New fitness manager is doing a great job. Hes very accommodating and doing a great job of making me feel like a valued customer. Huge improvement compared to the last guy

I think this gym opened up about 6 months ago at this location and I absolutely love it. This is Hands down, the best choice I have ever made. The team there is very friendly! I personally got helped by Matthew, who is super friendly and will get you setup with anything you need. I am certainly satisfied thus far and have been blown away by my experience. I would highly recommend it to my friends and family! 🙌🙌

Extremely pushy about absolutely everything. I was trying to go for a 7 day trial period and only needed to go once to know this was not the place for me. They asked if I was interested in a personal trainer at least 5 times and every time I said very clearly no, not interested even a little. When they were finishing off my membership they had the manager come over to ask me again if I was interested in personal training. No means no. They also asked me to give 5 names and phone numbers of people for referrals and when I said no they told me they wouldnt get a good grade if I didnt give them that information. All I was trying to do was workout! This all made me feel very uncomfortable and honestly was a major waste of my time. The gym equipment was fine. Honestly, I prefer planet fitnesss cardio equipment and they are not harassing me about signing up for things I have no interest in so I will be renewing that membership instead. When I called to cancel my membership the same day I received a call back to ask why I was cancelling even though I already told them the reason the first time and when the manager, Justin, didnt like my response he hung up on me! Add that to the list of reasons this isnt the gym for me.

This place, at least, (hope not all EoS) is very dishonest. I am a person in a wheelchair and didnt expect to be able to use many equipments. Nevertheless, I purchased the highest membership because it allows me to bring a guest (my caregiver) After her few visits, she wanted to be a member and I referred her.After waiting for a month, I asked do I get a t-shirt based on my referral?They said We dont have a t-shirts at this time. T-shirts wasnt available for the next two months and I stopped asking.I said I dont need a t-shirt, but why do you still have that AD with the referral program? Your business is not quite honestThis was a few months ago. Today, I asked them to downgrade my membership to the basic. They said there is 50$(or something) fee to downgrade the membership and you can only downgrade it to the middle level, not the basicI have never heard about downgrading fee when I subscribed the membership. My membership doesnt have a contract and I can simply leave this gym, but I felt like somethings have been not right.After some waiting, I talked to a manager Now, I have to leave in 2 mins. Please listen. The membership I have allows me use any equipment and any facility. But I can only use 4~5 equipments. OK. I will keep my membership, but I will officially ask you reasonable ADA accommodations. Lets talk next weekend.This place has completely no business ethic.

I like it because its really clean, less crowded, and there isnt always equipment missing. If youre a swimmer, the pool is also really clean and they have flags and kickboards! Most big gyms dont have those little details like these in their pools that make our workouts better.

I tried out the gym with a friend, which was great until I left...Coming home I had police at my door because the gym released my information in reference to a red Mazda car theft that they said I was an accomplice to.I was detained in handcuffs and embarrassed in front of my neighbors. After being questioned, released and apologized to (for having the wrong person); I decided not to join a gym that freely releases information without any logic in place as to who could possibly be wrongly accused. Lets just release anyones name!Where are the data privacy practices? Why was my name a part of a car theft? The car was taken at 630 and I left at 7 pm, why not check the cameras to see if I left later?Good equipment, dumb management.

As others have said, it’s hot in this gym. Only 1 out of 4 fans is ever on. The a/c is never on, I assume it’s broken. It’s a brand new gym, so I’m not sure how it could be broken, but it is.Just looked at the thermostat, 85 in the gym and this is right under the only working fan. Easily over 90 in the rest of the gym.They brought in a portable swap cooler, of course much like the fans, it’s not turned on. Record setting hot temps outside, no air conditioner on the building.

