My husband wanted to send this review.Dr. Campo has been my family dentist for many years. His office staff is very friendly and accommodating. It feels like being at home when I visit their office. I always look forward to getting my teeth cleaned or having dental work. In fact, I look forward to going to my dental appointments.Kathryn is my dental hygienist. She is great !!!Dr. Campo is a always very nice and cordial. He always explains any needed procedures. He will also tell you if a procedure is not necessary. I had a chipped tooth. He advised of issues which could arise but said no need to have any work performed unless I elected to do so.I had some other dental work in the past of which I was well pleased.My son had some major work with a bridge many years ago. He did an excellent job and Philip has never had any problems.His pricing is more then reasonable in my opinion.All of my family members are his patients. They are all of the same opinion.You will not find a better dentist in the metro area. I highly recommend him.My thanks to both him and his staff

I started my Monday at Dr. Campo’s office a coupleof weeks ago and left wishing I could start every Monday there - amazing teeth to start my week and the ideal blend of professionalism, knowledge and warmth throughout the entire office.My girls’ appointments are coming up soon, and they cannot wait to see Catherine and Dr. Campo who have managed to make everything from routine visits to shots and teeth extractions not scary. What a gift!I highly recommend their practice and am so thankful they have been a part of both our dental hygiene and our lives.

Dr. Campo has been my dentist for several years now. My confidence in him and his staff havent waivered. He is very informative while explaining necessary treatment and explains any findings during his routine exams. His assistants are also very helpful. They are world class in patient comfort. The hygienists are also top notch. They know when your comfort is dwindling and how to adjust to correct that while giving you the best care. And the office ladies? I cant say enough about how helpful and knowledgably they are. You will never have an unanswered question. The wait, if any, is typically very short and pleasant. The waiting area is clean and full of interesting reading materials. As long as Dr. Campo is practicing, I will never need another dentist.

These people make up bills. A price to pull a tooth is more than it would be without insurance. They tell you what the bill is then change it when you leave. I paid my bill and now they are saying I owe more. My insurance said that the charges are fake.

I am not a resident of New Orleans any more because my son is doing his Residency as a doctor here in upstate New York. I just want everyone at Dr Campos office to know how thankful I am that I came to him for same day dentures before we left that area! I am 85 years old and I get compliments every time I go anywhere about my smile and beautiful teeth! I have no problems with them at all, use very little adhesive and keep them shiney clean! Have not had to go to any other dentist. Thanks Dr Campo for the great job you did!!

Dr.Campo is great and friendly, but his office overcharges and won’t provide proof of increase in bill. Dr.Campo also suggests work that is not totally necessary. The billing department is outrageous. The fees change and jump. I suggest you only go if you are paying cash and not using insurance because they will up charge and overcharge if you use insurance and then won’t provide evidence of non payment by insurance. I do not know who to fault. His administrative office is terrible. It’s a shame because he is great at what he does, his hygienists are some of the best in the city, but I do not feel that the rates or prices are fair. I had an outstanding bill because of this, every time i went in I paid and paid again and paid again. They had sent me a bill, when I know I was paid in full (keep your receipts when paying partial cash and partial card). I asked for proof. They never sent it. Time went on. I got a letter from a collection agency, I called them and requested evidence, I emailed, I called again, and no answers no return calls. I sent a letter through agency, no answer. These guys are disgusting. They had the message that I was taking care of my father in hospice and would like answers before paying this bill...again. No answer. So, I am paying it anyway because I cant afford the dip in my credit. Quality aside, ethics, disgusting, service, awful, office is terrible. Best wishes and good luck to them or anyone going in.

UPDATE: Covid-19 precautions being strictly adhered to. Dr. Campo, Catherine, and everyone on staff are fantastic. My daughters and I have been patients for the past 14 years. I NEVER EVER have to wait more than 90 seconds before I am seen for my appointment. I could not be happier with the quality of work.

I’m a traveling musician, and this past Sunday I was in Dallas and lost a filling. Our next stop was New Orleans, and not only did Dr. Campo get me in the very next day, but was able to do a crown for me in one day, at a reasonable price. He and his entire staff were top notch, and I highly recommend him if you’re in the New Orleans area. Thanks Dr. Campo!!!

After 5+ years of great experiences here, I have had a change of heart and will not be going back! In short, they never mentioned that my insurance wouldnt cover the costs!! A couple weeks ago my wife and I both went for routine check-ups that should have been 100% paid by insurance. Dr. Campos staff failed to mention that they charge much higher rates then my new insurance accepts and that I would be paying most of the bill myself. I got the, we are expensive and its too bad your insurance doesnt cover us treatment. Good job hiding the costs until I forced to pay out of pocket.

Best dentist in da Big Easy. Dr. Campo has the touch, of one of the greatest,cosmetic dentist, ever... Dr. Ronald Goldstein of Atlanta, Ga...He made my crown, in one office visit. Such a gentle, painless experience.

I went to Campo in school at Tulane to get my teeth cleaned... He demanded I get x rays and then proceeded to tell me I had three cavities that would cost me around $500 to get fixed. I thought this was crazy since I had been to my regular dentist only 6 months prior. I sent Campos x rays to my dentist back home and my dentist laughed when he saw Campos xr rays. He said they were so poorly done that he couldnt tell anything from them. So we redid the xrays and I didnt have any cavities (maybe a slight buildup, but not big enough to change).

This is the best dentist Ive ever had, and Im 53 with every kind of dental issue...cavities, cracked teeth, chipped teeth, loose fillings...he fixed everything. Awesome dexterity with his hands...gets in and out with zero pain.
