saying that it wasnt ready. So he had to turn around and go back to work. apparently the wrong window motors came in and the right ones would be there the next day. I was a little aggravated because I was notified a little late in the morning but it was okay. so that following day when the right window motors were coming in I waited till the evening and asked if the car was ready to be seen. I was told that they were on the way to the shop and I would be notified in 2 hours. I never heard back. the following day i Messaged for an update and even offered to take the car the way it was, and do the window motors ourselves and I didnt even want anything off the price of a car. She stated just for her to make it right. I waited a few more days, never heard anything, then got told that she would just let me know when it was ready. It doesnt take a week to put in window motors. then I was told that there was another vehicle coming in that maybe I could pick between the two. I replied back asking what year it was and how much it was, never heard back. I waited a couple days ask for an update on either vehicle..... nothing. Waited a few more days asked for an update again nicely, nothing. from the very first day I looked up the reviews on here and on Google, and the reviews were horrible. But I figured I would give a benefit of a doubt because people can leave negative reviews when they cant get their way when its their own fault. However I should have followed the reviews and not wasted my time. I was not desperate for a vehicle, I was just interested in the vehicle. but was led on for 2 weeks waiting to hear anything. I would like to also note that she was asking cash for this vehicle, so it wasnt like I needed financing. it would have been outright cash. If youre in the business to make money you should not lead on your customers and then decide you just dont want to sell to them and then ignore their messages. I know this is a good thing because obviously I dodged a bullet. but I did want to share my experience because it is extremely poor business practice on her part. Im more than happy to take my money elsewhere . on top of all that... Look at the other reviews here. One that is left is actually her acting like a customer and gave herself a 5 star review. The last name is different but her picture is her and if you click that profile she has her business in the photos. Sad...

Starfire Auto is the biggest joke of a carlot I called about a vehicle and told the owner that it would take me at least a hour to drive to the location upon arrival I was met by the owner who immediately made me feel unwelcome but I had taken my mechanic with me and we proceeded to inspect the vehicle. He found several mechanical problems including all four tires being completely bald. The motor mounts were broken and the engine looked and felt as if it were going to jump out of the car after finding all of these problems I still attempted to talk to the owner about purchasing the car. I told her I had all but $500 of the purchase price but could get it within a few minutes she rudely said no and started locking up the building I attempted to talk to her the second time and she told me to lock up the car and took the keys and jumped in her personal vehicle and left the property with me standing there stunned at her actions. I honestly have to say that I would walk before I purchased a vehicle from Starfire Auto Sales. Dont waste your time everything on the lot was JUNK

Easy to get car financed and great cash deals. Not your typical dealer. They have mechanics on site and their cars pass 5 point inspections. Low miles cars. Female owned/operated;) Caring professional environment. Its a big deal buying a car - they get that!

Hello,I have probably left 2 negative reviews in my life, but as NONPROFESSNAL as my experience was with Starfire Auto.Being a RIGHT is RIGHT and WRONG is WRONG experience. I had to leave this.My name is Edwin Capps, and I would like to share my experience with Starfire Auto.On Thursday, June 26, I stopped and took one of their vehicles for a test drive. No one was there except for Ms. Jackie, which was more than enough.She was absolutely wonderful, friendly, treated me like a person. Well on Friday I was to be there before noon to see Ms Jackie and go forward with whatever paperwork was needed. Well, something had came up, and I was not able to get there until 3. However, I called Ms Jackie a little before 10 a.m. on Friday morning. She had told me she would be opening that day around or before 10 a.m. She answered the phone, I told her that I had something to come up, and I would see her sometime that afternoon. As I said earlier I got there around 3:00pm.So I actually meet Teresa when I got there, which in my opinion, was not anywhere close to the caliber of person Ms Jackie was. Thats just a personal insight of mine.Well, we spoke about the vehicle, and I have a dear friend at the bank that Ive known for quite some time. So, all the paperwork was done, even filled out the credit app with them for their files and told them I would be back in touch with them around Monday morning. Now, earlier in the conversation Teresa and I agreed that it would probably be Monday or Tuesday before I got everything in order to buy the vehicle. In the meantime, I actually offered and asked if she would take a non-refundablecash deposit of $1,000 to guarantee me that what did happen would it happen. Teresa told me she did not accept deposits on vehicles to hold. Now I understand, I offered $1,000 and explained I understood it would be non-refundable if I did not get the car. However, I knew that I was going to get the car so I had no problem any whatsoever to leave the deposit.Ill go ahead and wrap this up. So this morning time I called, and I was told that there was a deposit left on it on Saturday and I needed to wait to see if that customer was going to be able to purchase the vehicle. I totally understand that, I get that, it makes sense, but I offered to leave a deposit on Friday, and was told by Teresa(not necessary because of the fact she only worked by appointment on the weekends. Again telling me she didnt accept deposits. Therefore, the gentleman or lady that left her a deposit on Saturday was number one at being in line for the vehicle. When in all actuality, I should have been. Reason being, I offered to leave a deposit and was told by Teresa, AGAIN that was not how she operated her business.So in conclusion, my money wasnt any good to her on Friday, but the gentleman or lady that came after me on Saturday left a deposit, and now will most likely be driving the vehicle. I just recently called and her answer to me was Im sure theyll be no trouble with him being able to get the car because he has a job and a good credit app. Also, she explained to me that I never filled out the credit app with her when in fact I did just that requested by Ms. Jackie.In my opinion.Absolutely unprofessional and judgmental on Teresas part.Very disappointed in how I was treated,EdwinLawson Capps

I’ve been involved in the automotive business for30 years in all my year I’ve never met a nicer more helpful woman in all my life as the owner Teresa I sent my daughter down to see her she treated her with such respect and helped her get a car above and beyond I don’t do these kind of reviews often because very few business meet my expectations Teresa went far beyond what I expected I will buy all of my cars from her and send everyone I know to her one of the most honest wonderful woman I’ve ever met I truly can’t say enough about her and her operation

I called spoke with owner she said she would work with me cause i had a small down payment i went in today to look at the car she wanted to sell me i took it for a ride wasnt bad but had a oil leak, gas cap cover was broken, front grill was loose cup holder in car was broke,the radio did not work dents all over car when you start it white smoke came out of tail pipe when i brought up the oil leak and this that were broke she said for my low down payment she would not fix the this i understand i had a small down payment but she was still charging me $2,900 for the car same price as someone who had larger down payment made me feel like cause i had a small down payment i was no good and low life just very rude to me
