It has now been about 3 weeks since I moved into Palmetto apartments and Elsy and Ana have made the process very easy. Since I called to inquire about the apartments to scheduling a tour, everything has been a breeze. Thank you to Elsy and Ana for being so accommodating as we moved in within a week of applying. Apartments are well maintained and very enjoyable. Highly recommend.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and close to major stores. It really feels like a community and I am happy I chose Palmetto as my home.

I recently moved to Palmetto with my family and I cant express how much the staff has done for me. Elsy & Ana did an amazing job walking me through the steps of leasing, how to load my laundry card, and even setting up my online tenant portal. They even walked us over to our assigned carports, and had our storage cupboard cleaned out. Theyve made transitioning into a new home such a breeze!Soon after moving-in, I submitted a maintenance request to have a light replaced, and Oscar contacted me promptly to set-up a date and time to service my home, and finished with 30-minutes or so. He was such a friendly face and made me comfortable the entire time while complying with CDC guidelines and maintaining a 6-feet distance.If you want to live somewhere where you matter most, I invite you all here in a heart beat!

I am looking for an apartment and having been touring around all the Bay Area. So far these apartments have been my favorite, very clean, affordable and the tour was very detailed. Elsy and Ana helped me out so much. I had a lot of questions and they both explained everything well and professionally. I’m definitely considering these apartments, I haven’t had any other great experiences anywhere else.

We are electrical contractors or vendors for Ana and Elsy at Palmetto Apts. Both women are nice easy to work with and professional. Anytime there’s any electrical problem they want to correct it int the best interest of the tenant and property not necessarily looking for the cheapest or to just bandaid the problem. My overall experience has been they represent the property at the highest level with the great attention to detail and interest to both the property and the tenants.Adrien

5 reasons with you should NOT rent at Palmetto Apartments:1. Zero flexibility during a pandemic - I was laid off at 5 months pregnant and my husband had to relocate for his job due to covid-19. After explaining our situation multiple times they offered zero flexibility, held us to the full 5K lease break fees, and we were told if we did not pay it they would send us to collections.2. Property managers who took over for Blanca are dishonest - after paying the full 5K penalty in addition to a full months rent during our last month I inquired about the cleaning standard that we would be held to upon exiting (to ensure sure they wouldnt also try to take further advantage of us by withholding additional fees from our deposit). The property manager explained that if the place looked how it did at move in (mind you, we only lived there 2 and a half months) then we would not be charged a cleaning fee. We had a cleaner spend 6 hours day of move out (just to be extra cautious) on a thorough deep clean. The cleaner even went to the front office to attempt a walk through with the manager after they were done and they wouldnt go and look at the unit. We were charged an addition $140 cleaning fee in from our deposit.3. Poor follow through - we were assigned a spot that was already assigned to another tenant (the back and forth on this went on for over 2 weeks) and had to switch to another parking area. We never received the gate opener (as promised) so we gave up on waiting and my husband started parking on the street.4. Thin walls - night one on move in we realized we made a mistake because we could hear the tenant above us snoring while we were trying to go to sleep.5. Loud and sloppy remodel jobs - they started renovations on the unit about us right after we moved in and not only was it extremely loud (while working from home during covid) the job was done poorly. The reno team made an error and improperly removed the dishwasher. I walked out one morning to water pouring from the ceiling through both light sockets in our kitchen.

Live here for 3yrs. Spacious apartment for a reasonable price. Management is nice. But there are couple of issues like insufficient bike parking and noisy neighbours

I would recommend to not take these apartments as the management doesnt take any responsibility for existing damages within the apartment and expects the tenent to take care of all the bills which can account to hundreds of dollars. They are also not good in terms of fixing any emergencies like clogged sink,etc and in some cases you may end up waiting for a week for the maintenance guy to show up which means you will not be able to cook or clean the dishes for that long. Poor management and poor service overall taking these into consideration these apartments can be considered as overpriced.

Quiet and well-maintained. Property manager is really nice.

3.5-4 overall. The laundry machines have been replaced in the last 8 months. Management has always been friendly. Noisy neighbors can be a problem; some think its okay to be loud outside or play instruments indoors during quiet hours.

Quite residential place, nearer to Walmart, Target and restaurants.

Kinda overpriced for what you get

Maybe my expectations are too high .. Ive lived here for 4+ years, lots of annoyances including the laundry machines, broken gates, major appliances that are antiquated and dont work well.
