I went to Galaxy with my coworkers as a company outing on Tuesday. We all got pedicures.The first thing I noticed was that they didnt disinfect the bowls after clients, they just put a plastic covering over them. There was an exposed piece that was held on by a magnet or something which also did not get disinfected. Their nail files and sanding bands were re-used which was obvious by the nail marks and wear.Im a licensed nail tech and I was taught that any material that cannot be disinfected or sterilized should NEVER be used more than once.I started noticing yesterday that my big toe is sore on the sidewall, thought it was my shoes until today (thursday).Its more sore than before and is swollen and pink. Im a little freaked out after seeing how unconcerned they were with sanitation and Im hoping its not anything serious.Serious health problems can be caused by not following proper sanitation protocols... cleanliness is so so important.

They did good however they didn’t tell me the cost at all through the process so I was shocked my total came to $75. I should’ve asked but still. They also take “appointments” but seem to always run late or not write it down. A few of my nails are crooked and different lengths, and I told him but he didn’t care. I’ll probably go back but ask for a different tech who I watched do better on other people.

I loved this place, and the person I had was super kind and wielded really hard and wasn’t in a rush at all, she even had a 3 other people to work on but still took her time and made mine perfect but I gave it a 4 because it is so pricey mine were 65 but on the sign it says 45 and I had to give them a tip I would go again but I am going to make sure I pay the right amount!!

Big, well lit salon. Beautiful and clean. Very friendly employees, the cutest individual trays for pedicures with a wide variety of scented scrubs. Their acrylic nails are also very high quality with a lasting hold. The nail techs are very talented here.

I came it to get my nails repainted and reshaped. I went to a spot in west haven and I hated how they did them so a friend suggested this place……The man that helped me was very nice and he was engaging and seemed very educated and skilled at what he does! But 3 stars… when I called I was told it shouldn’t be more than $40 to touch up the shape and repaint them…. I spent $65. Which is more than a simple full set. I do feel like I was over charged. I understand there’s jewels and the gold.. but the jewels are crooked and the gold is very textured and he also cut my cuticle pretty bad and didn’t acknowledge it. All in all I am satisfied and I would probably go to a different location or have someone else do them next time. The before pic is the red and yellow

Ive been here a few times and my nails end up great each time. They are on the more expensive side, but totally worth it. And they are very popular on Saturdays since they are so good. But it is worth the wait.

I wish I had someone else! The guy that served me was spending most of his time chatting with his co-workers then paying attention to his job so much so that he cut me! His excuse was their new products! My friend’s girl was much more attentive. My guy would get up and do so many other things in the salon and then come back to me still using the same gloves that he’s touch everything else with. He would takeoff his mask so many times. His gloves that had nail polish all over them and he used them to put lotion on my legs. He got up again and when he was done with making a phone call he came back and touched my feet with his bare hands. Not ever coming back!

I would say they are the best in Utah! I drove 40 minutes to get here and love it

I went here last week to get a fill and really thought they did an awesome job. That was my first time going there. Yesterday my thumb nail broke off on the corner a little so I went in and asked them to fix it. They were super nice and fixed it for me for no charge. Then today the polish on that nail started chipping. I’ve never had this problem before and it made me pretty sad. I kinda felt like the guy that fixed it just rushed me through and didn’t really pay attention to the detail.

I’m giving 3 stars because the owner is fantastic. However, I went in for a pedicure and the gentleman working on me was squeezing my ankle so hard that it hurt while he sanded my foot. He was hysterically laughing the entire time while he was looking anywhere but my feet. The paint job was awful and paint was missing from parts of my nails before I left. It was busy and I was so frustrated that I left and wasn’t even going to write a review, but it’s almost been two weeks and every time I see my toes, I’m irritated they cost me money, let alone $40. My daughter had hers done that same day and they are still great. Unfortunately the people you employ can and will affect your reviews.

$65 😱 really ? This people is crazy I never paid that much for solid color ... i knowledge customer service is really bad even the owner... I will never come back for sure.

I had Tammy do my nails and I was pretty disappointed. The whole time she was so busy chatting away that she didn’t care to focus on the details. The whole process was rushed and totally not worth the money spent. The acrylic wasn’t applied properly and it hardened under the nail on the insides. I’m literally waiting till the nails come off! Wouldn’t recommend their service at all.

