I’ve been visiting since this location opened in March 2020. I was the first customer :)The location is modern, clean, and the staff is very nice. I have never had an issue on making an appointment or rescheduling.I get laser here obviously. I can’t speak for pain as everyone has different a pain tolerance but do expect some discomfort with laser, great results though. Currently have underarm, full stomach, brazilian and full legs. Pain level is different in each area. It feels like I’m being whipped with a rubber band on fire constantly. That’s how my nerves detects it, could be different for you, plus I’m on the slim side. The more meat you have the less pain and I’m also a black female so keep that in consideration. It will hurt more to penetrate through melanin. So I say it varies for those concerned about pain, your experience will be different from mine. I’m still going over a year later.My tech Marina is super friendly and funny so that helps to take my mind away from the pain but still do expect discomfort but truly beauty is pain isn’t it? I call it my torture session days but I love the results, I hate the process.Everything is great here, I would highly recommend visiting Satori to get your laser done if you’re someone who hates to shave or wax, if it’s time consuming, if you’re someone who gets ingrown or bumps or skin irritations or skin discoloration, or the embarrassing scarring and you’ve tried everything under the rocks and sea I definitely recommend laser to solve those issues. Clean, modern, and saw me at my appointment time for underarm laser hair removal.The technician was very thorough and even let me choose if I wanted my treatment with fast pulses (to get it over with faster) or slow with occasional pressure (to ease discomfort).Treatment time was quick and results have been amazing! Its been about three month since my first treatment and most hairs have stopped growing or are extremely fine.Ive gotten laser on my legs before in FL and the quality and service at Satori is way better.

My first laser hair removal experience was here at Satori Laser (72nd street location), and I had a great experience! Facilities are clean and very COVID conscious. Customer service is great, and the people are both friendly and responsive. I text them to confirm or change appointments, which is very convenient for me. My favorite technician so far has been Marina! She is super friendly, while also diligent with her work. I have completed five sessions so far, and the results are obvious, My underarm hair doesnt grow back really, and if it does, the hairs are so thin I have to look for them to notice them. I started with coarse, dark hair, so this is a huge difference for me. The convenience of not having to shave my underarms all the time (used to grow back quickly) or being self conscious of the shadow thats there even if Im freshly shaven is honestly liberating. Highly recommend!

I had my underarms done with lazer technician Hitomi. She was nothing short of amazing and made me feel at ease from the start. These was my very first session, to my surprise the whole process lasted about 2 minutes and its was not as painful as waxing. The location is well-maintained and clean. Im looking forward to my next session and to a summer of no waxing!

I got the package of 6 sessions for underarms and it truly has made a difference so far. I appreciate that the packages dont expire at all. I no longer need to think about shaving because the hairs are very light and stunted in growth. So far Ive had 3 sessions. Each process is quick and simple. It doesnt hurt except for areas that are closer to the bone. After the process, I just continue on my day as usual. Overall, I highly recommend Satori Laser if you are looking for a place for laser treatments.

Satori Laser is FANTASTIC! The Penn Station location is always clean...even their bathroom. The receptionists are nice and helpful in person and over the phone.Tsira is the technician I see. She is beyond professional, knowledgeable, and sweet!! Shes the best! I HIGHLY recommend her!Also, I will never forget how during the summer I paid half of the amount for a package for an area. I didnt start any of the sessions yet. Then I received an email with specials where the area I had just made a partial payment for was at a cheaper rate. When I mentioned it to a receptionist initially, she said they couldnt honor the cheaper rate as I have already made a payment. Surprisingly not long after I got off the phone, I received a text saying they will honor the cheaper rate and charge me the difference at my next appointment. I was thrilled and appreciative they did that. That type of customer service is difficult to find nowadays.

Technician each time explains post treatment care and ask questions before starting the procedure.Information Sharing - They enter the procedure detail into their computer system and this way it is available for other technician for next time if she is doing it for you first time but yours is not first session.Billing and Tips - It is nice and easy for adding tips into the closed envelopes for your favorite technicians.

I’ve had such a great experience over the last 2 years with Satori. I’ve never been to any other laser salon in NYC or otherwise but can safely say that the exceeded my expectations. The staff are very friendly and patient with scheduling appointments, detailing services and offers and are really good about following up with them. I’ve had a couple of different professional technicians but my favorite so far has been Anna who works out of the Penn Station branch. Not only is she great at what she does, but she’s warm, friendly and patient about pain levels and calibrates the laser accordingly. She’s great to work with if you’re starting sessions for a large area. The facilities are clean and stocked with amenities like candy and coffee which is great if you’re stopping by after a long day or in-between errands. The location is very accessible as it’s right next to Penn station. The other thing I like, is that there are no wait times. The appointments are on time and I’m usually in an out without any hassle. The only thing I wish I could have, that would make the experience amazing is if I got a digital copy detailing the history of my visits, types of sessions and time spans between each. This helps me keep a better track of my progress and help schedule/ buy other sessions accordingly.

