What a cool place to work out! Theres even a pool, racquet ball courts, showers, and locker rooms. If you want to get in shape, this is a great place to do it.

The staff here is great. Maintenance, reception and all.The gym equipment and equipment functionality maintenance tho? Either at the regional or location level, Someone Needs To Be FIRED for the shabby, rusty, broken, and otherwise poorly maintained equipment in this place!Looking through the eyes of a former fitness professional and general business manager myself, this is INEXCUSABLE.This is the path that business take straight out of existence. You cannot expect to grow a business with a presentation like this. What the hell kind of impression does this make on prospects that membership sales people are trying to close when giving a facility tour?!I Hate being a customer of a poorly run business. If I were to do my job this poorly, I wouldnt have one, and neither should whomever is to blame for this!

This is a nice LA Fitness that is typical of most of the newer clubs that were not a Ballys. I travel a lot, so I go to a lot of LA Fitness locations. Once you walk in, you know where everything is because they have the same general architectural layout. This one is clean and well-maintained, and the people and clientele are friendly. But I must say that the aerobic equipment (treadmills, cross-country machines etc.) is the oldest and most dated that I have seen. They are the same brand/models, but they are covered in rust; I dont know if this has something to do with being close to the beach or something, but the machinery looks old. Otherwise was a great location.

They simply don’t care about basic accountability or ongoing member satisfaction.Pros-Custodial staff keeps the place clean-If you like weight machines, there are a lot of them-There are multiple fitness options such as racquetball courts, a basketball court, and a small lap pool

While back I go to LA fitness, pretty big. Second floor is treadmills!

Was on my last set 2 minutes before they closed at 4:00pm, and the receptionist literally blocked me from finishing my workout!! Like how petty can you be??

The general manager, Kiki,and also Chelsea were extremely helpful in navigating through the LA Fitness experience. I would recommend this Stuart Location of LA Fitness based on not only the gym, but how attentive they were to mine and other members needs.

This is my home gym and I love everyone there theyre all very friendly and helpful the gym is very clean and you always see them sanitizing

Terrible customer service. I tried to cancel my membership but i couldn’t cancel it online nor on their app. I either have to fill out a cancellation form or go in person to speak to the Operations Manager. Huge flaw in their system but I’m sure they do this on purpose and make it difficult to cancel.

Standard LA Fitness. They get an extra star because they a have a 35 meter turff area for HIIT, tire flips, sled and TRX.

I go as soon as they open at 5A on weekdays and 8A on weekends to avoid less people. I see employees walking around and sanitizing the equipment but it doesnt hurt to do it yourself before and after use.

Well vacationing in this area I found this place to be the nicest LA Fitness.

Did a free trail day today, go to planet fitness now, tons of people just like PF, loved the sauna, just too expensive for me, they do have a pool and showers

As with most businesses these days amid covid19, LA fitness has a few changes. The pool is open but you have to sign in and only swim lanes, no aqua aerobics. Sauna, basketball court and kids room are all still closed. There are cleaning stations everywhere. They offer a contact free sign in app with the scanner easy to access. Each LA fitness may have different hours and classes available., check your local store.

This la fitness has every other machine closed for covid and does have plenty of spray bottles around the gym unlike other la fitness in the area. It’s newer but they don’t have all the other machine some of the other do which is a bit of bummer but great if your in to crossfit

Like to workout there but when it becomes busy alot of young kids will hang out around the machine which can be annoying. I mean business when I work out and dont go to hang out. It has good equipment and work out areas though.

Ok but need morning cycling classes in the morning during the week.

I went into LA Fitness this morning to cancel my membership. The person at the counter took my name and was suppose to hand it to the manager. Come 2:30 this afternoon my membership still has not been canceled. So I called up to the gym. And spoke to a very rude boy by the name of Shawn. When I asked about my cancellation and when it would be processed he was very rude and unprofessional. Telling me not to worry about it and that it will get done. Ya, that is what I was told that morning. This gym is very quick to take your money, but when it comes to canceling your membership they don’t seem to make you as a customer a priority. I would not recommend this gym to any. I would suggest further training to Shawn on how to properly talk to clients, instead of responding like a child speaking to his mother who didn’t get his own way.

