We had our personal cruiser have a flat today and Jimmy the Manager went out of his way to help us. They have excellent customer service and are helpful with any situation you might encounter. All staff is professional. Thank you for your help today!

These guys are super nice gave me a deal on a bike it was October so I’m sure peak prices are higher. I rode around Newport and Balboa. Highly recommend getting off the beach for a bit as well lots of funky houses on the peninsula and the traffic is light and slow making it a fun ride. Get a bike with a basket to hold your bevies.

I have been a customer of theirs since I can remember (2002 ? ) and have nothing but praise for these guys in rentals and with sales. I have also bought 2 bikes plus accessories and the results are always positive. Thumbs up pipeline ! Keep up the good work and stay safe in 2020. :-)

We had an amazing experience here! For $16 each we had a 3 hour rental for a great bike. Two hours in we wanted to see if we could trade in our bikes for skateboards for the remainder of our rental free of charge. They quickly exchanged our bike and had us on the way!

We rented 5 bike and 1Tandem as a family for an hour. When I returned the bikes to get my final receipt, the cashier told me I owe him two bikes. He refused to clear me and wanted to check again. The bikes were already turned in and the employee who took them didn’t pass that information to the cashier ( no communication). I understand they make you sign a contract and take your credit card information to charge you for lost or damaged bikes, but as a customer they made me look like I did something wrong or kept the bikes. Just to confirm again I had to go outside and get my family members to confirm they did return all the bikes, and find out who did they give them to. The employee who took back the two bikes in question failed to dispatch it and clear them from my record . He was gone and not there at the shop anymore. I went outside trying to figure out what’s going on, another employee representing the shop taking returned bikes was very rude, and gave me and the rest of my family an attitude. I told him you already took the bikes, the other employee did. Instead of apologizing, He gave me an attitude and was not friendly mumbling insults in Spanish. I understood what he said and told him to watch his mouth. It very unprofessional and disrespectful. As customers We returned all the bikes We rented . Half of the bikes were in bad shape and didn’t complain about it. I am commenting on that particular employee who doen’t respect customers without mentioning names this has to be addressed by the management . I will not do business with them again nor recommend this place to my friends and family. They need to train their workers how to treat customers professionally, and get rid of that attitude.I usually don’t write bad reviews, but that particular employee needs to beretrained. This incident happened 31 December 2018 at 1630Hrs.

Rented 2 body boards and got additional extra time on top of the 3rd free hour. Boards were brand new. Quick and super friendly service.

I come by this store every time I visite the New Port Beach Peer, they are your typical beach store with tons of stuff to purchase, souvenirs, beach staples (sun screen, chapstick, towels, mats etc) and rentals.I have rented bikes here, they could have used better maintenance, but all turned out great.Employees are helpful and store is crowded but organized.

If I could give no stars I would very unprofessional. We rented two bikes one being a double passenger. As we were trying to get going the guy not only laughed at us the whole time but insinuated I was too fat to ride the bike. when in reality it was just to high for how long my legs were. He had to try 3 different bikes each one was broken and he couldn’t fix this is about 15mins into our already paid hr. We went in to get a refund and have my sister return the bike she had already taken off on. As we are waiting for her to return the guys laughing at us and of course we let him know it’s not cool. It then starts a big ol argument and his boss came out and instead of telling him to stop being so rude he starts being rudeTo us as well. 10/10 would not recommend!
