I really struggled finding a dynamic beautician that could carry out what I explained and had in mind. They either butchered my hair or refused to do what I requested based on their “professional opinion”. I was referred to H2O from a friend and specifically to Tuan. He did an amazing job and was excited to carry out his creative touches and work to make my desired look come to life. Everyone in the salon was super friendly and attentive. It was true team work and the end result exceeded my expectations. I will be going back for sure!!

Sydney or Cydney at the front desk was cordial, very pleasant, friendly-nice, she scheduled me.Next day, they got me in right at the time scheduled. Salon has comfortable lighting, clean, nice setup. Katrina was my stylist, she was professional, pleasant, highly likable, cordial-helpful all around, I went in for a quick shave on side of long hair. She did an awesome amazing job from start to finish, all a while, I loved working with her.I felt so lucky she did my hair and was my lucky day. I always go here and have Katrina do my hair. She is the best! She always double checks after thinning out if you like how it feels or if you want it thinner. She also asks for details in how you like your hair parted, and gives tips on conditioners. She also double checks in the inches she cuts off. She is absolutely amazing and you can tell she enjoys her job! I always leave her $10-$15 tip and will continue to go to her to cut my hair. Love it every time! (:

Awful.I wanted to get gel manicure. A girl who was working with my nails was very unprofessional: she did bad job removing old gel. My nails were uneven and all covered with bumps from old gel. She put only one thin layer of new gel and started painting over it with nail polish. When she finished my right hand and l took a closer look at it I saw that it was all uneven, with bumps, poorly covered with nail polish.Lady who worked with me had her own huge long nails that was a hinder to do a good job.I showed her that my nails look very poorly done, I apologized to her and asked to remove nail polish and charge me only for gel removal. I was charged 25$ and now I regret that I payed even a dollar for this work. I waisted my time and money for the work that will have to be redone by someone more professional.P.S I wish I could attach photo with my nails after visiting this salon.

I am typically not one to give a business a negative review, but I am so furious on the the type of experience I encountered. I had a hair appointment for 4:15PM, showed up to the salon at 4:00PM and checked in with the receptionist. Due to COVID I was told to wait outside and someone would come grab me, which I get. BUT I waited outside for 30 minutes in the 40 degree weather for my 4:15PM appointment. By 4:45PM I decided to walk away from the salon without getting any service. I was so furious that I had been standing outside in front of the building where the employees could see me and no one bothered to come give me a heads up on weather a stylist was running behind or they overbooked. Something would have been better than nothing. I was really hoping to give this salon a chance, with all the great reviews I read, but unfortunately I never got the chance.

The salon is clean and well-lit. The staff is always friendly. My favorite stylist, Arianna, does a fabulous job on my hair and going to see her is a treat. My color takes several hours, but I dont get bored or frustrated because Arianna does her best to make me comfortable. 💜

I got my hair done here and once I got home I didn’t love it. The salon was amazing and redid my hair, including color and Brazilian blowout for free! It’s not cheap on my long hair and I think it is amazing that this salon was willing to go to such great lengths to make a client happy! I love my hair now and will be back again!

I have been to this salon many times before and have never had an issues. Not only my hair turned out darker, stylist went up on my undercut to the point that you can see a bold spot. Total honesty, if I need just a haircut, I’m gonna go elsewhere because the pricing is a little steep. (And the attitude of the staff does show through that they know they’re upscale- only reason I deducted a star.)However, if you need anything else, go here! They’ve always been amazing - they took my very dark brown hair and turned it to platinum in one (admittedly 6 hour) session. I’ve been told by every other salon that that feat was impossible! Not only did they change it to the right color, it was still super healthy afterwards due to their treatments and recommendations.I’ve also had my lashes done here, and that was amazing too! They looked great and the lash girl was pretty speedy too.Edit: I don’t remember who they had working there before that had an attitude, but I’ve never experienced that since. I’m a loyal customer here because the quality is unbeatable.

So disappointed!!!When I booked my appointment, I showed a photo of the permanent wave to the hair stylist Ben. I wanted a nice beach wave permanent. He said he can do it. He looked confident so I booked my appointment with him.The day of the appointment, I showed him again the photo and he said OK. He started to do my perm and 3 hours later, the result was horrible. I looked like a poodle, my hair were too puffy. I was so angry so I showed him the photo again and told him this is absolutely not the same perm as the photo. At the end, he told me that he didnt know how to do the same. In this case, why did he accept to do it at the first place? It is so unprofessional!!!I told him to fix it because I could not go out of the salon with that ugly perm. He did another perm but the result was still bad. After 4 hours, I had to leave because I had to pick up my child at daycare.Few days later, one of the manager of the salon offered a complimentary hair treatment and styled my hair. Now, my hair looks a little bit better however I still regret to have done my perm in this salon.

Tuan is an incredible stylist, I usually have an idea of what I want and he does his thing and has never steered me wrong, just went short and had 8-10 inches cut off and I love it!

Twan is an artist! I have been all around the city trying to find a stylist who could work with me, and have had horrible luck. I’ve had stylist walk out on my haircut mid session because my hair was too much to work. Twan, however was the most confident stylist I have seen, and for the first time in years, I am happy with my hair. Thank you Twan and Studio H20 for the great work you all do!

Ive been going to Lien for about 5 years now and have been going to this salon for 7 (between the 2 locations). Lien always listens to my needs and makes suggestions based on what works for my hair type. I always leave happy. There was one time that I didnt like how the color was framing my face so I went back in and she toned down the color free of charge. I would recommend Lien for a great cut and color.

