I came to cameo college to get a little pampering! Lets be honest, women are highly overcharged for really everything beauty related . I wasnt sure how this was going to go because I have always heard horror stories of people going to beauty school trying to get some things done for a reasonable price but it turning out a total nightmare.I was very wrong and i am very grateful for that! :)I got my hair cut, a scalp treatment, and a deep conditioning all for $40.00 including tax! The student that helped me with this service is Zulehima she was really sweet, very detailed and made sure to listen to every step of the way! She took her time and made sure that i was happy! I had a lot of hair and it is very fine so it took her all morning and most of the afternoon but i cannot fault her for this because she did an amazing job so it was worth the wait. The teacher that was walking around helping was also super sweet and showed the student how to add texture to my ends as well as she made sure that i was happy with my hair and made me feel very comfortable for voicing and concerns I had any other demands that i had for how i wanted my hair.Overall, It was a very good experience and I enjoyed the student who helped and the teacher. I felt like i was in a spa, very relaxed and very happy with my results.

I graduated from the Permanent Cosmetics program not only with a high quality education and a supportive teacher, but the most memorable program Ive had yet. The wisdom, care and dedication the instructor and assistant place in the program is extraordinary. They are passionate instructors with so much patience and support even outside of the classroom.I had my doubts about the program and even having procedures done on myself but at the end I left with better and improved brows, eyeliner and lips! I also left with a great support system and friends for life!Rickie- the instructor and school director is so wise, kind and fabulous at teaching, Rickie and Emily (the sidekick assistant) make a the best superhero team. As a student I appreciate the dedication and attention they had when teaching me, I was comfortable to work on clients as soon as they started to come in! I researched a lot into School, and hands down this is the best program in the valley!

Kalaya Gasu did an amazing job on my nails! You can tell she is going to be a great nail tech. She free hand painted butterflies and rebuilt one of my broken nails! She even gave great advice on keeping my nails healthy!!!!

Hannah D did an amazing job on my daughters hair. She was professional and made my daughter have fun the whole time she was there ( which was hours). My daughters hair request wasnt the easiest and Hannah tackled it with enthusiasm and was fantastic. We cant thank Hannah enough for her hard work.

I just graduated their permanent cosmetics program! It was oh so fun!! It was a 5 day course that equipped me with the knowledge to not only do permanent makeup but also how to start up a business. My instructor, Rickie Mehl was amazing!! She was so fun to work with and she made sure I felt comfortable with each and every procedure I performed. I got tons of experience in all areas and left feeling confident with a new skill and I can’t wait to start up my business! I highly recommend this school! They offer other areas such as a full cosmetology program, master aesthetics and so much more!!! They have different time for the classes plus full time and part time to fit your busy schedule!! Katrina did such a great job on my pedicure. I love my new soft feet. I will say that I would have given this place 5 starts, but… the chairs they have you sit in at the “Pedicure Room” are the most uncomfortable chairs I’ve ever had the displeasure of sitting in. But, Katrina is awesome!

My first experience at Cameo was amazing!!The people there are so friendly and nice and I got right to getting my nails done! The beautiful student Kalaya worked both beauty and magic when doing mine. And they look flawless!!!

My cousin goes to school here… TOXIC ENVIRONMENT! the instructors are always being so demeaning to the students and even making some of them cry! Please do yourself a favor and do not support this school in any way. My cousin comes home from school everyday crying because of how awful the instructors are. It breaks my heart that this school is not treating their students with care. What a shame… One instructor I would like you all to know is named Rikki Rogers, she is so rude to everyone she comes in contact with.

Let me just start out by saying this school is very dirty, I am not a picky person but walking into the bathroom when there is toilet paper all over the floors and inside the stalls there are weird stains..gross!Another thing I noticed when getting my nails done, there are no instructors to be seen! How weird that a school where you are handling real clients the instructors are no where to be found… the girl doing my nails said that the instructor Jennifer Murray just goes down stairs for a few minutes if that, and then leaves to go sit upstairs on her phone.. what a joke!In conclusion, I will not be returning to this place. Please take care of the cleanliness and get some instructors who care about what their students are doing on clients.

