Keisha Roberts services came highly recommended. I was attending a wedding, and badly needed my hair re-twisted and styled at short notice. From the beginning to the end of my appointment, I was blown away by the experience provided by Keisha and her assistant Mani. Not only did they provide the services that I had scheduled, but they also noticed a product build-up issue in my locs and rectified the problem right away without question. I was very impressed by the amount of care that the establishment provided because it was a symbol of how much they value their customers. I was not the only appointment at the time, but I was delighted by the way that they were able to multi-task, and provide adequate services to us both. Also, the amount of knowledge that Keisha holds is very impressive. This was the most insight that I have ever gotten in regards to the loc process. Keisha was able to answer every question while walking me through the after-care process step-by-step. Upon leaving, I felt very informed. After almost a month, I still get compliments on my hair because of the quality of work that was done. The only downfall is that I do not live in the area to have regular access to their services. Would not recommend. The braider, Mani, must be in the beginning stages. She did not complete or do my box braids properly. I paid her $80 for Lg Box Braids. This style should have took little over 2-4 hours, but I remained in her chair until 8PM. The boxes she parted in my head were fine, but the hair did not connect around the rubberbands she put in it. Mani did not go back over my hair in order to cut down any flying strands or pieces sticking out; and she did not complete the braids by braiding it down to the ends, but soaked them in hot water. I had to have another of my stylist friends come back over and help me redo her work. PRACTICE! PRACTICE! PRACTICE! But not on someones head whos paying you their hard earned money smh.

I have gotten my hair done at Flawless Hair studios 4 times by Jae and everytime Im always happy with her work. Not only is her work is amazing, neat and detailed, but her energy, personality, and vibe is so laid back, positive and a rare find. She will take the time to educate you on how to care for your hair and will also give you alternative natural treatment options that actually work. I think shes one of the best hair braiders out here, but dont take my word for it. Go check her out for yourself. You wont be disappointed!

Today I had an appointment with Keisha and I got starter locs. Ive been to her a few times prior but for silk presses. I am very picky when it comes to whose hands are in my head but Keisha is the best hair stylist I have ever encountered. Shes not only a great individual but also a bad ass stylist!!

Miss telaya has done my sew in and silk press. They both looked so good. Mind you she keeps Me laughing and smiling while getting my hair done. Definitely becoming a regular. Still rocking my silk press and my hair is flowing like no other .. thanks girl!!!!

Keisha and Nikki are amazing. I started my loc journey about a month ago. My first loc stylist did a good job but it was the products she was using and my scalp became very irritated. I washed my starter locs and i thought i ruined the whole process. I came across Keisha and Nikki and they ensured me that my locs will be okay. They was right. My scalp feels wonderful and my locs are soft and healthy looking. I will be returning. Thanks again!!!

I went to Keisha Roberts for a Shampoo, Scalp Treatment, Silk Press, and dusting of ends. She had a walk in, who “walked in” maybe 5 minutes before I did as my appointment was for 0900. It took about 10 minutes for her to finally get me to the shampoo bowl, even though she wasn’t done with her walk in which I appreciated. I let her know I lightly pre-poo’d my hair to make sure it had moisture on my hair and my scalp because I just got off of a 17-hour flight and I know airplane environment has a tendency of drying out my hair. She left clarifying shampoo on my hair for over an hour as she tended to a walk-in, then proceeded to use no real form of conditioning or moisturizing agent. My appointment called for a dusting of my ends, but she took it upon herself to cut my hair without telling me or letting me see. She did the initial cut of my hair after only blow drying it. Her excuse was essentially that her flat iron wasn’t strong enough to get through my hair so to deal with the damaged ends she needed to cut it before. She was uncomfortable with me asking questions because she wasn’t feeding me information about her process. Her response to me was “you must of had a bad experience with a hair dresser.” What I had to explain to her was that I’m not familiar with her and her methods so I’m asking questions to gain clarity, especially since it was my first time going to her. At some point I realized she isn’t familiar with natural hair, her expertise is with loc maintenance. She proceeded to clean up the ends trimmed prior to flat ironing but used her finger to comb through my hair instead of the comb. And to end the actual description of my appointment she never gave me a scalp treatment, but fortunately she didn’t charge me for it. Everything about this experience gave me extreme anxiety. I am making this review a few days after the appointment, as I notice all the inconsistencies with my hair. After all the cutting she did, my hair is uneven, I have strands severely longer than others. I don’t normally make reviews unless a service is absolutely exceptional or, conversely, abhorrent. She should advertise her services for loc maintenance and color only. I have been natural for 5 years, and my hair has never looked this way after having this service done. Though I appreciate her time, I will not recommend her nor rebook her for any service again.

Ive been going to Keisha for over 3 years now. I have my moments when I tell her she can do whatever because I trust her that much. And if anyone know me, they know I dont trust anyone especially when it comes to my hair.Update: 6 years in and shes still so awesome. She helped me on my natural journey and now i she started my locs last month and Ive shouldve taken her advice sooner. I absolutely love her ❤️

The place was beautiful on the inside. Met a nice young lady who are purchasing a Groupon from to get my eyelashes done but when I called to return to get them done again they had let her go so I dont know if theyre still honoring the Groupon or not.

I had a braid appointment with Jae yesterday at 12 noon. The Owner of the shop was very kind and reached out to her before she arrived chekcing on her status. I get a call at 12 that she is still braiding another client and it would be more like 130pm. Close to 130pm I was told 2. She did not arrive at the shop until 4pm!!!!!! 4 hours after my schedule appointment for which I paid a deposit. I couldnt reschedule because I needed my hair done (which is why I made the appointment). She arrived and I had to change the style I wanted because I had an event that evening. I have several problems wih the unprofessional service from my braider. 1) know your schedule. 2) be honest about the amount of time after you have already inconvenienced the client 3) if your policy is to charge $25 if someone is 20 minutes late; then you should have contingency policy to discount your services if you are late, especially 4 hours late!!! I was given a $15 discount, not really the appropriate amount for having to wait 4 hours for a scheduled time. Early communication could have avoided major inconveniences. I could have stayed home longer and got other things done. We got finished at 8pm. When I got to the event, everyone was leaving. My hair was neatly done, but after I wasnt able to get what I wanted and the run around..I wont be returning. Impovements have to made, this is not the way to handle business.

Although my hair was cute I was disappointed in the service by Telaya. I made an appointment for my birthday which was on a Tuesday for 10am. I made it on a Saturday as a walk in. Arrived 15 minutes early and the doors were locked so I waited. After 10 I called the number on the door and the owner said she was almost there. Once she arrived she handed me her phone and Telaya stated she would be an hour late. I was upset about that but I had no choice. I wasnt going to find another person to do my hair in time. She was very polite and started right away but another client came in and she proceeded to do this clients entire hair and made me wait. I did not leave till after 3 oclock. Missing my nail appointment and reservations for my birthday. I hate that it happen because they were very nice but I feel I was placed aside because someone with a higher paying style came in. Even worse she had just called and made her appointment that morning because they asked if I was the one who called that morning about the Bob. I hate having to find different stylist. All I was getting was a wash and style with a few pieces glued in for length. 😥 Happy with the hair. Disappointed in the service.
