I love this place. As a male, I feel very welcome here. This was my second visit.It’s very nice, clean, and the staff is awesome and do a great job. I’ve only ever received pedicures here and they have always been awesome.They always offer something to drink, usually red or white wine. I really wish they offered basic hot or iced coffee, though. They do have bottled water.The establishment is also well-maintained and seems to be well-managed.Will definitely keep coming back!

This was a great experience! We came in late and we were treated extra special. They took their time and made sure we were satisfied. Tina took time and did these nails, she was quick and very professional. Ha did my pedicure and she took extra time to make sure that I was happy. Excellent service, excellent salon. Would recommend this place to every person who is looking for a home away from home!!!!!! Super happy!!!!!!!!

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! I got my nails done this past Saturday and since then, I’ve had THREE nails completely pop off. Not even break, just simply pop off like a press on nail. These nails cost $90 and that didn’t include tip. The first nail popped off on MONDAY. Not even 48 hours after I got them done. When I went to get it fixed, they didn’t not make me feel welcome. They made me feel like I was lying and the nail tech who did it, didn’t even apologize. He looked at it and said nothing. He apologized as I was walking out but I can assure you it wasn’t a welcoming/customer service environment. The second nail popped off on Tuesday and the third nail popped off today (Wednesday). I paid dang near $100 and they haven’t even lasted 4 days. I don’t do anything out of the ordinary with them, I have an office job and haven’t even washed my hair yet with these nails?? (I’m not gross, I promise it’s a girl thing to wash hair once a week). So disappointing. I just glued them back on instead of getting them fixed because they made me feel so unwelcome. Literally 3 nails popped off in 4 days. I basically paid $100 for press on nails. I never write bad reviews but the third nail just popped off and I had to say something . Please save your money, I will never be returning to Capitol Nail Bar in Germantown

This was terrible service! Worst acrylic manicure I have ever gotten. First time getting my nails done after covid. Wanted to get them done for a wedding. No massage, no cutting my cuticles. The guy was rushing the entire time. Won’t be superseded if these fall off by tomorrow. They dude told me to sit in the fan to dry off my nails for 10 minutes and then turned it off after two. When I said something they just ignored me. Currently waiting out my car for my nails to dry. Definitely won’t be coming here again. Could have spent my money somewhere else and gotten wayyyyy better serviceUpdate- added more pictures of my nails the day after. They literally look worse. I’m embarrassed walking around with these things. I have to go to a wedding and take pictures with them. I understand I got basic acrylic but I should never have to ask to have my cuticles cut back.. that should be a standard we service

I go to this place religiously every two weeks. Never had a bad experience! But by far Na “Tiny” has been my favorite. My nails are the perfect shape, painted beautifully, & she’s SO funny. 10/10 recommend this place especially with Tiny as your nail girl!

Next day gel chipping, charges you to fix their mistakes, wrong color, wrong service, charged for a fill they didn’t do, seemed annoyed when I asked for mistakes to be fixed. (Tried 3 times on 5/1, 5/10 and 5/24)This was such a disappointment because it seems like a nice place and has lots of great reviews. I tried three times but it’s not working out and I’ve spent tons of money just trying to get them to fix their mistakes/get what I asked for on my first visit.

Lori did a great job! Just got a gel polish change. Charge was $35 - standard for Nashville I think. I love the atmosphere in this location.

Loved this shop. It was my first time here and Lynn was my nail tech. She was very patient and gentle. I needed a lot of work as my previous tech messed my nails up. Lynn took her time, communicated my options, verified my wants. They also offer drinks in a super clean and contemporary atmosphere. Great music as well! I definitely recommend!!

I’ve been going to Capital Nails for a few months now. It’s been very professional, clean and their work is just amazing. I went in today and got a dip manicure and my nail tech, Lee, was outstanding. My new favorite place!!

Cute & modern nail bar. there was a bit of a wait but that’s okay. they give you wine :-) i’m a weirdo and get a full set on my toenails rather than my fingernails - which they did for me flawlessly.

We had an appointment! Got in sat down! I had 4 different people come up to me and start my pedi then leave! All my friends were almost done by the time the last guy came over! He was on his personal phone. Horrible costume service. Didn’t even ask what pedi package I wanted, just did what he wanted. I had high expectations and was let down. Very disappointed! At the end of my appointment I found out that the guy working on me was the owner! My nails are nice but not for the price or the wait!

I am genuinely and consistently impressed with Capital Nail Bar. They create such a great atmosphere and the shop is beautiful, plus they’re all so kind and great at what they do. I was hooked since the first appointment and I haven’t gone anywhere else in Nashville since. So thankful for this shop and their staff

My sister and I had our flight delayed back to Seattle and were looking for a nice place that just had an opening to relax before heading home. We were really surprised with how beautiful the salon was and how cheap the service was for the package we received since we’re used to paying that much with no upgrades. Friendly service and great pedicure! We will definitely come back if in the area again!

