Great service and care! I missed my appointment because I arrived 30 minutes late, but I was able to schedule another appointment later that day. They send several text reminders about your upcoming appointment and will even call you if you’re running late. Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful. They explain every procedure and teach you how to take the best care of your teeth. The rooms are comfortable and have two TVs one being on the ceiling so you can watch even when you’re getting your teeth cleaned. Before I knew it everything was done, and my next appointment was already scheduled. If you don’t like dentist visits, try this place and you might even enjoy yourself!

I never write reviews, but this deserved my time. I had a scheduled appointment for over a month as a new client for a cleaning. The dentist assigned to me upon arrival wasn’t the Dentist I had been scheduled with. After finishing my x-rays and a brief oral exam, I was told to remain in the lobby because there was an issue getting a hygienist for me. I waited for over an hour to then be taken to the back and be seated for a cleaning. I asked the employee how long will I be sitting here for because everyone seems to be dragging me around and trying to elude what’s actually happening. She said I understand and would feel the same way as you, the truth is the hygienist doing you is about to start on another client and it will be 40+ minutes before she’ll get to you. The employee was unaware why the issue was occurring and I was in their system scheduled, but she asked if I wanted to reschedule. I said I’ve waited over a month for this appointment, I’ve been here for hours, and this is unprofessional so I’ll be finding a different dentist.

Dr. Setti was friendly and efficient. I could not ask for a more positive experience! Stephanie is great too. Rachel is the best. Just all around professionalism and outstanding patient care.

I have been to a lot of dentist office but this office went above and beyond. You can tell they care about their patients. I dont have dental insurance and they have plans to work with patients who dont have insurance. Their office is clean, professional, and their staff is attentive. This is the new dentist I will be going to from here on out!

Initial phone inquiry was friendly, courteous, and informative.Sign-in was simple though thorough along with a very short wait time.The actual procedure was one the best and most pleasant dental experiences Ive ever had, Dr. Alice has the midas touch in a velvet glove along with assistant Sonjas calming reassurances made for such a breeze of a root canal I actually dozed off during a procedure I initially dreaded getting done. Receptionists and x-ray tech was warm, friendly, and polite. Jan(I think, billing lady) was very nice, thorough, and informative in the billing/payment process. The whole establishment literally exceeds the Exceptional in the name.....I rate my experience at 15⭐s out of 10⭐s(yes, you read that right). I very highly recommend Exceptional Dental for an exceedingly Exceptional dental treatment and experience.Excellent.

She was informative, caring, and had very good bed side manners. She doesn’t yank on ya mouth like some. She talked w me through the process of my deep cleaning and made sure that I felt no pain during this process. She comes highly recommended. Ask for Jennifer when you arrive to Exceptional Dental. Love Exceptional. They have been my choice for almost 4 years now. Staff is very friendly. The facilities are pristine. I always seem to get into my appointment ON TIME. They have TVs on the wall and ceiling in in every room and offer blankets and a warm pillow for your neck. What more can you ask for?! On top of that, my dentist and hygienist know me and make me feel comfortable each time. I only wish they still had Saturday appointments, but maybe post covid that will be a reality again. The one thing that can be a pain is parking. Just depends on the day and time. It’s a busy little area so just make sure you give yourself time for that. Highly recommend.

My hygienist is the best there is hands down. EverybodyMakes you feel comfortable and relaxed. I have a very strong gag reflex, but Jen my hygienist, knows just how to take my X-rays with no problem. The doctors are awesome as well.

Exceptional Dental MC is great! They rescheduled my appointment that was missed due to Hurricane Ida very quickly. Katie updated my insurance before I even arrived and the entire appointment only took about an hour. Everyone was very friendly and professional.

