After reading all the reviews of the U-Haul branches in my area, I chose this one, even though it was further out of my way. I think it was the right decision - everything went as planned, the person who helped me was super nice, quick, helpful, and helped me avoid any additional charges (he told me what to do if I had to drop the truck off after they closed, and also helped me fold up the moving blankets to avoid the extra charge for that). Overall great experience here. Even though I paid a little extra in mileage charges, it was worth it to have the excellent customer service.

Picked up a car transport trailer. The trailer had a flat tire when we went to pick it up so they replaced the tire. They replaced it with another bad tire and we had a blowout on a highway. We had an over 2 wait for U-Haul to dispatch a tire repair truck and we were on a very busy 2 lane highway. We were 5 min away from another U-Haul dealer but we had to wait for roadside assistance. We were lucky that it didnt do any damage to the classic car we were hauling.

Always friendly and helpful. I rent trailers often and have always had a good experience.

Worst experience. Made a reservation for installing trailer hitch. Manager calls a day before to postpone the appointment. Promised a callback within a week and that never happened. Now after more than a month, the new appointment has not been scheduled. Calling the office number always goes to central customer service who have no idea about what the individual shop is doing or how to contact them. Cancelled the order and asked for refund. Taking the business elsewhere.

This location was great! They were able to accommodate our need for a 5x8 trailer and put it on quickly. Great customer service and friendly employees!

Rental experience was very good when I rented a truck here recently. Truck was clean and as it should be. I had an issue with a tire on their lot and it was resolved with good customer service. I will be back to this location.

I did an after hours pickup and drop-off. Something got keyed incorrectly at the uhaul end, even tho the reservation showed a 5.30pm pickup once I did the pickup thru the app it said I needed to be at the location at 9am that morning. Had to call customer service and straighten it out. Took 40 mins before I could drive off the lot. Dropping off (to me) it wasnt clear where to drop the key. Mail slot is around the side of the building. No sign.

AVOID this location.. I had the most stressful experience renting a moving van... Terrible staff, they do not treat you well.As other customers have mentioned, I should had avoided this location.1. Train employees to treat your customers better. I was never given the info on what steps I needed to take next after getting the keys.2. N was not helpful at all gave no explanation about the message from Uhaul about the pre inspection.3. There was no customer parking available, When I called I was told by Tyler that he couldnt help since no spot was available. I get it, but the thing is 5 spots were taken up by u-haul vehicles clearly parked at the customer parking spots.4. No instructions on how to secure the dolly in the van. Just terrible experience.

The clerk was excellent Wednesday night, I wish I could remember his name. He was friendly and helpful, it’s nice to see customer service like that.

Not a great experience, wasted hours of my day waiting for a truck.

Had a reservation for a trailer hitch to be installed and it wasn’t in on time so Mason the manager canceled it - fine. The Natick location doesn’t take your call so you have to call the national line. National rescheduled me for Saturday. I’m missing a party to be here now and they don’t have the part or an installer and I’m told they don’t do this on Saturday!? They wouldn’t even look threw these parts to tell me if mine was here.

The Natick facility was great and I had no issues with that facility. My issues were with Uhaul. We reserved a truck for Burlington at 0800. Uhaul called the day before and changed it to Acton at 0900. Got to Acton, truck was not turned in. Had to go to Natick to pick up truck, then was asked to return it to a different location. A 4 hour college transfer turned into 12hours with all the driving.

Upon arriving in Natick at 7:00 Am on the day of my move, the desk attendant, Andrew Garcia, told me the truck had to be returned by 1:00 PM. I told him I had requested a 5:00 PM return on my original reservation and that I did not think it possible to return the truck by 1:00 PM (I had to make a round trip to Amherst, MA--over an hour and half each way). He then told me he would NOT rent me the vehicle. I explained that this was unacceptable and then I needed the truck nevertheless on that day-- even if I had to return it by 1:00. He still refused to rent me the vehicle. I then asked to speak to the manager.The manager was summoned and he told me I could take the truck-- if I had it back by 1:00. I took the truck, as my moving plans were inflexible even if I had to get the move done four hours faster than planned. As soon as I left, I called UHaul to explain the situation and request more time.I spent over an hour trying to get through to a live person at U Haul. Once I did, and after holding for another long period of time, I was able to speak to a representative. Although at first he was resistant to changing my return time, he eventually did move some things around and told me I could have the truck for an additional 2 hours-- a 3:00 PM return.I rushed through my move and was able to get the truck back by 2:45 PM. However, my final statement now had TWO DAYS charges on it-- $59.90 rather the the $29.95 I had agreed to pay. This, after the poor treatment I had received that morning, added insult to injury. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!!!

My reason for the 3 stars is simply because I did the pick up rental option by phone check in. So when I returned the van I figured it was the same case as in arrive drop off and can go about your day. Van was clean, fueled up gas to its original mark and though ok. Ready to go. Nope. I dropped of van and had to wait about 15 minutes to someone to check van and being able to go about my day.

Everyone that works there is amazing. They could use more help.