I called to get an acrylic fill done and my technician was so wonderful and efficient! We giggled about my inability to sit still during my pedicure exfoliation. 😜 the salon itself is so beautiful and modern. Very clean and the staff is very professional! I wish I lived in the state so I could come back every 2 weeks!!!

I’m so glad I didn’t give my money to this place, and I would recommend for anyone else to either. I walked in this place for my first time ever tonight and was in there for maybe a total of 5 minutes and had a terrible experience the second I walked in the door. I just moved into the neighborhood so I thought it’d be nice to have a nail salon walking distance from me. I was immediately greeted by a man that started aggressively questioning me and the other guests in the waiting area what we wanted, said it’s going to be a really long time but couldn’t tell us how long. I simply asked if he thought it would be longer than 30 minutes and he answered in a really agitated tone that he didn’t know, and started getting a bit aggressive and defensive with me about how everyone’s trying to move fast but it’s going to be a long time, so defensive to the point I literally had to say “I didn’t even say anything?” He clearly is having a bad day and taking it out on all his new customers (not the smartest choice), but I will not give a business my money when they clearly do not want my service. He seemed extremely annoyed that customers were coming in. I immediately left after being treated like this, and walked to a different nail salon down the street and had a great experience. Won’t ever be returning to this place!

I love the modern vibe of this salon! My stylist did a thorough job on my I pedicure, and the complementary wine was icing on the cake!

I’m never going anywhere else in Nashville for my nails ever again. This is the best place. This is it. So professional, so clean, so kind. I got a pink French dip manicure with tips, and it was so soothing and so flawless. I had a glass of wine while I got my toes done to match. If you’re lucky, you’ll get Tony. Absolutely perfect experience, and I adore my nails! Worth every penny and more.

This was me and my hubby’s first visit to this salon. The techs were very friendly and accommodating. We both enjoyed our experience!

First time here and really great and safe experience. Very easy to book an appointment with options for availability. Once you step inside, it is much larger than it appears on the outside. Quality equipment in the facility is a plus as well. Will definitely be back!

DO NOT USE!!! Horrible experience! Had an appointment for 11:30am for two gel pedicures. First one started at noon, 2nd at 12:10pm. Tech kept pulling/cutting too far and sliced toe with nail file. Did not get all of treatment before starting gel pedicure (but still charged for extras like hot towels).Once started gel, tech was very rough with putting feet in/out of gel light. Pushing on ankles and hitting hard to get me to move my foot (vs tapping or using words). At the end- he actually asked how everything went when I was clearly almost in tears over how rough he had been with me.To top it all off, this appeared to be the owner as they were answering the phone and “taking appointments “. Be warned, nothing was actually written down.Would NOT recommend.Update to their response- I have NEVER had a technician tell me that my feet are to blame for their ineptitude. Sometimes things happen and anyone would be understanding one time, but they have ALWAYS apologized and tried to do better. They did NOT get progressively more aggressive and rough.AGAIN. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

The business is very clean and nicely decorated. All social distancing and cleaning procedures were done. Everyone was nice and professional. There were several service options. I got a pedicure with parafin wax. I did not get hands done, but I did notice the different services including dip and nail shapes. The pedicure was about $10 more than my usual but I was pleased with the service

It was awful. Used dirty clippers on me among waiting wayyy to long to start my appointment.I had an appointment that my text said was at 4pm but they said 430pm. I got there at 410pm. It was with someone specific too. I waited until after 5pm with my feet in cold water for service. While I waited I made a pedicure elsewhere in the city. I declined that service from them and put my shoes back on.Around 515pm I was asked if I’d like someone else because “he feels really bad you’re waiting” so I said yes for my manicure. I’m no longer able to get a pedicure.When my manicure started she used her ratchet fingernails to scrape the excess gel polish off rather than a brush and the liquid (acetone?) but this was after she used a dirty pair of nail clippers from her box to clip 3 of my fingers. I pulled my hand back and refused until they were clean pulled out of the package in front of me. You could see gunk built up on them.I hated this place. I won’t be back.

Gorgeous, luxurious nail establishment located on 2nd Avenue in Germantown. Plenty of space between customers, especially at pedicure stations. Professional staff. They welcome walk-ins. Open 7 days a week. Parking might be a challenge, but I found a spot without having to pay or feed a parking meter. I have been a Venetian customer (Green Hills) for literally over a decade, but this nail salon has them beat!

