Lived at Eaves creekside for the past 3 years and it was great! Staff is awesome, especially the maintenance team who would fix anything super quick free of charge with an easy on-line portal.Location is amazing because you can walk to Castro for food/drinks and also walk to the farmers market. Going for a stroll in the old Mountain View area is super safe at all times of day and a good way to get some fresh air. Southbound commutes are easy with quick access to the 85/237. Going north is harder as there is no northbound on-ramp at this exit however.Definitely would recommend checking out eaves creekside if you need a place to stay in Mountain View.
Ive been living here for around 3 years and its been a great experience. The maintenance staff is wonderful and respond to requests very quickly! Shout-out to Steve who handled my request!
We just renewed our lease for a second year and really love it here. The front office has been very kind and responsive since Allison started working here. We love the amenities, especially the dog spa, dog park, and grills. The location is great. Commuting on caltrain is easy and were close to some nice restaurants on Castro. The prices are reasonable considering the amenities and location, by Bay Area standards at least. The buildings themselves are a bit dated. We personally love the aesthetic, but it certainly is not modern.
Eaves creekside is an excellent place to live. the property is well managed, nicely maintained, and the maintenance staff are terrific. my only criticism would be that the buildings are older (1960s) and poorly insulated between floors so if you rent a downstairs unit, noise from upstairs neighbors is bothersome.
I just moved in and had the warmest welcome ever. The staff here is incredibly helpful from Allison, Vincent, Steve and to Felipe! They absolutely go out of their way to make sure everything you need is taken care of. I definitely recommend this place for those looking for their next place to call home 😊
If you’re looking for an apt complex in Mountain View near downtown Castro with great staffs (new mgmt), look no further. I originally picked this apt complex because it was near DT, a trail, is pet friendly and has great amenities. However, little did I know that this place def feels more like community. I’ve been here for a a year and a half now.All the staffs are very friendly (always waving to say hi) and have been so helpful.Whenever I would submit a service request, one of the maintenance crew members would get back to us that same day.Felipe did a great job fixing our carpet when it needed repairing. It’s also always a wonderful experience seeing Steve. He typically helps me with maintenance issues and would follow up to make sure that everything was okay.Mike was the first staff at Eaves that I personally spoke with. He even carried around dog treats and asked if he can greet my pup.Lastly, shout out to Victor and Allison for helping us transition smoothly from one unit to the next in such a short amount of time. Originally, I was going to move out of Eaves when my lease ended due to traveling plans. I even put in a 30 days notice and planned to leave 2 weeks prior to my lease ending date. My plans fell through and I told Allison that we needed to stay until our lease end date and was considering a bigger unit to move into. She was kind enough to let us stay in our unit until our original lease end date and showed us other units in the complex. She never pressured us to stay with Eaves and really worked with us and was so accommodating. Of course we ended up staying and it’s been nothing but a wonderful experience.
Cannot say enough about how incredible the management team is at Creekside. The main office staff are extremely responsive to requests and queries, and have really done an incredible job during COVID to keep our community running smoothly, safely, and to the best of their abilities given so many local operating restrictions. More than this, the maintenance staff, especially STEVE, make me feel like I have a home (and maybe even a local dad) taking care of me and anything that I may need to ensure every aspect of my apartment is operating optimally. He is so curious, always smiling, and responds to my requests faster than I could expect someone to. Thanks, guys, for all the work you do for us! (Also, for anyone looking for a place with amenities, the pools, BBQ areas, and gym are awesome and SO CLEAN).
We greatly enjoyed our time at eaves Creekside. Two things make this place stand out: The location and the excellent management team. The apartment complex is walking distance to Castro St with lots of restaurants and shops, next to Stevens Creek Trail (for cycling, running, walking) and close to both 237 and 85. The amenities (gym, pool and tennis courts) are great as well. But what really makes eaves special is the management team: Allison (and, previously, Amanda) were always very responsive with any questions or problems, and Steve always took quick care of any maintenance requests. A huge shout out to the team!
Living at Eaves Creekside is a wonderful experience, for two big reasons:1. Staff are onsite and always been helpful, professional. In recent years the staff have become even more friendly, positive, and proactive - for example creating community events, and reaching out to check on how things are going. The staff have always fulfilled any maintenance request within reasonable timeframe, sometimes very quickly. This is a top-notch team! Overall I feel like they care, and want me to be a part of this community.2. Exceptional value. Considering the total package, including location, substantial amenities, beautiful trees and landscaping, etc. the cost of living here is an exceptional value. Only trade-off worth mentioning - the convenience of having highway and rail nearby includes the related noise, which varies, depending on which building within the community one resides.
