This was my first time going to this nail salon, I would highly recommend going here. The service was great, the nail techs were even nicer. I showed her exactly what I wanted done to my nails, and she gave me 100% what I wanted. If you are in New Britain or new to the area I would highly recommend this nail salon if you need or want to get your nails done, great prices and very fast service.

Manicure was perfect. Pedicure however I now have both of my big toes infected because the lady dig into my skin looking for ingrown nails that weren’t there, made them bleed and potentially used unsanitized equipment. Very sad. Because up to that point followed by the excruciating pain I’m in now due to the infections, I really enjoyed the place.

No wait on a Friday, was convenient but odd. The lady was nice. Paid $47 for a basic fill with gel polish no designs or extra stuff. They came out pretty good but not great. Lots of small flaws.Not worth it to me.

Completely ruined my nails n still fragile still breaking above nail bed

The tech who was doing my nails spoke bad about her employees (owner) tho whole time & look like she was falling asleep a few times then left to go eat chips & soda and proceeded to do my nails I had to ask her to wash her hands before finishing my nails my nails were wayyy to thick so I asked her to make them thinner she asked somebody else to file them down then took another customer did not like my nails at all so I told them she got disrespectful then the owner did my nails she had to take them all off them re do them for them to look just okay I’m mad I paid $140 for me and my daughter and I’m not happy with them 🤦🏻‍♀️ Oh yea and 4 fingers are sore from being cut

I been trying to get ahold of the actual owner and no one what’s so ever has did the effort to do so of returning my call smh.

Was there for an appointment but they kept seeing others before me and then were speaking in their own language which makes others feel uncomfortable, and they did not do the greatest job on my daughters nails, it was a little messy. In the end I did not get my services done because they took way to long

The service Ling and Nancy gives are phenomenal. Been going there about a year and I can’t complain. Super clean, there always on time and the customer service is great.

First off Nancy is the best I love her and I went the other day with my daughter who was sick and they didnt feel bothered like other salons do, they gave her water and made her comfortable and made me feel comfortable and did my nails amazing. I recommend this place

People are nice but they did a rush job… The water was cold for the manicure… Didn’t even file my nails just a bad experience

Unhygenic. Pedicure basins dirty, floors dirty. Staff inexperienced or just careless. Did not follow instructions and cut my cuticles on my toenail deeply and then tried to pretend she didnt. Filed toenail too short, making it bleed. Manicure was just hopeless. Sharp edges left on several fingers even after pointing them out. Cuticles cut unevenly and left ragged. Polish applied sloppily. Spoke to other staff in language other than English constantly causing me to feel uncomfortable. Wont return.

They pay a great deal of detail to your nails. They are meticulous and make sure that they are precise and the customer is fully satisfied. Many other places rush to make a quick buck, you will not get that here. Its money and time well spent for great service.

Julie was too busy constantly calling her son and arguing w him while doing my nails. Then messed up my nail bc she was distracted from constantly calling people. I was supposed to get a full set but didn’t even do that bc she was too distracted. As a salon owner, you should be more professional.

There nail designs are amazing. The people are great l come all the way from New York to get my pampering done

The lady who did my nails was very nice and did a good job. There was another nail tech that was very unprofessional; she had her usual customers and one of her customers was completing how my nails looked. Then the nail said that what I chose to do to my nails was a waste of money and that she’s very “real” with her clients. If she thought that I should of chose a different way to go about my nails and gave constructive criticism I would of been fine with that. She should NOT of been UNPROFESSIONAL and loud of HER opinion on what I chose to do with my nails. I did not ask for her opinion and she was not my nail technician.

Love them they are cost friendly and knowledgeable! Always do great work highly recommended.

I always try and find at least one positive with businesses I rate, it wasnt easy. They saw me right a way on a Saturday, big plus but they also only had 2 others clients...should have been a clue. Service was a reg manicure with gel polish. First the table I sat at was dirty, the woman doing my nails was nice but super lazy, water for soaking was cold, I literally had to insist she get warmer water. She used the drill to get off old gel polish(other places use acetone with cotton first) thinned my natural nail out doing it that way. Then polished me without me washing my hands first so there was dust all over my nails and the the kicker: she tried to lotion me with the same dust on my hands, I was so done at that point. I gave 2 stars only because of no wait, the tech was personable and spoke fluent English.

They do a great job with nails but their time management is horrible. You can call for an appointment and still wait an hour to be seen after the appointment. I came in for a gel color change on my nails and toes and they did my nails immediately, had me sit in the pedicure chairs afterwards and started a new client that came in after me. I waited over 45 minutes for my toes to be done while someone that came in after me was being finished. This happens everytime. You are unlikely to go in and come out in a timely manner.

Do not come here because I got my brows done and I told the lady that I want my brows to be thick and still with my arch and when she was done my brows were thin and no arch they’re so ugly (my brows)

I love the way these women do nails ! I won’t stop going her my size and color always come out perfectly and they make sure you feel welcome each time !

Tina is the best! She’s so fast and her work is great. They are very friendly and outgoing here. It’s worth the 30 minute drive for me!!!!

Not happy

I went to get my eyebrows done and I would never suggest this place. I told her to keep my eyebrows thick and she waxed most my eyebrows off. My eyebrows are usually arched she took my arch out and made them round. It was overall a horrible. And she made me wait for about 30 and hour to butcher my eyebrows even though I called for an appointment.

I like how they do the nails but they never close on time I had an appointment for 6 and I showed up at 530 & IT WAS CLOSED. Horrible with customer service and when you call it’s like 3 people yelling/talking to you at once. Like how many people does it take to answer a question

Love Julies Nails. Been going to Nancy for the past few yrs and she always takes good care of me.

Had an appointment for 2 gel manicures for 5:15. Had to wait for 30 minutes to be seen, all the woman did was file(unevenly) and paint(sloppily) our nails. She cranked the light up as high as it would go so it burned to put our hands under and were only under for 10 seconds. They did not clean any of their tools between clients, there was nail dust everywhere, and my entire gel manicure took 10 MINUTES!! Two days after, they already started chipping which normally doesn’t happen for 2 weeks with gel polish. Never ever go there, they are rude and do a horrible job.