I had a great experience at Cameo College! Alicia did my scalp treatment and hair styling. The girl know her way around a curling iron! She was kind and easy to talk to. I also got a manicure from Desiree and her attention to detail was incredible! My nails look amazing- even better than manicures I have spent a lot more money on! I would definitely come back here.

My daughter got her nails done here…when I walk into the area where nails are done, the instructor looked less than interested in helping the students and had a rude/mean look on her face, later learned her name is Jenny Murray. The student then told me that this instructor is rude in the classroom as well. My advice to this instructor: be visible more often (we only saw her for 2 minutes then the instructor disappeared), also to the instructor you need to work on your customer service appearance!

Ryan is absolutely amazing as a cosmetologist!! She spent the time needed, asked the questions from Susie (one of the best instructors in cosmo at cameo) to ensure my hair turned out absolutely perfect. I will always have Ryan do my hair no matter where she works!! Pure magic

Ive never got to my eyelashes done and wanted to, and Cameo was running a promotion for both eyes for $40, they look okay when they were done, but she only put them on half of each of my eyes (the outside) They started falling out that night and were gone by the end of the week, But the worst part was I had a huge block of glue right at the bottom of my eyelid so every time I blinked it cut my eyelid. 😬 Ouch, Ill pay the extra $40 and go get them professionally done from now on.

I went with Sylvia Garcia to get my sisters hair done. I have had the most hardest time trying to get my sisters hair straight and tamed, and Sylvia was able to do that for her without hesitation. Me and my family were truly impressed by the results and my sister loves it and feels beautiful. Thank you so much!

Tawni Tanner did my lash lift & tint and I am so impressed! My lashes look amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her throughout the appointment!The spa atmosphere was really nice too, it didn’t feel like a school.

Interviewed a current student who attends this school and all I can say is that the nail instructor Jenny Murray should not be an educator. The student named many reasons including that this particular instructor is very bitter at times and demeaning most times.Having accompanied my mother getting a full set of acrylics done. I noticed this instructor always on the phone and leaving elsewhere all the time.

I have come in many times for haircuts. I always select my good friend Paulina Barrios. She’s so friendly and easy to work with. I always somewhat cringe as a man, walking into a place like this, but her personality makes it a comfortable and fun experience every time. She so very talented and passionate at what she does, and it shows in the results!!!

Just completed the Permanent Cosmetics course with Rickie Mehl. Absolutely fantastic experience and training. Well prepared for an entirely new career that I am so excited about. Excellent teacher, excellent school.One month out now, and LOVING what I am doing. Still have my part time job, but I have opened a little salon suite and have booked and performed about 6 procedures now. Im 56, have two masters degrees and was getting depressed with what I was doing. Dont believe youre too old to try this. If you are curious, it might just bring a little joy.

Anna was so good at the hot stone therapy I received. She was conscientious about checking in as to my preference on pressure, temperature, etc. I have a lot of these therapies - and I have rarely had a better one.The hot stone therapy is as close as you can get to a massage at the school - and I highly recommend it! And I recommend Anna as your provider even more highly!

I went in and Dulce Gonzalez did my manicure. This was my first time at CAMEO and she made my experience great. She did such a good job on my nails and was truly the sweetest. I will be going again to her! :)

Ive come here many times for various waxing and nail procedures and I absolutely love it. Tammy and Alyssa are the girls I request for these because they are excellent! Its clear theyre very serious about their job. They take the time to check in with me on how things are feeling, how Im liking the work, if I want anything redone, etc. Its never been an awkward or dull experience with them and Im always thrilled with the results!

Great value! I like that price is discussed before they begin so you know what to expect. The students do a great job. They take their time and are very careful and I have had great results. One time I had my color done and after a couple washes was not as happy with it and I was able to come back in and they got me in quickly and someone fixed it for free. Definitely would recommend it.

Tessa is the best!A couple months ago, I got a really bad haircut from another salon. I had just chopped 6 inches off of my hair, but the back was longer than the front, it just didn’t look good, and I wasn’t confident in it. For two weeks I felt so uncomfortable to have my hair down and straight. Tessa at Cameo College fixed it, give me a terrific a-line, and I’m so in love with my haircut! I finally feel comfortable to wear my hair down, it’s grown out so nicely, she added just enough layers so that it wasn’t blunt, and I feel confident about it. I randomly decided to get a facial. I booked a facial for acne, although when I went in Shahad Aljassimi let me know that the facial I booked wasnt the best one for my skin since I have pigmentation instead of acne. I appreciated her honesty and we ended up doing a deep exfoliating facial. She then told me that I should come back for a chemical peel to really help my skin and get rid of my old acne scars and pigmentation. I really appreciated her help!

