It was my first time getting laser. I was a bit nervous but my technician Ashley did an amazing job. She made me feel comfortable and explained the process very well. To top it all off I had no pain. I look forward to my second session.

Clean and nicely decorated space with polite and efficient staff. The laser system they use is so fast and effective as well. Saw results with my Brazilian laser in the first session! I tried them out with a Groupon first and have already have added on other services for future visits. If you’re planning on trying them out, planning is the key word. They book fast so I make appointments two months in advance. They also have very reasonable prices and offers for first time guests.

I went yesterday to my first appointment and I was impressed with the place. Very organized and clean. Have everything planned to maximize your time there . Appointment started and finished in time! As is my first appointment I can talk about how effective it was but I update my review in a couple of month talking about this.Have in mind the place is right next to Central Park so there is street parking but is hard to find so arrive with a least 20 min in advance for this.

My technician was amazing she is very gentle and answers questions that allows me to better understand the process. It was my 4th session they make me feel so comfortable every time. I do a full bikini and underarms and it last less than 15 mins with amazing results.

I feel very comfortable coming to this location, it is clean. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and kind. I never had laser before, this was my first time coming here. I’d recommend it to anyone. My skin is hyper pigmented. I am up to my fifth session and I am seeing results. I always thought laser wasn’t affordable, but it turns out it is! Invest in yourself, you deserve to do what ever makes you feel comfortable!

I’ve been coming here for about a year now and I could honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. Since the first time I’ve booked my appointment I never looked back at waxing or fully shaving again. Staff is very friendly and the space is cute small but spacious. The only thing I wish is the company would buil one in the Westchester NY area. The drive from where I live/work to get into the city and back is hassle some times. There’s never a long wait for me I’m usually in and right back out!❤️

First time yesterday and it was a pleasurable experience. I usually do my research before I go anywhere and it has made all the difference. I have brown skin and if the right laser is not used, you can be in for a horrible experience. Sev, however has a the right laser for your skin type if you are brown. Angelica was my tech, and she was friendly and knowlegeable. The office was clean and at the time of my appointment only one other person was in the waiting room. They checked my temp and everything was contactless apart from the procedure, 7 mins later Im on my way not to being a hairy monster anymore.

I’ve only done one session of laser hair removal and I am so happy! It didn’t hurt at all, no swelling, no redness, my skin didn’t react to it at all so I thought I wasn’t even gonna see results anytime soon maybe because it wasn’t very “strong”. Was it? Never mind. Hair is falling off EVERYDAY! Yes, everyday! Make sure you follow instructions carefully. I started seeing results after 10 days of my first treatment. The place is beautiful, the staff is the sweetest. So happy I picked SEV. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the NYC area

I LOVE THIS PLACE...... the service is amazing! the vibe is great. I love how well everyone treats you from the receptionist to the tech. Ive actually gone to a couple of their locations. I lived in NYC and went to them, then moved to TX and there wasnt a location in Austin so I would literally drive to the Dallas location to get my work done. Needless to say I am very happy that there is one open here in Austin finally!!!! Seriously book it if youre thinking about it. Theres value in the service and hands down one of the best people I have had the pleasure of working with.

The office is very clean and they are following social distancing protocols. I made my appointment online and paid online. It was great that I could fill all my paperwork online as well, it made the process very easy and quick with no need for contact once in the office. I forgot the name of the person who did the treatment but she was very helpful and knowledgeable. This was my first time doing laser treatment and I was pleasantly surprised at how quick it was and that it wasnt as painful as some people have made it seem.

I have been going to Sev Laser since August of 2020 and as a non-binary person who often finds it hard to find places where i feel welcomed, i took a chance on reviews like the one i’m writing now and WOW. Life changing. I specifically wanna shout out Angelica, Tiara and Ashley, all the ladies are amazing but these three really do go out of their way to make me feel comfortable throughout my session. The Results are the BEST and it takes time like anything else. Trust the process. I love my results and the place. I wouldn’t change a thing. I really recommend this place if you’re like me who wants to get rid of unwanted hair from any part of your body.