We lived here for almost 3 years and absolutely loved our stay. This place is a hidden gem with access to nearby Steven’s Creek trail right next to it and then access to semi-closed Edith Lendel school’s and community park within 3-4 minutes of walking distance. Kids totally loved their time specially during the pandemic times. There could be natural maintenance related issues with a slightly older community but a huge shout out to the service team - Allison and Steve who always responded with a sense of urgency and took care of all the concerns to make our stay even more memorable. Will miss this place!
Ive been at EC for 1.5 yrs. Great location, helpful staff. Shoutout to the maintenance and groundskeepers, its typically clean and well kept here. Only criticism is that the walls are pretty thin, but I have respectful neighbors. If it werent for that Id give this place 5 stars.
I love living at Eaves. Management has always been super helpful and quick to fix things when Ive submitted a request. Office staff are all super friendly and helpful. And its dog friendly! Special thanks to Allison in the office for always being a joy to talk to and very helpful, and for Steve in maintenance for always coming out so quick when Ive needed something. My only feedback Id offer for management is to make it easier to leave a voice message if we call when the staff has stepped out or after hours :)
Victor Spano, Apartment Manager is awesome! I have been very happy since I moved in. I have had a few questions and requests, and he has been accommodating and quick to reply, even on the weekends. The apartments are clean, good appliances, and there are nice amenities at the complex. Five stars!
I have always been impressed with maintenance here, response times are great and I am always satisfied with the work completed. I brought up to the leasing office team last week that the landscaping crew left debris all over my porch and Allison and Felipe were quick to respond and Felipe even came and cleaned off my porch! Thanks to Felipe for going the extra mile.
First, I usually dont write reviews without feeling positive experience and energy from anything or any place, and this place has the warmth and genuine behavior of everyone from this community, ....I have lived here for number of years and I love my neighbors many of whom lived here as long time residents. And my heartfelt Thanks and kudos to the hardworking and professional team at Eaves Creekside, Allison and her team (Community management), Felipe and his team (maintenance management) and I have become friends with them. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a decent place in a superb location, a stone throw from the downtown Mountain View. And yes, for a place like Mountain View, the management team tries to get you good rates (cannot expect cheap in Mountain View/Palo Alto of course).
We have been living here for over half a year. The overall experience is pretty great. Love the trail at the back of the apartment, and fair amount of glass area for outdoor activities. The management is pretty nice as well. Maintenance is speedy, we recently requested for help on our outlets and Max Sanchez showed up in 30 mins and fixed it for us.
This is one of the best communities I’ve experienced in South Bay. Maintenance is fast and responsive. Allison the new manager has been a breath of fresh air as well. She’s always delightful to talk to and even hauled a huge box of essential products for me when I didn’t pick up in time. She really went above and beyond. Joseph the supervisor negotiated our lease for a second year. We are so happy to live here and thank the entire team for all they do.
Posting an update since my 1-star review last year, because new management team have made things SO much better! The manager Allison is responsive, reasonable and very helpful. She went out of her way to make our experience here better, e.g. ensured a smooth move-out experience for us, proactively reached out to me when there is some left-over packages sent there after we moved out----------------------------------We have stayed in 4 Avalon properties in the bay area over 5 years, but Eaves Creekside is the absolutely the worst property and a huge disappointment. Besides the property being extremely old (built in 1970s) and lacking some key facilities (EV charging, air conditioning, hot tub etc.), we want to share the four real stories happened to us during this year for your reference:1. The building is SO old and poorly maintained that the roof broke and rain water flooded everywhere during our stay! :(( See photos of our place attached. Our entire floor was wet, our carpet soaked in water, the furniture damaged by the flood, and the wall was all brown. It turned out that there was a hole in the roof that was not properly fixed before this unit was rented out. The weeks following the incident, we had to live in construction noise every day and wait for the mess to be cleaned up.What made us most angry was that after all these terrible things happened, the building management just told us Hey this could happen to anyone. You can use your renters insurance. No reimbursement, no quick fix-up (it took weeks end to end), and no responses to our emails for days. It took many emails, phone calls, in-person meetings to get the situation barely fixed and only a few days of rent concessions back, despite all the disruptions to our life.2. We kept have personal valuables stolen in the complex. I parked and locked my $400 bike with TWO locks in my building under the staircase. First it was a ring bell and a bike light missing (I should have acted right then, now thinking back), and then my whole bike including the locks were gone!It turned out this complex is very unsafe and full of theft risks. My neighbor later shared that they had their bike locked on the second floor balcony also stolen last year! Just take a walk in the complex - if you look carefully around the bike stations, you will see a couple of bikes with stolen seats, wheels etc. parked here and there. No wonder the vacancy rate is so here in this complex right now.3. A lot of huge BUGs in your apartments! Starting from April, we spotted many bugs large and small in our apartment frequently (2-3/week). Some silver giant flies are as big as my thumb and SO disgusting!! The exterminator had to came and he mentioned that these bugs happen a lot in the apartment complex. They are caused by dead mouse nearby apparently :((.4. Unresponsive sloppy management. What kind of management takes 4 weeks to respond to a renewal request, when it is only 2 weeks before the lease end? First they started with a ridiculous renewing price that is way above the market (>20% more than the most expensive, exact same alternative units in the complex). Then when we asked for a short-term renewal price (to just bridge some personal plan during COVID), we had to email, call, and visit the office at least 10 times in the past 4 weeks to get some clarify on our options, but still we have no concrete answer back. It turned out the original manager just left the property and no proper transition was made then. As a result, the new managers in office are swamped. All in all, I have to say that I am supremely disappointed by our experience here. We had high hopes when we moved here from all the past good ones with Avalon. Unfortunately this particular place just does not live up to the reputation. I would recommend you look elsewhere because this property does not do Mountain View, a cute town the justice.I would also implore Avalon corporate to look into the operations at this particular property. If our stories are not enough, the high vacancy rate here is a very telling sign.
