Great place to get your dental work done. I was pleased on how quickly they get the job done! I went in about a week and a half ago. Just wanted to leave my good review. Norma is a very sweet caring worker. Thank you. When you have caring people it makes you feel welcomed and wanted and not scared. Bree is also very helpful.I would recommend anyone here❤️ the only downside is they need an upgrade on the equipment.but over all satisfied.

Just listen to the reviews and DO NOT GO HERE. Very unprofessional and are very aggressive when cleaning your teeth... Everytime I leave my gums are severely sore when. They are also very rude and think they have the right to talk down to you about your teeth. It is never ok to berate someone about their teeth, doesnt matter how bad. Do not go here, there are better options out there.

Bree was very helpful and accommodating to my family. We were quickly seen by Dr. Shah. The dental staff was very patient with my 4 year old during the x-rays. No over crowding or long wait. Dr. Shah gave me an amazing teeth clean check up. I am looking forward to being my family back every 6 months. I highly recommend Dr. Shah and her team for family dental routine check ups and comprehensive dental work.

Dr. Modi and Staff were all awesome !! I had been seen twice by another Doctor who could not complete a root canal, but Dr. Modi went in there and worked very hard to get it done. It was challenging to locate.And though he had to stay late to finish, he didnt hurry or do a rush job. We went into Heritage Dental for my two year old daughter’s first cleaning. The receptionist was so sweet at welcoming! She set the tone and my daughter really liked her. Afterwards we met the hygienist who was also very sweet and explained, to my daughter, the process. The whole time she was gentle and gave my daughter words of encouragement the whole way through. At the end, the dentist came and checked my daughter’s teeth and was also nice. My daughter had a great experience and was real excited about how well everything went. I highly recommend!

I recently switched over to this dental office after being recommended by a family friend and I can honestly state that the staff and services here are above and beyond. I highly recommend this dental office because the staff here PRIORITIZES their patients and makes sure that they are always comfortable and pain-free. I have noticed the tremendous difference in quality and pride that the dentist take in their hard work at this office in comparison to other dental offices which makes me proud to be a loyal and returning patient. Prior to the change of dental offices, I was a client at, Western Dental, a well known dental office. The staff at the prior office treated me horribly and harsh as they would not take my opinion in consideration and left me feeling neglected and alone. I originally had a root canal procedure that was supposed to take place at the previous dental office but the staff at Western Dental did not communicate with me enough or listen to my concerns as I began to feel pain in the lower jaw. During a follow-up appointment due to pain, I communicated with them about the unbearable tooth pain that I had yet they did not prescribe antibiotics until I had to call in once more. The pain and infection began to spread more which eventually led to swelling of my lower jaw. I called the dental offices at Heritage Plaza Dental and they instantly gave me a next day appointment to be viewed by the dentist because of the swelling that I had. The dentist was very gentle and understanding about any concerns that I had as my questions were always answered with reassuring responses. I was prescribed antibiotics that made the swelling and infection decrease immensely. They completed my root canal procedure and have left me feeling more confident and grateful for having found this amazing dental office.

So back dating late June 2018 I was sent here per insurance with denti-cal to this place. I was seen first by Dr Shah, who I had seen great reviews. But after all of the Horrific event leading to this review I would highly recommend going somewhere else! Honestly. Idly comes Down to the money and your insurance. Insurance wise. Due to the fact on how much they will get from your insurance company and how MUCH They will be payed.I came here originally for a root canal which I cancelled today and after the days and hours waiting for the approval they wouldn’t work with me for a payment plan. Because the give a “discount” which is still $900 for a crown(now they said I also need 4 total which is more money to be payed to theme=$3,600)So my initial appointment Dr. Shah said she can do some filling and my tooth cleaning rather then my other dentist who referred me out. Since I would be needing it before I were to have a root canal. -So I get the cleaning next appointment is the fillings which was a nightmare!!!!Let me tell you, Almagam which is only covered by dentical aka medi-cal, is what they is and very dangerous and not used now a days!! My last dentist who is at Coast dental in Temecula whom did a beautiful job used the white fillings, go to them in Temecula. They cover the cost for the white fillings and accept Denti-cal aka medi-cal.Dr shahs office didnt tell me they would use this first of all. Nor gave me the option to pay more for the white fillings. So they did this with out my consent or consultation-and left my with continuous bleeding and to this very day they still bleed.Then they have the nerve to say well dr. shah went too deep and might have hit your root.So I was in pain medication and antibiotics since she gave my tooth an infection! And should have never done the fillings in the first place, is what my primary dentist had said, and ALSO these people are just a regular dentist and are on hurt for the money $$$ to be paid out for the insurance. So I’m sure they got away for 5-7 fillings. =over $1,500So during the weekend of having so much pain in July I came in on an emergency visit because I can’t tell you how much pain I was reAlly in. Dr shah came in to the room. Sat down and was like so we need to do all root canals. I said no. And I won’t come back. Next she said maybe you have pressure in you tooth.She come back with floss put it in between my tooth and twist it 3-4X and yanks it out!!! My tooth gushes blood. They take more X-rays and of course charge the insurance company yet again. And said I probably have an infection and gave me antibiotics. Dr. Shah came back. After I had argued the fact they did this to me with out a consultation, and she has ruined my beautiful teeth.(When you use amalgam they cut out so much of your tooth out it’s damaging and only left with horrible silver filling she did a whack job)Dr. Shah wrote the RX AND THREW it AT ME AND TOOK OFF. I have never in my life been ever so treated this way.So it gets better. She never wrote out the full and correct RX SO THE CVS had to wait to call her the next day for the medication and I went home with only 2 out of the 3.So my last note on this is I canceled my appointment today for the last time. No root canal. No more money for them. I recommend with all my power not to come here.They could have been upfront with me and have done a consultation for the full root canal before a zillion X-rays and bills sent to my insurance company. Marleen the front my desk receptionist was rude and so condescending.They offered me a temporary crown since I couldn’t afford it. And she made it t a point this time not to offer it again due to the fact the endodontist will. It do a root canal per there rules and demand you to pay $300-600 up from and expect you to pay 2 weeks later. For my situation it is not possible. So I’ll take my business somewhere else.As well as the other review from someone else. I will not take this review down.Please check out the original yelp review. All bad responses.