What a wonderful visit. The office is really nice and everyone is so great. Dr. Alice was exceptional and patient. She takes her time with making sure you understand your opinions. Troy Lynn her assistant was so pleasant and Mary Laura the hygienist was calming and gentle. Wish I would have found them long time ago. I recommend this place and you should ask for Dr Alice. 🥰🥰

Dr.Alice is amazing and very patient. Now this may sound biased because I do work here, but she just recently removed my wisdom teeth for me and made it such an enjoyable experience. I was honestly a little nervous because I’ve never had any teeth extracted but she made sure I didn’t feel a thing and was totally comfortable the entire procedure! And on top of that, she was super quick with removing them. Oh and i can’t forget to mention her wonderful assistant Stephanie who helped distract me as Dr.Alice was administering local anesthesia. They both talked to me during the procedure and let me know what they were doing so I really felt included. Dr.Alice followed up with me after the procedure to see how I was feeling as well. She really does care and goes above and beyond for her patients and I love that about her!

Jenn is the best and is always providing helpful tips and explanations for how I can better care for my teeth. Shes very attentive. All of the staff in general is very friendly and accommodating.

Exceptional is the exact word to describe Dr Alice Ho. As a relative newcomer to New Orleans I had been searching for a dentist who might meet the high standards of my late DDS father. Dr Alice exceeds all expectations. Her expertise, meticulous dental artistry, compassionate chair-side manner and authentic concern for patient well-being is extraordinary... the professional and proficient staff also deserves praise. Dr Alice and her staff also provided excellent emergency dental care for my 91 year old mother during her recent visit to New Orleans.

Horrible. They couldnt tell me if the dentist or hygienists was vaccinated....and then charged me $50 for canceling my appointment. I think its safe to say my health is not their primary concern. Highly recommend not entrusting them with your health.

Very thoughtful and caring dental practice. I have a history of bad dentist experiences, and luckily this was not one of them. The one thing that bothered me was the extremely loud TV in the waiting room, which at both visits was airing QVC. Seemed unnecessary.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Shina (sorry if I spelled it wrong), Evelyn, Heather and Dr. Adragna. Each one of them made sure I was comfortable and aware of all the steps in my dental process.

VISIT: December 2018I found myself on a vacation with a toothache. I tried not to say anything at first but after awhile I just couldn’t pretend anymore. I bought ibuprofen and orajel and was using it like water. It helped at first and then it didn’t and the pain was unbearable. We were in a unfamiliar city and state but I needed to see somebody.RECEPTIONIST - I googled and found Exceptional. I called and the receptionist was super nice, understanding and helpful. She didn’t tell me they were booked. She told me they WOULD squeeze me in.QUOTE - They quoted us $29 for an exam and about $1,000 for a root canal (as I thought I might need one).CHECK-IN - The staff acknowledged us as we came in and after filling out five minute registration electronically, I was welcomed to the dentist office.OFFICE - The office was modern, inviting and friendly.DENTISTS & SERVICE - I saw Dr. Russo, who was superb. She listened to my situation and tried to identify which tooth was causing me the pain. At this point everything hurt and it was hard to tell. She advised against root canal at this point as we couldn’t identify the tooth with a 100% certainty and we had no x-ray baseline to see changes from before. She advised healing the infection with antibiotic first and see my home dentist once that cleared. I am so glad we did that because the antibiotics helped. Dr. Russo was patient, kind and very professional. She really took the time even though we weren’t originally scheduled.PRICE - I paid $29 for the entire visit and five x-rays and the office sent me an electronic copy of my x-rays to my email so that I could share it with my home dentist. I was a self-paid patient. It was a very good price for the service.

Tried to get them to verify my insurance for a week. They could never get a price and I received the run around. I was on hold just trying to get the uninsured price for a cleaning. Maybe they already have an established clientele but luckily I found someone who is a little more readily able to take care of the business.

This was my third visit at Exceptional Dental at the Bienville location. Dr. Setti had me in fir impressions for a mouth guard. He was wonderful and the staff was as well. I was in and out within an hour. As usual, Asia checked me out before leaving and she was so sweet and pleasant. She is wonderful to deal with in the office and on the phone.

I needed an emergency evaluation for a possible root canal. From my initial phone call, the paperwork with reception when I arrived (they saw me within 30 minutes!), my time with the dental assistant and then consultation with Dr. Alice, everyone was great! Very appreciative of Dr. Alices keen intellect and evaluation of my situation.