This place is a scam, do not go here for a gym membership and especially not for the personal training. They’ll lock you into a contract for 6+ months at $80+ every two weeks (that is NOT including the membership or yearly membership fee they take out on top of that) with 0 ways to cancel after telling you you can cancel the training anytime. They tell you you’re signing a waiver for the trainer to not be responsible for any personal injuries, but actually it’s a contract saying you know you can’t cancel your training once it’s started. My trainer was told about a previous injury I had and to not do exercises regarding that area... but the first thing they had me do re-injured that area. Then they proceeded to forget to put clips on the weights and I almost lost control when the weights started to slide off the bar. Not to mention injuring my back because of this action. The gym it’s self is a nice set up, but the people they have working here are going to create a huge lawsuit for the company. I would have loved this place if they had just allowed me to get what I came here for originally... A GYM MEMBERSHIP, but they decided to scam me into so much more than that and I will never go back here again. Especially not after how they treated me when I asked to cancel, such as refusing to call me back and repeatedly routing me back to the front desk after they would tell me they would put me on hold for the manager to speak to me. The manager laughed when I told him what they’re doing is illegal and just morally wrong, so if you don’t have means to get a lawyer then don’t even try going here.

One if not the best gyms Ive ever went to. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed they have a pool and a sauna for only $30 a month for the expensive package what a steal. They have hundreds of free weights as well as machines and has a cinema that you can run in. I would definitely get this a look at they have huge fan so it never gets too hot and if youre not hot already thats your fault. It would be cool if they had a nice machine next to the water fountains their Waters a little warm. 10/10 would recommend this is my second home.

EOS Fitness is my favorite gym in the valley. They have new equipment and should something break, they usually have it fixed within a few days. Ive been a member of Planet Fitness, Vasa, 24 Hour (no longer in Utah), and others. This is by far the best gym with the best staff. My only complaint would be the number of people going to the gym - because it really is a great value. I shouldve written a negative review to keep people away... but that would be dishonest. Another complaint might be the bros that come workout and theyre loud with their buddies - swearing up a storm and being annoying. But you get that at most gyms. You also have a lot of average people here simply trying to improve their health, which is great! There is never a reason to feel intimidated. They have spray bottles and towels available to wipe down equipment, which many people use. They were used more when people cared more about the pandemic. You may even still see a few people wearing masks. Its too bad people arent more careful, but what else can you do?

This gym is extremely hot. It’s easily 80-90 degrees in this place. The thermostat is set to 78, still to hot, but it’s much hotter than 78 in most parts of the gym. They have 3 large fans, I’ve never seen them all on at the same time. This place is borderline to hot to workout in.I can’t imagine how hot this place is going to be during the summer.

Gym is new, set up is nice. The pool, sauna and hydro massage chairs are are great bonuses. It has been hot, but you can’t make parts come faster than they do so I can’t really fault them there. Regardless of the time of day I go it’s busy but not so packed you can’t find a spot to workout or a machine to use. I am disappointed that they’ve been open for this long and the child care center is still full of boxes and unassembled furniture. My girls love going with me to the gym so they can play while I workout, which they haven’t been able to do since this one opened.

EOS is a great gym. Tons of new equipment and weights so you’re never waiting for anything. The best affordability around and it’s nice that everyone just minds their own business. Also it’s 24 hours.. Talk to Matt if you want to look into working out. The only downside is there are some really hot pockets of the gym as none of the fans work!

Love this place! They have everything you could want and dont nickel and dime you for all the services...I have crazy hours so I love that its 24 hours a day too!

This gym isnt near my home, there are two gyms much closer; but this is my gym. More free weights more squat racks.

Equipment is new since they open in 2021 I believe but starting to look run down. There’s no central air so it feels like an oven even though they have fans and cute little mobile air conditioning units especially with this heat waves we are getting. Also busy hours is almost impossible to workout on what you have planned to work on. Other than that it would be a perfect gym.

