If I could leave a negative review, I probably would. I reserved a car a few days ago, received a confirmation email and no confirmation number showed up in the email. So they took my money, didnt have a car reserved for us upon arrival. Now our plans for our trip were ruined for the day. Thankfully AVIS BUDGET had a car readily available and competitively priced to salvage our day. Long story short, yall just suck entirely.
Buyer beware!! Substandard business. We paid for a car in advance and arrived at Hertz to discover that they had no cars and had not notified anyone in advance. I incurred $300 in Uber expenses plus $700 to fly out of another city because I didnt have the rental car I had reserved, paid for in advance and planned on. Not only did Hertz not notify us in advance that they did not have cars but also ignore my inquiries since the incident.
In Nashville Customer service was great, plus she upgraded me too nicer car
Had a one-way rental and dropped the vehicle off here. Staff is very helpful and ran me back to my car which was in a repair shop. Thanks Hertz team for your help and keep up the good work.
This place STOLE our money. We reserved a rental then PAID. We decided not go do this and rental and demand a refund. But they still have not given us a refund!!! They need to return my money. We received a confirmation # from them and STILL WAITING ON OUR REFUND now its 2021!!!! Never again will we even attempt to rent from them EVER!!!!!!!!!!! THIS REFLECTS THE ENTIRE COOPERATION INCLUDING THEIR EMPLOYEES AND MANAGEMENTservices!
Worst experience ever. Went to pick up reserved car at 4:30pm and they closed at noon for weather. How about ensuring your reservations were aware or taken care of since you have all of our contact info already????

Make sure the car you reserve is available at location before you pay. Check receipt after you have booked. Prices changed. Take GPS $85 OFF and use your phone instead. Make sure youre not charged airport fee if you arent picking up from airport. Disappointed in Hertz!

Wanted to give them 2 stars because the way I was talked to on the telephone but this whole deal was set up through my insurance company State Farm and then once upon getting there the gentleman that took care of me was much friendlier and nicer than the person I talked to on the phone earlier in the day. they did reminiscent of a Seinfeld episode not have the car that I had requested at the time I made the reservation 2 weeks ago. They did have something similar and they were quick and efficient getting the out of there so I will cut them some slack and make it 3 stars, average
As with lots of reviews on here, had a confirmed reservation. I arrived and was told there were no cars available.
Staff has changed since the last time I was here and for the better. The time spent waiting was much less than before. They were hard working and courteous, doing what they could to help us get back on the road.
This place was so kind and helped family member using walker to rental and even put it in back for them. This place comes highly recommended. Thanks for your kindness and patience.

The best car rental experience imaginable! Every one was out of cars at the airport... came here, short ride, and they went out and got us a car - even though they were out. Free upgrade. Great price. So friendly! Return easy and got us a ride to the airport!! Wow! Thank y’all!!
Jeremy was extremely helpful, helping me get into a car last minute. The Branch Manager was great helping us return it. We received friendly, professional service with zero issues and will definitely use their services when we are in the area having our semi repaired at the local Volvo dealership.
They have the best deals by far! We had looked at a 2014 Nissan Quest with 80,000 miles and a lot of interior flaws for $16,000. We found a 2017 Nissan Quest with Hertz for the same price with 40,000 less miles. They gave us amazing service through the entire process. I highly recommend coming here when getting a used vehicle.

I am being charged for pet hair cleanup $200. I didn’t have a pet in the vehicle, and I called right after I picked up to tell them how dirty the vehicle was. There were French fries and m&m under the seats and in the in floor storage. I also kept the last 6 renters receipts with their names and information as proof they don’t clean, receipts date back to August. So the $200 is being stolen. I will be contacting the police department to report this as theft of funds. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
The men are always helpful and very professional. The cars are always clean. I never have issues with making a reservation. I would most definitely continue renting cars from them.

Reserved a car for a week because a part for my personal vehicle was unavailable. I reserved it 3 days ahead of time and at 630am the day i was to pick up the car, the store manager, in a very cavalier manner via voicemail stated, We are overbooked and dont have a car for you.Of course i tried to call back, but the individual stores dont get those calls, a call center does.The barely understandable woman was pleased to let me know that she did have a car for me. 1- the car was miles further than the original rental location.2- the weekly price quoted $240++ for the week in a compact car. The one i reserved at the Briley pkwy location was $112++.She didnt see any issue whatsoever with the entire situation. After a short debate/explanation the call was over. As well as my dealings with this company. Dont reserve vehicles if you dont have them. Simple.

Eventhough I couldnt get my car on time, they tried to assist me pick up car and accept the drop off. I forgot my camera and was kept safe there and returned with responsibility.

