My friend recommended this place and it was a bit pricey in my opinion and the lady could have done better on my nails because she missed all the edges and also the pedicure was alright. I like my nails I just wished I couldve loved them.

My friend and I came as a walk in. The pedicure was good! Kim was my nail tech and I told her I was on a bit of a time crunch. I showed her the picture and asked if it was possible for my time frame and Im so happy it was! Kim was amazingly sweet. She wasnt rough at all. Even though we were tight for time, she didnt rush on my nails. She made them perfect and we were done in a little less than a hour. My nails look stunning! One of the best sets Ive ever had. Kim is definitely a nail tech I would recommend!! Absolutely loved her, her energy, and her work.

Venus does a great job on my nails. I am picky, and they look snagging. I will definitely be back. This is like a week later. I have arthritis so its difficult to do my nails. But they were great.

I’m so glad I tried this place- wanted to get my nails fixed (3 week old gel manicure looked a mess) before going to visit my mom but was kinda in a rush. Noticed they open at 9 so I stopped in. Good prices, a lovely hand massage and great looking manicure! I’m happy 🙂

Some of the worst customer service I have experienced in awhile. I never ever get my nails done and wanted to treat myself for once. I arrived right when they opened and the employees were all about 5 minutes late and the woman opening the door was on the phone and didn’t even say hello or acknowledge me standing there. I then showed a pic of a classic manicure but instead of white tips it had different colors, nothing too crazy. I asked if they could do this and the guy said “yes, but we don’t have time for that right now.” Which was so appalling to me because the images online show people who have had way more complicated looks (jewels, intricate designs), also, I should be able to get what I desire if they are capable of doing it right?? Who says “we don’t have time for that.” And I told them I wanted gel but meant gel acrylic, I just forgot to say that because I never get my nails done lol. So I was sat down and I asked the lady doing my nails a couple questions about different manicure options and she just looked at me and ignored both questions and motioned me to sit down. Like okay…. Then about 1 minute after she started I realized I forgot to tell them acrylic. She then rolled her eyes and sighed. Got up and ran to the guy who was originally rude to me and he came over and just stated “you didn’t say acryiclic.” And I apologized and informed him I never get my nails done so forgot to mention and he stated it again, I apologized, again. He then said I need to come back and make an appointment because they can’t do that right now. All of this was being said in a very rude manner. I was MORE than happy to leave, as I had already been treated like an extreme burden only 5 minutes in when this was supposed to be a relaxing treat for myself. Do NOT recommend. Seriously the rudest staff I’ve ever met at a place supposed to make you feel welcome and pampered.

Have never had gel put on my nails. Tech only said gel polish last longer. Now two weeks later found out have to use tools to remove gel from my natural nails. I will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!

I found a nail tech here, Kim, that I love and does amazing work for dip nails however she’s out of maternity leave and everyone else is terrible when you go in for service they don’t allow you to set an appointment and then turn you away because they don’t want to do the work. Clearly some businesses are not worried about keeping customers anymore.

I took my best friend to get our nails done here. We honestly only chose Venus Nails because we went on a Sunday and everything else was closed. Im so glad we went there! They girls who did our powder dip were amazing. I will not go anywhere else. I highly recommend Venus

First time visiting, and they exceeded my expectations. I didn’t pick up the lady’s name but she was very gentle and cordial with the drill while drilling my acrylics. I can affirm you will not be leaving this salon with bloody cuticles which is one of my main turn offs

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! i paid 90$ for nails and they broke off within 5 days!! i drove 40 minutes to get them fixed and they broke off within two days!! i tried to call expressing my frustration and the person was extremely rude and hung up on me. Too overpriced and bad quality. The guy who works there is extremely rude and unprofessional. there are better salons with better quality nails and more professional nail techs!!! When i called after they hung up they blocked my number!

Update: On March 1, 2021, I reached out to the owner of this business to get an understanding of what occurred during my daughters visit to the establishment. The owner was very apologetic and discussed some of the internal business challenges which lead to the events. While I understand the challenges of a popular business, the treatment of my daughter was unwarranted. The owner agreed and graciously apologized and offered a resolution to the error. The acknowledgment by the owner shows that he does care about the experience my daughter had at his establishment and he quickly sought a resolution to the issue that I am satisfied with. Thank you Venus Nails & Spa :-)-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------No excuse for terrible customer service! My daughter attends college at a nearby HBCU and visited this location to have her nails done. Upon arrival, her nails were removed and when she elected to have a certain service, she was informed that service would be $$100-$120. She asked the nail technician for another option and was then told to leave. She is a college student who cannot spare that amount of money on a service. The idea of removing the nails prior to discussing a cost is asinine!Instead of another option being offered at a lesser cost, she was asked to leave. She explained to me how terrible she felt, because she has never been treated this way for such a simple service.She does not have a license, so a friend dropped her off. So after this fiasco, she exited this business in shame to wait outside.After speaking with two other students, this is the norm for this business. It will never be normal for my daughter and this business or no other business has the right to treat anyone in such a cold calculating way.

