Not bad, but they took a big uneven chunk off the left side even though I had clearly communicated as best I could that it was short enough on that side. You need to be very very specific about what you want and I guess even then its not quite enough. The people seem nice but distracted by one another and barely said more than a couple sentences to me. Will most likely not be going back unless dire circumstances.

We were in the neighborhood and my boyfriend came in on a whim for a hot shave and they could take him immediately. Everyone was so nice and they did an awesome job. He looks clean and fresh!

Sam is the best in the business for haircuts. Before I switched over to Sam, I used the same person for almost 10 years, was nervous about the change to someone new but Sam does an amazing job every time. If you do not use him, please start to do so. He listens to everything you say and what you want done and he executes every time and remembers what you want each time you come back. Very COVID friendly set up and takes all necessary precautions to ensure everyone is safe.

I moved to Kips bay two years ago and have been to several barber shops around the area before discovering this place. This is my favorite barber shop and have been going here every three weeks since. Sam does a great job and haircuts here are a great value at only $20.Definitely would recommend this place for anyone looking for a new barber. Their store location is a little hidden so look for the bright lights or the big Barber shop sign.

Classic Barbershop NY has been my go-to place for over a year now and I couldnt be happier. Sam always makes sure all his clients are taken care of and get exactly what they want. He makes himself available whenever you are in a pinch and will open early or stay late if that means he leaves with one more satisfied customer. Great fade, I’m always happy with the result. I started coming here because it was close to my office. Haven’t been in the office due to covid but I still travel here from Brooklyn to get a fresh fade.I’ve also been cutting my own hair for years because I’m very picky with the look I’m going for.