Really enjoyed my time living at Eaves Creekside, and even though I was only there for 10 months I can without a doubt say that it was pleasant. The grounds are well kept, and as someone who enjoys plants this was a total plus for me.I was there during covid, so I didnt use the pools or other amenities (though they did have an option to reserve a time for the pool). One of the community events I really enjoyed was the food trucks, which came once every week. Also, a big plus is being so close to Old Mountain View (a short walk to downtown) where theres a large farmers market every sunday. The manager, Allison, is personable, very friendly, and easy to talk to! The maintenance personnel, Steve and Filipe, who came to fix the washing machine in the apartment were wonderful, they were respectful, and troubleshooted the issue quickly.Overall, Id recommend it!
We are beyond grateful for such an amazing staff at Eaves Creekside. Allison has been such an amazing addition to the team! She is wonderful and makes this place really feel like a home. I also have to give a huge shout out to the amazing maintenance team! Without them, this place would be nothing. Mike and Steve are the best!!!
I got great support from the apartment maintenance team. Specially thanks to Max to help me quickly fix the mailbox lock.I also want to say thanks to Steve Gradel. He is super nice and every time I sent out maintenance requests he would come to fix everything very quickly.
Maintenance is top-notch with courteous professionals. I love the amenities too, and how you can set an appointment online safely during the covid crisis.
I lived at eaves Creekside in a tiny studio (200$ a month on heating, which seemed high for an apartment this tiny (
So far so good living here. We like our apartment and the maintenance issues are quickly fixed! Matt and the other techs do a great job!
The maintenance staff is very quick and responsive. Special thanks to Steve Gradel for helping us with heater and sink.
Wonderful community in bay area adjoining Stevens Creek Trail. Excellent green community that is next to a elementary school, which is very good if you have a school going kid.Community consultant Hanin was very helpful and answered all the questions, appreciate it.Now the only downside is that the kitchen is small, which will be a problem if you have lot of kitchen appliances.
The community is great and everything looks goodThere is no AC and it becomes super hot in Summer
I had a wonderful experience with the apartment tour. Hanin is wonderful! She patiently provided all the instructions to make the self-tour as easy as possible, answered all my questions and made sure to find the right apartment for me. I am looking forward to moving in soon!
Steve was super helpful and fixed things in no time!
I am incredibly pleased with my apartment so far. Everything is well kept, and the staff here are very helpful. I appreciate Hanin for providing excellent communication and for making the whole move-in process smooth.
We have a two bedroom with in-unit laundry, so we are loving it since it is a huge upgrade from our
Granted there was limited access to the units during the viewing due to COVID policies, overall the lease office made the unit inquiry and move-in process very smooth. Glad to call this place my home. Its a well maintained community in a very nice neighborhood.
We have been living at the complex for about 2 months now. Steve, the person in charge of maintenance is very response and extremely knowledgable. He typically responds within 1 hour of posting a maintenance request. They also helped us find the stud one time and instructed us on how to mount the tv. I am extremely happy with the service provided by Steve and his team
Ron from Eaves Creek was fantastic! He not only did the job, he was considerate of the Covid situation, friendly and punctual.
[ This review is for apartment tour ]A big shout out to Hanin from leasing staff. shes been very helpful, responsive and clarified all my questions promptly. Thank you so much Hanin!
We had a wonderful experience with moving to the new apartment in Avalon eaves Creekside. I am grateful to Alison and Hanin for the great communication and for the smoothness of the whole process of moving. Hanin answered all my questions and was helping us on every step of moving.