Everyone is always pleasant to me as well as my daughter. While I am getting work done they allow her to sit with me. And ask how I am doing. Marlene is nice as well we always have a good conversation when I come in.

I had been coming to Heritage Dental for several years. It was close by and took my insurance. In the end I was many issues with teeth due to dry mouth and my medications. Nevertheless... I needed lots of work that my insurance would not cover. I understand I need to make arrangements with office. However the receptionist and the Doctor don’t listen when I explained I needed to break up the payments. They just kept insisting they wanted half now and half on the next appointment. Then the dr. Said I needed a root canal and a crown where I was having pain. I decided at that point to get a second opinion. I went to Castleview Dental. The best Dental office ever!!! The Doctor was very patient and informative. And looked at all my x-rays. He looked at the spot where my prior dentist said I needed a root canal. He checked the area throughly. He stated you don’t need a root canal. Just a crown. I had brushed to hard over the area and my gum wore away. That was all. I decided to stop Heritage Dental

Weve always had very pleasant visits at this dentist- Everyone from the front and back are very professional, polite, nice and patience with us- Dr. Shah is very kind, sweet and patience with my 6 year old daughter, and every visit we go she always explains and keeps me informed about whats going on with my childs teeth development. We do recommend Dr Shah 100% - My child has been going to her since she was almost 3 years old and she is never afraid of going to her visits. Thank you Dr. Shah and your team!

I couldn’t be more grateful for the great care and service I received from Dr. Shah & staff. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon at their closing time. They went out of their way to stay and help me with my emergency even though I was a walk in, new patient and with no dental insurance. Very professional, friendly and great with kids. I highly recommend Heritage Dental. They take Denti-Cal and they are great with communication. We recieve reminder calls every time my Son is due for an appointment, which is convenient. I like that they are not pushy with children that are having a hard time and are ways willing to make future appointments to try again so as not to create a bad experience.

Terrible wait time and service. My appt was at 2:00. When the office opens back up after lunch. I was there at 1:45. The door was open so I went inside and signed in. There was no one else there. A short while later another lady comes in and signs in and then a few minutes after her another lady comes and signs in. At 2 o’clock I was taken back and put in the farthest chair. After me the other two ladies were also brought back and put in their perspective chairs. When the dentist was ready she went to one of the other ladies first and I was still waiting in my chair. At 2:25 I still had not seen the dentist. I finally set up and asked when was somebody going to be there. The dentist spoke up and said I’ll be there in five minutes. St 2:40 I was still sitting in the chair waiting. I got up and walked out. If you going to triple book for the same time slot the least you can do is see the person who signed in first.

The Dentist and the staff are all very nice, helpful and very professional. I would recommend this Dental office to anyone who was looking for a good Dentist.

I had a lot of work done with her... She cracked my tooth and more than one filling has already fallen out. She also let her hand slip and nicked my cheek with the drill. On other occasion, I had constant pain in a back tooth and she refused to believe there could be any reason for it other than an unrelated wisdom tooth that she wanted me to pull. Another dentist found that the tooth I claimed was the problem had a gum infection all around it and just needed to be scaled and treated with antibiotics. My father also had dentures done with her and they never fit well. Stay away. Im very sorry I went back to her as long as I did.

Real good experience with staff.Dentist was personable and professional. I would recommend them to everyone. I miss posted earlier and wrote a bad review ment for a different Dr and medical group.

I was referred here for a root canal under medi-cal and would recommend people be wary. In my case it appears they tried to take advantage of insurance and also overcharge me. I am glad I called insurance before moving forward. They had no idea about the crown processIn my original consult for a root canal they recommend a deep cleaning. I told them I had just received a standard cleaning and was scheduled for a deep cleaning by my regular dentist the following week. They tried to authorize both of these procedures without my request and I received letters of denial. Odd.What was never discussed was the cost to finish my root canal. I arrived on the date of appointment and was sent to complete the root canal without ever receiving paperwork showing the crown cost. I became suspect they were hiding something.I asked for the different crown options. The metal crown covered 100% by Medi-cal and the cost to upgrade to pfm crowns. They brought out paperwork quoting $1050 for a pfm crown...absolutely the highest price they could quote.I understand that a crown can cost that much but usually in a facility with modern equipment. This place had chairs that were 25 years old with holes in the vinyl. The spitoon area covered with clear tape. I checked past dental records and found they were charging about $500 more than my previous dentist who performed the exact same procedure on my opposing tooth. Surprisingly the less expensive dentist in Costa Mesa had a much cleaner and modern facility.I am still waiting for my root canal

The receptionist was very rude and would not listen to what we needed to be worked on and just asked us to come in. When we got there the dentist took one look at the problem and said, I cant fix this you need a specialist which was what we were telling the receptionist. They made us waste our time and we walked out still in pain.

I had to have several difficult procedures and the doctor and the staff are patient and dont rush.they make sure you are not in unnecessary pain, which is important to any patient.they are understanding about schedule changes and the staff is very nice.

Poor service, less than adequate dentistry. They requested a deposit for work never performed and refused refund. Their staff is less than friendly and I would suggest you have your work done elsewhere.
