Amazing haircut! Stopped paying $90 for my upscale salon cuts when I’m getting the same cut here at a better value. $22 for a cut and they are polite and generous to accommodate whatever you’d like. Definitely coming back!

I was looking for the best barber near me in Times Square and if you’re like me you dive into reviews for assistance. Brand New Cuts was a number one option and I’m glad it was, I read nothing but good reviews for the shop and even better reviews for my hair stylist Angela. She is sweet person and attentive to whatever you would like and makes awesome conversation. I got the cut that I wanted exactly (I can be picky) but Angela made me feel so relaxed and laid back. Whenever I’m in the area, Angela would be my go to stylist again & again.

I discovered this place by chance and was not disappointed. Will certainly come back. Angela was attentive and professional. I appreciated how she would ask before changing anything. She made sure Im getting what I want. Also, a pleasant conversation and as a result I went out in an uplifted mood.

Absolutely loved this place and the staff, did a great great job! King David is not only the man, but quite quite talented! He showed me the optical illusion that happens when you cut more hair, it sometimes looks like you have more, when youre balding. It gave me a great great day! Thank you everyone!

My wife and I came to the city for a weekend getaway. I needed a haircut and this place was walking distance from our hotel in Times Square. I called and a very friendly woman told me to come on by so we went. I was immediately impressed by the barbers. I could tell they were artists that took great pride in their work. I was lucky to get Ozzie and he was amazing. He took his time. Other customers came and I worried that he might rush in order to get to the next customer but he never did. I am super happy with the cut and I plan on making this my regular spot. Super affordable and spectacular results from good people that immediately seem like old friends. HIGHLY recommend! You will NOT be disappointed.

Best barbershop in midtown! All barbers are friendly and professional, and Angela is a real gem; as skilled with scissors and clippers as she is warm and fun with conversation. Almost to 10 on my loyalty card!

Just moved to New York a few months ago. Needed to find a place to get my hair cut like back home, and I could not be happier with the cut I got from Rafael. He knows what hes doing, and clearly has plenty of experience. Not too expensive either for New York as it was only $28 for a cut.

Had a great cut at the shop. I grew my hair out and was looking for a new barber. Made a reservation but not needed on sunday at 5 pm. I walked in and was seated immediately. The place was clean. My barber, David, was friendly, experienced (over 30 yrs in Manhattan), and did a great job. Without much directions and my unruly hair, he styled my hair effortlessly.I will be returning in the near future.

One story up the stairs, its easy to find. The place is clean and open and has a lot of sun with a nice view of the people on the street. Ozzy is a great barber and makes you feel welcome and comfortable. He takes his time and is methodical. At $25 for a basic cut, its comparable to other barbers in the area.

Was a nice hair cut but $120!! Had a wash, cut and blow dry so was expecting a little expensive but wasn’t given any indication of price, no ladies price lists up and really felt taken advantage of because I am not from around there and they could tell, felt like the bumped up prices massively because I’m British!! Not pleased...:/ wouldn’t return!

I get a standard high fade with a scissor cut and you have no idea how often Ive had a barber mess up the fade line, leave long strands close to the top or where I cant see it or somehow manage to mess up my hair/neck line. Not here. Great cut, now wait on a Thursday afternoon and cool view over the street. The barber was friendly and easy to talk to. Would definitely come back and I dont even live in the city.

I came here today to get a much needed haircut. Ive been to literally 30 different barbers and have never been completely satisfied with a haircut. I always end up having to tell the barber at the end to fix a few things here and there, even then I would still have to go home to fix the cut myself. But today I was lucky enough to get Ozzie who took great care of me. He was clearly good at what he does, very knowledgeable, gentle, and actually took his time with the cut even though I came towards closing time. Im sure everyone here is great, but I can guarantee Ozzie wont disappoint. Unfortunately I am just here for the week from Florida but I am debating on coming back next month just to get a haircut from Ozzie.

I asked to have my beard shaped and lined and explicitly stated several times that I didn’t want it any shorter. What I got was a chopped-up uneven mess that took off about one month of growth - more or less depending on the spot. Then, I had to take about another month of growth off to correct it myself. The long, short: nice staff, decent hair cuts and prices but will not be back because of the beard trim.

