3 for 3!!! I had three very different children all wanting to get into the very competitive NYU. Well, all three were accepted and to very competitive programs at NYU (Stern Business School, Clive Davis School of Music and School of Psychology).Scott Farber was exceptional at helping each child prepare their essay. It was beautiful to watch how Scott helped each child “find their voice” and claim their identity to the world. My children grew in confidence and self realization through the essay process. Very meaningful for each of them and for me as their father.Each also scored in the 30s on their ACT. The test prep helped them score better but I also think it made them better learners and prepared them for college.I give A list an A+++!

We met with a few different companies and tutors before choosing to work with A-List and Jon Morris. Its important to make sure your child and the tutor connect because theres a lot riding on it if they dont. Dylan worked with Jon Morris for 6 months. Jon was always on time, communicative, clear and patient. Dylans SAT score went up 300 points which changed the schools he was able to apply to.I would highly recommend A-List and Jon Morris. They were both amazing to work with.

We had an amazing experience with A-List! Scott was my daughters SAT/ACT tutor- he was able to focus on the areas in which she wanted to improve without wasting time (or our money) on the areas that she had already mastered. He is super smart, maintains a great rapport with both parent and student and is totally accommodating with scheduling. Amazing company to work for!!! The training is A1 and the management is beyond supportive. Unlike similar companies A-List definitely wants the student to score high and has a fool-proof system to take students of any aptitude to the next level.

I highly recommend my daughters tutor Jacob Fjeldheim. Jacob was always polite, punctual,well informed and very helpful. He diligently brought My daughter through the program for the ACT. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. After the first practice exam Jacob focused on all areas of my daughters strengths and weaknesses, with her ultimately raising her score from test to test 4 points. We are thrilled with the results from the testing and we can’t thank Jacob enough for his guidance!

I am a tutor with A-List. They have a lot of different programs, as they work with inner-city schools in addition to conducting private sessions. If you are looking for a company that invests in their tutors, then this is definitely it. They have a unique approach towards tackling standardized tests such as the ACT and SAT. Its tutors also go through training sessions that are led by qualified teachers. If you are looking to work for a tutoring company, then this is probably one of the better ones. They pay a good rate, and understandably they have high expectations for their employees.

Working with my tutor truly helped me raise my SAT score. Although I only had an hour per week of tutoring, Jacob Fjeldheim individually answered my questions and helped me tackle my test weaknesses. He gave me tips on how to answer everything quickly and correctly. Without A-List I would not receive the SAT score that I have received, and for that I am grateful.