I’ve wanted ombré nails for awhile now and every place I’ve tried didn’t do a good job. I came here and they gave me a beautiful set that I’m obsessed with and it was quick as-well. They strive to give you want you want.

Horrible horrible service! I don’t usually post negative reviews because I like to give the benefit of the doubt, but this really bothered me. To start the technician was rude and even though I had made an appointment they were so busy he rushed through my pedicure and fill. While doing so hurt me a few times, which I’ve never had happen before. The gel was not smooth and After a week the gel starting chipping off all my nails. I called and was told I needed to contact “the boss” so I did twice and never got a response from Jeff. If they would have just fixed the gel I would have been fine. Obviously they don’t feel they need to take care of customers.

Lisa is incredible and is my go-to nail tech! The salon is clean and well managed. I’m always super satisfied with my nails.

My gel manicure was great, he really took his time to take care of my nails. But it went down hill with my pedicure. A different person did my pedicure and it wasn’t gel. I got the $40 pedicure but he only massage one foot and he didn’t apply my top coat throughly on the nails. I didn’t notice until I got home and everything dried. I was disappointed. My manicure was excellent. But my pedicure sucked.

Been coming out for a few months for acrylics. My hands go through a beating for both of my jobs, I’ve only had a nail break once and they fixed it for free. Always good quality

They do a great job sometimes but not very honest with the bill. Maybe its because they thought I would not tip. They overcharged me by 20 dollars and I still ended up adding another 10 dollar tip because the lady who did my toes did a marvellous job but my hands which they said was 65 dollars was not done neatly and the guy kept going over my cuticle. It was amazing that the boss just stood there and noded in agreement over the bill even though he knew. We live in a digital world where google is the smartest and google translate let me know what what was being said. I feel robbed. I will just carry cash tips and ask for an itemization of the bill if I decide to come back. I doubt I will. What a shame because I have been here numerous times. I know times are tough which is why I went ahead and still tipped but its tough for everyone and honesty goes a long way. Full set w/ shellac and classic pedicure with regular paint is not 100 dollars!

I had my nails done the other day by Kim and I had wanted to do short nails, when I said I wanted the length shorter than it was she got upset with me and said shorter than that in a not so kind tone, are you sure I told her yeah. Then she proceeded to drill it down shorter after finishing the color on the nails. I noticed she was working at a fast pace and all my nails came out uneven lengths which was very upsetting. As a first time costumer I wasn’t pleased or happy with the way my nails turned out. I still was polite and tipped. But I won’t be coming back again. I also heard another customer she had asked to be switched because she wasn’t listening to the way she wanted her nails and the length she made them extra long instead of medium length. I was hesitant when they told me she would be doing my nails. Two customers complained and had been switched prior and the male nail tech then took over for that lady. Now that I see she doesn’t listen to her clients and she also isn’t accommodating. I should of asked to wait and have another tech do my nails.

Husband and I really needed a pedicure! Our feet had been hurting from a long trip and Galaxy Nails actually stayed open late to help take care of us! Super great service! We were extremely grateful for the folks who stayed late for us! Great work, Ive only been to this exact location twice, it both times Ive had excellent service. I will continue to do service here and recommend to friends and family!

I have gone here a couple times and I feel like every time they get worse! Today I went and felt like he rushed through it, he continued to take his phone out, stop working on my nails to either text or call someone, and there was bumps and bubbles all on nails that he didn’t fix. I won’t be coming back.

I called and made an appointment for 3pm and I sat there waiting for 45 minutes. No one helped me or even looked at me after I checked in. I was fuming, and ended up calling another place down the street because they said they would take me immediately.

Not only did we have to wait 30 minutes to be seen after we did schedule an appointment, but the service was horrible, mine especially. My fingers have never been so poorly treated and my nails are MESSED up! They wanted me to pay full price for them as well. I declined payment and suggested I go in and have them redo them completely, but upon the day I should go back in, my nail beds hurt, theyre red, they have blood scabs, I will NEVER return to this place!! Not trustworthy, non- English/ they tried convincing me this is the way theyre supposed to look. I showed them the exact style and colors and print I wanted. They ate horrible greedy people here.

Came here because I had seen good reviews on this place. Booked an appointment with Tammy and they just look horrible. She was rushing and did a really sloppy job, didn’t even bother applying cuticle oil afterwards. I really just don’t appreciate people who don’t put effort in their work especially when they’re going to charge what they charged. Went in for a fill and a simple design and paid $75 for a rushed job.

