George pays great attention to detail with his cuts!!

One of the very few barber shops in Chelsea that provides scissor cut. Many other barbers I experienced in the neighborhood only know about clipper and trimmer. The barber working here seems to be professionally trained and knows how to cut hair according to customers preferences and conditions. The service is quite efficient and effective, and the store is clean and tidy. Credit card is accepted here. Price for a regular cut has raised from $23 to $25 by August 2019. Slightly pricey.

Just got another amazing haircut by George. So good I had to write a review! I have been getting my haircut with George for the last 9 years and with good reason. My hair isn’t easy to cut for most barbers and George just understands how to get the right fade and the right shape. He really understands how to work with hair and make you look your best. Highly recommended!!!

The location is convenient: only a brief walk from the #1, C, and E trains and very close to the 23rd Street crosstown bus. The shop is unpretentious and not noisy as some places can be. I have been coming here for the past two years where George is my barber. He is laid-back, friendly, attentive, meticulous, patient, precise and is a highly skilled professional. He never rushes, taking the time to provide the perfect haircut. It is clear that George takes pride in his work. I highly recommend giving Chelsea Grand Barber Shop a try!

The best Barber in NY!I stumbled into this barber shop when I first moved to NY and immediately became a loyal customer.George, the owner, is one of the best if not the best barber I have ever had.Skilled, efficient and honest… what more can you ask for?This shop is no frills, but what it lacks in fluff, it more than makes up for in terms of quality by simply giving out great haircuts.In fact, I don’t want to move out of the neighborhood. I finally found the best one here at Chelsea Grand Barber.George gives the best haircut and it is always consistent. He is attentive, professional and courteous. The shop is clean and quiet. I look forward to me bi-weekly visit.

It little overpriced for haircut for $25. I came around 12:30pm on Friday it was dead, I was the only client he took him about 7-10 min to give me haircut super fast. Not to mention he did not gave proper shape up. I would not recommend this place. I recommend to go corona barber plus.

Excellent haircut! I sit in the chair and without a word George cuts my hair. He knows me by name and by clipper sizes! I started going to this barber shop when I lived in Chelsea over 10 years ago and I now travel 1 hour one-way every 2 weeks. Ive tried other places, but its not worth saving travel time for a bad haircut. I highly recommend the place for someone who wants a no nonsense haircut without the fancy flair that is popping up all over the city.