My niece and I had gone to a different (walk in) salon for a full set of acrylics and were not pleased with the results, so we decided to try cameo college: we were so pleased with the results! The technicians: Amanda and Jessica listened to our wants and went above and beyond to give us the results we wanted! I attended cameo I took there master esthetician course I’m very grateful for my education and appreciate everything I learned and gained from being a student there it was definitely a journey it’s not easy just like any schooling you do you have to work and really want it for yourself and I graduated this year and now I’m a master esthetician I’m proud carrying what I learned from there and opening a esthetics spa. I’m thankful for my education and experience that had with cameo. Ang, Heather, and Kathy were my instructors I really loved having them teach me what I know today. It’s a lot of work you have to put in the work and want it. My experience there really set me up to be where I am at today and I’m thankful for that. Brenda is the owner she is great and wants everyone to succeed in this field. All of my instructors are still there for me today when I need any resources or help. Thank you for my education and being there when I need it.

AMAZING facial! I had my first facial done by Alyssa Meyers and i seriously felt so relaxed and my skin was sooooo soft. Alyssa Meyers was excellent and even massaged my legs and feet. I would totally do this again!

I felt like the student, Rajani, was very professional and careful with her techniques. Electrolysis is not comfortable to have performed on you but she was good with putting a finger on the area she just treated so that it wasnt so uncomfortable. I plan to see her again.

I overall enjoyed my experience at Cameo College. The admissions office was so easy to work with. Mallory and Emerri answered all of my questions and made sure to follow up on all my enrollment items.I took the Permanent Cosmetics class, and Rickie was so professional and taught with confidence. They have an amazing open door policy so I feel comfortable asking any questions, even though I have already received my certification.The building offers multiple classes and has a friendly staff. Id recommend Cameo College to anyone wanted to further their education in the Beauty industry.

If I could give the school 0 stars I would. I would never recommend this school to anyone. The education is sparse, they only want your money plus some. They once had good instructors, the current instructors are horrible! Instructors will bully you until you reach your breaking point and then make you look like the bad guy. For anyone looking for a school PLEASE take your time and look at others schools you will thank me later.

I hate having to post this but I was just really sad with how my lashes turned out. I got a lash lift and they didn’t even bother cleaning up the glue. I had to ask someone else to. Not only that but they were so poorly done. Didn’t even lift them. Just upset that I had to pay $45 for really bad service.

Went to get my hair colored, I used a box color on my hair before but there was re-growth so I wanted to make sure the new color would not just be on the re-growth. I asked the teacher ( after she showed me what color options I had ) if these colors will color all my hair and not just the re-growth. She assured me TWICE! that yes it will cover the whole hair. Well it didnt! After I showed her what happen she started to back track that she said it should cover it she didnt say that at the beginning! Ohh and they made me pay for the whole thing because they provided the service but guess what this is NOT THE SERVICE WE AGREED ON! Dont go there!

I have had a lash tint/lift, a facial, and an eyebrow wax from Hailey Diamond. I cannot recommend her enough. She had done my eyebrows and lashes multiple times now and I won’t go to anyone else because she does such a fantastic job. I go to her over fully licensed estheticians because she consistently out-does them.

Cameo was the most amazing education. They already have an enormous client base because they have built a reputation for being exceptional quality. Having the hands on experience gives you the opportunity to learn with your teacher present so that you can practice being successful at a variety of techniques. The teachers at this school take a personal interest in every single student to make sure that they all know what they are doing and they don’t let anything slide either. If I had to do my curls on 5 doll heads to get it right then they would have me do it till I got it right. This made all the difference for my state board exams which I passed the first time with over 90% on both written and practical exams. Cameo has one of the highest pass rates of any of the schools and I suspect that is due to the faculty.I went to Cameo College of Essential Beauty to get trained and licensed in Cosmetology/ Barbering / Nails / Esthetics. Each of these licenses is earned through fulfilling the cosmetology program.