I hate to leave a bad review for any business but this was just one I will never go back to. There are so many great nail salons within 2-3 miles…choose one of them. The pedicure was okay- not the best. It suitable. They literally stopped doing my manicure on the filing phase bc the manicurest didn’t understand what I was saying about filing my nails. I was told someone else would take over and waited 10 minutes for that to happen. It never did. I asked to speak to a manager on my way out to pay, and was ignored. So, I left with 1/2-way finished badly filed nails…no polish, etc.

My friend and I arrived for our appointment and were left sitting for over 30 minutes before anyone began our services. Both of our techs took personal phone calls during our service and I was asked to pay before the service was complete, but the service my friend received was far worse.The tech working with her cut her three different times with the nail file and proceeded to tell her in multiple ways that it was the shape of her nail that caused the issue and it was not his fault. He lacked any empathy and continued to bark at her throughout her service about the placement of her feet and the UV light for the gel pedicure. To top it off, he man-handled the ankle she recently had an injury on which brought her to tears.At the end of the service, he asked if everything was okay clearly expecting a positive review as she checked out; he was completely oblivious to her body language, flinches and watery eyes.I will never return for a service at Capital Nail Bar.

I got a classic manicure here and was blown away with how long it lasted and how nice it looked. The environment is clean and modern, and its an easy experience. Ill be going back for my normal gel manicure shortly and have no doubts itll be great.

Beautiful facility and great prices. I was very happy with everything except for the polish on my hands. After an hour it was separating on the edges and he didn’t polish far enough on the sides and torwards the cuticle. I also waited 15 min under the dryer before I left so it was dried well. It didn’t not smear, just separated.. it was so weird. The top coat he used look super thick which could be an indication it’s old so maybe that’s what caused it? It looked like I had a week old manicure. The pedicure was a amazing and he did a great job on the toe polish. I will go back for pedicures and possibly try a manicure again in the future.

I called and asked if they could take me right away and she said yes!!! Im really not good at remembering names lol but she was very nice and gentle when I informed her of my sore toe(ingrown! Not only did she remove most of the ingrown it wasnt unbearable like it normally is! I will be back soon.

I came in with my two good friends who are both women. I’ve never had a manicure before so I thought, “what the hell, why not try?” Came in, sat down and chilled for a bit while my friends got pedicures. Then I waited… waited and waited. two women came in and got manicures while I sat there waiting. I know as a regular looking guy, i’m not their typical clientele, so they may have just thought I was a friend who came to observe or something. However, I told them I planned on getting a manicure and even respectfully told one of the staff members about 30 minutes in that I’m still waiting.Well, I eventually did get my manicure thankfully, and it was a nice! Just wish I didn’t have to wait about an hour while my friends were in a chair already taken care of by the time I finally got my turn :/

We made appointments and waited 30 minutes in the chair until someone came to do our nails.. in that 30 minutes no one checked in on us, offered us anything to drink, etc.My pedicure lasted all of maybe 15 minutes. Massage was probably 30 seconds on each foot.When you’re paying THAT much money I’d expect a little more. I will not be back. They need to work on this! Their prices don’t match what you’re getting at all.

Went here for the first time a couple weeks ago. I really liked it and I’m very picky. I got a no chip manicure with gel polish. She did a spectacular job. I’ll definitely be back.

I am VERY particular on my nails and a true perfectionist. I leave here satisfied every time. I do dip nails and regular pedicures. My nails are always perfectly shaped, not thick, even, and just beautifully done. My toes are always looking fresh and great, too! Highly recommend.

Pros: Alex was nice, he was quick and gentle, and it’s a beautiful, clean & spacious salon. My manicure looks cute. (They would have gotten 4 stars but ....)Cons: things got weird when other workers started to surround us.. I felt so uncomfortable with them gathering around me as my nails were getting done. I felt like my hands were “show and tell”.The cost was more than I have ever paid for manicure or a full set of acrylics!If I knew it would have been that expensive I would have just cut all my nails short.Edit: after reading my review they continuously called me and left me a voicemail. It was almost 11PM and they WOKE ME UP to “discuss if everything was ok”?! I had to block the number to stop receiving calls!

Go here! I stumbled on this place on Google and I’m so happy that I did! I’ve been 3 times with 3 different technicians and each time was excellent - gel pedicure and dip manicure and wow! Tony (owner) was my most recent technician and I’ve honestly never had a more thorough and tedious dip manicure in my life. The color options are endless and the gel and dip is great quality - the salon is modern and beautiful. There are several massaging pedicure chairs along both walls and the nail bar is in the center. COVID protocol and cleanliness are superb.

I was initially happy with my nails and tipped very well but suddenly I noticed issues more and more. I have very healthy nails and as my regular manicure and pedicure got older I could see where the tech filed on the sides too deep and I even got a cut on my cuticle, that I am currently healing where those were picked down too deep. I won’t be back. Support nail techs who support the health of nails and especially the health of the nails of people who don’t look like them.