Good quality nails paid 70 with a good tip and was worth it. Better if you make an appointment ahead of time because it’s a really popular. They can do the really trendy Instagram nails.

I feel so upset and almost left this place crying. I paid 40 dollars for gel nails and they came out pretty nice (Sunday the 6th) but the very next day they were already chipped and peeling off on one hand. The woman also made three of my fingers bleed. I called and asked if it would be okay if I can come and get them fixed on Friday because I work and don’t have any days off until then they said yes. I come in Friday afternoon and they tell me to come back Saturday because they’re busy. I come back Saturday and the man who was “fixing” my nails painted over a nail that was chipped causing it to bubble and look sloppy. I pointed this out to him and he did nothing about it. He was clearly annoyed and in a rush. I went up to the front to ask if I could just please get a partial refund at least because I spent a lot of money on these nails and they look awful and they were fixed with such sloppiness. I was informed they do not do refunds and I was so embarrassed I did not want them to repaint the nail again. The sides of my nails were left unpainted and they really all look awful. Don’t come here if you don’t want to waste your money. I’ve never had such awful service

I came in today at my daughters request she wanted her nails done for her birthday. (She is turning 5) The staff was so patient and kinda with her. Answering her questions and indulging her stories. We had a great time, thank you guys so much!

Got a full set, and breaking nails is not abnormal for me. I get long nails, they break. The nails that have broken here have all ripped up my real nails entirely. My thumb was left with zero real nail, completely bare. Not sure what they use in their powder but I will never go back.

Best set of nails I’ve ever received, well worth the money. She worked with me on the design and listened to everything I said and corrected herself when she made mistakes. I will definitely be going back.

Dont bother setting an appointment, this is the SECOND time I set an appointment and waited over an hour. The first time I was even rushed once it was my turn. After waiting an hour this time I left as others who did not set an appointment were allowed to go ahead of me. This is unprofessional bad customer service. The absolute worst pedicure I have ever had. I called ahead and made an appointment. Me and my husband went in we waited in cold water for 30 mins. When someone finally came over ther started on my husbands feet, when they started on mine the guy doing my pedicure obviously had no idea what he was doing. We got deluxe pedicures and it was not worth anything we paid. I will never ever go back to this place what a joke. 60 dollar pedicure with gel and didnt even so the stones or anything that was listed for the price. Dont waste your time

I’ve been coming to galaxy nails for 2 years. It was always so great! Recently, the quality hasn’t been very good. I felt my nail getting loose on my thumb and I kept telling my nail tech that I needed to have it taken off and replaced and he kept saying it’s fine and just put some glue on it. I recently went to a different place and had my nails removed and saw that my thumb nail was literally green. The tech that took them off told me that if the nail gets loose, water gets under it and can create a mold or a fungus. That’s what happened on my nail. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I do feel like people should know that some of the techs here do take short cuts to get you in and out as fast as possible and for them to do as little work as possible. This isn’t okay. I’ve been a very loyal customer with them and to see this when I go there regularly, is disappointing. I will not be going back to them.

Unfortunately, I’d recommend not coming here. Everything started out great, but halfway through our appointment my nail tech answered her phone. She was actually trying to do my service with one hand on my foot and the other on her phone. She then touched my foot with the one she used to answer the phone with. That is unsanitary.When it came time to painting, I was left with red all over my cuticles and toes, and actually had to ask her to clean them up. I used to really like both locations, but I’ve had too many bad experiences than good, and this will definitely be my last time coming here.

This place is amazing. I came here about 3 years ago and have never been anywhere else since! I moved to Ogden at the beginning of this year and I only get my nails done about once a year but I went in to Galaxy nails this evening to get my nails done and they didnt disappoint! Jeff is the owner and he is so kind he spent a lot of time on my nails making sure they were just perfect because He knew I dont get them done very often. Jeff is very committed to his customers and his work is very precise. It really says something that I am willing to drive from Ogden to Murray To get my nails done. Tonight was very busy for them it was a Friday night and I came as a walk in appointment. Jeff was so great and took me as a customer and he even stayed past the closing time to ensure the I got what I wanted. Although Jeff didnt know it, I had a really rough week this week. Getting my nails done was my treat to myself because it was something that I felt like I needed. Jeff was there with a smile. I apologized 100 times for making him stay past closing but he was very gracious and worked with a smile on his face until my nails were perfect. This is an amazing place. aside from the attention to detail they really do care about their customers and want to make them happy. I will be a lifetime customer no matter how far I have to travel. I genuinely just think that everyone should go here because in my opinion its the best place customer care wise and nail wise. Thank you Jeff for making my week substantially more bearable. Thank you for your time, work, and attitude. I am a very anxious person, so sometimes it is hard for me to go places especially alone and I always feel very at ease and welcome when I go to Galaxy nails. Thanks for all of your amazing work!!

