Great local owned business, great service and affordable prices!

Very few places on Google Maps have a 5 Star rating. This shop however has earned it. Awesome, friendly place..new young Owners with a great selection of bikes!!

Racist owner and worker. Stay away from this place, got treated badly when we enquired prices and left.Edit: I didnt feel comfortable adding this last time but since some folks asked me about it. I was accused by the shop assistant of stealing thousands of dollars from the safe.It was crazy. I had just stepped in the store, enquired prices, saw the MAGA sign and left. We were about to take off on the ferry when the shop assistant came running and created a big scene on the boat. In his words Ill follow you wherever you go if you dont come to the store.It was finally resolved when I started calling the cops and talked to the owner.

Huge MAGA sign in the store made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Better rates at bike shops (that don’t officiously support separating immigrant parents from their children at the border) just 2 blocks away- Rays Rentals.

I was incredibly appalled by the rude and terrible service received at Sparkys Family Bikes. Dont be fooled by their cheap prices. What you will receive are cheap bikes that carry more of a liability than they are worth. My family and I rented bikes here to ride ON THE PAVED bike path along the beach. My boyfriends seat became so shot throughout the ride that he had to stand to be comfortable. In addition, the back tire on my fathers bike blew up after 35 minutes in, to which we had to figure out a way to get the bike back as it would have been too long of a walk. My boyfriend rode one bike while carrying the other all the way back (rather than just leaving it behind). Upon return, the owner of Sparkys was nothing but sheisty, rude and could care less of the situation that had just occurred. I DO NOT recommend Sharkys bicycles for bicycle renting purposes. There are far too many quality renters in the surrounding area to visit for a better experience.
