I ordered a hitch about a week ago and it came in super fast. I got a call yesterday and was able to have it installed first thing this morning. Mason did the work quickly and securely despite being the only employee for the morning and having to deal with customers in store and on the phone. He was also really professional and personable and a pleasure to deal with.
I ordered a trailer hitch several weeks ago, I gave a deposit and made an appointment for seven days after my order/ I was to get a phone call telling me that the hitch had been delivered. I never received the call and drove to the Uhaul in Milton jonly to find out that they didnt have the hitch. I made an appointment for the following week and was told that I would get a call when the hitch was in. I never received a call. I called Uhaul and spoke to their customer service who assured me that I would get a call from the manager within ten minutes. I never received that call either. I am going to cancel the order/ I do not usually like to complain. I typically will just write off the particular vendor and never use them or buy anything from them.
I received some very poor customer service from Desir (spelling?). My girlfriend and I had booked a reservation for 11 am for a 9 cargo van. When we arrived we were informed that there were no vans available and the earliest time we could expect one was 1: 30 pm. When we mentioned that we had booked the reservation 4 days prior and was guaranteed a vehicle he shrugged his shoulders and said you can see we dont have any vehicles. He never offered an apology and said maybe we should call customer service. (I did call customer service and the agent confirmed we were correct and the vehicle shouldve been ready for us. She was taken aback by the service we received.) When we returned at 1:30 he again told us that no vehicles are available while we were staring at a 9 cargo van in the parking lot. He told us that was for a 1 pm reservation even though we had already waited two and a half hours past our original reservation. Eventually he caved in and said that we could take that van. To make matters worse as we were driving on the Massachusetts Turnpike I heard a rattling and before I could even pull over the windscreen on the back of the van came flying off and almost hit a car behind us. Honestly there are a lot of U-Haul locations in this area so I would avoid this one at all costs. They dont seem to comprehend the basic understandings of scheduling.
Don’t expect any service from this place. These people will just waste your time.I asked how long it would take to simply attach the trailer (I had hitch and wiring already installed). The guy couldn’t give me an estimate but was visibly annoyed that I needed a timeframe. Even after I explained that I was in a hurry he still showed zero consideration for the fact that I couldn’t just wait around.A women before me complained how they wasted 1.5 hours of her time because they didn’t have a certain part that they were suppose to have. Im very sure she was right to complain given my experience with these guys and another review here with very similar complaints.Unless there is a change of management anytime soon, don’t bother wasting your time with these irresponsible idiots.