I went in today for an emergency visit and they were able to give me a filling today! Even better, the visit was covered on my Smile Plan and I received 10% of my filling! Dr. Setti is the bomb :) and his assisant Bri was very nice and professional :)

My husband came in for first consultation for extensive dental work. I specifically asked to be included in consultation with doctor but was not called back. He asked too and was told that the doctor would tell the consultation clerk the status and she would talk with both of us. This is not acceptable to me. She was very nice but if WE are investing $30k or in that neighborhood for dental work, I expect to be able to also meet with the doctors. We have another appointment to come back in May to see Dr. Mousa. If I am not allowed to be in a meeting with him and my husband I would like to know in advance so we can find somewhere else to go. I’m an integral part of his care and we need to go where it’s understood that this is a joint undertaking and decision.

My first visit was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and inviting. The facility is clean with state of the art equipment; very modern aesthetic. The young lady who took my x-rays walked me through each capture. The dentist was very warm and personable. My hygenist, Jennifer is awesome! She explained the whole procedure and what I should do to keep my mouth healthy. Overall, it was a great first visit and impression. They came highly recommended by my husband!

I should never have stayed with this office. All they care about is making money. Today the office manager told me due to “ COVID and HIPPA” policies I could not stay with my minor child and “for protection of her staff and patients” I could not be there. Really? You’re in a separated area, but they are not private. I’ve been treated and the doctors and staff talk so loud I can here everything being discussed around me. If they are concerned about HIPPA why do they discuss treatment plans at the front counter in front of everyone in the waiting room. I also find most white people in the south can be very derogatory when they speak to a black person. They need to be reminded of policy re: supervision of minors at medical offices.

Nothing other than exceptional service is what I received! I was able to call and get the work I needed done on the same day. Dr. Adragna and assistant Ally were phenomenal.

I started looking for another dentist after mine didn’t reopen after the pandemic lockdown last year. I briefly went to Dumas Dentistry, but it’s tough to get on their schedule. So, after much research, I settled on Exceptional.My initial visit was fine. As a new patient they took plenty of x-rays. The dental assistant was initially dry, but she warmed up. Dr. Setti examined my mouth and said I had no cavities or other major issues, but then he stated that I needed a crown because the filling (resin) on one tooth was breaking down. I had been reluctant to try a new dentist because I was afraid they would recommend treatment I didn’t need. My two previous dentists made no mention of me potentially needing a crown. After I told the consultant that I would get a second opinion, she convinced me to go through with the procedure because, according to her, my tooth could crack at any time.So, I’ll preface the following experience by saying that I really don’t know if I needed a crown right now. Maybe eventually, but I’m not certain. I think a second opinion would have provided more insight.With that said, I came in today (my 2nd visit) to start the crown work. Stephanie, the assistant, was awesome. I can’t say enough positive things about her. She was amazing. Firstly, she was hilarious. She would say something in a different voice similar to a character on tv. It’s difficult to explain. She was thoughtful and personable. Stephanie offered me a warm neck pillow that I’m going to search for on Amazon. It was so soothing. She was also professional and honest. Authentic would be a great word to describe her. She shared some personal information, but she’s just an all around cool person. What impacted me the most was that she patted my arm while the doctor injected the anesthetic. No one has ever done that in the 45 years I’ve been going to the dentist. The patting reduced my anxiety. I didn’t feel the two injections, but the sight of the humongous needle makes me anxious. Thanks Stephanie!! More assistants should do this.Dr. Setti was great, too. He didn’t say too much compared to my initial visit, but he was professional and gentle. The procedure lasted about an hour and everything went well. On my initial visit, though, Dr. Setti gave me a thorough examination and described my overall dental health. I look forward to getting my permanent crown.The interior office space is beautiful. It’s definitely one of the more lavish dental offices I’ve been to. The tv in the waiting area, however, is mounted on the same wall that most of the seats are lined against, so you can’t watch tv while you wait. They do have a mini fridge filled with water bottles, which is a nice touch. It appears many offices are adopting this simple, but impactful amenity.I think the neck pillow, the patting while I was being injected and the extensive equipment they have available exceeded my expectations and sets them apart from many practices in the New Orleans area.