This is the best location. I’ve gone to other locations and was very uncomfortable with the cleanliness. I had to stop my workout. When I go to the Stuart location I’m comfortable. The classes are terrific and the facility is clean.

Clean friendly

By far the best, cleanest, and most welcoming gym on the treasure coast. The vibe these days in LA fitness is unreal. I spend a lot of time in the gym, most days I am there twice. For a corporate gym, its more like a home gym. This is my home.

This LA fitness facility has decent equipment, especially since the remodel. However, they quite frankly are under some of the worse management in South Florida. The management will tell you one thing, and then do the opposite. They’re extremely inconsistent with their policies and regulations. Most of them never know what is going on. I got turned away after being with them for 6 months because of some random rule they made up out of nowhere. I decided to discontinue my membership because I don’t feel respected or valued as a paying, loyal member. The gym was overpriced anyways. Spend your money elsewhere.

The staff there is great. Always greet you when arrive along with the the staff that keeps us safe by cleaning non stop whole time Im there, which is everyday. Id like to personally thank Schekilla and Jeremiah. Thank you to all that work there n keeping us safe and for being open. O yea and try a protein shake after they have an amazing selection. Friendly trainers glad to be there ty la fittness!!

Signed up online - so easy! Love their classes and instructors, especially Zumba. Everyone Ive met has been so kind and supportive. Really love this location.

Our families favorite gym. Spacious. My biggest gripe about gyms is they are usually cramped and the machines are very close together. Not here. Perfect amount of space between machines. I also love all the classes. No matter what your skill level, you can participate. Also, my 4yr old loves coming and playing with the care givers.

REVISED 8/17/20: Since their renovation, theyve added more machines, grass turf, and now have bumper plates, bands, boxes, etc. Ive since changed my membership over to LA and am very satisfied with the service and facilities. Smoothie bar is excellent, too!OLD: Substantial class and recreation options. Thorough supply of machines and free weights. Missing some minor pieces, such as resistance bands and bumper plates. Very few staff patrolling/maintaining the floor.

Staff is very knowledgeable, I never have to wait to use equipment. I often go to yoga and spin class at this LA Fitness and it never fails to give me a good workout! Highly recommended.

Best smoothies in town

I love LA fitness I have been a member to many LA locations over the past 6 years, unfortunately this location does have a few machines that do need fixing but the staff is always friendly and it’s always clean. When signing up for this location they were not pushy I even had a gentleman named William go out of his way to bring me my key tag because I am so busy.

We have been working out here ever since Martin Memorial closed their wellness facility in Jensen Beach. LA Fitness is huge and even includes a pool. Personal trainers are available and the smoothies bar is outstanding.

Nice place sence remodel. Would like to see wipes all over the place so members can wipe down equipment before and after ther work out.

Some really nice hot guys work out there as well as a couple who work there. Am dating a guy I met there while working out.

High quality LA Fitness. Has all of the amenities that you would expect. Never seems to be overly crowded at peak hours. Facilities are generally clean and they seem to be on top of any maintenance projects instead of simply placing a piece of paper on the object and claiming “maintenance scheduled”. As a germaphobe it does bother me that they don’t have sanitary wipes for the equipment and don’t demand people bring towels, but this is pretty common at most gyms.

I was having a very bad problem with my water as it is well water and my landlord never thought about having to pump out once and awhile. So anyway, I went over to LA Fittness and told them what was going on, and they let me use there shower on day passes so that I could shower. I feel that they went above and beyond with service helping me out as they knew upfront that I would not be joining at that time as I had just had a shoulder replacement, and they still just helped me out.

