Im so happy to write this review,Pete came so highly recommended by everyone I speak to in the area I thought I should give him a try with a difficult electrical problem that the BMW dealer told me I need to replace everything in my computer system including my computer with an estimate of over $3k then after meeting Pete and dropping my car off with him for a couple of days he called me and said the car was ready they found some chewed wiring under my hood he charged me $200.These guys are so great please give them a try they are the most experienced and fairest guys in the business!!Thanks again

I am so happy I was referred to Brawley Automotive over a year ago. When im in town visiting family, I make sure before I leave to get my car looked at. Last month, I dropped off my older BMW before I left to travel back to TN and its a good thing I did- Pete and his team found a large oil leak and my rear tire was down to the thread. They fixed my vehicle as if it were their own and made me feel safe to travel. James and Petes dad, Ted were so kind and patient with me while explaining what was wrong and why it had to be fixed. I was referred to brawley because they have a tire lathe but the problem ended up being my front wheel bearings . fast service. My car is so quite now. What a difference!

Pete and James are awesome! My dad and I have been coming to Brawley Tire and Automotive for over 15 years. We have had a used Pontiac, Buick, GMC, Honda, Kia and Nissan over those years. Pete has always come in on or below for each repair. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and quality repair shop.

Had the opportunity to try these guys out on a referral from a number of my work associates in Winston Salem I knew the drive was long but after speaking with the owner regarding my car problem he assured me it wasnt anything major.I was quoted in excess of $1400-$2300 to repair my car at 2 other shops but after driving down and speaking with Pete and his son Ted, who offered me a loaner vehicle (at no charge I might add)they had me back on the road for less than $600 and they also fixed something on my interior door handle which was annoying me for months at no charge.These guys totally rock and so do their mechanics who personally took the time to look at my car while Pete was diagnosing.I also got my car back cleaned and vacuumed.It was well worth the trip Ill be back!!!!

Brawley Tire and Automotive has done most all our Automotive service work for years. We have 5 vehicles and most of them have over 150K miles. These guys keep us running without breaking the bank. They are consistently prompt, honest, and accurate. We are glad they are there when we need them.

I have brought our cars and pickup truck there for maintenance every since. Pete and James have an outstanding crew of mechanics and are fair priced, extremely knowledgeable and honest. In addition, they take great pride in their work and it is evident they enjoy serving the public. I highly recommend them for any type of vehicle maintenance, to include all brands and makes. All of their mechanics are great, but one in particular named Ed sticks in my mind. He is a longtime employee and is a big part of the success of the business.

Stopped in the other day because my car barely started in the morning. It has been acting up like this for the past two weeks. They tested the battery and alternator and said everything is fine. Turned out I had taken a number of very short trips which temporarily drained the battery. They suggested I drive the car on a longer trip and everything will be OK. They were right. No charge for any of that. Good, honest folks at Brawley. I always recommend them.

Just an update: Have to say we are so happy to have Brawley Tire and Automotive just minutes away. They are still looking out for their customers. Pete, James, Ted Sr., Ted, and Nick a very friendly bunch.By the way, they can steer you toward affordable, gently used vehicles ifyou need one. Then make sure they run safely and reliably for you. We have obtained 2 nice vehicles for our teen drivers there. Do try them out.I guess a lot of folks in this area drive new cars and dont have many real car issues to worry about...and dont get me wrong if you have a new car that needs some attention you should take it in to Pete. Theyll fix you right up. They are always courteous and prompt, and will get your car back on the road quickly. My situation has been a little different. I have a 20 year old car that ran pretty well. But theres been times... and Petes guys have kept me rolling; always fair and very honest up front on all the costs. A recent issue with the radiator, that Pete ended up taking care of really made me appreciate their effort. Over the years, Pete has had to order me parts, once telling me I might be able to find one online cheaper...who does that? Of course Ive told people that story when I recommend them. They treat you like youre a friend whether its your first visit or 21st visit. If you have a car that needs a little care, or even more attention than most, please try these guys out. You wont regret it!

I have been going to Brawley Automotive for years and have always had a great experience. Unfortunately the reputation of auto repair places is they are always looking for a way to scare you and sell you more than you need. I have never felt that way about Brawley. Pete and James are great people and I always feel as though I am treated fairly. With all the repairs I have had done, only one time did I have an issue where something was not fixed correctly. I brought it back and they took care of this problem no charge, and apologized for any inconvenience. A business that really gets how to take care of thier customers!

I went to another store that I wont mention to get my vehicle inspected. They came back with a repair list and estimate of $1900, probably more than the truck is worth. I took the vehicle to Pete, Brawley tire and auto for another opinion. He explained that the vehicle was 1998 and the issues noted were normal wear and do not need to be replaced for safety sake. He said it would be a nice job but not necessary unless I was looking to restore the vehicle to new. Its my work truck I use occasionally on the weekends. Not ever going to be a show car. Brawley tire has been a wonderful find. Been going there for > 10 years. We have towed two cars there and it was worth every penny. Had an audi dealer quote $5,000 to replace the computer and all the electronics on a A4 that was just purchased used. Towed it to Brawley repair costs was $1,200. We have 4 cars in the family and they have kept them running and have gone over and above to make sure we spend our repair dollars wisely. They were able to use less expensive compatible VW parts on our audi. They have always stayed within budget and have beaten their initial estimate more times than not. They will let you know the work need to do and the work you should consider. We have kept 4 cars well over 100,000 miles thanks to Brawley Tires he cost effective repairs and well earned trust.

Good place for automotive issues

These people are incompetent and arrogant. Do NOT take your car for an inspection here. All they do is try and make money off you and will fail your car so they can fix it. They failed my inspection for reasons that arent even required for N.C. state inspection.

Brawley Automotive is a rare find in the crowded space of automotive repair, especially in Race City USA where most of the guys around here bleed motor oil. Pete has a full garage of highly skill, certified mechanics who treat your vehicle like its their own. I have never been over sold or felt like my cars didnt need what they were recommending. I try to bring my daughters with me when I come here because in want them to know what its like to experience a trustworthy repair/service shop vs the stealership or other less reliable shops. James is a huge service asset to this team. He will greet you when you walk in and makes you feel like your car is the only thing he has to do that day. I bring my Mercedes AMG E class, my kids Toyota and Nissan vehicles here and Brawley Automotive has delivered each and every time.

I had been dealing with Brawley Automotive a long time before Pete Grekusis bought the business several years ago and added his tire expertise.When the previous owner retired, I remained a customer but didnt really count on getting the same great level of service. To my pleasant surprise, the service remained as good or better and the friendliness—always satisfactory before—even improved a notch or two.Im a life-long car person. When I was younger, I did a lot of my own car work and I expect a service provider to take as much time as necessary to explain what the problem was and what alternatives were considered before a remedy was proposed. At BT&A, I can always depend on that.My wife is not a car person so its especially gratifying to know she will always get the same value I do at BT&A.Before we moved to Mooresville, that wasnt always the case. For five years, one dealer tried to sell her a new water pump. The original was still sound and on her car when we sold it.
