I have always liked Planet Fitness and have been a member on and off for years. This previous time signing up I was looking for a low cost gym which I thought Planet Fitness was. In the span of 2.5 months I was charged over $100 because of multiple fees. Just FYI, you will get charged an annual fee 2 months after signing up on the first of that month! So if you sign up June 30, youll be charged an annual fee on August 1st :) Planet Fitness is no longer about being a low cost gym, they are about getting money just like everyone else. The only reason the annual fee is charged 2 months (or less) after signing up is so that if you cancel after a few months, dont worry, theyve already charged you for your annual fee.

Deandre stays in the back the whole time in the morning. I spent an hour at the gym without see a single worker. I had to call the gym while I was standing inside of it just to get him to come out front. I asked him to help me do a transfer and set up app he wasn’t willing to assist at all. He just told me to “call” my old gym. Then proceeded to go back to wherever he is hiding at. How am I supposed to use any of my black card membership privileges if no one is ever at the desk to assist me.

Could have had more free weights equipments and issued towels for the members. Good for finding a location to workout temporarily if you are traveling.

For the price... You cant beat that1. thing its not 24/7 anymore2. The 30 minute workout is waisting space... nobody uses it.3. No rowing machines (personal preference)4. It would be nice to have a punching bag.5. Let us use the water fountain please

Amazing gym. The first day I was absolutely blown away. And they let me lift super heavy weights, which other gyms get mad about.

Love this planet fitness in Naperville off Ogden. I believe hes the general manager always working, always says hello regardless who you are, cleaning, making sure the place is kept clean along with the other staff. Best planet fitness around. Definitely happy I transferred to this planet fitness.

The atmosphere here makes it easy to focus on your own work out and not get distracted by others. Plenty of sanitizing stations around the machines which is nice. Locker room has always been clean any time I’ve been in. Lots of TVs by the cardio machines so if you’re like me and get bored easily with cardio you have something to keep you distracted. No complaints from me!

Cleanest gym I’ve been to! Well maintained machines

Anytime fitness is still available for members 24 hours a day.it is a bit more expensive, but they have more than twice the locations for travelers. From first hand experience, many of their facilities can be considered superior to planet fitness accommodations.I have belonged to both locations for many years, and I have been deciding on which one to cut. You can thank the planet fitness in Wyoming Michigan for helping me make my decision to leave planet fitness all together.

Overall average gym experience, nothing special. Place wasn’t dirty, nor was it too clean. Not too crowded, but not too empty. Staff is chill, and overall just an average experience. Would recommend it to anyone that wants an average experience for a good price.

There’s also a wide array of professional equipment to choose from no matter what type of workout you’re looking to do. They have everything !

I really like this gym, but they are not following CDC guidelines. Every time Im there you can see so many people that do not have their masks on fully over their nose and mouth. Staff is doing NOTHING to monitor or correct that. The only reason I started patronizing this business is because they promised that they were doing everything to keep things clean. They have got to be more diligent or they are going to have a major outbreak

Don’t bother paying for the “black card” which is the more expensive membership. Any time you want to tan there’s either nobody at the front desk or they put you in a dirty bed.

The gym is always clean. Staff is always friendly and there to greet me as I walk in. Patiently waiting for the gym to go back to 24 hours as I work late during the week! Always a great experience here! 💪🏼

Clean - clear distinction about social distancing. Plenty of other members, but it did not feel crowded. It feels good to be back.

It’s okay, but if you are a white male over 45 you can wear your mask however you want or not at all and no staff will say anything (in my experience twice a week the last two weeks (small sample size)). Very annoying and concerning. (I should clarify only old white men were wearing them incorrectly or taken off. Everyone else had no problem following the rules)

I think they need to increase the time limit which will split the crowd..if not 24 hr atleast open at 5 am and close at 12 am which can help in reducing the number of people coming together........I wish to do workout after 8 pm...but I m forced to come earlier time which leads to crowded environment......the only reason I started was 24 hrs......overall its my best place....

The crowd meter is a great feature on the Planet fitness app. Also a lot of equipment and very clean. Everytime Im at Planet fitness I see the employees cleaning.

I like that there are plenty of exercise machines, treadmills, and free weights. Everyone there does their workouts with no drama (or grunts).

I just love planet fitness! The service and equipment u get in this price is amazing!!! Stop looking at those expensive gyms! Just do ur thing here as everything is available from locker rooms, shower, plenty of cardio and weight equipment

Out of all the Planet’s I’m my area this one is my favorite. Pre covid it was always SUPER CLEAN especially the locker room!

