Fantastic dip manicure. If you want nails that are neat, will last weeks, and technicians that are detail-oriented, this is the place.I’m very picky about my nails, and when living in Philly tried 15+ salons to find a decent manicure. Thankfully Eva’s was only the second I tried in the city and will go here for years to come.

I went here to get tips and SNS nails. They looked beautiful when they were done. However, six of them have fallen off just 11 days after getting them done. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for long-term nails.

I’ve been coming to Eva’s about 4-5 years. They never disappoint. I come out here for work and will make a trip from wherever I’m staying to get them done here! By far the BEST I’ve found in nyc.

Best manicure in NYC!I’ve been to many salons over the years and found this salon by chance. I was impressed with its the details and attention of the staff and owner.

Used them for SNS mani and regular pedicure. There were serious language barriers to the point where the technician could not understand the color or questions about number of coats applied to the nails. The pedicure was painful and again the technician could not understand to stop doing what I asked her to do. Most regular pedicures treat heels with paraffin but this salon did not and it is a separate service that you have to ask for and face communication challenges if you do so. The job itself came out OK but I was on edge through the entire process. It was a let down.

Love love love this place! I’ve been doing to Eva for about 6 months? My dip has NEVER chipped with her. She so meticulous! Nails look fabulous every time and she is always so sweet. I have to take 2 trains and walk a little and it’s worth it! The shop takes the PANDEMIC seriously and stays clean! I look forward to nail day with Eva :)

My manicurist was not friendly, kept breathing heavily because removing my shellac was more work than she anticipated and she showed little attention to detail. My nails came out okay but the experience wasnt great. Her customer service definitely needs more work, the other nail techs seemed to be friendly to their customers.

So Im technically giving 4 stars because I had to wait 35 minutes because Eva didnt know I had already come in. I guess that was a miscommunication error where someone didnt tell her they seated me? I dont get what happened there. Once I got started, everything was pretty smooth, minus a few interruptions because they were closing. But Ill just chalk that up to the previous error. For the most part, Eva did my nails and they came out great. She really tried to give me the gel powder look that best suited my nails. I did the french manicure by the way, and its actually cheaper than in the suburbs and 5x better haha. Try to get her if you can. I just like her overall vibe.

Mani/pedi. Specifically went for SNS Powder. Google reviews were proven to true - great service, great results, attention to detail! Very hygienic. Wide SNS, Gel and regular color selections. Appreciated that they didnt have nail grinders, just regular clippers, files and buffers. Looking forward to my next visit.Logistics: Easily accessible by public transportation. Weekday parking in the neighborhood is impossible before 7 pm due to the alt-side rules (the United Nations IS across the street). Pricing is appropriate for the work and location. FYI - $15 min on CC, cash only tips.

Honestly my favorite salon in the city. They do such a great job there and I love how my nails turn out every time I go! Definitely recommend

Amazing place to get your nails done! I had the powder dip mani and gel pedi done here for my wedding and both my fingers and toes looked perfect for my special day. In fact, they also lasted through the entire honeymoon. Definitely schedule an appointment if you’re coming here. It’s a great spot and the locals know it!

I went to Evas Nails and Spa whilst I was in NYC on holiday from Australia. Im so glad I went to Evas because the reviews were absolutely right! - great service and impeccable nails at a great price. Ive been to other nail salons in NYC that were no where near as good. Definitely check this place out if you havent already!

Eva did my nails! She did a beautiful job, her work was surprisingly very detailed given that fact that she was extremely busy. It seems as though her entire staff are expert in their work as I watched them work together and individually to get other customers nails done with precision. The atmosphere is friendly and serene. I will definitely go back again. I’m looking for a permanent nail salon and will be visiting a few other shops. Eva’s is definitely a top choice and I’d recommend it.

Great pedicure and dipped nails - Anna gave a really lovely, careful, attentive pedicure - one of my best ever (did the Gel one). Re. manicure: 2nd time Ive played with dipped nails - this was SO much better than the place that did it originally. Here they did not over-file the nail in preparation, used fewer coats, created a beautiful natural french look, and again were very detail oriented and careful. I shall become a regular customer.

Dina did my nails and I am very happy with the way they turned out! I came in specifically for SNS powder and they seem to be known for that. My nails still look very natural, not too thick as it often happens with this powder manicures. And the best part is, here, they were very gentle with my natural nail and used only a buffing filler to prepare my nail. Definitely recommend this place!