HIGHLY recommend this place. Their Community Consultant Hanin did a great job explaining everything and answering any questions I had. She really knew her stuff and was sweet and fun! 5/5 Thanks Hanin!
The staff here are helpful. Hanin took an extra mile to help us. The service team works hard to maintain the community. Good location to walk to downtown and Caltrain station. The only imperfect thing is the thin wall.
I would like to write a Review for the exceptional service. Great experience working with May, lovely personality, how she positively being connected and helping me with all the options I will be living in this lovely property. Thanks again May your are STAR ..
Well kept grounds, great and easy to work with community advisors, and a located in a quiet, safe area. Easy access to downtown Mountain View(8-10 minute walk). I loved living here for approx. a year and only moved out because I became a work from home employee and required more room/an office. Would recommend living here 10/10 times.
It was great pleasure to work with Hanin Idais. Her sincere help, above and beyond customer service skills get me into Avalon Community at Eaves Creekside. Her outstanding listening skills helped me to find the perfect match for my needs . When I decided to rent my lovely unit, she made everything super easy in my busy life - clear, organized and simple to understand. I would like to give her 7 star!!!! Excellent customer service.Thank you Hanin! I am so looking forward to move in and be part of the community.
This review is for Hanin! Although I didn’t lease an apartment here, she was very helpful and very friendly. She was very quick in responding to my emails and calls as well.
Hanin help us a lot in the application process. She responsed to our questions quickly.
I would like to write a review for the exceptional service team, especially Octavio and John. I had a couple of service requests on a Friday morning and they promptly arrived and took care of all of them and more. They didn’t hesitate a single moment, when I asked about other service items that I had forgotten to create a request for, like replacing light bulbs etc. They worked efficiently and with courtesy, that I have come to expect and always receive from eaves Creekside Service teams. Thanks a lot guys.
This has been a great place to live for me and my family over the last three years. Easy walking distance to schools, shopping, great restaurants, and CalTrain. The staff is friendly and responsive, and the amenities are great.eaves Creekside is perfectly situated in the Old Mountain View neighborhood, right next to the Steven’s Creek Trail, with easy access to major highways and interstates (85, 237, 280, 101, and the Central Expressway).
Great location. Pet-friendly -- they have a self-serve dog wash facility right on the premises. Staff are friendly and professional. Monthly community activities. And dog park right on the premises. Loads of walking trails and nearby creek.
I can tell you that the reviews are fake on here. I just moved out and lived there for 2 yrs. It was noisiest place I have lived in. The rent pre-COVID was so high and now that the price has gone down justifies the place. Also, I saw cop cars inside, paper thin walls and flooring, WFH was awful, loud neighbors.. It was a mess. With the pricing on apartments lower everywhere, suggest you look else where.
Not many properties can meet renters expectation and this is one of them. Despite the old building, its well maintained and the management is great! Its at a walking distance to Castro st, and its right next to the Stevens Creek trail.
Great apartment community. Excellent location! We moved in today and we are confident that we made the right choice. Well be minutes away from work. You cant beat the Stevens Creek Trail behind the community to get us to many places via foot or bike. We love our quiet home in this garden-style community. Theres a well-maintained tennis court in the back! Best yet, we give 5 solid stars to the staff, especially Hassan and Amanda. They are quick, smart, charming AND fun.
I’ve been staying at eaves Creekside for two years now. I have nothing but good things to say about this community.Ruben and Amanda at the leasing office have been great! They pay close attention to the needs of their residents. Fun resident events are planned by the staff here every month. Ive gotten to meet several neighbors there, who are now great friends. The maintenance staff has also been great. Felipe and his team are very responsive and courteous.I would recommend this community to anyone looking to live in the area.
This apartment complex is beautiful with lots of gardens and tress, and its conveniently located adjacent to the Stevens Creek Trail and right by downtown Mountain View. The unit itself is clean, recently renovated, and modestly-sized but with lots of storage. The staff at the front desk is phenomenal! Any issues that arose were dealt with swiftly and to my satisfaction. Ruben in particular has been very friendly and professional every time Ive asked about anything. The maintenance guys are awesome too! Thank you Creekside staff!
The buildings and grounds are maintained well. Maintenance was just a click away (on-line) - and they were so good, too! We talked to Sam in the front office when signing up for a one bedroom. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I loved having a dog park on the premises!! FABULOUS!
Honestly not a bad place to live. My lease was for one year and I had a single bedroom unit. The price was astronomical high (but fair for the area). The amenities are decent (small, but equipped gym and a clubhouse with pools and grills), but nothing to write home about. The place was clean, but a bit old and run down (even after the recent renovations). One major complaint I had was the paper thin walls/floors. I could easily hear my neighbors moving around or talking. Good thing my neighbors were relatively quiet for the most part. Also, I wanted to move one month before my lease expiration and the leasing office would not negotiate. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning. The area around the complex is nice with easy access to all major South Bay freeways, Caltrain, a few walking trails and of course downtown Mountain View. Overall a pleasant experience for a first time renter and after moving cross-country!