Got a haircut from Lucy for the first time. Best haircut (fade haircut) Ive gotten in NY. She was very nice and I received great hospitality from everyone who works there. My new go-to spot now. Highly recommend.

Cuts wayyyy too short asked for a trim came out prepared for the military. I hope you know cutting less is better than cutting more. At least ask if you’re not sure what I want.

I live in the neighborhood so I decided to give this place a try, since the price is significantly lower than what I usually pay for a decent haircut ($22). The people there are incredibly polite and professional. What struck me the most is how much attention they give on trying to give you exactly the haircut you want. I havent been more satisfied with a barbershop before; I strongly recommend this place.

I’m glad I find this barber shop Victoria did a great job. She is very experienced and she knows how to cut hair because I have very difficult hair and for a lot of barbers is a challenge but not for her she did amazing work. Make sure when you walk in to Brand new cut to ask for Victoria.

Angela finished me up in 20 min after I very briefly described what I want - 2 on the sides and back, two finger fade, thin out the top and make it lay right. She did a fabulous job, the site is easy to get to, and everyones friendly. Next time Ill come later in the day and take advantage of the vodka offer!

Solid work for a very fair price. All the people are very nice and kind, especially Juan who cut my hair in a very professional way while chatting a bit about this and that. I felt very comfortable and Im happy with the result after I was a bit anxious to find a good hairdresser in NYC.

1st of all the place is Clean and Fresh..all neat. I a received a good welcome form Abbas.good hospitality and most of all satisfied with my haircut (skin fade). I just walked out of my haircut and will not be going back. 4 people went in and out of their haircuts while I waited for Yuri to cut my hair. He took SO long, perhaps the longest haircut I’ve ever had. On top of it, he spent about 40 min on the sides of my head, and when I told him I had to leave, he sped up and spent 3 min on the rest. My haircut does not look good and I will have to go somewhere else just to have it fixed.I’m always cautious of entering this place because they’re not the most cleanly and they do a mediocre job, but this was the last straw where I felt compelled to write a review.

I may have finally found a barbershop worth going out of my way for! Im the kind of guy who normally gets his haircut at whatever place happens to be closest to me at the time, but I had a great experience here and will definitely come back! Angela was super nice and friendly without being too too chatty (I hate fake seeming small talk) and gave me the best haircut I have had in years. As a guy with rapidly thinning hair, a haircut that makes me feel like it looks good is worth its weight in gold. I was on my way to the gym, so I didnt take them up on their offer of a shot of vodka, but knowing its available is an additional incentive :-)

I finally found a barbershop, where they have it all. Excellent service, beautiful shop, and affordable prices in the middle of Times Square. Go to either Angela, Tommy or Kongu, they will take good care of you, and give you the best haircut you ever had. It does get busy during peak hours, so try to go in earlier, and they will take you in fast. This place is 5 stars!!!!!

Totally disappointed. after the first visit of the master Victor liked everything: the manner of work, pre-washing of the head, a lot of questions about the style and preferences, accurate work. second visit was the opposite of the back. so awful I did not cut ever. the absolute lack of professionalism. I had to enroll in an expensive hair salon there to try to fix this nightmare.

Had the worst experience of getting a haircut at this place. It started when this Russian lady I had was barely cutting my hair. I had to remind her twice to cut more. I am there to get a Hair Cut. Then when she was cleaning my lines, I swear it felt like I was getting struck by a needle. It was the most Painful experience Ive ever gone through. Before I left, she then offered me a shot of vodka. Probably tried to think that will try to make up for it. When I left, there were patches of hair she didnt properly cut and my back neck and forehead was in so much pain. I have red marks to prove it. DO NOT COME HERE.

Brand New Cuts yep!!!!! You will get a brand new face....!!! I went to this place because of their really good reviews but never again !!! They knew the guy that cut my hair screwed up that’s why David tried to fix it but still bad... I’m just really disappointed $22.60 to the garbage & on top of that I spent over 1 hour and 30 mins in that place trying to fix it.