Their Trailers are Always Used during the Busy Traveling times of the year, and Traffic is ALWAYS Very busy, and slow to get where youre going as well.

Good selection of items and everything. Parking is a bit awkward and service was lacking. Myself and three others waited about 3-5 minutes before some service people walked in and started helping us. No apology, just acted like it was normal.

Terrible service. Made a reservation online(24/7 reservation). I tried to select the Framingham location and it said they didnt have the vehicle available, however the Natick location DID have what I need. I finished the reservation and got my confirmation.The reservation said that the next step for me was to show up at 8am the next day and pick up said vehicle. I showed up, no option to pick up vehicle online. I went inside, guy at counter wasnt even aware of my reservation. Said they dont infact have anything available and cant do anything for me except offer a different location where Id have to pay full cost for the extra miles.This is terrible u haul.

Good experience without any contact with people. It worked smoothly only with a cellphone. My truck was ok.

They were completely unreachable by phone two weeks before I wanted to make a reservation. They were sloppy and uncaring when I made the reservation, with the manager completely unhelpful, flippant, and rude. Couldn’t be bothered to guide us about drop-off and pickup because he was playing on his phone. A blazed-out-of-his-mind employee got my personal information wrong and couldn’t answer a single question. On the day of pickup, the staff were still unprofessional, unhelpful, the manager’s pants were falling off his bottom, and we couldn’t ever reach them by phone when we had questions about the vehicle. A month later, and minor issues errant charges are being made to my card. I’m furious at the experience and the terrible people here who are completely unreachable, completely unhelpful, and wildly mismanaged.

I had a terrible experience at the Natick, MA Uhaul. I went at opening to make sure they would have a truck reserved for me that afternoon when I went to pick it up. The closing on my house was 8 AM the next day. I reserved a 17 as they did not have a 20 available. When I went to go pick up the truck that afternoon they told me that my reservation had been canceled and someone else had reserved the truck. They told me they could do nothing for me and for me to call the home office if I would like to complain. I had to madly look around for another truck on my own when my closing was the next morning and I had specifically gone in the morning so this would not happen. Very disappointed in Uhaul.

Convenient uhaul with a high quality fleet. My one issue was that when it was time to get my truck, it was parked in and it took a bit of waiting to find and get a staff member to release my truck. Overall, though, great experience and staff was friendly and pleasant to work with.

Manager was excellent

I agree with many of the folks here. Calling the local number gets you the national line which, today was giving them trouble so please call back. For a major residential center, these guys dont have many trucks in their inventory. Despite being the middle of summer when everyone is on vacation, they have no trucks available for several dates I tried to book for. The staff both at the location and on the phone was nice, but couldnt resolve the problem. Now Googling other moving truck companies in the area.

I have mixed reviews about the place. Quick check out but they need to be reminded so many times what they agreed. They always are short on the inventory so either you end up picking way too big a truck or have to come back at a different time. The people are nice but that doesnt serve your main purpose of getting the truck rental

Ive had a good experiences until now. Tonight I had to do an after hours drop off and I arrive to find my car blocked in... no way to get it out and no one to contact about it.

Honestly, the best rental truck experience I have ever had! Well organized, friendly, efficient and clean in every conceivable way. Unaware if this is some type of Gold Standard UHaul location...but it certainly could be. I would trust sending my 70yo mother here for a truck rental.

5 stars here, this was the ONLY uhaul location somewhat close to me on a tough holiday even gas stations closed (memorial day). Was in and out of there very fast with a great rental what else more can you ask for.

Inexpensive bubble wrap and cardboard boxes. Kraft paper, dish wrapping, all decently priced. They also have two bins of free used boxes. Sometimes theres a wait if somebodys getting a truck and if you go there during moving season then expect the line. Tip: you can order supplies online and pick up in the store, so if theres a large line go grab your items and ask if you can hand them your receipt to just walk out and avoid the wait.

Had a trailer hitch installed on my new Golf Alltrack last week. This is the second hitch Ive had installed by Uhaul and was well aware how much less they charge than a dealer. This time the installation was tricky requiring the removal of the bumper and took over 3 hours to complete. Very professional job, looks great. Theres no way they made any money given the price previously quoted but everyone was very gracious. Better bang for the buck then ever!

Installed the trailer hitch here, price are much cheaper for the basic installation included wiring, almost half of the price compare with their competitors, guys are very friendly and helpful, but like the other viewers said, need a long wait because not enough manpower. I did online reservation and was on time.

I this this is a new business.. No car dealership there. As far as truck rental goes, had no problems. Guys at the counter are friendly and easy to deal with.

Do not go to the Natick location our truck was given away because we didnt show up exactly at the time we gave altho noone told us we needed to be here. The general manager Arthur Dulong was rude and gave us a number to call refusing to provide any other help. Who in customer service treats people like that.

Simple process to take uhaul trucks and no need to wait

Local U-Haul. Good location on Rt 9. Easy to work with staff and dependable van. Priced as advertised. No complaints.