I am a new resident and I am very impressed with the apartment, the complex itself (multiple pools, exercise facility, tennis court), and especially the very friendly, very knowledgeable staff, who have worked so hard on my behalf to make the process easier for me. Shout out to Kathleen and Claudia in the office and Toni on the Customer Care line!!!
I have lived here for just under one year and have had a wonderful experience. The on-site managers, especially Sam and Linda, have been so accommodating and helpful. When I had a tree removal in-front of my unit they were very apologetic and upfront with everything..and even gave me a rent cut for that month! The pool was my go-to workout cool down. On a hot day after a long run on the near by Stevens Creek Trail or after a good workout in the newly renovated gym, I would jump in one of the three pools to cool down. One of the pools has a clubhouse with pool table in it which i regularly had people over for a day of hanging out by the pool with some cold beverages. The few times I had to call for maintenance, they were there within 24hrs to take care of the issue.I was very lucky to have super quiet neighbors, some good natural light (in the afternoon when I got home from work), and a corner unit on the first floor! It was definitely a great apartment. This is definitely the ideal place to live if you are looking for a place in Mountain View.I unfortunately have to move to a new location - I was offered a job in a different city. When I went to the leasing office to explain this, they were extremely understanding and have offered to help me rent the apartment for the remainder of our lease.I will soon update this review post-move-out to let you know how my time at Eaves finished off!UPDATE***This is an update from my past review. Linda at the leasing office had my apartment leased for me just as she promised within two days of moving out! This saved me tons of money. I HIGHLY recommend Eaves Creekside to anyone and everyone moving to Mountain View.
Eaves Creekside has been our home for 6 years, and we have loved it. The entire team at Eaves Creekside has been extremely friendly while making sure all our needs are addressed. Steve and Mike in particular have helped us with all sorts of maintenance issues, and have always been prompt, efficient, and willing to help with a smile. The team has done a great job in creating a safe and lively community and making Eaves Creekside a fantastic place to live.
While the apartments themselves are not much to write about the community has been wonderful, the location is great, and the management and maintenance staff have been very helpful. There are a lot of friendly late 20s to early 30s professionals here. Many people have dogs and there is even a dog park on the property. There are multiple swimming pools, a pair of tennis courts, and a BBQ area in addition. Guest parking usually isnt too hard to find.Right by the apartment is the Stevens Creek Trail, which if you work on or near the Google campus is a great benefit. A couple blocks away is downtown Mountain View so bars, liquor stores, and restaurants are a quick walk away. The staff have been very helpful and even opened the leasing office early for me to come in and sign my lease before I had to bee at work. All of my maintenance requests have been answered the same day, and when I was locked out of my apartment one night at 2 A.M. someone was there within 20 minutes to let me in.The apartments themselves are not very special. They are large enough, though fairly old. They are starting to remodel some of them, and I cant speak to those, but the older ones only have two-prong electrical outlets and older appliances (fridge, garbage disposal, dishwasher, oven, and stove). There is asbestos in the walls, but only in the joining tape, so unless you plan on knocking down the walls (which you shouldnt be doing anyway) this shouldnt be a problem. The only big downside to living here is the price, which goes way up for short term leases (however, this seems to be the case for most places around here). All in all I would recommend this place if you have the money and need a dog friendly environment.
Really enjoy living here so far. Staff is very attentive to your needs. I worked with Rueben to get my apartment and hes great. Ive moved here from PA and love how close I am to everything. Of course you can hear your neighbors occasionally, but that is apt living.
Loving it! I just moved here this summer from Shanghai. eaves Creekside is about 8 minutes walking distances to Train Station, farmers market(where we go every Sunday morning), and downtown Mountain View, and my yoga studio; and you get swimming pools, gym, outside grill in the community! Its super convenient, and its also a quiet community. We really like it here, just upgraded from 1 bedroom to 2 bedroom, Linda got us the best deal ever!!! Since we work for start-up company, and all our team members are all moving to this area, were trying to convince them to move in eaves Creekside!
Very friendly and supportive staff. Awesome! It is worth mentioning that Steve is a great worker. I accidentally broke some furnitures and reported to the office, and Steve immediately came to us and quickly fixed them with his very skilled and friendly service.
