Really clean, I LOVE how they areOpen 24/5 (Monday - Friday) and I love howClean all the equipment is, and how nice and Considerate the members are. Unlike OTHER gyms, equipment is usually always readily available, and you don’t have a long line of LUNKS using up all the dumbbells and machines etc. Definitely a gym for fitness and body building beginners, with lots ofInformation plastered on the walls to help guid your workouts. They have great AC and a huge fan on the ceiling to always keep you cool, and did I mention they have hair dryers in the bathrooms? It really has everything for a super cheap price. And if you get the blackMembership, you can bring a workout buddy every time for free! Working out is great, but having a gym buddy to keep each other on track is even better. I’ve been going to this gym since it first started out, and I’ve always been satisfied with their ethics, cleanliness, members, machines, staff, everything! They’ve come a long way, and I’m not just saying that. 5/5 would pump iron here again

I have loved coming to this gym but now that they are switching to closing at 7 pm on Saturdays and Sundays I feel like I need to look for other options. My boyfriend works nights and weekend and doesnt wake up till 6 so closing at 7 makes it impossible to get there and get a workout in. Since Sandy is also doing this schedule I would have to drive at least 20 or 30 minutes to 1 that is 24 hours. It doesnt seem like it would be that difficult or costly to at least go till 10 with one employee. Definitely dissapoitning...

I have been going to this location since they opened. It has been great for the most part. The only issue I have had is with the cleaning. It has been off and on with different crews and then they hired Kenny. He was excellent at keeping the whole place clean. He was also very nice and courteous with his cleaning and working around the patrons. He did such a great job that they promoted him to the front staff and they did not hire another cleaner. Since his promotion, the location has never been so dirty. I have asked Kenny about the situation and he has told me that they have not hired a cleaner to replace him and that is why it has been so dirty. I really hope this can be fixed. I am a manager and when a position is not talents care of, it becomes my position to complete. I hope they fix this because I really enjoy this location.

Can I just say, Emily is awesome. She’s the only one that answered the phone out of the three other locations I called. Ogden location was trying to make me drive all the way there to transfer my membership to Murray. Emily happily confirmed that the murray location can help me out. :) I feel better now and Emily just made my day!

I come here at night to avoid any crowds and this place is NOT clean. Every single person I see working out moves onto the next machine without wiping down the one they just used. Whenever you go to ANY machine, it’s covered in sweat and handprints. The lady at the desk is always on their phone or MIA so nobody is monitoring this. You’d think during the pandemic they would take extra measures to make sure people are cleaning up the machines to stay open. When I had a membership at Vasa, the person working the desk wiped down machines once every hour.

I used to come at 7 almost three to four times a week mostly on the weekends but theyve since changed their hours. Im considering changing gyms... its a big bummer because I chose 24hr because they WERE 24/7. Super bummed

Ive been going here for 3 years and I never regretted my decision. Everyone here is very nice and supportive of each other. Nicest clients and the employees are top notch. If you are thinking about joining a gym join this one!!!

It seems to me that miss sheline. She is a person who does not have good customer service, the facilities are good but the person who is in charge on Sunday this shift does not have a good attitude. additional of all the gyms is the only one that on a Sunday afternoon does not have background music, I have not seen that in any gym, I asked him to please put music on and he ignored my request, even if he is paying black membership . 😴👎🏿

I need to enter a review on the overall facility as 5 stars but there is a 1 star review for the staff and managements in ability to keep the Hydro Massage Beds functioning. 2 months ago I mentioned to the Manager that one of the beds losses pressure. He said it probably needs water a few days later I mentioned that the bed still had the pressure problem no response. Now it is even worse some days none will start some days if a staff remembers that there is a manual way to start the machine buy walking back to the machine logging in on the screen. I dont see how a multi $$$$$ corporation can have maintenance issues. Is there no support to get machines fixed? especially after being down for a lengthy period of time. I mentioned to one staff member that it was probably time for me to join a different club. He agreed with me. What!

One of the new staff members walked up to me and started yelling at me for not wearing a mask while I was active working out on a machine, I left the gym without finishing my workout. Next day I walk back in, wearing a mask, this man again stopped and harassed me but this time for no reason and asked me to leave, he repeatedly told me that he works there and nobody can do anything about the incident. Pure gangster behavior and very rude. I canceled my membership right away.UPDATE: 10/20/2020Thanks for your quick response. The manager stepped in and quickly resolved the issue within hours. Glad to be a member of planet fitness family again

Nice place. But the woman that go there act like there trying to meet men instead of actually working out not keeping there eyes focused on them selves instead of a protential one nighter with a man. Its becoming like vasa. Same thing there too. 24hr was way better and the people that went there didnt act like that. Equipment is fine but every time you need to interact with the front desk (tanning, drinks, massage) it’s always a mess.

I like other gyms more but this place is great for beginners

I really enjoy the atmosphere here. The employees are all chill, and the clients that attend are there to do their own thing. I have had the experience of many gyms, but this has exceeded my expectations by far. Glad I joined.