Loved this salon! I was visiting from out of town and only had one afternoon to get my hair done. They fit me in with no issues and did a wonderful job! All the employees were so kind and thoughtful. I NEEDED A TRIM, NOT AN EFFING CUT! She did good at first. I told her I wanted to keep the length and grow it out. Told her I wanted an A line but it hardly looks like an A line. She kept cutting and cutting. So much for the seven months it took to get past my shoulders. SHE CUT OFF TWO INCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I no longer am able to have a high ponytail (which I did expect). Not only that but there is a piece of hair that is not held in my pony tail. It looks stupid and I will have to use a bobby pin for that strand of hair every time almost. My hair is short to begin with. Its barely shoulder length now. My mom was DEVASTATED at how much length she took off! I am too of course. I told my mom I might as well go shorter, that is how much she took. It does feel lighter, which is nice. Like I said though, I wanted to keep the length. Would have been better off if my boyfriend bought sheers. I know he would have TRIMMED less! Its sad when you know your boyfriend would have done a better job than a professional salon.

I’ve never had my wife come home in tears from a hair salon. Mykle completely layered her hair without asking AND did it as a child with sheers would. I couldn’t believe it. It’s really bad. Don’t go sit down in there and pay the money then have them make mistakes on your hair like that. I wish we could post pictures. It’s astonishing.

Emma did an incredible job doing my eyebrows- as a dude, sometimes you wonder whether the curve of the brow will not look how you want it- in this case though it look EXACTLY as I had envisioned- is there a 10 star button?????! Also she’s training a new girl hope who hasn’t been there long but you literally couldn’t tell... THATS how good she was! If you’ve been here you know what I’m talking about- if you haven’t- just get here!

Firstly, the stylists are very talented and create beautiful haircuts, and hair colors. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and I feel pampered when I go for a haircut. I’m brought a coffee or other beverage and then taken back for a shampoo and scalp massage. You can schedule appointments online or at the studio after your cut. Love these guys and their service so much that I’ve been coming back since 2014.

Rachele did my hair for my wedding. Shes my sister in law but also an amazing hair stylist. We did a trial run for my bridal pictures the week before to make sure everything would go smoothly on the wedding day. She matched a hairstyle I found online exactly. She even added extensions to help get the look I was going for. She helped me feel beautiful on my wedding day! Highly recommend her!

Absolutely horrible first they charge me $198 For hair job I didn’t even want. I want to go blonde like yellow blonde. And now my hair is bleached white. Horrible service and horrible people never go here. You will be sorry if you do. And they stole my jacket. I brought a black Jean jacket with me and they stole it.

I have Tuan cut my hair, he takes a-lot of time and makes sure every hair falls in place. He really knows how to give you a good haircut. It is expensive so I have to wait a long time between cuts.

BEN RUINED my hair! I came in to just have a trim. I just wanted the ends trimmed slightly. He told me my blonde color didnt look good. I should tone it even tho it was already compromised from being lightened. He then took ANOTHER client and leisurely cut and styled his hair while the toner sat on my head for OVER 40 minutes I timed it on my I phone, literally frying my hair off. I had to cut it one inch length almost shaved my head because my hair was SO fried it would not sit flat. I have spent THOUSANDS now on wigs, no Exaggeration. I would NEVER recommend this salon. I wish I could get a refund I spent over 200$ for this horrible visit. I cried for weeks afterwards and was traumatized. Would give negative stars if I could!

Third time was not a charm, I have been here two other times, it was a great experience. Not today. I said I was there to help the in-between grow out phase shaped up, and I didnt like the mullet look, but thats exactly what I got. Seriously over priced $60 for a trim and shampoo. Rude from the beginning because I was a few minutes late. The stylist was nice enough but the reception was rude and interrupted my appt. I think it put pressure on the stylist and she forgot everything we talked about regarding my hair. I felt rushed and unhappy. I wont be back or recommending this place to anyone.

Arianna Desjardin did a marvelous job with dyeing my hair! Not an obnoxious shade, or a too dull shade of blue. She also took into account what my hair will be fading to. Ain’t nobody like green and brown hair. Whatever you’re paying her isn’t enough. She made the entire experience as painless and possible, and is also a great conversationist. I’ll definitely be coming here again.

Today I saw a customer run out on her for services worth up to $100, without paying for anything she did and the 3+ hours she spent with her. I have been here before to get my nails done so I thought eh why not give it a shot for my hair. Wonderful stylist! She was just the sweetest thing. I was not however happy with how my hair turned out. I asked for a long A line that started at my shoulders. Its at my chin! I had to take off my glasses so I couldnt see how short it was. I asked for a swoop bang and I did not get a swoop bang I got what looks like just tapered bangs. The price was absolutely not worth it. Calling to get a refund. I wore a hat home because I am embarrassed to have my husband see it. I went from having my hair to the middle of my back to my chin!!!! Could have been better. Wont go back unfortunately..

I’m sure the other stylists are great, but Michael is freaking amazing. He took my super vague hair suggestion of “I hate it I just want to chop it all off” to absolutely perfect during a first walk-in appointment. I’m super happy. Thank you Michael!!

She works wonders on my extremely thick hair which can be hard to do! I recommend this salon to all my friends and family. If youre in the Salt Lake area go here! You wont be disappointed.

Professional stylists, as well as environment. Been going here for about twenty years and can still count on perfection! Superb management. Although this has happened only a couple of times, Studio H20 provides excellent customer satisfaction. If I have a problem or am not 100% pleased, I have called my stylist and they have gone above and beyond to ensure that I am completely satisfied and LOVE my look. Tuan and Thida are the best! Honestly, I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I wanted to cut about a foot of hair off and was nervous to go to just anyone. I had never gone here before and requested a master stylist and was really nervous. Jared cut my hair and took his time and did a wonderful job. It is the best haircut I have had for a very long time and I will definitely return to see Jared every time now. He did a great job working with my existing layers and obviously knows what hes doing. Thank you so much!
