Ive been going to Manny since moving to the neighborhood. He is funny, straightforward, and most importantly meticulous in his craft. He tells me that I have an unruly cowlick (I do) and spends extra time every session figuring out how to get it just right / teaching me how to style accordingly. Always a great haircut, and very reasonably priced for good barbershops in the neighborhood. Highly recommended.

This is a true gem. I have had our blond 12 year old son to several hairdressers and barbers, but did not think the haircuts were good, even at high end salons. We then planned to visit NYC and found this barber. Our son is so happy and so am I. Best haircut experience I’ve had in any of the five boroughs. The attention to comfort and atmosphere is second only to the attention to detail on your cut. I experienced a level of craftsmanship usually reserved to places 3 even 4 times the price - never before has a barber catered to the nuance of every curl and cowlick on my whole crown! Just went in today. Like many people I was cutting my own hair while businesses were closed. However, I had no clue what I was doing. Manny was able to show me where I went wrong, make some recommendations to fix it, and ultimately get me exactly the look I wanted. He was not pretentious, will engage in as much or as little conversation as you want, is knowledgeable, and was extremely committed to making sure I was happy. I recommend you give him a chance to be your barber.

Manny is the best. One of the few places I would break quarantine to go to.Guy charges a fair price, keeps a clean shop and is friendly. On top of all that he gives an absolutely killer cut. Im Asian so finding a good barber is tough - never worried about going to see him.The shop doesnt have a lot in terms of frills and ambience, but after you get a cut youll understand why. I have been coming to see Manny for six months now, and he consistently provides a fantastic haircut. I had no appointment and got a cut immediately with a walk in. Emmanuel gave me an amazing cut and also shared some really useful styling tips with me that no other barber has ever offered to share. I had the best haircut and hot towel shave at Best in Class Barbershop that I’ve gotten in a very long time. Old style barbershop with modern flair, along with top class treatment. I felt like I was the most important client when I was in the chair. Try the shave, it was baby smooth at the end, my wife even gave me a kiss!!

Best hair cut you can get for the price, hands down! Manny is like a surgeon with hair, he takes his time and doesn’t settle for anything less than perfection. I’m incredibly happy that I have found a great barber and a shop with a calm atmosphere. It’s a $100 level haircut you can get for $30.

Walked past here a few times shortly after it opened and thought I’d give them a try when it was time for a shave and haircut. Very pleased with hot lather head shave and hot towel face shave. Came back again and had the same. Just as pleased and this is now my go to barbershop.

Saw that the shop was new in the area and decided to check it out since it was more convenient for me. Honestly, probably the best haircut I’ve ever gotten. I usually get a skin-fade with a short combover on top and you usually feel stubble, but with this barber, all I felt was skin. Imagine that: asking for a skin-fade and actually getting a skin fade! 10/10 recommend. You will not be disappointed. This is my go-to now.

Yeah, terrific guy and shop. A visitor in the big city, I happened to see Emanuels sign just after hed closed (9 p.m. that night) and poked my head in to ask when he opened in morning. He said you need a cut? come on it, Ill do it now. Beautiful job, just about as good as Ive ever had--and I have a serious head of hair (in all modesty).

This is a new barber shop in the area and my first time visiting. The gentleman who serviced me name is Manny. He was very friendly and made feel comfortable the minute I walked into the shop. I have lower back issues and usually I feel some discomfort while getting a haircut but this was not the case here. Quite possibly the best haircut I’ve received in NY and possibly my entire life. My hair grows in very odd ways so I almost never leave a barber shop satisfied. Emmanuel, however, took his time, evaluated the quirks of my head and gave me *exactly* what I was looking for.I’ve tried almost all the other spots in the Soho area, and while I think they’re decent, they always felt very cookie-cutter-y, and this place is miles ahead in terms of craftsmanship, and attention to detail. For the quality of work I received here, I was expecting to dish out close to $100 but I was shocked, and somewhat confused when I was charged less than 1/3 of that. The entire experience and end result was absolutely sublime and I couldn’t be more satisfied.