In the COVID era, this location does as good as a job as they possibly can making sure patrons feel safe. They are quick to make sure guests are always wearing a mask (it sucks, but we all have to do it). The staff are always friendly, and they are constantly wiping the machines and equipment down with cleaner. I feel very safe going to this gym during this pandemic timeframe.

Equipment is always in working condition. Not like other gyms were half the equipment doesn’t work. Highly recommended.

The gym is good, but closes too early, this used to be 24 hrs, in pandemic times at least be open till midnight. Other PF gyms are open 24 hrs.

Still requiring masks to be worn while working out even though it isnt locally mandated and even though their corporate website says masks dont need to be worn while working out. Im all for wearing them while walking in and out by people but if Im actively working out why doesnt the state mandate apply to this club?

It took me a while to figure out why I am not a fan of this PF location but it’s because the machines are placed to close together and there is too much stimulus. They have TVs on the treadmills as well as TVs coming from the wall also all of the weight machines are clustered too close together.

Very clean, friendly and helpful club to workout at. Many cleaning stations to allow customers to wipe equipment before and after using...the employees are also consistently walking around wiping down machines. I feel very safe working out here!

I prefer this location to others in the area because its always clean, never too crowded and the staff is always friendly and nice.

Terrible customer service I froze my membership and then a week later $40 was taken out of my account then I called to speak to somebody about it and was given a poor explanation and then hung up on by somebody named Chris who was extremely unprofessional and then continuously hung up on every time I called back. I then had to call from another phone in order to slightly figure out what had happened, but apparently there’s not even a manager on staff on the weekends . I do not recommend going to this gym even post Covid. Once again this employees name was Chris and in my opinion should not have a job at planet fitness and should be terminated! In this unique time customer service is extremely important especially when it comes to a gym and Chris demonstrated the worst customer service I have ever Experienced and now not only will I freeze my account but because of him specifically will not cancel my membership.

A great way to lose weight

Best place Ive ever joined. I would recommend it to everyone. Cleanest gym Ive ever seen. This place is so clean, members will wipe down the equipment after use because they would feel guilty if they didnt. Staff is friendly, no pressured sales. There is nothing I do not like about Planet Fitness.

Great no frills gym. Plenty of equipment. A few simple classes. No pool. Cant beat $10 per month membership. Also a higher level membership, Black, for slightly more. Allows you to go to any PF you like.

Covid hours don’t allow me to get to the club on sundays

Ive always liked this gym. Now during covid, they have all the cardio equipment spaced out and they give you a bottle of cleaner.

This Planet Fitness is great! Very clean and the staff is super nice. The assistant manger Mike in particular is especially helpful and nice. Overall a great place to workout :)

It has been a game changer for me working with Kyle to accomplish my goal of loosimg weight and regulate my blood pressure. He is knowledgeable, flexible and very understanding. I was not comfortable just going to the gym not knowing how to go about realising my goal. Kyle has helped me every step of the way. Great job coach 👍.

Very reasonable rates

No Star. This guys are taking the money from me even though I am not using the Gym. I have not used the gym for more than one year and sent request for termination through mail two months back but still they have not stopped. When called they simply say they have not received any letter. How can they miss only the letter which ask for membership termination. All who has given good reviews, please try to cancel your membership. Then only you will come to know about the bad business practices.

One of the better managed and attended to of the Planet Fitness in the area. Following their remodel last year the space has become a little more crowded but they have plenty of parking always, lots of machines and free weights, and a good section for cross fit work. Also a 24/7 & 7 days a week gym which is great for those who work out at odd hours.

We joined this gym after our local Charter Fitness shut its doors. Overall, we are really happy with the facility. It has all the basic cardio and weight machines you need. My husband was super nervous about joining after reading about the lunk alarm because it seemed to be a way of keeping people from working out TOO hard. But we have never seen it used and everyone at the gym just seems really chill. Facilities are nice and clean, too.

Went here with a friend for a day trial. Their staffs were very professional and kind. Good working machines and was highly maintained.

This place looks really good after the recent remodeling. It is absolutely worth $10 a month. I also recently had to cancel since I am moving out of town (new place includes gym), and the process was super friendly and easy. This place is legit. I have never had to wait for a machine (although there are busy times). They do a good job of repairing machines and nothing is ever really out for too long. Again, I recommend this place!

I like Planet Fitness Naperville because it’s a welcoming environment, it’s clean, there’s no sales pitches, and I look forward to the hydro beds and massage chairs everytime!

My girlfriend and I were traveling and we stayed at a nearby hotel. We walked over to this planet fitness and it was great for the couple days we were there! Decent amount of cardio equipment to use as well as many machines/free weights.