I absolutely hate going to the dentist and I’ve had major dental appointment fear until today. Dr. Adragna fixed my crown that fit poorly with mad skill! It was a longer than usual procedure but between his precision, ninja- like skills giving the numbing injection and compassion I was completely at ease! Rae his assistant was an angel and has superior professionalism! A bonus, they both have an outstanding sense of humor that can lighten the mood of any neurotic chicken in the city! I find it very frustrating that I made an appointment for my children to go here and was told upon arriving that I was not allowed to go in the back with them. They are six and seven years old and I am not comfortable with sending them into a room with strangers. Complete waste of my time

I went into get one tooth looked at and with the extensive work up of X-ray, CT, and visual; it was determined I needed more than I thought I needed. Stephanie at exceptional dental of mid-city made it where for the first time in 40 years I was able to do bite wing xrays without being sick. Everyone was extremely kind and patient and for the first time i really dont dread my future dental visits.

Had a visit with Dr Setti and his assistant Rae today for an exam. They were wonderful and my visit was pleasant even though it was super busy and I had to wait a bit. I will be returning for another visit soon and looking forward to it.

I went in for a consultation with Dr.Moussa. I was having an issue that was distressing. Dr. Moussa did a very thorough examination and gave me several options. I think he saw that I really wanted this taken care of, to my surprise he offered to do the procedure right then. I felt so comfortable with the staff and Dr. Moussa that I didn’t hesitate to say do it…

I’ve had a phobia about dentistry since childhood. The hygienist Mary Laura, who has done my deep cleaning, is just excellent. The procedures were completely painless. Her calm manner & efficiency were very welcome; & the result a great relief.Mary Laura, and of course Dr Stetti & his highly competent dental assistants have been truly exceptional.

I came in for a routine cleaning and was berated for having crooked teeth. Listened to two sales pitches from different people about invisalign even though I didnt ask. Then after saying I wasnt interested I was told, You should fix it now since you have a mask. Who knows how much longer youll have that. As in what I should be ashamed to not cover my face because my teeth arent straight? Then she said, I wont even go there. I said, What is it? She said there was discoloring because my teeth are crooked and I need to fix it with a $600 toothbrush. Wont be back. The woman who said that has long brown hair, short, maybe green eyes, and thin eyebrows. Working cleaning teeth at 4 pm on Wednesday.

Everyone was great from the receptionists, the hygienists, the x-ray tech, to the dentist! I would highly recommend this office. I would just suggest updating their bedside x-ray equipment; not that I know much about the equipment but it looked old and was unreliable when during my session.

Outstanding Job!! The staff at Exceptional Dental in Midcity is always so respectful, professional, and courteous. Each time I am made to feel like I am the most valuable customer there. Most importantly, I trust the staff because they know what they are doing and their work speaks for itself.

Came in for a check up on a tooth pain. The staff were all friendly. Dr.Setti saw me and was professional and showed kindness and empathy. Ayshia Acker is amazing and left a great impression. She went above and beyond to help me out with all my questions. She was very patient in helping me understand how the treatment plan is gonna go and helped me work out care credit for my payment. She helped ease my worries and stress. This place really is “exceptional”.

Today I had a cleaning performed by Carol who was assisted by Stephanie. I cannot praise these two ladies highly enough. For friendly and courteous service and painless hygiene, you cannot go wrong with these two.

I went for an extraction and a partial denture as a new patien and a honest person this place is nice but the people horrible, my denture keep falling out by just taking and I went back for 2 separate visits to get it adjusted and the last visit the doctor told me that my expectations are too high and implant was the way to go, they dont talk to you with respect and their services are more like a training exercise than professionals, if you dont want to be a guessing game with your health stay away from this place, as their is a living god am speaking the truth, they are unprofessional and shabby in their actions.

I am a patient of Dr Adragna. Throughput the process of my treatment he has been transparent with my treatment plan and has made my experience a very comfortable experience. I have and will refer my friends to this practice. His assistants have been professional, knowledgeable and supportive through this process.