My service through the Hertz Office on Briley Pkwy in Nashville was A1 ! The entire experience was a total relaxing and delightful choice of rental car companies . Hertz is pathetic and have continued to get even worse as they have the market on auto rentals. You better make sure you get it back on time are they will send law enforcement and practically the department of Justice after you. The rental office out of Oklahoma City is pathetic as is she is... She is the office manager in Oklahoma City. I would walk before I rent another car ever from Hertz.
When I first picked up my rental car the inside was disgusting and was not clean by any means . I have had my rental car for about a month now and was told that the authorization on my card would be $50 which was a charge of $69. I looked up this branch’s phone number and called them somehow I got transferred to someone in the Philippines who could not find my reservation with all the information that was needed and then proceeded to tell me that I had to drive to the location I rented it from to get my question answered And that they are open Monday through Friday starting at 7:30. I work full-time I don’t have time to go babysit them I was just trying to get a simple answer over the phone. After speaking with her which was no help I tried calling again and got the busy tone about 5 times before someone finally answered and said, “I can’t help you right now I have a customer checking in.” Don’t rent from Hertz they have terrible customer service!

Gold member or not, dont expect your car pickup to be ready on time. Book a week early, wait 2 hours after scheduled pickup time. I recommend free upgrade or whatever it takes to stay on time for your customer.

Got a rental due to my car being damaged just to receive a damaged car from the rental company. Smh thank GOD I was not paying for it.
I had a reservation through the insurance and I called them to see about the rental...the man said all the cars had been rented... Whats the point in reservation if they rent cars that are supposed to be reserved? Told me to call back later to see what they had available. Im not happy because Im in need of transportation. This is bad business. I will not rent from them unless the insurance is paying them..

I only put one star because no stars wasn’t an option. Hayman Eli, the manager of this location, has got to be the absolute WORST businessman I’ve encountered in all of my days. It’s obvious he doesn’t want to do his job..or any job for that matter. He is arrogant, deceitful and extremely rude. It took me over 3 hours to get a car for my daughter. And once I finally did, I was lied to numerous times. Extra charges, unbeknownst to me, were taken out of my account with no explanation.Hayman’s business practices were so shady that another customer felt the need to video record our conversation where Eli promised to delete charges. I am still stuck with these charges nearly a month later.Please.Save your time and your money. Choose another location.

Rented a 7 passenger SUV three days prior to pick up only for this location not to have one. The rude employees at the desk told me to sit and wait to see if one came back early, that was their only solution. I had a two hour drive with a band and 3 hours to get there...not the time to wait and see. I had to lug over 100lbs of gear to other rental places in the airport to check on availability. Luckily National Rental had a T Class available or we could have lost thousands of dollars. Unacceptable.

Waited over an hour, the driver was the manager who smelled of weed and and cigarettes. clothes looked like he had slept in them, put me in a compact size car, which i was suppose to get an i-car, tried to charge me more cause they didnt have the i-car. thats not how this works. if you dont have it you upgrade for free... thats what enterprise does. but no i get a car that i cant even fit in. my knees are hitting the steering wheel and dashboard, yes my seat is all the back. and the car was also dirty, the guy who returned the was still in the lobby when they put me in it. who doe this really?? called the manager he stated he would fix the problem but it was never fixed. instead i called the insurance company and they canceled my rental with hertz and got me one at enterprise. much better experience.!

Hertz get your stuff togetherWe called Hertz on Sunday night, must have been the customer service since it was after hours, to reserve a a car Monday morning. And confirmed pick up for 7:30am when they opened. So we Ubered there and upon arrival, they told us they didnt have the car and it would not be ready until 11am. Despite have other vehicles there that were in the next price range class up, they didnt offer to upgrade for the inconvenience, or any solution at that. So this screwed my husband and mines works day, had to take another uber, seperate, to work and another to get back for the rental. They also claimed we had to pay the additional charges of using there insurance and that we could not use are own. The staff at this location should be looked at for their terrible customer service. Also if this location and their headquarters are not able to communicate then something is seriously wrong with the company.And to top it off when the car was returned the next day, the customer in front of me was also told their car was not available even though they had papers for the reservation.
Dont go here if you actually want to rent a car. I made a reservation two weeks ago and paid for it. When i went to pick it up, i was told there were no cars (even though the lot was FULL of cars). I was given the option to wait for an undetermined amount of time for a smaller car than i reserved to be returned or I could go downtown (in rush hour traffic) and get a much larger car than i wanted. Theyll take your money for the rental instantly but you have to wait five to seven business days to get it back. The worst part - no call to even let me know the vehicle was not available. Waste of time.
Called before closing time and they had turned off their phones to route all calls to the call center out of the country. The employees dont seem to want to work for the customers.
On the bad side: Booked through Expedia for NAshville airport. Walked out of the plane - Hertz counter at the aiport: Your reservation is not here, this location is a few miles away...tried to sort things out but the rate I had was not valid at the airport itself...also, I had paid already insurance for this very specific reservation through Expedia so I could not just take another one. I ended up with multiple reservations and cancellations all over the place and spending $20+tip anyway in taxi to get there :(On the good side: the agent at the desk (Mason) was very kind and helpful in sorting things out.

This car rental company has to be the most unprofessional and disorganized company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with! They never have cars available no matter how far in advance you give notice. This is my second time trying to work with Hertz. The first time we waited almost an hour for someone to show up at the front desk and were pulled over and almost given a ticket in our rental because they didnt have the correct license on the car. I am officially done with this company!
