I am recently retired from the Marine Corps and didnt want to just keep going to military barbers. After letting my hair get longer than I was comfortable, I spotted this shop near to my home and decided to give it a try. I am very pleased with my visit to the shop and with the haircut. Honestly, I think the fade around the sides probably is one of the best Ive ever had -- extremely well done. I do think my hair ended up a bit shorter this time than I was aiming for, but Im confident that as it grows the length can be fine tuned in the next haircut or two -- something I never had to think about while in the Corps. Its clear to me this shop hopes for a genuine, personal touch that will build a repeat, loyal customer relationship. I will happily go back again and continue to support this shop. Unprofessional, unclean, weird, dont recommend !!!!

Overall, not a terrible experience. The customer service was pretty good - I caught the barber during his lunch break, and he finished his sandwich to cut my hair. He was really a nice guy, but the two issues I had were the price and quality.My first question (since it was my first time there) was about the price of a basic mens haircut - $15. I told him thats what I wanted, then described the cut I wanted (short on the sides with a bit longer on the top). He charged me $18 for a fade, which seemed unfair given the fact that it was a VERY basic cut.The deciding point for me is the quality of the haircut. After some cutting, the barber put some grease in my hair to comb it over before I could tell him otherwise. When it came time for the mirror inspection, it looked pretty good. When I got home after running an errand, however, I noticed some glaring flaws. There were a number of much longer hairs over and around my ears that remained uncut (perfectly obvious without the grease), and the top length was unsatisfactory.Given the price and the fact that he didnt take the time to give me a decent haircut (despite his empty shop), I will not be returning to this barber.