Signing up for this gym was the biggest mistake of my life. I was encouraged to refer multiple people to get a better rate, which only resulted in me being charged for multiple accounts. Its been over a year and Im still getting emails and phone calls with threats that Im being taken to collections when I never set foot in an EOS gym due to the negative experience its been, Ive called the corporate office - which is another company ABC Financial at least 5 times now and spoken with various managers at the gym and still get random emails stating I owe money that will soon go to collections. It was easier to deal with Golds gym which is really sad to say. DONT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK INFO !

Always crowded. Hard to get out of completed contracts (specifically personal training). Really hot. I liked my personal trainer but it was so expensive for 30 mins a week. ($40 every session) Everytime I bring a guest they take so much info from them (takes 10 minutes) and they sign them up for emails. The classes are very nice (as well as the teachers) but they are often full and overcrowded regardless of sign ups.

I love this gym however, it EXTREMELY hot. There is never AC & only one fan on each day!! Sum bull**** I used to love using the YARD however, there is not any yoga mats?? it’s seems like its never been cleaned! Hair in my fingers and my hands are grimy!

The biggest problem is the AC doesnt work and it gets so miserably hot inside and they havent been able to fix it despite obvious work going on with it. they put fans and small ac units throughout the gym but it does not help. puddles forming on the floors from leaks. The cleaning staff only cleans the floors. No one is cleaning the machines or weights and they are getting dingy.I was forced to set up automatic deduction from my bank account instead of my credit card which was not my preference.

I was very frustrated with my billing and had been trying to contact a manager for weeks with ZERO calls back. I finally went in to the gym this week to figure it out, extremely frustrated, and was finally was able to speak with a manager. The only staff member treating me with kindness and respect was the cute brunette girl at the front desk. Thank you to her for the patience. I will still be coming to the gym because I think it’s a great gym (besides the heat.) just not too thrilled with their management.

Decent gym but sales team is super over the top. Came in here last week just trying to start my free one week trial and test out if I liked the gym and one of the sales team (who I will not name) was super in my face and pushy, took me 30 minutes just to get out of the conversation and get my work out started. Super pushy about needing to sign up on the first day and didn’t want to take no for an answer. Reading all these reviews I’m super glad I didn’t give them my card info and will not be signing up for a membership after my free trial expires. PS sales team members might want to hide their desktop from prospective customers…I saw the entire screen that had notes on how to respond to customers depending on their reason for not wanting a membership which was really unprofessional. Giving 3 stars because gym is decent and employee was just doing what they had to do…I respect the hustle but maybe advise the sales team to back off a little. The over the top pushiness was really off putting and only made me NOT want to sign up because it seemed suspicious

Not your typical gym full of rats. A diverse group of people, minding their own and working on their health. Staff is friendly, and the equipment is usually in great form. The place is clean, but they could do better with the locker rooms. They also have a long standing roof issue, so they frequently have buckets collecting dripping water—come on!

Love this gym. Weights are always put away (where they are supposed to be). Staff is awesome. And a major plus, they are open 24hrs

They take awesome care of the gym! Equipment is high quality and kept clean, they constantly have people out cleaning, keeping things stocked, etc. The price value is amazing. I have gone during the busiest times and they still have enough equipment that you either arent waiting or dont have to wait long. Definitely recommend.

This gym is nice and the classes are great. My low rating is for the pushy sales/membership team. Cameron (the manager) signed me up for a membership. He tried to get my routing number for my checking account and told me no one has ever asked to use their credit card before. He gave me a lot of push back when I told him I dont hand that info over to gyms and he said a credit card probably wont even work in the system (which is a load of BS). He also pushed me to give him 5 friend referrals and sign up for a personal trainer after I told him I wasnt interested. Once you get past the pushy sales people, its a nice gym.

Nice facility way over crowded good luck doing a workout of ur choice its more of. Ahang out sesh for people to show off then to actually get in the fitness game and sweat ur head off id go to planet fitness may have a dumb alarm but its clean and well maintained

Classes are starting back up but theyre not posting any schedules. I was told I needed to check online for the schedule of a class I dont want to take. Water fitness class closes the entire pool for 8 participants and eliminates lap swimming. The young man at the front desk was nice enough to suggest I find something else in the gym to do.