Tiffany did such a good job on my nails and even talked me into doing the dip powder instead of the gel so that my nails would be stronger and able to grow. I love how they turned out, and she was soooo friendly and personable. I will definitely be coming back soon :)

One of my favorite places to get a pedicure. The service is great and friendly. Everything is always so clean and well maintained . I always leave feeling refreshed and well taken care of.

The location is cute the prices are average to the pricier side for the quality of nails. They dont have a standard of quality they base on your appearance for sure. When I go after work my nails are on point but if I go after the gym my nails are sloppy. They get mad if you ask for acrylic corrections like overhang and thickness. Theyll rush you out if a walk in comes in even if you had the appointment. The staff has serious attitude problems and you can read the sarcasm through the language barrier. Go to the galaxy nails in cottonwood if you can they are far better in quality and service. Gave these guys 3 chances the only 1 time my nails were great was when I came after work and got the more humble girl

They overcharge I got a 40$ pedicure and she charged me 55$ and now Im getting home I still have callus on my foot.I will be finishing it myself, but for the overcharge and not even the service fulfilled.

So I got my nails done and they rushed and the acrylic chipped and not all the same size there not even at all and got acrylic toes and had to go back 4 times and now i have a infection on my big toe didn’t do anything right and I payed $155 and when I went for a refund they didn’t they sat me down and worked on it all I wanted was my money back

First Id like to say that everyone raves about this place so my friend and I decided to come here to get our nails done one Saturday afternoon. She made an appointment so they were already expecting us, it wasnt busy when we arrived.From the looks of it the owner is a guy- that talks about Seattle an awful lot. He was doing my nails. I was then asked to sit somewhere else as a lady was going to finish my nails. The lady then kept yanking my hand and then throw it to me when she was done with it and needed the other. when my nails were done they were so uneven but they were about to close and I had other stuff going on so my friend and I just left. Dont waste your time coming to this place to rock uneven nails

Due to unsanitary tools I had to suffer a green nail from Tammy. Love her work just be careful she might not sanitize her tools one day and like me you will get an awful green nail and she will then try to sell you ointment 🤯. Take before and after pics of your physical nails. I had to stop getting my nails done for a whole year.

Service was so fast even though I was a walk-in. The workers were so kind and fun to talk to! My nails looks amazing and they took good care of my hands. I got acrylics - for some reason my ring finger acrylics on both hands are a little crooked - but really not that noticeable. Definitely coming back to this location!! Loved my time here

So, I called in to be with a certain girl she is out. I said never mind the lady then proceeded to tell me to come in with someone else. I didn’t really want to and I told her how picky I am. We booked something. Granted the first 17 hours my bails were fine. The next day my nail polish started to bubble up and peel back. Called in they told me to come in at 4, when I walked they all ignored me, cool, then when I told them who I was the girl was like oh we said six. No no you didn’t I told you I have somewhere I had to be at 5, so a flat out lie. I paid $60 dollars for bails that are not even worth$20

I have been to Galaxy Nails twice - this was my second visit and I am alarmed with the lack of cleanliness. I witnessed a nail tech use cuticle cutters and a nail file right after they were used on me with out cleaning or sanitizing. I witnessed a tech use a tool kit that was previously used and not sanitized on a new client. The work stations are dirty, dusty, and obviously rarely cleaned -let alone sanitized. Just gross - Especially with Covid! I was alarmed to see total disregard for sanitization at this facility

Just looking around and walked in. Everyone was really friendly and they took great care of us. After each customer they cleaned the stations. I can’t wait to come back.