The best decision Ive ever made regarding beauty. All of their technicians are friendly and very informative. They make you feel comfortable and important. The Brazilian laser service is nearly painless. Its 100% better than waxing and its definitely less messy and way faster ! I saw real results after my third session (I have a darker complexion). I am officially IN LOVE. Nothing wins me more than excellent customer service (been in service industry for years). SEV is, from beginning to end, way above average in this dept. The service is professional, organized, safe, and clean!! It smelled really good when I walked in. The front desk assistant was very nice. I walked in and I didnt have to fill out any forms bc they sent them to me in advance via text. They had my payment information from the initial appointment setup and so I didnt have to give my card on my way out. All I did was pay a tip on the iPad they had mounted on the desk.It was soooo quick and best of all PAINLESS. I am so happy and super excited to be hairless! :) Thank you Jenn, the esthetician. She was very knowledgeable and took her time. She took care of me, explained things thoroughly, and was so sweet. It took less than 5 minutes. I appreciate she was honest and explained it could take several sessions to get the desired results. I was terrified it was going to be really painful but it was not bad AT ALL. I WILL BE RETURNING and I will/would refer anyone who asks about laser removal to this place.

I suffer from PCOS and was told by a doctor that my best shot at getting rid of my facial hair would be getting laser hair removal. And I was so scared that this was gonna hurt and that’s how a lot of people make it seem like but it’s definitely not the case it was less painful the. Waxing and we all know how much waxing hurts. The lady that did my first treatment made me feel really comfortable and made sure I was okay during the whole session and it literally only takes a few minutes. It’s super fast

It was my first time EVER getting Laser hair removal. I went big and went for a Brazilian. The tech (Gabi) made me feel so comfortable all while being super professional and informative. The location was small but super chic and clean. Cant wait to go back for my next session!

Absolutely amazing! Super clean! It was my first time and she took the time to explain everything and made sure all my questions were answered. It took a total of 10 minutes and was basically painless! I was so nervous going into it but They made me feel comfortable and the whole experience was amazing!

The front staff was nice and professional, I got there and 4 mins after they called me in, but the laser process was terrible. My session didn’t even last a minute (I’m not even kidding) and she didn’t laser the whole area. At the end of the session I had to go to the restroom to check and as I expected, a lot of spots were not treated (keeping in mind I have experience with laser treatments).

Angelica is my laser hair removal technician & she’s amazing; extremely knowledgeable & very professional.There’s a couple reasons why I’m giving this place 2 (actually, 2.5) stars:1. The front desk receptionists are really unorganized. Since the very beginning, I knew that they had a full body laser hair removal package that they offered. I was interested in it since I was the one who asked them whether or not they offered full body packages. They informed me that the price would be $2,250 & it would need to be paid up front. I had no issues with that so I told them that’s 100% fine with me! I even told them their prices were unbelievable.After my first consultation with Angelica, prior to leaving, I informed the girl at the front desk that I was going to do the full body laser hair removal package which consists of 6 sessions for the entire body. So, I told them to charge my card that they had on file.When, I came to my first session, I realized they never put my card on file. So, I was charged a fee of $450 + tax. I left Angelica a 10% tip for her services. However, I instantly realized that I was supposed to be charged $2,250 + tax up front but they charged me a different price so I asked the girl how come they’re only charging $450. The front desk receptionist stated that my card was on file already but they never charge me & that she will adjust the price for me so that way I’ll be paying for the full body laser hair removal package up front.After informing them MULTIPLE times over the phone & in person that I was interested & wanted to go through with the full body laser hair removal package which required to be prepaid, they failed to upload my card on file & charge me for it.2. My laser hair removal session felt rushed. Perhaps this place operates differently when it comes to doing laser hair removal for the entire body. However, I have family members & friends who have done full body laser hair removal & it takes well over 2 hours; usually between 2-3 hours. Considering that I have a lot of coarse, thick hair. . .I was only in there for about an hour & didn’t think it was long enough for a session that supposed to be for the entire body.3. Scheduling here is not an issue if you schedule your appointment in advance but to schedule with a technician that you want, it’s nearly impossible. For instance, I’m the type of person who wants to stick with the same person that did my consultation (if I was satisfied of course). I don’t like different people treating me when it comes to anything. When I ask the front desk receptionist to schedule a date & time with Angelica, it’s a hit or miss & not guaranteed. They tell me to call a day or two before to confirm if Angelica will be my technician. I find this to be ridiculous. The schedule should be steady for ALL technicians. I feel like their scheduling system is extremely unorganized & not reliable at all.4. This place will charge you a fee even if you comply with their cancellation policy which is to cancel 24 hours or before that. Their appointment cancellation policy states that if you cancel 24 hours before your appointment, you won’t be charged but that if you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, you will be charged a fee. I don’t agree with this policy at all. No other place will do that to you but SEV Laser.Life happens & emergency situations come up; if a person complied with the cancellation policy & cancels 24 hours before, then I don’t see why the person should be penalized for doing the right thing. Before anyone thinks I’m jumping to conclusions here, I actually confirmed this information with a front desk receptionist so I’m not making this up in any way.If SEV Laser can improve in these areas, my review for this location will improve in the future. My current rating & review is subject to change for better or for worse depending on how my future laser hair removal treatments go. I personally don’t believe or think there will be any kind of hair reduction if each session only takes an hour or less.

