The staff (Eliza and Maria) at tutor the people were kind and had great communication. Eliza linked me with my tutor Shan who is an amazing tutor. She really helped me create a strong strategy to pass my LCSW exam. She made me feel strong, confident, and helped me reduce my anxiety about test taking. Shan was always on time, supportive, and a great personality. I would recommend her as a tutor because she is awesome.

I would not recommend people looking for tutoring, at least for the GMAT, to spend any time pursuing Tutor the People. The process was slow and I informed them of my deadline during the initial consultation and yet two weeks later, I still havent heard from TTP about a 30 minute trial. Luckily, I didnt waste more than two days waiting for them nor sign up for their service. I was able to find another service to use.

I dont have enough positive words for Tutor the People. I hadnt been in school in 10 years, so the idea of taking the GRE obviously made me a bit apprehensive. As a tutor, Ryan never made me feel like I couldnt achieve the goals that I had set, and was always encouraging. He helped me improve so much in just a few months. His kindness, patience, and focus on the process makes him a great tutor for anyone. What really makes Tutor the People stand out is how much they care about their students. During my time studying, I had to take an indefinite hiatus due to a major death in the family. Ryan and Eliza were incredibly supportive during that time. They never pressured me, frequently reached out to check in and see how I was doing, and ask if they could do anything to help me. Ill be forever grateful to both of them, and I absolutely could not have achieved the success that I did without them!

I used TTP to finish passing the CPA exam. With their help, I was able to pass both REG and FAR, my two most difficult sections. Eliza was always so helpful and available to me for my needs. Extremely professional and responsive. She pairs you with tutors that are a good fit for what you need! I was able to use the same tutor for both of my remaining sections. I took direction well from the tutor and her study tactics. She is truly the reason I was able to get over that hump. Sometimes you need just a little extra guidance, or just receiving and processing information differently by actually talking things out with a real person, not just your online study materials that can turn foreign over time.
