Upon moving to Murray this was the first place I came to looking for a gym to be apart of . I was misinformed of the pricing and was shocked I mean baffled at how could that be. By what I was told pricing would be for 1 person 165 to start and 87.00 a mnth . I was like no way I have been to many gyms and its never been that high.Well I was misinformed completely think it was by accident or a new person. Thank God!I was thinking something just doesnt sound right ! So I went back up their and yes I was misinformed about the prices they were wrong .So needless to say I joined the gym and love it !The employees are nice, respectful and very informative and they have all the equipment you need to workout on

Got a membership for a year and paid it every month. Once it was over, they automatically renewed it without letting me know, no emails, no call, nothing and began taking money out of my account every month even though I wasn’t aware that I could still go and still had a membership. $100 wasted.

Waaaaaaaay too much for a membership, especially when the water massage tables were broken! For that much a month, members should get a free massage from a human.

Continued billing during Covid-19 shutdown. And would not cancel billing without in person paperwork. STOP BILLING WHEN YOUR CUSTOMER ASKS YOU TO STOP BILLING. Dont give these people your personal info they are absolutely not to be trusted.

It was a nice facility. It was clean, good music playing, and friendly people. There was a large variety of different equipment to use.

If you expect courtesy, honesty, and respect from the businesses to whom you pay money, avoid Mega Gym.They will force you to show up in person to cancel. Not only is this blatantly anti-consumer (any other subscription can be canceled over the phone or online), but continuing this practice during COVID is totally unethical.I walked in wearing a mask for the signing of papers (as this requires close proximity and I had no intention of exercising) and none of the employees, including the one I was working with, wore a mask. I would expect this out of a cheaper gym, but I expect far more for the high price they are charging. I can only assume such disregard for public health is also reflected in the sanitation of machines and facilities.If you enter a month-by-month subscription beware that they will charge you for an extra month past when you want to cancel, claiming they needed 30 days notice. There is no legitimate reason for this other than to extract that last drop of money from you. That extra month is almost 40 dollars, which is not trivial for most people.TL;DR: Predatory anti-consumer business practices; disregard for public health and safety; overpriced; customer service is mediocre.

Nice gym with lots of equipment in good working order. The staff is super friendly and the extra are amazing.

Lots of good equipment and services, but what I don’t understand is why military members have to pay $38 a month while Murray State University students only pay $26 with no yearly contract. First of all the students have a school gym they can go to for free. Second, active military shouldn’t be in a 1 year contract because you never know when deployment comes around. Sure you can cancel when you tell them but it’s a hassle. Mega gym needs to fix this.

Wonderful staff that is always extremely nice and helpful. Plenty of good equipment. On the bad side, the locker room does not get nearly enough attention. It has been dirty for days. Need to clean much better!

Great amenities. Although they schedule classes in both side rooms so there is nowhere to do sit ups etc. A lot of the time. They also could use a heavy bag and pull up bar. Sauna is great

I have tried for 3 months to discontinue my membership because I moved. Mega Gym continues to bill me and add additional fees. They have requested a copy of the lease which I have submitted twice and yet no one from the Benton gym ie Rachael will return my call. Now I am into collections and there is no one to talk to at the Mega Gym that can resolve this issue. This is very poor customer service. I would not encourage anyone to join this gym.

The best place to workout by far

I switched from Dyno body just yesterday and its so much better and more diversity and better equipment by far this was a much needed switch. Theres not just one type of people here. Mega gym was very welcome and open arms as soon as I walked in the door. I could go on for hours about how Awesome this place is. I now have a comfortable gym to go to thank you staff at Mega gym for being so welcoming.

I have limited time for the gym in my schedule. So when i walk in and an open use area is reserved for four days week for a class and dont have access to an area to stretch and use some of the equipment in the room how is this right?Would have rated this place two stars cause the staff in murray is friendly and helpful but i saw management slamming bad reviews. Thats not customer service nor professional. Take criticism and improve you business. Planet fitness would put this place to shame if they came to town. Highway robbery if you arent under a corporate account.Please take time to know what your rooms are reserved for, it is for 4 days a week, not 2. If you would like I can go back and post a picture of the paper taped to the wall.

This is an excellent gym for fitness and working out in the Murray, KY area. Plus, would highly recommend them. They even have delicious prepared meals from @megafitmeals for us healthy/fit conscious ones who dont like to cook. 👌👍💯

I am a member of silver sneakers and I go to Mega Gym SilverSneakers is free you can use any of their equipment there they have a really nice hot sauna and they have a hydro bed that is wonderful on your back wonderful so if youre looking for a good gym in Murray Kentucky so wonderful place to go

Great gym with tons of well kept and very nice equipment. It is not really geared toward the hardcore athlete/powerlifter/bodybuilder though some do go there. There are a lot of fufu machines and an abnormal amount of cardio equipment. Treadmills, bikes, multiple kinds of ellipticals, stairsteppers, etc.. only two flat bench press stations, two incline stations, one decline station, two squat racks, one deadlift area, one power rack (including this as a squat station). Two adjustable benches, one flat bench, one straight back chair. One large cable station with 4 hookups, and one smaller one with two hook ups.Staff are all women, by design because they are all attractive and fit. Most of then are very friendly and willing to help you. Overall Id say this is a gym for semi serious lifters and average janes and joes. Its very busy, very often. At 530 am on weekdays good luck parking. Weekend mornings are much better. Serious folks train there as well however, dont get me wrong. Hell I do! Overall, good, clean, friendly, well rounded gym. Tanning beds available, hydrotherapy massage free to members, aerobics room, and a dance like room with a wooden floor used for larger private classes usually.

I like this gym and I will continue to go here because its the best gym in Murray. I hate the music they play though thank God for ear phones. And if you are into deadlifting its super annoying that they dont have a dolly to help set up the weights o. The deadlift barbell. Ive asked for them to look into this twice and nothing has changed. Really wish it would. It is an inexpensive suggestion.

Nice equipment. More than a little busy at 6pm. No chalk allowed, no towels provided. Showers and sauna available.