Would’ve definitely given this rating 5 stars if the person on this phone didn’t mis-gender me. I clearly told them I was non-binary and i was put in their file as a “Man”. But when I came in for my appointment they cleared everything up with no further issues. It had been a year since I’ve gotten laser on my face and my first time (at a different location) was TRAGIC. But I had a GREAT experience with Tiara who made sure I didn’t use any products before she used the machine on my skin. It also felt good to have a person of color who was my tech and was very knowledgeable of melanin skin. Can’t wait for my next appointment :)

SEV is great! The location is clean and inviting with a well decorated waiting area. The appointments take less than 10 minutes and Ive seen results after only 2 sessions. Was so impressed with my first experience at SEV. First, they respected all social distancing / masking guidelines and I felt very safe. Second, my laser technician made me feel comfortable from the start and walked me through everything so that I knew what she was doing. Third, the laser itself is incredible. It is SO much faster than other lasers I have used - I would say my session took maybe 20% of the time compared to other places I have been too. The laser also blows cold air on your skin as its lasering, which makes it a lot less painful than others. Overall I am so pleased that I found this location and definitely recommend it to others. It may be a bit pricier than other salons but is well worth the extra cost to ensure this kind of service.

First time getting any laser anything and was so inviting and helpful. From the young lady at the front desk, who was so sweet. And the icing on the cake was with me being a Black Woman I worry about this stuff scaring, which is why Ive never gotten it done. But with my technician being a young black woman was reassuring that this would disturb my pigment as she could understand my concerns culturally. You be surprised how small things can ease a mind.

I went in for upper lip and chin laser and I left dissatisfied. Laser tech didn’t even take a moment to assess the area I wanted laser. She rushed me out of that chair so quickly, within less than a minute she was done. She did not touch my chin at all and that’s what I mainly came in for. So disappointing, my chin hairs were the same as when I walked in. L I was looking forward to finally stop tweezing. Reached out to them via Instagram and they said someone will get in touch with me but no one ever did.

Everyone was so polite and informing. staff had all the safety protocols in place. definitely a pleasant experience and cant wait til my next session!

This was my third laser hair removal session at Sev in San Francisco. I initially signed up with a Groupon for the underarms/ Brazilian package and after having such good experiences decided to add several other sections. I’ve been treated by two technicians Sara and Jericho. They were both super thorough and took their time in testing the laser on my skin before treating the areas. I know it is appealing that it is a quick procedure for most people but I appreciate that they did not rush through my session and used the time to ensure that I was getting my money’s worth!

Really great and informative service! I was worried about what might or might not happen. But the service was quick, simple, and informative. Im glad they offered me a package service, Im pretty forgetful. But Im definitely coming back, I have a lot of areas that need help, like ASAP, lol!

Needs to improve on patient privacy. Curtains, patient drapes, staff not in the room while changing, wait to come into room once undressed and such to make persons feel more comfortable while fully exposing sensitive areas of the body during treatment sessions.