This apartment is truly great! The only concern is the floor is very thin, so living in downstairs might be a bit unpleasant. We switched to a corner unit upstairs, and everything is perfect! We have a window in the kitchen, which only happens in corner unit. The location is fantastic, close to downtown, Caltrain Station, Farmers Market, and everything! The management and maintenance teams are wonderful! Whenever we submit a service request in our account, or email management team, they will always resolve/respond to it within a couple of hours. And yes they work on Saturdays too. Thats unbelievably fast! We used to live in a terrible apartment that doesnt fulfill maintenance request and barely reply our emails for weeks unless we call them repeated. They also have a team that you can call for issues like noise, parking, security all night long. There are 3 swimming pools, 2 gyms, a basketball court, a tennis court and a volleyball court in the community. And when you move out, they only charge you $120 for cleaning fee, and no extra fee for carpet cleaning or painting the wall. My previous horrible robbery apartment charged $150 for cleaning, $85 for carpet cleaning, $230 for painting the wall. Compared to that, this apartment is angel!!
Perfect place to live for a recent college grad and his dog. Management goes above and beyond, especially Ruben -- thanks for everything Ruben! The community resources are very nice, especially the dog park and the three pools. Combine all of that with the amazing location and you get an awesome place to live.
One of my best friends lives in this apartment complex. I lost my wallet one night that I had visited him, but I didnt know where. I was very upset thinking about having to replace all the cards (including credit cards, driver license and work ID), updating payment info on all the websites etc. One of the residents in this apartment found my wallet and turned it to the leasing office. It had been a rainy few days and my wallet was completely soaked. They laid out everything to dry up and then googled my name from my ID, found my email and informed me that they had my belongings. I picked it up the next day. It saved me a lot of headache not to mention concerns about identity theft.
Office staff is amazing- the new guy, Hassan in the leasing office puts a smile on my face everyday — what a perfect addition to the team!! maintenance takes care of all issues quickly and perfectly- love grilling by the pool with neighbors... and the location is ideal!!! I love it here.
Apartment building has lead paint which has been leading to fatigue. Management was not very clear about where the lead paint was located upon signing the lease.Walls are also very thin- I can hear my housemate having a phone conversation.
The location is perfect for families. It is a safe neighborhood and its just 10 mins walk from downtown. The amenities and extra parking spaces are a plus.
Ive lived hear about a year and a half and Im pretty happy overall. Its a little expensive (what in this area is actually priced reasonably though?) and slightly older, but the apartment itself is relatively nice. I havent had to contact maintenance once. The grounds are well kept and there are pools and a fitness center and other amenities. My primary complaint is that the walls must be slightly thin (I think thats probably par for the course around here though--and theyre not paper thin). All my neighbors are fairly quiet so its not a problem generally and normal conversation is not audible, but theres one guy below me or next to me who must snore like a freight train and I occasionally hear it at night (I use the sound of a box fan to drown him out or my air conditioner (not included) in the summer). The location is fantastic though--short walk to downtown and to the caltrain, plus theres an entrance to the Stevens Creek Trail at the back of the apartment (which is great for taking a bike ride or a run on).Overall, no real regrets moving here.Update: 8/11/18 (2.5 years living here)I had one negative incident where maintenance came into my apartment unannounced and worked on the bathroom fan and left a little dirt in my bathroom but, more importantly, inadvertently let my new kitten (aside: the pet rent is a bit pricey) into an area that was not safe for him! I spoke to the manager and she was apologetic and said shed look into why I wasnt notified. I was frustrated, but I havent had any other negative experiences, so I dont think this is a pattern but it was not positive. My disposal jammed last month and I called maintenance to have it unjammed twice, and on both occasions service came quickly and resolved the problem. They said if it happens again theyll probably replace it, but its been working for a few weeks now.My overall original impression stands though. Its not perfect, but Im generally satisfied.
Eaves at Creekside management and maintenance team is amazing. They are professional, friendly, helpful and prompt in resolving problems. I’m extremely happy with their services and always have a great experience.Amanda and the rest of the management staff is very knowledgeable. They can answer all of your questions and can find a solution if there’s any issue that arises.Felipe, Mike, Julio ( I think that’s his name? not sure?) and the whole maintenance team addresses any concerns quickly. Few months ago when I sent my service request to fix my clogged kitchen sink (garbage disposal not working), maintenance team fixed it right away. Staff also has continuous interest for the well-being of residents. Lately, I was having trouble with the tree planted by previous resident in my patio. I was wondering what to do with it. Luckily, one day when I was walking towards my car in the parking lot, Felipe saw me and asked me if it’s ok to remove the mentioned tree. I guess, they read my mind! I’m soooo happy when I arrived home next day and saw my patio all clean. Thanks so much guys! You’re the best!I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!
I just recently moved in to eaves Creekside. Although I have been here for only 3 weeks, I have to say it is an amazing community. The apartment is well laid out with great lighting and tons of storage. The maintence team does a wonderful job of keeping up the community. Julio has been great and very responsive to my maintenence requests. The office staff has been very welcoming and friendly. Ruben is very down to earth and made the move in process a breeze.