Best health club in the stuart/jensen area. Zane, the GM of the facility was extremely helpful through the process. I explained to him what my goals were & what i could afford & he found a membership catered to what my needs are. 10/10

A quaint location in Stuart. Nice equipment. Not the newest but def gets the job done. Staff is professional. In my opinion, the staff doesnt say much at all though. No unsolicited news, or offers, or advice, which kinda sucks because I, and I bet there are many like me, that dont really know what we want out of a gym experience and I think the staff should be hell bent on at least providing us that knowledge at least once.

Probably the worst LA fitness Ive ever been to. The manager, Sean was very rude and out of all times, when I was trying to sign up. He handled my questions and concerns in a non can do, condescending attitude. I can walk to this place but I drive 30 minutes out of the way to visit the St Lucie West club for their welcoming smiles and friendliness. They get 2 stars (which is more than fair considering) because the recently remodeled the club and added a couple things here and there.Otherwise its the same standoffish vibes when you walk in and the club is still dirty despite the new additions to the club. They never clean the weights so 10 out of 10 times when I wash my hands after I workout, the water is dark brown. This place is very much in need of a manager who cares about the club and its members.

Nice staff members I must admit, and my comments are not directed towards them. Who steals a pair of wet, nasty triathlon shorts? Keep a close eye on your belongings as I have noticed a few shady characters lurking around the locker room. I obviously became too complacent

Good facilities and plenty of fitness classes. Equipment rentals such as basketballs and rackets could use upgrading. New trainer Decio is amazing!!!! Hard work, weight loss, dress size decrease, increase muscle and shaved body fat % in minimal time.

Great indoor gym, but not a spa resort gym where they supply towels for showering, outdoor pool or track. You have cardio machines no indoor track but for a standard gym I give it a 4 star. Unlike other gyms in this area you have to pay for a personal trainer. Staff is great, never had any issues, and most weve gotten to know on a personal level. You will too if you go consistently. Its always clean and if you have teenage boys or if youre into the sport its great evening hang out durring the week for those that love basketball.

Excellent staff and facility. Dry sauna is hot! (Like its supposed to be.) Workout floor is nice and open with enough equipment to get the job done.

The actual gym, equipment and people are very nice. When signing up beware, everyone pays different monthly and down payments. If you pay more than $30 down and $35 a month youre being taken advantage of. If the rep wont do it just find someone who will. :) I think initially they wanted almost $300 upfront to join.

I have been a seasonal member for 2 winters and part of the current winter. It is always a hassle to freeze my account and this year I tried to cancel the account....also a big hassle! It seems ridiculous to me that to cancel, I have to do it in person at the gym or print a cancellation form and mail it. In today’s world of technology why wouldn’t I be able to cancel online? In addition to that, the gym is very dirty. There was even vomit in the classroom one morning which told me it isn’t cleaned on a very regular basis. I will say that the class and spin instructors are very good. I will be finding a new gym for our winters in Florida!

This is a nice gym with friendly staff but selfish moral. After asking repetitively, staff and management both, there has been no resolution to my issues and has pushed me to find another business to support. Every day I would watch countless water bottles being thrown away, because there was no recycling system implemented. This is 2018, I thought by now most businesses would be with the movement of making the world a better place. Unfortunately the lack of effort or care has turned me off and I will not speak highly of this way of management any longer. Thanks while it lasted.

The management at this location is the worst. They dont care about member requests or concerns and the trainers are HORRIBLE> They never watch the people they are training and most of what they show them is wrong. If youre going to be a trainer leave your phone on your desk. Would be great if the members actually racked their weights when finished... plates and equipment are always left lying around the gym.

I have been a member since opening. The staff needs to learn how to greet people. Every time we walk in, we greet the front desk with no return response. Part generation/part poor management.

I called from CT and asked about a pass. They said just stop in on your vacation. I was skeptical but when I arrived they were very nice. I got a tour of the facility, no pressure. They even extended the pass. The gym was clean and not too crowded. Great experience.