I had Nina for my Codi pedicure today and it was very relaxing! The Codi pedicure comes with an extra massage among a few other things. Ninas touch was light but exactly what I was needing. I also have incredibly ticklish feet and I hardly squirmed in my chair during the pumice stone, so she did great in my book! Ill definitely be back in the future.Lastly, the salon is clean, all were wearing masks, and socially distanced which is great during this time.

Unprofessional and unpleasant. Don’t recommend if you want consistency.I started using this nail salon when I moved to the Germantown area because it is so close to where I live. At first I loved it, then the service quickly became unacceptable. I would normally have the nail tech, Alex, but I set my appointment too late. They assigned the man who answers the phone to my nails. Long story short he was supposed to soak my acrylic off, he didn’t and refused to paint my nails the color I wanted. He also kept stopping to answer the phone even taking what appeared to be a personal call. Meanwhile there were 2 ladies just walking around doing nothing but coming over looking and talking to him every few minutes. What should have taken no more than an hour turned into a 2 hour appointment.Fast forward to my next appointment, I once again made an appointment and requested Alex, but he fell ill and they didn’t call and let me know nor did they tell me when I called them, it wasn’t until I made it to the salon that I found out. They told me they had a female tech who was really good. They took me to the back but the woman looked at me, said a few words to the man who answers the phone in their native language, and walked off so he ended up doing my nails again. At this point I am confused because that’s not what I was told before I was brought back. I was trying to reschedule and then they recommended the lady but she refused to service me for whatever reason. Because I know he is very slow I changed my mind about the pedicure and just asked him to change the polish on my nails. We go sit at the station and he starts taking the polish off. Just like last time the phone rings and he keeps stopping to answer. By the 4th time he did this, I politely asked if someone who wasn’t busy could finish my nails so he could answer the phone because I was on a time schedule. He got annoyed by my request, but proceeded. I told him multiple times I was just getting a gel polish change this man goes and gets acrylic powder, I then ask what is he getting that for and he says for my fill in I let him know I didn’t ask for acrylic, these are my real nails, I just want a polish change and if there is any acrylic left on my hand it is his fault because I got a soak off from him the last time I visited. At this point I am very frustrated because he is acting like he is mad and I’ve somehow inconvenienced him, I’m upset because I would have just rescheduled my appointment had I not been told someone else would be doing my nails. I then tell him I’ll just pay for the polish removal leave because I no longer felt comfortable with him doing my nails when he refused to provide the services I asked for.When checking out I had to request multiple times that he tell me what I would owe before I give him my card, after going back and forth multiple times he finally obliged, I pay and leave. I chalk this up to this one man and his service and I vow to never work with him again, but didn’t write of the salon, which I should have. A few weeks pass, I call to book an appointment with Alex once again, I spoke to a female on a Friday and we booked for a Saturday morning appointment over the phone. Saturday comes, and 30 minutes before my appointment I get a call from the nail salon and it’s the same man who always answers the phone when I’m there, the same man who I had 2 negative experiences with, the proceeds to tell me that Alex doesn’t want to do my nails anymore. I hang up the phone and that was that. This happened on May 1.2021.I won’t ever return and hope to speak to LC property management about my unprofessional experience with the staff and their poor treatments me.

These people are fantastic. Obviously I couldn’t choose from the million color options so I showed them pictures and the patiently helped me find the right colors. They are so friendly and funny and kind and just do an excellent job with the nails. Very professional. Alex, Lisa, Tony and Diem are all amazing.

The Customer Service was terrible. I wanted to get a pedicure, manicure & my eyebrows done but both the front desk and nail tech made me feel unwelcome so I only got a pedicure. Before I agreed to get the service I asked the front desk agent if they accepted Apple Pay because I forgot my wallet at home...she said yes.I reminded her that I was paying with Apple Pay when I got to the register & she changed it up & said that they don’t accept Apple Pay. Thankfully my bf was able to send me a picture of his debit card to pay for the service.The poor communication & bad customer service definitely put me in a bad mood.

Alex waxed my eyebrows and it was by far the best results Ive found in the city this far.

My first visit was really nice and I was happy with my nails. The second visit was going good until the person who was working on my nails was made to feel rushed because another client was coming in. She ended up cutting my cuticle with the drill. If it werent for that and them basically trying to pressure me into getting a design, I would give them four stars.

Got a dip powder manicure and it was awesome! Tony did a great job and was very thorough and gentle. I also got my eyebrows waxed and they did exactly what I wanted them to do. The people were very nice and the facilities were clean and high-end. Highly recommend supporting this new local business!!