Has all the weight and cardio equipment that I need. Black Card membership is worth it if you like to bring a guest or change gym locations. Some variation in equipment and amenities between different locations.

A nice clean gym at a very fair and affordable price. A good place for body shaping and weight training, but should be avoided by overly serious body builders and weight/power lifters.Could use more equipment and options for many muscles and groups, especially lower abdominals.Some of the staff come off as being a bit snooty and stuck up, but others seem to be down to earth. Definitely worth a look if you are looking for a nice, low pressure environment to do your routine.

I just like the fact that its cheap and I can get a run in without being cold in the winter. Did enough freezing as a teenager 😂

This is not my home PF, but I go twice a week when I get a break from work. Nice being the only one their at 230am. The place is newly remodeled and bathrooms are nice and clean. I love the monkey bar/rope room. Definitely the best PF in the Aurora/Naperville area.

The pro is the cheap price. But this club suffers from the same problem as much clubs today, although it may be worse at PF. Ive never seen anyone monitoring the floor, so you get a lot of people who sit on machines, pull out their cell phones, and then yell at you if ask to do just one quick set. Member etiquette is poor. I guess you go at 3am you can do a workout in a reasonable time.

Great place for no frills workout. Never have a problem getting on equipment that I need. Plenty of cardiovascular and weighs I need. Friendly and helpful staff, now I just have to get in there more often, pretty simple right.

Great place to workout at a cheap price. They are currently renovating and just got brand new exercise equipment. Been lifting here for almost 10 years and the staff has always been friendly and kept a clean gym and good atmosphere for anyone to workout in.

I love PF! I’ve never had any issues at this gym and I always feel welcomed! I love the “no gymtimidation” slogan and how people with different body types, workout styles, and who go at different paces can come here and feel comfortable while working out; not feel judged or like they’re being stared at by people who are in very good physical shape. The equipment is always working and in good condition, up to date (as far as not being stuff from the 80s), and clean. They are very good at sending members emails to notify of any changes going on so we can plan accordingly and the staff is absolutely phenomenal!!! Everything about this location is great and although another location recently opened a little closer to where I live, I alway drive the extra mile or so to come to this one! :)

Generally a reasonable place to work out. The price is good and the equipment is sufficient. What is really annoying ...and the staff does not address when a complaint is made:: the high high high number people who park themselves on a machine and play with their cell phone, send a text, read a message Etc and theyre not being productive at all. I go there to work out in a quick fashion, and get to work. Ive even complained to the staff and they say well we cant really say anything to them or else then theyll write a bad review about us. Seriously? How rude of people to just park themselves on machines, play with their phones and ignore the fact that theyre preventing someone else from working out ...RUDE RUDE RUDE

I love using the treadmill while watching TV, and they recently added individuals TV for every treadmills and elliptical. They also have treats for every second day of the month. $20 a month and you can bring a friend at all time. Plus, you get to use their tanning, massage chain and other perks if you this membership.Pretty good deal in my opinion

Wasnt explained to me that the annual fee wouldnt be charged only if you cancel five days or earlier before the charge date, I thought it could be any point before it. Now Im being charged $40 for absolutely nothing, shouldve gotten an email reminder or anything to tell me that it has to be five days.

I feel so much less stress having my work outs here. The staff is professional, kind, and cares about members

Ive been going to Planet Fitness in Naperville for the last 8 years. Its always been a great gym and a welcoming atmosphere, but the remodel took it to a new level. New equipment, a beautiful locker room, and the fanciest tanning beds Ive ever seen. Its the best value without a doubt!

The facility is awesome, but the General Manager is a douche who has no idea how to deal with customers or run a facility. He hasnt even had manager experience prior; he worked as overnight for 8 months at a different facility. Treat your customers with respect, and leave your personal feelings out of your job. He overloads overnight employees with work and understaffs to save money. Hes anal-retentive and needs to be replaced with someone more suited for this kind of position.

I dont care what anyone says about PF, Im a HUGE fan. Im not a juice head so I dont care what some swelled ape says about PF not being a real gym. They have everything I need to keep myself in decent shape. Plenty of cardio options. Free weights. Machines... Free tanning and hydro therapy massage with black card membership. For an average person who just wants to get/stay in shape, you cant beat the place!

Beware, this place isnt really a gym but rather a lounge for 65 + and anyone looking for free pizza and bagels.This morning the tall, early morning manager didnt like me breathing heavy while on his beloved chest machine and so without as much as even a simple courtesy pardon me, sounded the obnoxiously- loud hazzard alarm as to shame me for oversight.Im over 50yr and fit, and no where near a so-called lunk but that douchebag still couldnt help him self.Membership cancelled.