On a scale of 1-10 where 10 is great, I think Exceptional Dental in Mid-City is an easy 10. More specifically, Dentist Alice and Hygienist Jennifer are both 15s in their respective disciplines.I had a great dentist when I lived in NYC, but think the technical quality of the dentistry and the caring for patients by Dr Alice and by Jenn are over the top. They are both great at their craft and go above and beyond to address my special needs.Over the past year Ive had quite a bit of dental work done and have always been impressed by the quality of their work and how much they care about my comfort. Both inspire a very high degree of confidence, and I strongly recommend Dr Alice and Jenn for all your dental needs.

My appointment with Dr. Alice went like precision clockwork as always. My procedure was a new crown and Dr. Alice has done a couple before that were perfect and this one was no exception. After getting the new crown, no pain and I was chewing on it as normal. She is truly a gifted and it is always a pleasure to see her! She has a new assistant Amber and she has such attention to detail that she remembered from a previous visit that I prefer that the TV not be turned on. Again, great memory and so personable. I normally do not post comments, but felt compelled to recommend Dr. Alice and Exceptional Dental of Mid City.I have to comment on another tremendous visit to see Dr. Alice. I am so grateful for the three crowns she flawlessly made for me. There was absolutely no issues and they are wonderful. TroyLynn did a great job assisting and I appreciate her putting on good temporaries. In addition I would like to recognize Jenny for taking such good care of me for my hygiene. Before seeing her and being treated, I was on the border of periodontal work, but thanks to her skill and thoroughness I am in good shape now. Amazing!Went in for my usual cleaning. I insist that Jen be the one. I have been fortunate to have some good hygienists but Jen is on the top of my list. Not only are her dental skills excellent she is very warm and caring. I am on a 3 month regimen so I truly look forward to visiting Jen and doctor Alice... Who had fitted me for a mouth guard the previous visit and this is evidence of her looking out for me and the well being of my teeth for the long run. Her experience and forward thinking diagnosed a problem that Ive been having for a long time. So fortunate to have doctor Alice as my dentist and by the way I think she is happy with me because she says I am one of her most compliant patients.....

Staff are super pleasant and courteous (especially my regular hygienist Jenn who is lovely to chat to), and reasonable prices for regular cleanups. Facility is modern and spotless, and they have been extremely cautious throughout the pandemic in terms of patient hygiene. Highly recommended 👍

Really enjoyed my experience with Tara and Stephanie. Tara was personable and we really hit it off. Wouldn’t mind having her as my Dental Hygienist every time I need a cleaning.

Dr. Alice Ho has to be really one of the best doctor. Caring, excellent listener and available when I need her. The staff is courteous, helpful, friendly and accommodates you. I would recommend Dr. Alice any day.

Exceptional Dental lives up to their name 100%. My friend has been a patient there for a few years now and recommended I visit Exceptional Dental. Since it had been nearly TEN YEARS since I had my last dental exam, I was hella nervous about my appointment. The staff here is AMAZING and was very considerate of my fears!Even though I lucked out and didnt have too much damage, I did need a couple of fillings (my first!) and a hardcore deep cleaning that required local anesthetic. I was able to get all the dental work scheduled for that same week. My hygienist, Rachel, did an AMAZING job and carefully went over everything to do and expect post-procedure. Dr. Setti and his assistant made sure I was comfortable and relaxed while getting my fillings.Based on my experiences here, Exceptional Dental of Mid-City is efficient, professional, thorough, and fairly priced. Their facility is impeccably clean and sanitary with relatively seamless COVID-19 protocols in place.

The Dentist Mousse and nurse Danielle was awesome! I had anxiety and they were just a God Send throughout my surgery and visit. Ginger was such an angel when I had concerns about procedures. All the staff were very professional and I truly appreciate their superb customer service. Thank you for everything!

Everyone was great. Jenn, the hygienist, is always outstanding. Her memory and sense of humor put me at ease. I’m still not a fan of going to the dentist, but my experience with Jenn makes the twice a year cleanings seem alright. See you in February.

Throughout all of the procedures I have had completed, I can honestly say I was completely comfortable and walked away with confidence in the treatment that was performed.