Just got my nails done here for the second time, and I’m hooked. Linda did my powder dip nails and did a fantastic job. I’m a bartender, and normal gel lasts about 3 days on me- their dip nails lasted 3 weeks! Very courteous and meticulous service. They accept cc but you have to tip in cash. Worth every penny.

I was lucky to get a manicure without an appointment. The colors are all wonderful and the service is great. The owner seems very welcoming as well. They also have cute little gift ideas and you can also buy their nail colors.

I just had a powder dip manicure today so I cant speak to how long they last but Eva herself greeted me and did my nails. She spent almost an hour on me and was very thorough. My nails look lovely. The salon is relatively quiet (which I like) and does not have a strong acrylic/ nail polish odor. A very pleasant experience.

Clean, no frills, excellent manicure and pedicure salon. SNS powder dip nail gels with more colors than you can imagine. Very helpful and attentive staff. Eva herself is truly excellent. My first visit i had two 5-year regulars say they wont go anyplace else, one who travels from downtown. They take credit cards, but tips required in cash.

A wonderful salon: excellent and meticulous work given by a very caring staff. I have been coming here regularly for nearly a year. Evas growing -- and well deserved--success is evidenced by her recently expanded facilities. We who live in the neighborhood are fortunate to have access to this marvelous place.

I came to this place from 20th and 5th so it was a bit of a hike to get there but after going to two places and not being satisfied, I decided to try it out. My person was May with the green tips and she was super thorough and amazing. Ive never felt my nails so smooth and they look so great. They arent a thick layer either which I find hard to accomplish especially if the nails are short. Im very happy with the experience and was in and out in under an hour.On that note, my friend on the other hand also had same appointment time as me and by the time I was finished (I didnt have to soak off) she hadnt even started. She had to soak off which I understand takes time but the woman she had kept coming in and out, after she removed the foil and buffed out the left over, she left then came back, buffed again and then left. Asked for what color and then literally never came back. Once I was finished, my person May had to grab the colors for her and then unfortunately they didnt have the shade she wanted so by the time I left, she was waiting for her color still and hadnt started yet had been waiting for an hour with an appointment time set.For my own experience, Id give it 5 stars but for my friend who we were supposed to be getting our nails done together and, have to give it 4 stars.I guess I will have to come back and see if I still have the same experience. They seemed very busy and had at least three people soaking and waiting. Ill do an update review when I come in for my next fill.

They did a good job on my nails. You kind of get the sense that if youre not a regular, youre nobody. I tried to make small talk, but they werent having it. They loved talking to everyone else that walked through the door whose name they knew. Thats ok. I got a good manicure.

Would have given 4/5 stars but the technician dug into the inside of my big toe so deep, the tool she was using was almost at the bottom of my nail bed. Now I’m home 12 hours later in pain, feeling like my nail is separated from my toe. Really upsetting. I even told her to stop -but who slides a nail utensil that deep!?!? Avoid!!!

I read the wonderful reviews about their sns (dip powder) and decided to make an appointment. My techs name was Linda and she did a great job, her application was flawless! I was also very impressed with the fact that they do not use the electric file to prepare the nail bed (because it makes the nail very fragile). Overall this was a great experience as everyone seemed friendly and polite. Will be my nail salon as long as I am in NYC.

First time in NYC. Saw all the reviews and thought I should try Evas out. Im glad I did! Both Eva, and Norman did my dipped powder. Its a bit pricey, but its worth it. A good birthday treat for me.

Truly horrible experience. The woman who was doing my dip powder was so rough on my nails when filing around the cuticle area. 6 of my nails (where the nail meets the cuticle)were bleeding by the time I left and my fingers were in pain for a while after. It felt like she was repeatedly slicing my skin with sandpaper when filing them and was doing it so hard. I’m so upset by this place I almost left in tears of the pain. And hardly any apology and no discount even though she saw the blood.

First time visit. I went there as some of the reviews were great. I was seated to a broken massage chair, when there is another one, which just had someone’s purse on. I asked why my massage chair was not working, they laughed and said “it’s the only broken one”. I totally did not understand why they thought it’s approproate to seat a customer in a broken chair, when there is another empty chair with just a purse on, and has no problem with it.Totally lost any expectation for this place and already ruined my moment.Then I had to ask if I can move to the other chair and move that purse so I can sit on it.Service is just ordinary. I would come again if all of other nail places cease to exist in NYC.