No social distancing enforcement, literally 18-30 somethings in big mask-less groups and empty sanitizer bottles abound.

EOS Murray is really a nice facility with new equipment. So I cant complain there.My poor review is based off how INCREDIBLY HOT the gym is due to the air conditioning not working for MONTHS.I completely understand that part replacements may take a little time, but after months of misery at this gym I had to go back to Vasa just to have a comfortable workout.If they would get their air conditioner REPLACED rather than repaired, they would get a 4-5 star rating from me. But right now, its miserable setting foot in that place due to the heat.

Very nice place. Lots of weight machines, free weights, walking, running, and bicycle machines as well. Nice pool in which I swam 8 laps. Great Hot Tub as well!

I think the depths of Hades resides at the Murray EOS because heaven help me it was a sauna in there. The equipment easily was a 5 star rating and I had a wonderful workout. But the temperature was very uncomfortable and I worry patrons may pass outStay hydrated at this Gym.

Love this gym so much however it is way too hot. Will change my review depending on speed of fixing it.

The lack of air conditioning is appalling and EŌS is dedicated to a cheap way out only. That building even when it was Gart Sports and Sports Authority had the exact same Air Conditioning issues going back more than 20 years. The random fans and evaporation coolers barely touch it. They frequently have the doors wide open allowing even more heat in and don’t utilize all of the resources they have in ceiling fans to keep the heat down. It’s regularly 80-85 in the building after 11:00am. I changed to coming in the mornings and it’s still nearly 80. Clearly they are unwilling to invest in an HVAC to permanently SOLVE THE PROBLEM. Absolutely unfair to ever member and not the value and product we signed up for. Ownership and management should be having a dialogue with the members keeping us updated on the HVAC but they opt for silence. You only get stumbling answers of “oh we’re doing all we can” which after 3 months is not true. Also when cracked or broken parts on equipment are pointed out it’s ignored and not repaired. No different than VASA in that respect. My last frustration is machines out of place so they wobble due to the uneven floors. That’s also been ignored. Other than those things it’s a decent place.

The gym is always kept clean which is great! As everyone else mentioned, its pretty hot in there. They did add some portable AC units (or cooling fans) throughout the gym which helps a bit. The back corner where the glute thrust machine is has very little air flow.. just fyi. Other than it being hot, I havent had any problems here.

My husband signed up for the gym because they have all the services he needed to be able to work out (or at least that’s what he thought), we didn’t even realized they were lying the whole time to make sign a contract.My husband needed the child care and specifically said that to the person that signed his up, my kid is a year and a half and he told him his age and the worker said that the gym was going to admit it anyways and when He took my kid to the child care they said they are not accepting children less than 2 years old. My husband talked to the guy and told him to LIE about our child’s age. LIE, EASY right?Also they signed him up on a contract with a trainer for 6 months we didn’t have idea existed, he talked to the guy and told him I would like to pay for 2 clases ONLY! and he said it was okay and that I could cancel anytime but when he tried to cancel they said: I could not because of the contract We also tried to cancel the membership and was told that because of the contract We can’t cancel either. My husband talked to the manager and told him to freeze the account (which he said he was going to do right away) but he didn’t.We spent almost 400$ so far in the gym. Every two weeks 84$ about a personal training (1 hour in two weeks, MISERABLE, trap service, you can wach others rewiews),19$ and 20$ for the membership, and 80.41$ anual fee in this first month. We have to pay and use it or PAY and NO USE IT, this is the answer that they give us, becacuse of the firm in the contract, obtained by liar worker. Im talking about the West Jordan location but read similars situations here.SCAMMERS, LIARS

