Was here a couple weeks ago and had the best haircut experience ever! Full hot towel shave and haircut package was fairly priced and so relaxing that I almost fell asleep. The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Maya cut my hair and knew the adjustments I needed. I was very well taken care of and wish I could come by all the time.

Came here for a haircut and shave, and I’m truly happy I did. The barbers were kind and courteous; not to mention good at their job. I even got a shot of whisky which was really nice. I came out happy with my look and would only go here in NYC. Awesome place!

Excellent barbershop with great prices! Yuriy is a gem; friendly, accommodating and a master of his craft. Ive been coming here for years. In the time of SuperCuts and Sport Clips its hard to find a reliable, charming barber but I found just that at Cut and Shave NYC.

I travel almost 2 hours from Jersey every 3 weeks to get my hair cut here. I literally have no words for the amount of confidence I get after my haircut. Yuriy the owner cuts my hair in a way that it looks stronger and healthier than it ever has in my life. It also grows better and better for each cut and truly makes you look and feel younger and sharper. I would recommend this barbershop 100% and cant ever imagine getting my haircut anywhere else now. This is the best barber shop by far in the area. I never bother to write reviews, but 4 days ago I got the best haircut of my life here. Only 25 bucks for my cut, too.My hair is still looking awesome thanks to their suggestions. Im sure you cannot go wrong with anyone there, but I had Olga cut my hair.Nothing feels forced here because this is their passion: natural conversations on your ongoing opinions about the cut as its happening; definitely no pressure to force small talk (if youre quiet like I am); they dont push products; they dont make you feel like a burden when youre really specific even midway through a cut; nice tips on how to keep it looking nice without spending money; they simply have real talent and skills; organically friendly vibe from nice people. The list goes on.Again, I never actually write reviews, but this place deserves one. I live around here and tried a bunch of other ones and this one is definitely the best. 100 out of 5 stars.

I’ve been coming to Cut and Shave for months because of their friendly team and great customer service! Julian cuts my hair and trims my beard with a precision unlike any other barber I’ve ever had! I come in every two weeks looking for him like clockwork and am always welcomed with a glass of whisky from someone on the team- an overall great barber shop experience!

My son needed a haircut prior to his communion and I found a Groupon for this barbershop. I made an appointment as directed online. Unfortunately I surgery and cannot walk yet, so I printed out a voucher and sent my husband with my son and voucher. I called the barber ahead of time to make sure everything was ok & I was treated with extreme disdain and unprofessionalism. The barber on the phone refused to take the voucher and was very argumentative. I asked for the manager, but he said there is only an owner, who supposedly was out of town. I am an ICU nurse and a native New Yorker....... Life is too short and love is in short supply. Please support the small businesses that continue to give the best with a smile....9/26 update, The owner was very responsive and I appreciate his attention, professionalism and understanding.

Amazing spot for perfect haircut. Good energy, AC on, chill music, not too big, not too small. The crew is adorable, following Olga for a long time, she does the best shading. They’re fast but take time for what you want. And you can digest your experience with free shots! Highly recommended!!

Im loyal to my barber Olga, and have followed her over the city for the last 7+ year. She recently joined Cut And Shave and I have to say I was hugely impressed by the setup. The place is spacious, and in addition everyone was incredibly friendly. My haircut was perfect as always, but Im really happy that Olga is now part of this team, as it makes for a hugely pleasant experience.

Phenomenal haircut and place. Came to visit from out of town and stumbled in. Great place, staff is friendly and welcoming and Yuriy provided a prime cut. Haven’t had a decent cut in a while, the only problem now is that I have to find someone that’s as good as Yuriy back home or fly back here every month or two to make sure my hair gets cut right, haha.

I used to go to Fellows on Horatio for years. A friend went here and I just happened to go in and Juan cut my hair. Hes great and what I like most is he takes his time and has great attention to details. Doesnt miss a thing. A better cut and beard trim than Fellows, and the ones like it.

Ive gone to ~6 different barber shops / mens salons in NYC and Cut & Shave NYC is hands down the best. Getting a good looking, contemporary haircut (my style) is tough to find in NYC, but Yuriy does it right and Ive gotten a ton of compliments on my haircut since I started going here. Also, the price is right at this place - $30 for a solid haircut in NYC is tough to beat.

This was a favorite barbershop, it appears to have changed hands and was closed for MONTHS for a renovation. They finally reopened and the prices JUMPED. What had been an $20 haircut was now $30 (after raising the prices $2 from $18-$20 just a few months before). This is an old school barbershop, and despite the renovation (that no one asked for, was unnecessary and now makes the room cold and harsh) its simply unfair to pass that remodel on to the customer, Ive also noticed that the place is kind of dead now. A sad bottle of Makers Mark sitting on the counter doesnt justify a $10 jump in price. Yuri wouldve have been much smarter to make it look like an old-time barbershop than have all that ugly white tile. BIG mistake and the business is suffering, the regulars went someplace else when you closed and paying $30 when you get buzzed once a month isnt worth it. SILLY!!