Took quite awhile to get my rented van. Was given the keys to the locker that had the keys but had to find the guy who was attempting to put a hitch on another truck. That took 25 minutes of waiting. Also uhual verification is tough in a dark parking lot with no light. How the hell am I supposed to take a selfie?!?!

Scheduled a uhaul van 2 weeks ago for 2 days (Friday and Saturday). I arrive at 7 am Friday the guy then proceeds to tell me it must be returned the next morning. I showed him my confirmation email saying 2 days and he replied with thats just not possible. Well, actually it is possible cause thats what I signed up for and I have written proof of it. I leave without arguing but better customer service would have been appreciated! At least take money off my daily rate or something! Im lucky Im not moving far or else it would have been a real problem. Now I need to go out of my way to schedule another uhaul at a different place! Dont recommend

Awful experience. Only one person on a busy Sunday. They ended up wasting 45 minutes of my time when they could not complete my checkout and issue my trailer. They blamed the Uhaul servers being wonky. Even a supervisor on the phone couldnt get the system to dispatch my trailer. When I left disappointed the line was terrible. This may have been mostly the fault of Uhaul corporate but the location was still understaffed.

Terrible management. Scheduled an appointment for a hitch to be installed (thru national line). Assured that natick had the parts needed for my make and model. Got to appointment and was told installer wasn’t going to be ther for another 6 hours. Oh and was also told that he didn’t show up yesterday so he’s not very trustworthy. Nice! And they don’t even have the parts needed to install the hitch. Waste of time. Don’t bother getting a hitch installed here! Go somewhere that has better communication and management!

Good experience, had an issue with vehicle return because of the drop box after hours but UHaul help line was great and then the manager here was great too, good to know its a place that treats you well when there is a problem.

Horrible expirience!!! I go to rent a trailer on Friday afternoon and after packing up and getting redy to drive out over night I realized that there are no lights on the trailer. I call out AAA and they rig the trailer and tell me I cannot drive like this all the way to Missouri. I was told to drive back 45 min to Natick so they can replace it but they did not have a trailer when I arrive there and I was sent an hour North to Nashua, New Hampshire to pick up a different trailer, but when I arrive in Nashua their trailer had a flat tire and I was sent another hour North to pick up a 3rd trailer from Manchester. By the time I have picked up the 3rd trailer I was already beat up from driving around and had to delay my trip another day and was a 2.5 H drive from where I wrw as staying. After talking with the branch I picked up the first trailer from they offered me a $50 refund for all the running around and for wasting 2 days of my trip and also I was told I will get a call from the manager and never received one nor did I ever received the refund. Horrible experience and I do not advise using them.

Easy to get all moving supplies

Plenty of equipment staff is hard to come by. The staff I dealt with were friendly. On a busy day expect a 30 to 40 min wait.

There was 1 person working on a saturday morning in the summer, probably the most common moving time in new england. I was charged incorectly and after an hr long wait in line to correct it, I was told there was nothing they could do. They wouldnt even attempt to correct the charges, and there was no manager to speak with. I was promised the manager would call me when available and Im still waiting on the call, even after contacting corporate customer service. Id make an effort to avoid this place.

Staff were VERY knowledgeable, and processed my return very quickly.

I tell him i HAVE to have the truck for 24 hours and he put same day return so i he tells me i can return it that next morning and he wont charge ehich didnt help because i needed it 24hrs. Then he says mileage is 79 cents a gallon but charged 99 cents a mile. This place is a joke

Its a U-Haul storefront. Good selection of moving supplies, good selection of rental vehicles, but almost always understaffed. We had to wait 15 minutes to buy a box, as only the manager was on duty.

I echo the STAY AWAY sentiments. Prices are low - true... but know that you will get what you pay for. If you have little to no expectations and a ton of patience for incompetency, then you may do okay.I simply wanted a hitch put onto my car - I made a reservation, paid for parts to be ordered and left several messages to confirm. Messages were left 5-6 times and not once was a phone call returned. If you want to talk to someone in this store you have to physically go there, because returning phone calls must not have been part of the customer service training.On my third trip into the store (all before the install) I was told if dropped my car off the night before I would be guaranteed the first install spot and my car would be ready early. I dropped off my keys, watched Thomas write on my reservation First one to be done in AM and felt I would be all set for pickup the next day.I called 20 minutes prior to the pickup time and left a message. I was told by UHaul headquarters that I would receive a call back in 5-10 minutes. 20 minutes later I just went to the store. Should I have been surprised that when I pulled in my car had not been touched? No hitch, no movement, no nothing. I did get a little attitude at first, which made matter worse. Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere.UHaul Rte 9 Natick = Incompetence. Buyer/Renter beware: If you use this place, you will need to follow up repeatedly. Unfortunately though, even if you do all you can to ensure your service is completed, there is a really good chance you will be disappointed.For anyone looking to have a hitch put on for bicycles, call Landrys in Natick - they recommended a personable and professional guy, Jeff at Wheels Dynamix. A 100% improved experience for us!

I tried to reach this location on the phone all day to getting something resolved. I kept getting routed to national call center. I eventually got to the location and they were unapologetic. It was very unpleasant experience.