Old dirty equipment. Staff turnover is high. What you see is what you get expect 20% of machines to be non functional or down for repairs.Expect months for major items like pool hot tub or sauna when they break.Low attention to detail. High demand on staff.Most people here are good people with high demands.If you are looking for a trainer call around many of the gyms in Jensen beach are prior la fitness trainers.

Overcrowded!!! Just got back from working out and saw 2 guys talking while leaning on a machine. I did 3 lat rep, 3 chest reps, 3 reps of squats, and 3 reps of calf workouts while these 2 ladies talked and blocked the machine. (Probably 25 minutes total) No mgr in sight to talk to them about blocking a machine. Would give them negative stars if possible, Will look for another gym. DO NOT JOIN!!!!!!

I like the improvement of sanitizer and hand soup all around, also the fact that the glasses and wind is and mirrors are very clean, good improvement LA FITNESS

I love LA Fitness in general I dont really care for this one theres something odd about the way its set up inside, its kind of off-putting. strangely unlike the other La fitnesses the staff is not very friendly and I keep finding hypodermic needles in the parking lot but it is in a great area and theres a lot to do around there the malls right up the street

LA Fitness is a great gym to go to on US1 in Stuart they have more exercise machines in there that any other gym Ive ever seen beautiful swimming pool locker rooms are beautifully kept shower rooms are beautiful except the great place to go to

Hate the remodel. Took a third of the floor for training and squeezed the rest of the equipment into front and back. Last 2 times I was here, 1 person on the training floor half and 30 people squeezed into the other half on machines. Poor setup. Whoever designed the new layout should be fired.

The best LA Fitness out of 6 or 7 Ive been to. It totally outclasses the ones in Broward County. The music is not obnoxious and volume is kept lower than at the cheesy ones Ive had to endure further south.

All they care about is making a sale and if you say no they start insulting you worst company ever nope don’t do it. The guy Danny suck ass my wife came in there to do a membership he tried to charge her for full price when they have a promotion going on and when she kept saying no not yet she will be back he start saying ooh I hear a lot of people saying that and they don’t I guess it’s whatever. Then start insulting her by saying ooh you can’t just pay that much only wow ok I guess you don’t want to lose the weight 😒😒🖕🏾🖕🏾

Nice gym but had a bad experience with a rude sales manager. Purchased a membership in CA and went to this location after moving to Florida. Was told my membership fee would go up about $10. Fine. Paid the new, higher monthly $35 fee. Used the gym a couple of times with no problem, but today this sales guy told me I couldnt use the gym again until a $99 reinstatement fee was paid, which I had never been told about the three previous times I visited the gym. Sales manager not apologetic or understanding about my situation, and made it seem like I was the one who had messed up...Im looking for a new gym thanks to this guy.

Equipment is old. Super crowded. You cant find the tool you are looking for. When you want to cancel you have to personally be at the gym during business hours weekdays. What a service.. Lack of competition I guess.

STAY AWAY - BIOHAZARD! I saw a man using the seated leg curl who was bleeding on the machine. I told the man and the LA Fitness staff (the manager). The man continued to use the machine to finish his sets and the staff did nothing. I used another machine, finished 3 sets, went back and told the staff again exactly which machine it was and that the man was no longer on the machine. They still did nothing! I told 4 separate people not to use the machine while I was using other machines nearby. After 10 minutes, I went back to the staff (manager) and loudly raised my voice so that several people working out nearby could hear me. He told me that he was busy talking to the Vice President of LA Fitness. I asked if I could speak to the VP, he said no. He eventually told someone to clean the machine, but the person cleaning it was clearly not trained in cleaning up biological material - she (a teenage girl) did not wear gloves, she did not know if she was using bleach or not, and she only wiped down a small section of the machine. After writing this, Im contacting corporate and the health department!

