My laptop screen was completely cracked. I contacted Lu and it was very easy for him to find out the exact screen I needed to replace it. He did the research for me and sent me a link. I ordered it and as soon as it came in the mail I was able to schedule an appointment that same day to get it repaired. Not only was I able to get it repaired the same day, I also was able to pick it up the same day. Hes fast and efficient and great on communication. You do have to pay in cash but hey, every business has there preference. I totally recommend him! My computer feels and looks brand new again!

I dont like posting reviews on companies I didnt receive a full service from but my experience was so unprofessional I have to. I inquired with this store due to all the good reviews but was sorely shocked at the customer service. Extremely rude and patronizing. Demands I bring him a $150 deposit in cash before even looking at the computer and when asked why gave a nasty reply. The attitude was so sour I unfortunately had to look elsewhere.

I emailed and got a prompt response for my power supply issue on my desktop. He came in on a saturday afternoon to help me change my power supply as I was unable to take time off during the weekend. Much appreciated.

Great, prompt service. I called in the middle of the day when my laptop shut down, and explained that I needed it back as soon as possible for work. Ludovic had it back to me by the end of the day, so that I could use it while he located an additional replacement part. Highly recommend.

Trying to decide wether to post this review or not. Asked this gentleman to come over and look at my daughters computer after just having moved to NY. He said it was cash only. He called for the appointment and I let him know that I only had enough cash to pay for two hours of his service. There was no flexibility on any other method of payment. Never did I say I would not pay, I indicated that I only could afford two of his hours, so hopefully it could get done on that time. He then called me back and refused to help us, and on top of that was rude and very un-empathetic. If he had been flexible and offered to come and look, if it had taken longer than two hours I could have paid a bit more electronically, but no. I am giving him a very bad review and do not recommend him to anyone who needs help.

This place deserves 6 stars. My computer screen was shattered and they fixed it within 20 minutes. The service was excellent and Im very satisfied. I highly recommend B4Computers.

Awesome work and would highly recommend!! The guy/(owner?) is a bit gruff/blunt on the phone but he was able to meet on short notice. He took my 8 year old MacBook, which wasnt taking a charge, spent about 30 minutes with it, and discovered a slightly damaged part in the charging unit.Then, being considerate of the fact that I was frantically trying to resurrect my laptop for a late afternoon video call and didnt have time to wait several days for a replacement part, he used a special kind of tape to kinda jury rig the damaged part back into place. And it works!!!Ive had my MacBook repaired at the Apple store a few times and they always require at least a few days for repair work. And Im not sure that they would be willing to use tape as a quick fix when I was in desperate need of a quick fix.This guy/owner (I feel bad for not getting his name!) went way above and beyond and totally worth the $75!

My review is for service I received over the phone that caused me to bring my laptop somewhere else. I felt the guy on the phone was being rude to me because I sounded like a young woman. I like my laptop repairs without a side of sexism, thanks.My laptop had water damage and the guy was suggesting I bring it in to be cleaned and then maybe it would work - $150 either way. I asked if the alcohol swabbing was the type of thing I could do myself and this is what set the guy off - he kept telling me “not to dump alcohol on my computer”. I really felt like he wouldn’t have responded this way to an older male asking him the same question. He kept going on and on, ridiculing me for thinking I could do such a thing. I’ve seen friends set up their own computers and I’m generally handy so I thought maybe I can do it myself, Ive been able to do a lot of things on my own at my business that I thought I needed a professional for.I called back a few days later thinking I might still bring my laptop to him but when he realized it was me, he goes “so you didn’t dump alcohol all over your laptop?” Again, I really thought he wouldn’t speak that way to another male.I ended up bringing my laptop to Geek Shop near Borough Hall and the guy was super nice - advised against cleaning saying it almost never works. I’m glad I went somewhere else, otherwise sexist guy would have my $150 for no reason.

Wow. Cant say enough about B4 Computers. Ive had my computer repaired twice from B4. The most recent occurrence came after another place was unresponsive and unreliable, resulting in calling B4 to see if they would b able to assist. Thankfully, B4 was able to repair my computer in less than a day. Not only were they quick to turn around but they were responsive, professional and reasonable. If you need your computer repaired, definitely check this place out- highly recommend!

Ludovik did a great job. I had purchased a new laptop and unsuccessfully tried to upgrade the operating system by myself. He was able to fix everything and get it running smoothly in a short period of time. His prices were also very reasonable. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience.

The internal wifi card on my laptop stopped working. Within a few hours, Ludovik replaced the part and had it up and running again. Great price and great service. Would definitely recommend.

My computer would NOT turn on. I emailed Ludovik at B4Computers explaining what was wrong, asking how much he thought it would cost to fix. Instead of a quote, he emailed me back with quick instructions on how to fix it and voila! it was back on. Awesome geniuses work here, Im convinced.

I went to B4 computers to get a cracked laptop screen fixed. I had ordered a screen online, brought it to the store at 9am when I was supposed to have an appointment to drop off the computer. I call at 3pm to see if he had arrived to start working on my laptop. He says he is on the way, and then calls me to tell me that the screen I ordered was cracked. Since he had “already done the labor” of putting on a cracked screen, he made me pay full price.Essentially I brought a cracked screen to this repair store and left with the same cracked screen $100 dollars poorer.DO NOT GO HERE.

They laptop battery was about to blow up. They ordered a new battery and had me up and running by the end of the week -- for $149! I will be a customer for life.

Had my Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon laptops screen die on me. Ludawig was very helpful on the phone when I first called him. He figured out exact model I had and what screen I would need to order as a replacement. Once I got it, i just dropped it off with him. Fortunately for me he was able to turn it around the same day and later that evening i had a fully functioning laptop again. He also did all the bios and other updates that I had been negelecting. Great Fast Service. I highly recommend him and will be using him in the future for all my computer repair needs.

I was devastated when my computer crashed. It was an expense I was not prepared for and Ludovic saved me from despair. I found Ludovic on Google too. Very helpful and client-oriented. I had two laptops to get fixed. On first call he pre-diagnosed the problems. He will tell you right away how much this will cost and never start a new fixing without telling you.The drop off option in Tribeca was just perfect for me. Timewise was ideal. Aweful and Sketchy! Lies about the hours, its like a hole at the end of a hallway that you are supposed to leave you computer at inside of a clothing store that probably is a front. Terrible!
