This is one of my favorite tailor shops in the city. Ive brought several pieces to them and the finished product is always exactly what I wanted. They even lined my wool coat w/ a cozy quilted lining to make it cozy for cold days. Cant say enough nice things :)

The bright side of this challenging year has been discovering and supporting more local businesses in my neighborhood. Im so thrilled to have found Shopboy and am disappointed in myself that I hadnt found them sooner. The shop is chic and clean (booking online is seamless), the owners are so welcoming and the tailoring is impeccable. I tasked them with altering a complicated silk dress and it turned out exactly as I had pictured and truly fit my body like a glove. The dress has since received several compliments and when asked where I got it, it feels very special to know that its the only one of its kind thanks to working with Shopboy. Even if I end of leaving the neighborhood, I plan to return to. Thanks so much and looking forward to the next project!

After COVID hit I did a closet clear out and found several pieces that no longer fit. I came to Shopboy and had a lovely experience. The quality of their tailoring is first rate. Its a bit far for me to get to them but its worth the trip. Ive considered going to a more convenient tailor shop but end up not doing it because if I have something tailored, I want it done right. I took off one star because they are on the expensive side.

I absolutely loved this place! They were really nice and warm and personable and did exactly what I wanted for my jeans which had never fit me well but not fit me perfectly! Would absolutely recommend to a friend!

Desmond and Kendall are lovely people. Even more important, the do brilliant work. My wife and I both had several garments that we love to wear but that, for one reason or another, needed an adjusted hem here, an altered profile there, and so on. By making the garments fit perfectly, it was as if Shopboy increased our wardrobe by 20%. A really great shop with excellent work done by very nice folks - what more could you want!

Desmond and Kendall truly know what they are doing in regard to tailoring with style while providing great service. As a petite (not tall!) person, I used to go to Igacios uptown but now I bring all of my good labels to Shopboy.

They do good work here. I would say the pricing may be on the high side, but its fair and generally not well above market. Everything I had done there came back near perfect in terms of fit. I will be back.

*Blown away* by the quality.I brought in1 pair of leather pants: split at the crotch step, knee lining blown out, and unfinished at the hem -- basically NOT wearable anymore.1 pair of drawstring leisure pants I was gifted in size M (Im an XS): also unfinished and because they were so long, one of the heels had a rip.1 dress I bought in a size S: it might as well have been a size L.Results:Leather pants are wearable again.Leisure pants not only got fixed at the hem but the tailor also took in the the entire waistline and crotch step so they fit me perfectly (didnt ask for that, super impressed he pulled it off without measuring me.)And the dress? All I can say is WOW. No simple dart-and-stitch situation. They basically had to reconstruct the entire thing given what I needed (detach the bodice from the skirt, shrink the bodice, reattach to skirt w/o shrinking the skirt.) It was done superbly well.Will be back!Im not a review-leaver, but this place deserves all the praise it can get.

I brought in a very delicate silk vintage dress which was pulling apart in places around the hem, and I wasnt sure what could be done about it. But the re-hemming was beautifully done; it was obvious that much care and expertise was involved.