Venus is very clean. Theyre following health department guidelines for covid. Ive been going here for several years, and they always do an excellent job. Also, they dont play terrible spa music. Its usually just pop music at a reasonable volume. Highly recommend this place & all its friendly nail techs!

I walked in this weekend and Loan did my nails and they are absolutely STUNNING. 10/10 will come in again and very professional and clean. Super sanitary and comfortable.

I LOVE Venus nails! They give the best pedicures that I have ever had! The manicures are great too, but the pedicures are soooo relaxing! Loan is amazing :)

For starters, the pictures they are using is NOT their work. The place is clean, however their customer service was bare minimum & the way my nails were done was awful. My $85 plain white acrylic set (overpriced to the max if you ask me) came out very thick & lopsided, as did my sisters. Maybe they came out that way because they were watching a show on their phones while doing our nails but who knows. I wish I would have read the reviews before visiting.

I’m so happy with my nails that Kim did. I had one reference photo, and she was able to recreate it quickly, precisely, and in the best way for my hands. I usually leave with some kind of dissatisfaction from other nails salons, but not today! I definitely found my new favorite nail tech.

I always get dip manicures and this is hands down the best place have gotten my nails done in the state. Theyre incredibly polite and do an amazing job. Loan (hope that is spelled correctly) is the real MVP 💅💪

The service was very slow, he cut my cuticles 3 times, the polish on my toes looked like something I could have done myself, and the only reason I gave it a two instead of one is because a different nail tech did a good job on my french manicure polish. They also overcharged for their services. The manicure and pedicure was supposed to be 50 and they charged 100. Would not reccomend.

I appreciate how well Venus did my nails! I gave them a 4-star revue because this was not my first time with Venus Nails. I had stopped coming about a year and a half ago because they were not consistent. I came today because they were the closes salon that did ombré nails. They charged me $70 which isn’t too bad. I don’t remember the nail tech’s name but he was very polite and listened to my idea.

Very friendly and professional staff. Pretty decor and a wide selection of options. My sister broke her nail off in an accident and they fixed it for her free of charge. The guy who works there does flawless nails, ask for him. Always happy with my nails, and they always last until I take them off.

It was my first time ever getting a full acrylic set and my nail tech did an awesome good. She was really good at small talk and the music was popping! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place and I will be going back soon. The only thing is I forgot to ask my nail techs name!

Wonderful experience with a male nail technician (I wish I’d gotten his name, He wears glasses, would love to have him again) in the midst of this pandemic.I really appreciate that they require all workers and clients to wear masks, have shields between the nail technicians and the clients and are appropriately distanced apart.I got a dip mani and it was done perfectly. Great attention to detail and did not go overboard with the nail drill. Prices are some of the most reasonable I’ve seen in the area for the quality of work.I will definitely be going back and supporting this wonderful salon!

The front desk guy was very rude and racially profiled me and my friend. I would never come back here after this experience it was horrible. When we left he sprayed the area we were sitting in with lysol and said out loud that you have to wipe up after girls like that when didn’t wipe up after anyone else while we were in there.

I have been coming to Venus for a couple of years on and off. I must say, they never disappoint and remind me why I should constantly come back. The Staff is professional and friendly, and the experience is definitely quality. Kim is especially a joy and her work is FIRE🔥 I recommend this establishment to any and everyone.

The work and quality of this place is always top tier, however, the customer service is beyond disgraceful every single time I come here. It will be my LAST TIME. I called and made an appointment for 10:30 a.m. My boyfriend and I arrived five minutes early to my appointment and was greeted by no one upon entering. 10 minutes pass and someone finally gets around to greeting us. As I go to sit down for my appointment, a white woman walks in and is greeted right away. Those small, yet subtle differences say so much without saying anything, and it is for that reason I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Venus always takes care of me! They serve soft beverages as well as mimosas! Very relaxing!

Nails are lip sided, was told dip was $40 and toes was $32 on the phone and asked in person then when checking out it’s $87. And it’s been ONE day my nails are cracking . Nope they will never have my business again. Theres definitely better nail places in Nashville. I highly do NOT recommend . Totally let down. Updateeeee now 2 days later and 2 nails have broke nowhere else they do this .

Kim is back from Miami, and she’s still amazing! I love this salon so much. Everytime I come, I am treated well and my nails are always beautiful. My favorites are Kim, Ivy, and Allen!

Very rude customer service

Great place to relax and get your nails done. My pedicure was quite exceptional. The young man who did my ped was quite thorough. He was not trying to rush through. He noticed I was quite sensitive and paid careful attention to that. Overall, I got good service for the price.

Ill be honest - when I drove up to this place, I almost turned away. Fortunately I looked past the exterior! I came as a walk in, waited less than 10 minutes, and Alan gave me the best manicure I have had in YEARS. He was very meticulous in getting every detail right. I will be back!

Vi is so sweet, kind and is very skilled, however I have had my nails done (dip powder) twice and the first time I had two nails that chipped/broke completely in half- vertically- and now I am one week post getting them done... 7 days and the dip is physically peeling off. I called to address above situation and the owner stated he did not have ANY time for me this coming Friday (accommodating my work schedule) and that I could just go somewhere else and that he didnt care....To the staff, I am so sorry you have such a terrible leader. You guys all deserve more.