Large corporate gym. Can be packed with old people sleeping on machines and chatty people flexing in the mirror. Stair machines are always broke....

Clean well maintained equipment. Mostly friendly staff. Pleanty of room an machines. Sales department could use a revamp. Sign up online if you can.

Everything you need in a gym. Machines, basketball, racket ball, cardio equipment and great free weight area. Long drive from Stuart though.

I would like to give it a 4, and usually it is a 4, but they have got to start fixing some of these machines and so now it is a 3. The bikes are routinely broken, and even the ones that are in service are not that serviceable. Other than that, it usually is a good experience there. The staff is helpful and always smiling. Just got to start fixing stuff. At any given time, there are usually three to four machines or cardio machines out of service. Not sure if that is standard for gyms.

Awesome gym, been a member since they opened. They have some weird policies, but have pretty much all the equipment you need to get your swole on.

WOW. I just realized this is the second negative review Ive gone out of my way to write up for this place. This is the last time I will be putting up with their horrible customer service and management. TWICE I made it extremely clear that I only wanted to pay for a month long membership because I am only in town for a short period of time. And TWICE they continued to charge me past the date my membership ended, including unmentioned $100 annual charges. They refuse to let you cancel or do anything unless you go in person during the very narrow hours that their manager happens to be there. Even after talking on the phone multiple times to different people and being told Id be called back, shocker, they still havent called me back to sort things out. Expect to be scammed, hung up on, lied to, and ignored.

I have experienced 2 incidents where I was pushed aside in the pool while I was swimming. This evening a man asked me to share a lane and I said that I couId not because I needed the middle of the lane to do the type of stroke I was doing. There clearly was not enough room for 2 people; however, the man proceeded in my lane. He was in my way and when I was doing exercises against the wall, he pushed me with his upper body because he wanted to swim against the wall also. I reported this 2nd incident to the staff and Im waiting to hear from the manager. This type of behavior is not acceptable. I hope I get satisfaction from the management. I cancelled my membership. the manager never called me. i joined another gym with a pool where there are lifeguards and no one has pushed me or forced himself in my lane. la does not care.

Are you kidding me? Where is Life Fitness acvipment? Why only this LA-gym from all the gym in the USA has ANCIENT StarTrack machines instead Life Fitness? StarTrack doesnt produce any more weight machines!!!

The place is ok. The pool is small. Theyd take care better and faster of the machines which dont work properly.Other then at the entrance, the employees could smile more and be more friendly

This gym has both major and minor repair and maintenance issues. Some of them are safety issues which could and should be immediately addressed. For instance, the toe clips on the clips in the Spinning Room are rusted. Many any so corroded they are not, or cannot be used by members! This is just dangerous. Lights are out and not repaired, weeks after being reported...one raquetball court has only one operating light panel. Again, this is a safety issue and members have repeatedly complained. On a nusiance level, the individual TVs on ALL the machines are just completely out. Every machine. Its been over two weeks and members are womdering if theyll ever be back.Staff is good, cheerful, and helpful when asked. Some instructors are helpful in classes. Weight equipment is good and usually not crowded. Ellipticals and treadmills are very dated, but they function and there are enough. Locker rooms, saunas, showers etc are clean and comfortable. Water fountains are located in good places but some just dribble. There is a smoothie bar and a pool, neither is ever very crowded in my experience.Bottom line, this could be a great gym, but it needs lots of attention to repairs and maintenance for the safety and enjoyment of members. In the push for Jan 1 membership, they are NOT the only game in town, and definitely not the best as things are right now!

People here are sweet and very helpful. The place is very clean. And it is next to the best Dunkin Donuts around.

Be aware!! A bunch of liers over there. When signing up, they always told you their printer is not working and they dont print the receipt for you. And they charge more than what they agreed to. Me and my friend we all had same experience. Trying to contact their customer service and was told the manager was not there( he seems always not there.) I cant believe the big company doing business like this way. Too BAD!