I have been coming here as a Black Card member for years since this this Planet Fitness opened with all my friends at #fashionplacemall due to convenience. And for 3 years with my Husband since I got married. The assistant manager was very Unprofessional to my husband and a team member who knows us..As also a Dietician in this area I hesitate to recommend this gyms location...

I went with a friend for free. I loved all the machines that they had. We went at the best time. There wasnt a lot of people. We are just starting to get in shape. I really enjoyed myself. I will recommend them to all my friends.

I’ve joined this location for a month now. I switched from 24-hr fitness. Planet fitness is worth the switch. I pay 1/3 of what I paid at 24 hr fitness. This location is clean and has a friendly staff. It’s never crowded and they maintain their equipment. Clean restrooms.

Really like this place. Not really busy and a laid back environment. Workers are great; Cory is the best!

I love being able to work out at this location. Staff are all really nice. It doesnt smell like a gym either; because they keep things so clean.

For being a customer with since 2017 and a premium customer since 2018, I cant believe the experience I had today. When cancelling my membership, this representative was extremely unprofessional when he was actually shamming me several times for cancelling my premium membership. What is appalling is the fact this brand stands for a judgement free zone or no critics and this representative was actually in the process of training another person... I cancelled my membership because most of my friends have moved to VASA and the ones that were still at Planet Fitness had temporarily cancelled their membership. I had every intention of returning after COVID but unless I speak to a manager and there is a proper restitution I will be permanently moving to VASA.

They are a clean and great place to work out.

Great informative tour with Jenna. The place is clean, and it wasnt overly busy when I was there. Ill get the upgraded membership to use the massage bed, red light cubicle, and tanning bed (in moderation!).

The gym is clean and everything is maintained pretty well but what is with the lack of free weights or squat rack? The max dumbbell weight is 80-90lbs or you can use the smith machine which limits your body’s movement to the way the machine is designed. This gym would be great if they had a squat rack but without one, chest and leg days are very uncomfortable.

This is a Joke. Another store couldnt find my account information that I had just started online on 02/29. So thinking I must not have opened it incorrectly, I opened another account at the gym on my way home from work. I was able to track down the email for the original account when I got home, which was opened for a gym that isnt even operational yet. So I call thinking this is just a clerical situation and it wont take a lot to fix it. No its not, now these clowns are making me go into another gym to cancel the account claiming that they need my signature to cancel. Which I find odd, because they didnt need it to open the account in the first place. What a joke.

Great gym for all levels of gym goers. Just right mix of machines/equipment that a naive does not feel lost or intimidated and a pro does not feel lack of equipment. Gets busy at peak times but thats expected. Will be awesome if they could add section for sled and farmers walk

The staff is always very welcoming and give me candy all the time. (Kind of a coincidence considering its a gym??) One thing that really pulls my gears is the fact they have safety lines on the weights which means no cleaning for me... I HATE THIS. all in all its pretty great and has lots of room for whatever you want. Great place to workout

I tried to cancel my membership and so I called them and talked to their manager. He ended up refunding me for only 2 months out of the past 6 that I have been charged when I called back in January to have it canceled. I called a couple weeks ago and the manager told me he would refund me me for 3 months - which he only refunded 2. And then get this.. I was charged for both months of june and july. So technically I didnt get refunded or my membership cancelled like they told me. I called today and they said they would call me back later. These people are dishonest, have poor customer service skills and clearly lack integrity. Im glad I switched to vasa!

Two things happened I didnt like: 1) an employee was rude to me over the phone and 2) it takes them forever to fix a machine that is down. I am talking specifically of the stair machines. From the moment I signed up until I cancelled my membership (3 months total) those stair machines were not fixed. I expect the machines to be working and when not, fixed immediately. Perhaps paying only $10 a month is why they dont get on them immediately. I canceled and moved over to a gym that had higher premium pricing but made sure to at least have all the machines working

The gym itself is fine. Standard equipment and all. But my last two interactions with staff have been disappointing to say the least. First- I approached the front desk and told the gal I’d like to sign up for the next class taking place, and said I was new to the gym so I didn’t know how to properly sign up in advance. She had no idea what the class even was and then told me to walk around and find the trainer. So again I told her I’m new to the gym and would have no idea what the trainer looks like. The next time I showed up for a class I’m told that the trainer isn’t working because he was needed at his other job. She says he might be back tomorrow, he might not. I shook my head and headed to the treadmills. Then, as I am ON the treadmill, another employee approached me asked if she could clean the machine that I am about to use. So bizarre. I asked to speak to a manager about these weird interactions and was met with an indifferent blank stare.So again, the gym is fine. But customer service here blows.

The amenities are great

Equipment is fine, place is generally clean. But non-refundable annual fee was irritating-- I tried the gym for six weeks and it didnt meet my needs, yet they wouldnt refund the $40 annual fee. So $10 per month became more like $30 per month. Never going back

Been a member now for over a year (not going as often as I should, of course) and I can honestly say that i love this place. Never had any problems with staff or anyone else here. People are polite and all working toward the same goal. Keep it up!

