I’m so happy I stumbled upon Dr. Liz Papp and her team and California Skin Institute in Redwood City. The admin staff is so welcoming and friendly and I’m really happy with the care I’m receiving from Dr. Papp. She makes me feel heard and is very understanding. In the past the nurse practitioner was way too rough with my skin. Today I went in for a treatment and they were out of the exact solution that I specified in my appointment. Who does that?

Botched Botox on marionette lines. I went in to the Redwood City CSI with Liz Papp concerned about what they called marionette lines and came out with even more pronounce lines that before.It was very upsetting. She said I looked great, but of course she’ll say that. Even my teenager asked What happened to you? I took pictures of before and after and I recalled her saying that I needed more botox, naive me I took her advice to only have her used half of a bottle and she said she’d save the rest for another time. Well… I cried myself to sleep that day.All that money to actually look worse. They still have my other half a bottle which was $650 for one whole vial. No way I’ll go have her touch my face again. Liz refused to give me my money back and pretty much shoo me out the door. A total of $1300 dollars went down the drain and I was left with deeper marionette lines. She might be ok with other sling issues but nothing cosmetic at all.Stay away from this place.

The team at the institute were amazing. I was in and out with a thorough exam and a few tags blasted in less that 30 minutes! Dr Papp was kind and on time. Already looking forward to go back in a year for my next checkin!

Ive only been here once but everyone was knowledgeable and friendly, and there were covid precautions in place that made me feel safe (everyones temp gets taken upon arriving and everyone wears their mask properly)

I cant express enough how much of a wonderful experience going to California Skin Institute was. The entire staff was amazing and caring from the first phone call to the end of my appointment. And Liz Papp was so so awesome. I have zero doubt that any future derm needs will be taken care of at this location because they were amazing.

Liz Papp and her team are incredible. The entire experience is superior to any other offices I’ve visited. I make the drive from San Jose to Redwood City for this reason. Worth every minute and every penny.

This is a truly excellent practice. The staff is very helpful and prompt when it comes to scheduling. The medical professionals are incredibly knowledgeable and are very clear and honest with detailing your options and their benefits and side effects.

Excellent attention, I was really a little nervous about the procedure but Dr. Papp felt very comfortable and I didnt take more than 1 hour what I had expected for 2 years. I am very grateful to them and their assistant and receptionist are very friendly and cordial. Thank you.

My wife has gone to this office for years for her Botox and laser treatments. She has told me for years that I need to go in and have my moles looked at and maybe do some Botox too. So she made me an appointment and I went there.What a great office. The staff was very polite and efficient. I felt very comfortable. I was nervous going in for a visit, but was made to relaxed and at ease. Parking was also very easy. Amber the receptionist was thorough in taking my information. She has a kindness about her. Kim the RN brought me to a room and took my history and obtained information for my provider. She has been there more than 25 years. When my PA/doctor came in, all of my concerns were addressed and all of my questions were answered. I would absolutely refer this office. I left with a follow up appointment for future mole checks and a very content feeling.

I was really impressed by both the staff and doctors at California Skin Institute. I was welcomed warmly by their front desk staff, and they processed my forms and payment quickly and professionally. I was taken to the exam room on time, and the nurse again took great care in listening and recording my concerns.I was the most impressed by Dr. Liz Papp! Im used to doctors who are always behind schedule, who shuffle you around in a hurry, one foot already out the door heading to their next patient while youre still trying to ask questions. But not Dr Liz - her demeanor is calm and soothing, she takes care to listen to your concerns and examine the issues slowly and methodically. She diagnosed my issue right away (I visited a different dermatologist in the past who was way off) and recommended a skin cream that cleared up my problem in less than a month!Thank you Dr Liz Papp and all the wonderful staff at California Skin Institute! I went there for botox injection. I have done botox for a few years now and never had excessive bruising problems. First time I went to California skin institute in Redwood City the nurse that did the injection seemed very nice and said she had over 14 years of experience. Unfortunately I was bruised at every injection site, have 2 large bruises under my eyes and look terrible. Right after the injection all her injection point had a lump indicating unskillful injection.She charges what generally is charged when a doctor performs this procedure with out having the skills.

During my first appointment for a minor issue, I was told by the front desk staff my insurance would fully cover the Dr.s visits.7 months and 5 follow-up visits later I was surprised by a huge bill in the mail.I called the billing department and the representative was unflexible on the bill and extremely rude to me; she constantly interrupted me mid-sentence to ask if I intend to pay the bill, called me repetitive and hung up on me when I asked to speak to a manager.Dr. Papp and the staff are very friendly but this business practice is unacceptable.