Okay so first don’t come here is over priced!!! I paid $80 and my nails weren’t even that long and I didn’t ask for designs... also my nails broke within three days... and a few nails the paint was coming off within 2 days. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!! Stay away from here!! They steal your money... I went in on opening day after being shut down due to COVID-19. My friend got her nails done here a while back, and I loved the way they looked so I decided to give them a shot. Mind you, I always do my own nails at home, have invested quite a bit into my own supplies, but after being stuck at home for months, I wanted to treat myself and get out.I did have an appointment, and they started right away. As he was working on them I was satisfied. $65 later and 20% tip, after leaving I took a good look at all of them and they looked funny. One of them flips up, I was also told “my finger is crooked” I literally thought he was kidding. Some of them are super thick at the ends, which makes for a weird side view. One of my pinkies looked like a toothpick, while the other was wider.Ultimately I needed to come home and tweak the way they look. I know I know, I should have said something, I just really hate being that person. I am reminded why I stopped going to salons as I spend too much money on nails I don’t love. I could have bought so many of my own supplies to add to my collection. Lesson learned.... again!

Extremely overpriced. Expect to pay 80 + for just a fill. Prices are not consistent, th hey start charging for anything. Will not be back and will not recommend anyone goes here.

Tammy did not impress me at all with the set I just got. $85 in the trash. She didnt put any care into my nails this time. I had to go back to ask her to fix them because the designs were falling apart and they were lumpy and she had someone else do it, they look even worse now. Not going to bother again with her.

First tone there and I love it. People are friendly and smiling. My nails were way grown out and the tech didnt bat an eye or complain, even offered me a water. They are very clean with their equipment, and its so welcoming inside.

I had really been wanting to go to this nail salon and finally got to go yesterday. The staff is amazing, the salon is super clean. And when I described what I wanted to do with my nails (Muun) did everything I asked her to do and my nails came out perfect. I will only be going to this salon from now on!!! Me and my friend had gone to get our nails done to try out a new place cause our nail ladies were busy. Well we learn our lesson and will never go to anyone but our ladies.When we walked in we instantly wanted to walk out. They had taken my friend first and they didn’t even have the color that she had wanted from their selection.When the guy was taking her nails off so she could get a new set, he didn’t even think about smoking them before trying to get them off. And they did get them off, he didn’t file them or buff them or anything. He just started to put the tips on. After that we just got up and left.They are just unprofessional and the customer service sucks.

I called two days in advance for my girlfriend to get a pedicure and nails done for mothers day they over booked and were super rude to her she then ended up walking out upset, very disappointed with the way they treated her.

So relaxing! My daughter treated me to a pedicure and then my sister called from Korea and was able to speak with my technician, that was pretty cool. Loved the leg massage and absolutely love the pedicure

Walked in they said 30 minute wait. Behind me came several more walk ins and a few appointments. Staff had zero idea who came before who including their appointments. One staff member who had zero idea of the order tried to say who is in front of who. Basically completely unorganized wait 45 minutes and gave up because I easily would have been there 1.5 hours before going back. There should be one person keeping track of the order and giving realistic wait times. My time is just as valuable as yours! I truly give you 0 stars!

Best Place to get your nails done! The prices can be high but you definitely get what you pay for. They can basically do any design you want. The staff is very professional and he best part is how they socialize with everyone! The salon itself is very clean which is always a big thing for me specifically when it comes to pedicures. Special shout out to Tammy for doing my nails she is amazing at what she does! This will forever be my Nail Salon.

I went here yesterday for the first time. Not gon lie I was nervous bc I already have my go to spot and it seemed a little rushed at the beginning..The staff was very friendly though, and I noticed how they were thoroughly cleaning/sanitizing after each client. As for my actual service- I got a classic mani& pedi, and my nails look BOMB!! I didn’t catch the guys name who did my nails but he got the shape and everything perfect😭 mind you I’m very picky, also didn’t try to push me to upgrade and do gel and all that like some nail shops tend to do. I will definitely come be coming back since I live close by now😊

I have been here on several different occasions and have never been disappointed! I guess it’s true never say never 🙄 I went and got my nails done on Friday with a gentlemen I’ve never seen there before and almost immediately I regretted it! THE NAILS HE DID WERE BY FAR THE WORSE NAILS I HAVE EVER GOTTEN ! n you know their bad when the nail tech kept telling his self he was disappointed at that he still charged me full price 🤬 I was so so angry but you live n learn right .
