I got my hair trimmed and thinned. I got in right away. The lady was nice but she spent most time talking to the other worker then to me. The price was was cheap enough.

I have used Cost Cutters for myself and my family for over a decade. The quality of services seemed to be waning over the past couple of years, from uneven cuts to roughly pulling hair while brushing to downright unfriendly stylists all while raising prices, naturally. The final straw and the reason I will not be returning is that my 11 year old GIRL brought in a photo of a short haircut. Short on one side and longer on the other to be precise (whatever thats called.) She came home with her father and looked like a BOY. The stylist completely disregarded what she wanted, likely thinking that it wouldnt look right with the color that would be left hanging on the ends---we already realized that. Luckily, shes been a really good sport and hasnt woke up bawling about how bad her hair is yet. Ill be looking for a stylist that is willing to do what the paying customer wants!

Haircut turned out fine but it didnt feel like a haircut more than she was ripping the hair out by its roots. The sytlest seemed very rushed and the haircut was painful as a result. She also kept slamming the clippers into the side of my head as well.

My son got a great cut. And I got a good laugh!

We have went here for several years. My boys either get a really good haircut or REALLY bad ones. Its my fault to continue to revisit but after this last time we will never go back. Two different stylist chopped two of my boys hair so bad.. 1 is not blended.. doesnt look like the pictures we showed them at all.. the back is cut so high it is going to look so bad when it grows out.. at this point I hope it grows really fast just so we can go somewhere and get it fixed because it is not even fixable at this point. I did bring up my concerns and all I got told is what the total was that I owed.

I got a hair cut last week and I showed a picture to the manager on how I wanted my hair cut done. She cut my hair in less than 10 minutes. She didn’t even blend my hair on top and left me with some very long hairs by my ear. I will never step a foot again at Cost Cutter. I pay for a fair hair cut; not for a messed up hair cut. I had to go somewhere else to get my hair fixed.

Haircut turned out well, but my stylist didnt wear her mask properly. I dont expect it to be worn fully at all times, but while cutting my hair, it should be pulled up.

Always get my hair cut by Andrea and she does a phenomenal job! She can cut a really solid fade which is hard to come by in Norfolk! I definitely recommend you get your hair cut by her! You wont be disappointed!

Did not listen to haircut instructions. Did what cutter wanted to get child out of chair as quick as possible. Electric buzz cut that could have been done at home.Never will go there again.

Cant even put to words how bad my sons hair cut is. Top is shorter than the sides in spots. And they missed an entire section in the back. Unlivable how bad it is. I have seen 5 year olds cut their own hair better. If you get Chloe, run while you can.

Have had two different stylists and both did a great job. Also had my son hair cut here and they did a great job. Fast service, most every time I go its walk in, check in, and head to the chair for a quick hair cut!

I recently went in there with my niece who has cerebral palsy and was shocked at how well the stylist worked with her to give her the cut she wanted. It was extremely challenging for her because due to her condition she has a lot of trouble controlling her head and neck. Alma was amazing and did exactly what she wanted done. Great place and was pleased that our normal fears with my niece were calmed.

I went there on 11/26/2018 asking to get the haircut of the picture I uploaded. None of the three ladies working wanted to do it. This is probably the most common mens haircut in the world!! They do not teach this haircuts in college? They did not even bother in looking closer at the picture since they were seating and chatting. Not a way of doing business. Sorry for the company and the college they represent!! I will never go back to any Cost Cutters again. Thanks for nothing!

I got my hair cut today,it was honestly the worst hair cut I have ever got in my life time. They put no effort in cutting my hair. They where done after three minutes,they didnt even line me up? I recommend no one come here unless you want your hair not looking so great.

Phenomenal group of ladies

I had an eyebrow wax for my daughters wedding. I informed the stylist that I had my daughters wedding in a few days. Ive never had such an awful burn on my eyelid. My left eye has a large red burn from the corner of the eye up to the center and middle of the lid. The wax burn was down on my eyelid and eventually scabbed over. Every employee should know how to wax eyebrows without hurting the customer. The scab remained until the morning of the wedding when it washed off in the shower. I used aloe vera gel and neosporin continuously to keep it soft. The staff has always been very professional and Ive never had a problem until this visit. This taught me to find the one youve had before when you know they are good!

VERY unprofessional. They talked about being hungover, partying, and used such language you would never want your kid to hear. She cut about all my hair off when I told her I just wanted a trim because Im growing it out, and its uneven! The lady doing my hair obviously didnt know what she was doing and constantly asked help from other people. Got really annoying especially when you can tell how much they judge and talk about you. Dont even waste your time going here ladies.