Its been years since I lived in a apartment complex and my experience at eaves Creekside couldnt have been better.Nice facilities, well kept grounds, multiple pool areas, workout facility, etc. On top of this the management staff, Linda, Kathleen and Sam are informed, considerate and a pleasure to deal with.A+++
Had a great experience with management. So helpful and really super nice. Decent apartments with good amenities for the price. Very close to the train, light rail and Castro Street. Linda Okamoto is the best!
After living here for 4 months, I can firmly say that it is a really well run complex. There are certainly pros/cons, but management carries a lot of weight in my mind so that is really what my 5 stars speaks to. The only downsides are that its a bit of an older build with poor insulation and your water is not metered by each apartment so no one is incentivized to use less leading to pretty high bills. The rent is also a bit high (considering how old it is) depending on when you start your lease. If you know this in advance, then expectations are set and youre good to go!On the upsides, the few times that I have needed maintenance, they were very quick about it, and did a solid job. The grounds are also always well maintained. And last but not least, Amanda in the front office is always so helpful, professional and kind, and is incredibly prompt in her responses. You can expect this to be a very pleasant place to live with both families and young professionals thats only a 7 min walk to the train and 10 min walk to lots of food downtown.
This place is fine. Location is great, close to Caltrain and downtown, management is friendly and responsive. The only problem is the soundproof -- the wall is so thin that I can clearly hear people upstairs walking and talking. Unfortunately my upstairs neighbors seem to be short-term tenants (there are people moving in and out every a few weeks), so complaining does not really help.
The location is great! There are enough parking lot for people with two cars. The office staff are very nice and responsive.
The maintenance staff here is super friendly and also the fastest to address issues Ive ever experienced!
Very good apartment, quiet and spacious. New washer/drier and dishwasher. Sam Daoud in the leasing office has been very professional and helpful and assisted me in all my request very fast. Thanks, A++++!
Management is nice, but the other people and neighbors who live in this complex are obnoxious. I was misinformed about rent and utilities and what was included. The walls are paper thin - I could hear my neighbor using the restroom! Overall, I cannot wait to get out of here.**Im editing my review after working with management - as I mentioned originally they have been lovely to work with. Their immediate attention to my complaints went above and beyond what I expected. Apartment living can be difficult, but Id say that they care more about their residents than most places, and Im feeling increasingly positive about the rest of my time here. Thanks!
Steve from maintenance was great! My key broke in my lock and he showed up promptly and fix the problem
Well maintained community and quite helpful leasing team. Found the best apartment matching my requirement closer to Caltrain station
Hassan gave my fiancee and I a great tour of the Creekside grounds and one of the larger apartments, offering a lot of details and insight that really spoke well of the place.
I moved here from Minnesota in May 2012. I had little time to coordinate a move (I work for the government). I had friends out here already, and one of them went to check it out. They said it was ok. I actually had to sign the lease without ever actually seeing the place until I arrived at the property the day I physically moved in.Management from the beginning was very helpful. Every question I had, they answered to the best of their ability. When I put in maintenance requests, they are promptly addressed. The property and community have been absolutely fantastic. Im very happy living here--its a great area.It IS quite expensive. I assume its because of its location and how high demand this particular area is. Also, Santa Clara County DOES NOT have rent controls. Which is both good and bad. Good because it keeps the garbage out, bad because if you dont have the cash, your stay here could be short term.I do very much recommend living here though if you can afford it. You could definitely do a lot worse! The apartments are old, but large enough to not be horribly cramped. I have a 1 bedroom and it suits my needs just fine.
Im currently apartment hunting in Mountain View and Hassan gave me the best tour I could ask for! I was there bright and early at 9:30 and he was ready to help me out. Even though there werent any physical units available, he showed me around the entire apartment complex and answered all the questions I had prepared. The websites virtual tour is just as helpful as a physical one and he ran me through that as well. Make sure to swing by and check it out if you are working in Mountain View or need a convenient Caltrain access!
Overall, its been amazing for the 1 week that weve been here for. Ruben has been helping us through our move in, and is doing an amazing job! Makes sure we are comfortable every time we see him, and makes sure he deals with our requests in a timely manner. Thanks, Ruben!I also want to comment on the excellent services of the maintenance team, especially Christian! There are some concerns that we had about how quickly rents change here (more than other apartments) but thats something we are going to be careful about in the future. The only other major criticism I have is about the construction of the apartment in that we can hear our 1st floor neighbours (we are on the 2nd floor) and I know they can hear us too. The flooring is very wobbly and when we walk - the apartment rambles!
Great customer-service, cleanliness, quality of living, supplies, and all else. Much appreciated.