What a great experience. I started off by going to the competition. But they treated me poorly, they didnt divulge all the fees that were going to happen later on. And when I confronted them on it, they acted like I was crazy. So I told them that I was going to go to Planet Fitness. and the staff got really snotty with me. now when I got to Planet Fitness, they treated me great. I went there with the intention to utilize their facilities with their $10 a month special. I was immediately given a tour buy a brand new employee oh, I was her first tour. I told Becca, the girls name, but I wanted her to sell me the higher-priced membership. She did so well, and I bought the full membership. They have Hydra massage, they also have really nice chair massages. They have tanning booths and a really cool system that helps you shrink your skin as you lose weight. I found my gym. and I think anybody who reads this should choose Planet Fitness over that vacca Visa I dont know the name of it, nor do I need to. thank you Planet Fitness for meeting my expectations in a Fitness Center.

24hrs of muscle pumping, cycle spinning, sweat dripping good times. Mens Locker room and facilities were clean and spacious. ADA compliant and useful.

Totally love it. Very nice people.Go out of their way to help you in any situation. Affordable prices. Nice Gym and easy to figure out the equipment. The only down side is Ive seen the guys will sweat all over a piece of the equipment then move on to the next and NOT wipe the one down they were on.Come on guys its totally gross.Please be so kinda an wipe it down when your done using it. Other then that I would recommend Planet Fitness to anybody.

I had the worst experience in this place. I paid for my membership and on my second day, someone cut the lock on my locker and stole my entire purse: wallet, ID, credit cards, house keys, etc. The staff didnt help me at all. I called the police and again the staff were like they dont care. The thief took almost $ 2000 from my cards. I needed to cancel the subscription, for obvious reasons, and they made me go there again to sign an stupid paperwork. For real??Seriously, I really regret the decision to go to this Planet Fitness.

Great choice if your self motivated I guess, or if you want a cheap tanning pass. But they dont have any classes that work with my schedule and theyre massage chairs are a cheap, lame, over priced vibrator

They have really upped their game with the covert 19 and made sure that all of the equipment is separated enough not to have disease spread

I used PF years ago and ultimately cancelled with them because they didnt have rowing machines. The Murray location has a few rowers! They keep the equipment clean too. Still wish they had power racks instead of Smith machines. Billing is easy, I dont love the annual fee but its expected at a low cost gym. Staff dont enhance or hinder the experience, I have minimal interaction with them.

Not very hospitable brance! We cane from another state to work out in this brance the crew person didnt know what to do with us, was very rude and asked us to wait for his boss for more than an hour. This is not the way to treat your guests!. The staff members should know how to help the guests not just to check them in. We went to a different branch and they were very nice and we did a very good workout!.

It was fun till my wife showed up and talked crazy to me outside.

This is now 24/7. I am a gym newbie and I feel like I look super funny when I workout but nobody judges here. And there is a great 30 minute workout space.

My go to gym! I used to work here so I might be biased, but it is easily the cleanest gym. They are up to date with equipment, there is free Fitness training, and of something needs maintenance than it is fixed quickly.

Worked out here for 2 years and overall it’s a great value. Sign up in December and it’s only $100 if you pay year in advance and no signup fees if they run their promotion which they usually do. Very open equipment at lunchtime. My only complaint is it doesn’t seem like they clean their showers super often.

Woah purple. Obviously this place likes purple and purple is all over the place.I came here with a friend that had a buddy pass around 7:45 PM. The place wasnt empty but wasnt busy either. We had plenty of time to work out and didnt feel crowded by others.

Yo Jason is an absolute madman, the man puts pear essential oil in the cleaning spray. He treats the gym like his own home, yall should be giving my man a raise. No but for real he makes the environment super comfortable and lovely to be in, and it wouldnt be the Sams without him. The rest of the staff is lucky to have him.

Equipment is VERY basic.

Best planet fitness in salt lake area and I’ve been to almost all of them. They have a great selection of equipment, but on top of that they are clean AND all the staff is friendly. Out off all the gyms I’ve been to this has taken my number 1 slot. I really do have to say that the staff goes above and beyond for their customers.

I think the facility is great. Never super crowded, always clean, people are friendly enough. However I guess signing up I should have asked more questions because they failed to mention how their billing cycles work and that basically I had to pay twice in the month of January. So really I paid more than what their advertisements state.When I called to ask about it then they choose to casually mention that, dont even apologize for not mentioning that to begin with. I will agree I should have read things better on the electronic signing pad which the contract appears, and maybe even asked for a physical copy but for now Im going to be that annoying petty person on Google Reviews that probably no one cares about but whatever.

Loved the staff at this location as well. Also the giant ceiling fans are sweeet!!! My fav section is the 30 minute workout area.

Clean, friendly, spacious, with lots of equipment to go around. One of my favorite places to unwind and burn off the stress of the day. If you dont like the once-a-month Pizza Monday, do what I do: DONT EAT IT. But I will fersure be taking a Tootsie Roll on my way out.

Im a black card member and I can say that planet fitness in Murray utah is the greatest. Stefan is the trainer there and he is knowledgeable and hands on . The hole experience is really great

This a good starter gym and there’s no judgement or foul smell, it’s my favorite gym if I don’t want to struggle in an overcrowded and stinky gym. They are open 24/7. There’s a lot of Pros, the only con I see is the lack of free weights.