I have been working out here for about 8 months and will continue.Pros-well equipped-variety of classes-friendly employees-clean spaces including bathrooms-all equipment working most the the time-movie room is pretty cool-open 24 hoursCons (ish)-just be aware that social distancing efforts and mask wearing is no longer in effect. Yay for vaccines, but if youre at risk, this isnt the place for you.-like every other gym, lengthy efforts are required to cancel-it feels busy all the time. I know its not reasonable to have the whole room to yourself, but I do have to give my good and curvy self a pep talk before heading into the seas of young, fit, knows-exactly-what-theyre-doing-ers.-theres the monthly fee, and theres also a yearly fee. I dont really understand what its for so just...realize it works out to about +$5 a month.-the push to invite others to sign up is super strong. They ask you to fill out a referral card as soon as you sign up. But I find crazy because I would never refer my friends to something that I havent even tried yet.-I hope theyre able to start the child care facility -soon. 🤞

Horrible employees, I went in to try and renew my membership but had to wait 25minsew and was told to wait to talk to someone while 5 employees were standing there doing nothing but talking about food and sports they were so loud. Whenever he noticed i was still waiting all he said is My bad we were in a important meeting clearly lying to my face Im glad i didnt renew

Best overall gym in the area. I toured PF, VASA, Lions, and Sports Mall, and EOS dominated every category I was shopping: Equip, Locker Room, Cleanliness, Crowd, Upselling Annoyance.

If it was possible to give it less than a star I would. The facility itself is great. It’s new so that’s expected. HOWEVER I joined about a month ago, wanted to cancel the personal training sessions because I was told one price and now the price changed(it went from $20 a session to $45). I tried to call to cancel because it’s way to expensive. They have THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. No one knows absolutely anything but they sure know how to take down a credit card. I’ve called every location. Called everyday for almost a week. Emailed some guy named Kalen. Never returned my email. Spoke to the trainer Chris who said he would freeze my sessions, that’s not true. Good luck trying to get anyone to help with anything that doesn’t involve signing you up for a membership.

Signed up first part of January and explained about some changes and I might have to change my payment date. I was told that wouldnt be a problem. For 3 weeks I havent be able to do this. I spoke with 3 different people who said they could help me. NO ONE CONTACTED ME THE PROBLEM WASNT RESOLVED. I was told there were no notes. I finally got so fed up I told them to CANCEL my membership. Now I have to pay an 80 dollar membership fee for something I never used. HOW IS THIS FAIR?

EoS is a great gym. We started working out here last month and have thoroughly enjoyed it. They do a great job of keeping everything clean and maintained. They also have a lot of unique machines that Ive never seen at other gyms, which I love. The team members are all super friendly too.

This is honestly a fantastic gym! There is always equipment and it has a great atmosphere. However, this gym is defintley a hot spot for thieves. My car got broken into (not sure why they broke in, nothing was in sight). and I have seen 2 broken windows myself. The murray cop I talked to told me that this gym is especially bad with car break ins. I feel like the gym should put in a camera in the parking lot or something. I am always worried about my car now.

Be careful with this place. They are the stereotypical gotcha gym that gives all gyms a bad rap. Their phone number doesnt connect to anything, their app doesnt allow cancelations and doesnt work in a few ways. They also charge $50 just to cancel. Be sure to read all the fine print before signing. Though they are famous for pushy aggressive salesmen so youll have to fight with them to be allowed the time.

I was out of the country for three months I come back to find out my account was never frozen they are trying to charge me for the months I was not in the country I love the gym I just hate the service they didn’t even try to compensate me for the months I was not here and just pay the months that I was here I’m very upset about it they said they can’t do anything about it so I am out along with all my referrals

Its only been a week but I love it so far! Very nice and attentive staff, facility is nice and not quite as busy as Vasa. They even let me put my gymnastic rings up unlike a lot of other places. Good location for me too. Missing a few machines I like but they work with you on that. Thanks Eos

So I just signed up(Taylorsville) and it looks promising. I would have enjoyed the sign on process if the assist manager would stop hounding me for referrals. I got a black card and he said I could not go to other locations till I gave him 5 referrals, even after getting the black card. When he was talking about the referral program he said that today he could send me on my way with a free shirt just for signing up. At the end of the sign up I asked him about the shirt. He said that he needed his numbers for referrals so if I wanted a shirt I needed to give him 3 more referrals. I already gave him two. I just want to work out, Stop trying to be a salesman.

