I was very surprised to see that there was a salon that actually had 5 stars. I went in to get waxed and I see why this place was highly rated. The owner is so nice and gentle especially with me being a first timer. Also, she process was nice, the environment was clean and the overall experience was awesome. I have less bumps and ingrown hairs as well.

I recommend Beauty Box!!! This was my first time getting a Brazilian sugaring & it was painful I won’t lie but Melissa talked to me the whole time and took my mind off the pain! I’m 8 months pregnant and can’t shave anymore so I was interested in the Brazilian. I am definitely a regular customer after today!! I’m more than satisfied!

I have always heard good things about surgaring and so I found Beauty Box when I moved here. Melissia was the first friend I made in Waco. I absolutely adore her! She is a master at what she does and makes you feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I wouldn’t trust anyone else waxing me now. Getting my eyebrows done was 100% pain free! She even tinted them and they look AMAZING! 100/10 would recommend to everyone!

I went later in the day because I had to work that morning. Melissa was just closing up but still agreed to do a sugar treatment for my younger cousin. Just called in trying to book an appointment. I asked if they do brow waxing and lip waxing and my inquiry was met a lot of negativity. It sounded like the person on the phone was offended that I asked what the difference was between wax and sugaring. And as I was asking questions I was met with very sassy responses. in the end I decided not to give my money to a place that is so rude to its customers.

Ive used Sonia at Beauty Box to do my lashes for a while now and I love her. I used her at her previous location and followed her when she moved to Beauty Box. Shes also done some sugaring for me and it was painless! Their location always gives you a good excuse to visit Soronias!!

I have had sugaring done for years by many many different people. I’ve had a few bad experiences and this was one of two. To start, Melissia was 30 min late arriving to the shop and even then didn’t start my appointment till an additional 15 minutes later.Her sugar paste was not kept in a warmer and prior to starting, she tossed the whole tub in the microwave. The point of a warmer is to maintain at a certain temperature so it isn’t too hot or cold. On top of that, she wiped the sensitive areas with alcohol pads to prep unlike most. I should have left right then but decided to wait it out.I know what a good Brazilian sugaring looks and feels like and this was not that. Her technique was not only sloppy but extremely painful. The microwaved sugar paste was too hot at first and then got too cold and she couldn’t work it properly, making the hair removal very painful.She also is extremely nosy & overly talkative. I found it low class that she tried to outsell and convince me to leave my usual aesthetician even while saying they were great friends. (I was only at Beauty Box because I didn’t book my usual person in time.)Overall, bad experience. Worst sugaring aesthetician I’ve been to in Waco.

Only place both myself and my husband will ever go.
