Really really amazed by the quality of my alterations! Her work is so amazing I can’t even see where the adjustments were made. Also it was a quick turnaround time, available after a full day for 5 dresses! If you need any garment taken in from a larger size I highly recommend.

I was charged 60 dollars to hem a dress. The alteration was uneven and still too long. I can do many alterations myself, and ended up having to redo the work

Was searching for a nearby tailor and found Capriani’s on Google. I brought a pair of linen shorts and a Zara short-sleeve button-up shirt. When I returned to pick up my newly tailored clothes, I was happily surprised at the quality of stitching. Needless to say, I felt incredible in my perfectly fitted clothes. Big thank you. I’ll be dropping off more clothing real soon.

Bottom line, I would not recommend anyone come here to alter denim or jeans. I went to Caprianis because it was next to my apartment in order to hem 3 pairs of jeans and they were completely unsatisfactory. The length wasn’t as marked, which is not the biggest issue, but the bigger problem were that as skinny jeans the hem flared wide at the open. I paid $80 for the hem and then she wanted $135 to “fix” them. I was very nice when I explained but I still got an attitude that it was too bad I felt that it wasn’t right - I didn’t want to argue so I decided that I’d rather just take my business elsewhere. Maybe this tailor is good for other clothing but would not recommend for modern fit pants or jeans.

Called in advance to see if leather repair was possible. Arrived an hour later and the leather sewing machine was broken. Disappointment, especially in 2021.

Such a lovely experience here. The people working were so nice and attentive. They understood exactly what I was trying to do. Would definitely use them again.

Clothes are expensive, I tend to buy some lower end pieces because frankly, it’s a bargain. Of course I did my first “fast fashion order” and it all came in fitting horribly and looking horribly, a friend recommended me to go here so I dumped a bunch of stuff on them and OH MY GOD I was shocked. 6 pairs of pants, two blouses and a hoodie. They stitched all my culottes, took in the waists and hemmed them, one pair they even double layered the fabric without me asking because they said they “didn’t want to send something back that wasn’t good quality” they told me they’re a small business and coming from a family of small businesses I know how important reviews are, especially because they just opened. GO there, seriously I think I love my friend more just for recommending me.

Very kind and helpful. They were easy to accommodate my schedule. I brought in to suits and they were tailored impeccably. Loved how they on me. I was very disappointed to lose my two favourite tailors in the last year in my neighborhood, but think Caprianis will be able to fill the void and become my goto tailor.

I was referred to Caprianis from a friend as I needed to have 2 new pairs of jeans tailored with shorter inseams. In addition, I had a coat that I usually wear to work with a ripped pocket. I dropped my jeans and coat with them in the morning and they had it ready later in the afternoon for me to pick up. My jeans were tailored and pocket fixed like new. Even though it seemed like a simple job, the staff at Caprianis were very professional and straight to the point. I am very happy about the service I was provided!

Second time they have helped me out tailoring my pants and fixing a ripped jacket that I thought was impossible to fix. Definitely recommend. !

They did an amazing job on my favorite jacket, I got a horrible rip in the leather and they some how re stitched it and you can’t even tell anything happened! Fair pricing and super friendly front desk staff! They just opened and are offering 10% to all new clients! Go there! NOW!

I had an unfortunate tear on my lacrosse jersey, visited New York to see my best friend and she told me to find a tailor near by to get it fixed. Found Caprianis. They were super quick and really reasonably priced! My jersey is back to perfect and I cant thank them enough.

Caprianis, I cant say enough good things. I needed 5 pairs of pants pressed, hemmed and re stiched because I am interviewing all over the city! I stumbled across this shop and was greeted by a friendly husband and wife! I told them my predicament and they were happy to oblige! They said itd be about 5 days which was fine, 3 days later (today) I get a call and all of my pants are DONE! i tried them on and they fit perfectly and look amazing. They let me know they just opened and I just want to let you guys know I will be recommending you to everyone I can!!! Good luck guys and thank you again!

Very good service and quality job. I live 2 blocks away from Caprianis, and since I move here (around 2012) and never saw a tailor shop that provide such a good service. Thank you again for fixing my leather jacket!