Quiet and safe neighborhood, and maintenance team is amazing, they respond and actually fix stuff same day!
Just moved into eaves Creekside last night. It’s been an eventful day; but I’ve gotten some amazing help from Steve, one of the onsite maintenance guys at the property.Over the course of the day, he’s given me a tour of the property (as the office was closed), replaced my lock (15 minutes after I requested it), and hooked up Comcast internet into the unit (also within 15 minutes of requesting it), which for some reason the previous tenant had uninstalled.I want to give a big shout out to the management at eaves Creekside, and particularly Steve, for an excellent move-in experience. Without him, this day would have been a lot longer.
Good Location and access to a lot of amenities including bike trails, CalTrain and Downtown Mtn View.
I stayed here for 1 year and loved this apartment. Very good community. Well maintained neat and cleaned apartments. In addition to rent we should pay for pge, garbage and water. These are shared bills for a group of apartments. Balcony is not there for some of the apartments. Pets allowed. A well maintained tennis and basketball courts, swimming pools and fitness center, are there. Barbeques and a beautiful picnic area. Onsite laundry facility. Covered parking and parking area for guests. Package locker system was very helpful. walking distance to downtown. Stevens Creek trail access.
Ruben and Amanda are pretty friendly and being helpful while I was moving in.
Nice and quiet location, the facility is well maintained however, the walls are very thin. I can hear my neighbors in their cottages through the common walls even though I have no one below or above me.
When it comes to finding an excellent apartment in the silicon valley/Stanford area, my No. 1 recommendation is and will always be Eaves Creekside, Mountain View. We as a family lived there, 151 Calderon Avenue, for almost eleven months, and we just love the place. I lived in the United States for, off and on, almost eight years. This is the only place that makes me feel like home.First, the management team is super nice! They treat you like a family. They can remember your name and apartment number. Whenever I went to the front desk for a mail-delivered package, they would get it right away with a smile on the face, without asking the routine question: What is your apartment number? They fix issues in the apartment in a very efficient and professional manner. Just a simple call, they would come to your apartment within a couple of hours and get things done. I once operated the heater incorrectly and the safety switch for the heating was automatically shut off. The technical repair guy came to my apartment and within merely seconds fixed the issue by pushing a red button, the safety switch, on the upper left corner of the heater. They really know things well. The other time the light under the ceiling fan went out, and again within a couple of hours, the issue got fixed and a new light bulb was installed. They could also help you out on things that have nothing to do with them. Once I had the plastic part at the lower front part of my car fall off by hitting a ditch somewhere. I was thinking about taking this issue to a car mechanical shop. I just chatted about this at the front desk. There was a management team member who knew a lot about cars. He was able to put the plastic part back to the original position immediately. Another time I lost an expected mail. They contacted the post office, did the job for me, and got my mail back.We had to terminate the lease one month in advance because of visa issues. We thought we had to fulfill the contract by paying for the remaining period of the time. But we guessed wrong. A couple of weeks after we notified them of our intention to move out of the apartment and get back to our home country, they had already found the next tenant who wished to move in right after our move out date. So we saved one month’s rent. The Eaves Creekside complex has all the facilities you can imagine to exercise your body: swimming pool, gym, tennis court, basketball court, etc.Of course, the second reason is the location. The place is very close to Caltrain station. Do not underestimate the importance of that. Even though we had a car, we often took the Caltrain when sometimes we did not want to drive (for example, going to San Francisco). The place is also very close to downtown Mountain View. That allowed us to taste cuisines from different countries by simply walking to the Castro street: Mediterranean, French, Italian, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, etc. Yes, you can drink beer and wine and walk back home. That is nice! Castro street is part of the reason why we could enjoy our stay in the United States without getting bored. The place is also very close to highways: 237, 85, 101. That can save you a lot of time without having to drive on local roads, especially during rush hours.Overall, I think Eaves Creekside is the No. 1 choice for those working or studying in the silicon valley/Stanford area. I will live here again if I have a chance to move back to this area in the future.
Initially good experience turned sour. Had to amend rating from 5 to 2 stars.
Property is conveniently located to downtown Mountain View and the Mountain View Caltrain Station. Ruben was friendly and helpful and provided a comprehensive tour of the property.
Paper thin wall. Unhelpful management.
Great location, manicured grounds, lots of amenities, and reasonably priced!!!!!
The place is good and the staffs are very helpful.
Mike did a great job. Thank you!
Love the staff - very kind and supportive.
They have 3 pools but none of them are heated
Not only is the maintenance dept very good at their work but they go out of their way to be of assistance. I was struggling moving some heavy furniture and Steve, who was in the area, took time to come over and help. It was something he did not have to do it helped me immensely. Brad