I’ve been going to Satori for years. It’s very easy to get to, very clean facilities and friendly staff. I adore Hanna. She’s very sweet and always takes her time, makes sure my pain level is tolerable and that I’m comfortable. I’ve had chin, lower face, underarm, lower abdomen and Brazilian. I will continue to go indefinitely for maintenance, especially if Hanna is there. She gives good advice for after care and makes sure to remind me to avoid sun exposure or facial. I highly recommend the 34th street location.

I have been waxing my full legs for as long as I can remember and knew that all of the money I had spent on waxing should have been going to laser treatment instead. I am so glad I made the switch after three session virtually no more hair grows on my legs. I have thick darker hair for reference. Allison is great and very thorough. I tried a smaller section on a different area as well and after one session you really do see results. Satori is very trusted in my opinion and I will continue to keep going back to do more body parts! Definitely check them out you wont regret it.

Satori Laser at Penn Station is awesome! I am having my hair removal done there. The staffs are courteous and working efficiently. There is essentially no wait time if you be prompt to your own appointment time. The hair removal process was reviewed and they will point out things to expect after the laser treatment. The results obviously was very noticeable. So far I had done only two sessions on the underarms, the regrowth had been reduced A LOT! I really look forward to the final results after completing all sessions! Unfortunately one affect is hair growth. I have had such a hard time trying to hide my chin hair growth because any woman would. I decided to go to this facility and it has been the best decision I have ever done! From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave and even over the phone the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The procedures are quick and rather painless. Also, the Yelp reviews gave me promise that this place would be good. I found a Groupon for Satori and have been using them ever since. Ive had amazing results and I refer people to them all the time. Tsira is very attentive and detail when it comes to the hair removal process. She always has a very upbeat disposition and polite.

BUT once you buzz in and walk upstairs to Satori Laser you’re in another little world.The staff is super friendly and helpful. Both long term technicians are skilled and answer all questions and concerns.And the service over all is great! They call AND text to confirm appointments and answer questions. Texting is SO great. Lifesaver!!! Satori is the first place Ive gone to for laser hair removal and I was hesitant at first, as there are so many other laser places out there. After the consultation, I felt confident in the technicians and have been going regularly for the past year. Im very pleased with the results and recommend to anyone who wants to try it out!

I cant say enough great things about Satori Laser. Ive had two sessions and each one has been relaxing and seamless. Tsira is a wonderful technician and really takes the time to explain the process of hair removal and the necessary steps to take post laser to ensure healthy skin. Its also worth mentioning that my original appointment for the second session was several weeks after vacation and when I came in, Tsira carefully examined my skin and made the decision not to perform the removal because I was too tan. Anyone could have simply went ahead and charged me but instead my best interest were taken into account. Now that its summer Im going to take a break, but I cant wait to come back in the fall for my third and fourth session.

Satori Laser is the best!!! After suffering with the side effects from shaving, waxing and using hair removal creams for many years, I decided to try laser hair removal; it was the best decision ever. No more ingrown hairs, no more irritation and no last minute shaving to wear that tank. Its clean, smooth, and no discoloration; I couldnt ask for more. I wish Id done this years ago.

After a lot of research on different sites and spas for laser I decided to give Satori a try and am so happy that I did! They are very efficient and get you in and out; the spa itself is immaculate, which is always nice to see, and the staff are all very well-informed and friendly. I was worried about the pain, but it isnt as bad as I expected it to be and they are great about making you as comfortable as possible.

Really love this place! I was recommended by a friend and I went there to do my underarms. It was my first time doing laser hair removal, therefore, to make sure its safe, I went to many laser centers to do the consultation first. Among them, Satori Lasers consultation was the most professional one, and their price was also so reasonable comparing to others like Romeo& Juliet and Pulse. The most important, they all use Candela machine, which I found during my research, is the best laser hair removal machine so far in the world. After I went there for the actual session, my technician Mimi was so kind and patient, the whole process was just NO PAIN AT ALL! Now its already my forth time of underarms, and so far so good! Guess what? I already ordered new package of lower legs!

I do not ever rate anything online, but I had to for these people. Since the beginning, I have been treated with nothing but kindness and professionalism. The staff is fantastic, as are the results. I am only 2 sessions in, and I barely even shave anymore. I highly recommend Satori to all. They are also EXREMELY Trans-friendly and supportive of our entire community. I did the first 2 sessions on my facial hair and underarm. After the first 2 sessions, my hair grow slowly and almost half of the hair didn’t grow back!Also, the staff are so friendly and nice there. They would not sell you to purchase any sessions! Overall, it was a great experience and deal to remove the unwanted hair!