Excellent service. I was a repeat, drop-in customer and every nail tech was great. Would definitely recommend, as long as youre not the entitled type who expects them to drop everything for you specifically. Employees were efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly even when I came in shortly before closing. Let them know if you have a problem and they will make it right (my polish once started peeling on a few fingers less than an hour after I left and they redid my entire manicure for free).

This was the best nail shop I’ve ever been to hands down! I got the powder dip for the first time ever and it was amazing. Never have my nails looked so great! The customer service was superb. He really recommended some great options for me. He was very knowledgeable about my nails when it came to taking care of them and suggested which polish had vitamins and minerals. It’s not crowded at all so I got 5 star treatment. They offered free beverages and the music they played was very up to date and great to vibe to. And they’re store is super cute and fancy!

Came in the day after getting a full set to allow them to fix a chipped nail, which shouldn’t have been chipped from jump after only one night . Called and told them I’d mine in at noon to get it fixed say there about 30mins . A couple of white woman came in to gt nails done after me & was sat down before me, when I called & told them, I’m only getting one nail fixed & still haven’t been seen been a whole hour now... just for one nail !?

I do a uv gel manicure, it lasts indefinitely until they remove it, so it helps your nails grow. I use bubble bath color, a little beautiful subtle pink, so when it grows out it is not even visible. My nails never looked so good

I went in for a nail repair on a cracked dip powered nail- only 1. He got me right in and didn’t charge me a thing! I didn’t even get my set done here the first time but I WILL be coming back. Thanks so much!

Unfriendly staff. First time I thought was a fluke. Second time, the man doing my pedicure did a poor job and was very rough on my feet. Water was too hot, didn’t care to turn down the temp or ask if I would like a drinks He Almost was upset I only got a regular pedicure, didn’t clean under my toe or bothered to get the prior polish off from previous pedi. He clipped my same toe twice and didn’t apologize. My friend asked me if he did that on purpose! I asked for my nails to be smoothed out and he didn’t even care to respond, acted like he was filing the but didn’t. I won’t be back. It’s a shame bc it’s right by my office

Save your money and do your own nails.I went to this nail salon for 2.5 years only because of one person in the shop who no longer works here. I would not trust anyone in this store to do my nails because of what I’ve seen over the years. Customers walk out without getting their cuticles cut with a manicure and paint on their skin and seen employees who are rude to their customers. Basically, if you want a decent nail job in Nashville, don’t waste your money and go to Champagne Nails or Nail Bar.

Then when I told her I wanted my nails short she was rude and said, you should of told me. She had only filed 2 nails! Listen to the reviews. After working hard all day I wont subject myself to rudeness. I will never go back!

Waited for almost an hour without anyone acknowledging us. Seemed to be a lack of technicians for a Saturday morning. The space was clean, however, and looked inviting and official.

I stopped by Venus Nails at 6:20 on a very busy Thursday afternoon for a dip manicure. I was super impressed by how maticulous Alan was!! Despite being tired and working late, he still made sure to provide a quality manicure! I felt terrible for right at close, but I was so thankful that they took me in!!! These guys are so nice and they do awesome work!!! Great salon. Highly recommend.

So I was really excited to go here after reading some of the reviews. I went there to get acrylic with gel polish. I will NEVER be going back. Worst service ever. I sat down with the lady who was doing my nails and she looked as if she wanted to be anywhere else but helping me. She kept telling me I waited too long to get a fill. When she put the polish on, it was the wrong color. I told her that it was not the color I chose and she snapped back, yes it was! Later on, she messed up a couple nails multiple times and was getting frustrated by having to redo it. She kept acting like it was my fault, not because she had left air pockets when doing the acrylic. When she was finished, my nails were dripping in oil and I had to wipe my hands. The paint job was subpar, blotchy and uneven. When I went to pay, she said $50.00. (I have never paid over $35.00 for this service and I have been getting it done for 5 years and have been to many places) She responded You get this done to your nails, you should know how much it costs! I could not believe that. She asked me where else I have gotten them done before where it was less. I said I never paid more than $35.00 when I lived in D.C. She said Oh, thats why, D.C. is so cheap. Being one of the most expensive cities and a reason I moved away, I was shocked. When she printed out the receipt, she leaned over the counter to watch what I put for a tip. It was extremely uncomfortable. I am very bummed as I was hoping this would be my new nail spot but I will never be returning.

So in terms of skills I would give a four or five star but in terms of customer service they get a ZERO. The male greeter is prejudice point blank and the period! How he greets black clientele versus white clientele is noticeable I have been there on several occasions and I have noticed that each and every single time. He watches you like a hawk while you pick out your nail color and asked you if he can help you as if you didn’t just tell him what you are there for or like you came to steal nail polish. Then he rushes you out and asks to pay before your nails are dry causing you to mess them up in the process. Then when you ask for them to be redone he catches an attitude. I pay at least $85 every time I go in there and I refuse to spend my hard earned money being treated like a second-class citizen. They will never get my service again and I will be telling every black woman I know about my experiences there.
