Going to Lello-Barbiere in NYC, is a true experience! I have been in USA over 20 years and I NEVER (!!!) found a true barber like Lello. He is amazing. Everytime I walk into his shop I feel traveling in time to when my Grandpa used to take me to cut my hair in italy. He is professional, makes an amazing Mint Scent to refresh your hair and beard. Uses scissors like no other. I cant express how grateful I am to have found Lello! The Best of All Barbers!!!
I’ve been going to Barbiere for several years as it was close to my office. Lello is very talented and does a fantastic job with my hair. He’s a master at his craft and you sense that from the first cut. The price is very reasonable as well. Even after the pandemic hit and now that I’m working from home, I’m still traveling downtown to have my hair cut by Lello.
Its the best barber Ive ever been to.
Wonderful service and people luie is the best
Anthony is the best barber I’ve ever had. Not only does he give great haircuts, but he talks to you when you feel chatty and doesn’t when you don’t, has great recommendations for food in the neighborhood, and plays great music at a good low level. And I trust him completely with my hair. With the great service, hot towel, and complementary whiskey if you’re in the mood, it’s actually a real bargain, at least for that neighborhood.
I came in with my friend who got his hair and beard cut by Anthony. Anthony did a great job and was super meticulous. Everyone in the shop was really friendly and we both had a great time. Highly recommend!
Great cut, great vibe, great price!
Anthony is the best barber in NYC, great attention to detail, takes his time and does his best to make sure you are happy with your haircut! Highly recommend!
Best cut downtown. Period. Make sure you book with Lello.
Anthony has been my barber for a couple years now. He is the absolute best in NYC—great cuts, efficient but always pays attention to detail. Friendly and chill.
One of the best hair cuts Ive ever gotten. Joy was very nice, they offered a drink right when I got in. The cut she did was stylish and modern without going to far. The hot towel was fantastic, their music playlist was also right on the spot.
Best Barber shop in the city
The best. First time I went we spoke 2 words and he gave me the best haircut. Im a regular now. O yea, free whiskey too.
Classy, professional, and stylish. My professional actually cared about how I looked and went at my hair with an artistic approach. Best haircut Ive gotten in a while.
I walked in for a haircut a few days ago and was rushed from the start. The guy who cut my hair had a tenuous grasp of english--but what did I care, since after all the best haircuts Ive ever had were given through a language barrier. This is New York, after all. That said, he really seemed to have understood what I wanted, which was a basic mens haircut. Reader, let me tell you, he did not. Or, if he did, he was not capable of delivering it. He cut my hair way too short, and unevenly. He is not skilled with a razor. I would not trust this man to shear a lamb let alone come near a human head.Parts of my temples feel short like a 6 oclock shadow, whereas other parts are longer. It looks like he wanted to give me a skin fade and then gave up (why he thought Id want that in the first place is beyond me). Ive got a ton of flyaways at the nape of my neck, which he failed to cut away. It just looks sloppy. He also scraped my neck with the razor, and Ive still got red marks. My hair doesnt sit flat because it was cut unevenly. This was the worst haircut Ive had in a decade, and the worst part was that he charged 40 dollars. My usual barber charges 20 dollars, but hes on vacation. Honestly if I had paid by card Id be contemplating a chargeback. It just pains me to think that for half the price I could have gotten a haircut ten times better. Save yourself the trouble and go to E 6 Barber Shop just one block away.
Anthony the barber is the best barber in NYC. He has been cutting my hair since I was in my 20s. Definitely the goto barber in NY.
Anthony is a master at his craft. Amazing & consistent work. This is the only place Ive had my hair cut for 5yrs now.
Best Barbershop in town, if you are looking for an italian style cut!
Dope spot. Barber friendly and does a great job with whatever request you throw at him. I’ll be back
Excellent work for great prices, youll be happy you gave Barbiere a shot.
Good haircut and a proper beard trim are hard to find making this place a gem.
My favorite Italian barber Lello.
Staff was friendly and my man Lello gives an incredible cut and shave. Definitely going to be a repeat customer.
I bought Lapin a gift certificate to this barbershop for haircut, shave and a face treatment. When we made the appointment, there was a bit of miscommunication as they didnt have enough time to do all three services in one go. Lapin liked the haircut Sophia gave but felt a bit rushed. She also didnt wash his hair. Its the first place we ever went too, that didnt do a wash. He did like the shave and face treatment. The only thing he didnt like about the face treatment was that the clay mask made his face feel tight afterwards. We usually apply a toner or lotion after doing a mask and we ended up going to Sephora to buy some facial lotion for him. They also serve Bourbon, Whiskey, Ice Tea, Coffee and tap water to enjoy. It was an nice experience but it was a bit pricey and felt a bit rushed.
Duval is the best. awesome place. perfect cut.
A cut above the discount barber shops! Full-service treatment (I got a haircut and beard trim). Comes with the large shot of Jameson (around 3 ounces). Cash only.
Nice place
The only place I get my haircut in New York
Lello is not only a teacher, but he is a wonderful person. Going to his salon is a fantastic time, where with his friendliness and professionalism one has a good time.Lellone say hello to Anthony and omanager 👍🏻