Stopped by a couple times while I was visiting from out of town. Their facility is very clean, plenty of equipment and very friendly/helpful staff. Great gym!

No Cardio Cinema when I go at 3am. They used to run it 24 hours and it was something I used everyday and was one of the best amenities the gym offers but now its shut off after midnight which makes no sense considering the gym is open 24 hours. Definitely frustrating!

Fix the AC! Fans are not enough when its 102° of Utah heat.Its unacceptable that it has taken MONTHS, with no fix in sight.It is impossible to workout when it is 90° inside the building, and the sales people keep interrupting you for 30 minutes at a time trying to con you into referring people and buying lessons and trainers you DO NOT WANT. Yall more predatory for them referrals than timeshare salesman

One of the best gyms Ive ever been to! It has most any equipment you could want, they have a wide range of weights, a pool. Everything is kept very clean and orderly.

Guy named Zach completely unprofessional. Doesnt know how to communicate with people who dont look like him...acts like he has something to prove.. rather than being a problem solver. Literally just made everything worse.. came off as one of those people who receive a lil power and abuses it.

I am super frustrated.When I originally signed up the gym had not opened. I wasn’t really informed clearly when the gym opened and that I would be charger over $70 bucks 30 days after opening.That was probably my bad.However, the manger at the time (who no longer is the manger) gave me a paper stating 100% money back guaranteed within the first 30 days. I realized they were opened when they charged my account.I went in person to cancel the account because I was upset at the large amount of money unexpectedly charged. (Once again probably my bad)I talked to two girls in person at the front desk who told me they cancelled my account and I should receive in full in 5-7 days.I waited and never received a refund. I called back about two weeks later and it was stated my account was never cancelled but they would cancel it now and they would have a manger call me.I waited maybe a week and called back they also stated that my account and not been cancelled and there was no note.Finally they had a manger called me and left a voice mail stating that there was no record of me on the original date.I am beyond frustrated!Staff I have talked toMax (no longer works there)Two girls at counter (wish I would have got their names)LaurenChrisCameron (left me a message and haven’t been able to get ahold of him)Scottie - says he processed the refund and I should see it in 5-7 days. Great facility. Love the brand new equipment, and the fact that they have a lot more to choose from than competitors. The layout is fine.My only complaints are that they don’t require everyone to wear masks, or limit the amount of members in the building at any given time.

Honestly the main reason why I go is to see Joel’s smile. My friends always talk about how welcoming he is to everyone. He should honestly be the main model for the place with how kind he is. Joel is a cool, intellectual, popular, well-liked, needed, important person. A person thats more important than regular people. Communication across the team at EoS is all over. Creating confusion among members leaving us angry. Cool place to work out but the team is awful and needs work. No one is taking leadership to ensure great customer service.

It seem that they want to save money because the AC is never on. I was told by staff that the AC is not working and it is 6 figures to fix it. So how can this gym be open ?

I really like this gym! But some employees are super super unprofessional.. someone hit my car in the parking lot so I did a report to the police nad the front desk they never check the cameras out for me in the parking lot to see if I get luck! N get info also I went back N ask a lady name tylor In the front desk about if she can help she just say that she was tired and late to help me what kind of service is this I should stay I’d better stayed at vasa!!

Paying for a black pass is pointless. Salesman will lie to you and say you need it to use the pool and stuff. Everyone is allowed to use the pool/hot tube/court.
