Ive been going to Tuffy for more than a decade, never had a bad experience.Recently, my Nissan Quest had an issue that the dealership said would cost $6,800 to repair, needing a new transmission.So....I took it to Tuffy.$300 later, my van was driving like new and didnt need a new transmission after all.I cant say enough how much l appreciate these honest mechanics. You guys are the best!

We were 3 hours from home when our truck started over heating. They were the first place we could get to. It was one of the hoses. After taking forever to get the part there to fix it!! We paid and thought we would be on our way. BOY was I WRONG.... 65.00 dollars later and still sitting in their parking lot our truck was still over heating. One guy come out for a second and that was it. Needless to say that place is a ripoff and a joke.

Had a very pleasant experience when I went in to get my oil changed. I asked if they could check the tire pressure on one of my tires - it has been problematic as it goes down every 4 - 6 wks to 28 lbs and should be at 38 lbs... I had taken back to where I purchased the tires and they took it off and did all kinds of testing on it and found nothing.... which made no sense this tire just loses air too fast!!! Jason the manager said that they would see if they could find anything .... And they did find a small leak - and he marked it so that I could take it back to the place where I purchased the tires and show them. I had also been in to do an inspection in September and I have to say that I would recommend taking your car in for service to them. They have always been very pleasant and helpful...

They will let you walk back into the shop and walk you through everything on your car.I took a vehicle that I was thinking about purchasing to this shop for an evaluation. The guys put it up on the hoist and they reviewed everything important with me. They treated me respectfully - just like I was one of them.I have always been satisfied with the good service and competitive pricing that I received at Tuffys franchises.

Three strikes and youre out!Tuffys broke the handle and cable while trying to open the hood on my sons car. Since it was stuck, they just ripped the handle off.Spilled oil in my daughters car and tried to blame the people who did the previous oil change. The oil dripping from the engine was after they worked on the car, not before. And it was new oil.Just recently they shorted my car more than a quart where the dip stick wasnt even reading any oil and this was just one day after the oil change. They claimed that the paperwork read 2 L engine, when right on top of the engine, right next to the oil cap in big block numbers it read 2.5L. Its a good thing I checked the oil before driving a long distance.

I was traveling from out of town, when I noticed my car was overheating. I found this place and can only say what a truly unique and wonderful experience this turned out to be. The staff and owner went beyond what was expected and got me back on the road. If I lived here I would use them for all my car needs!

Went in last week for an oil change and realized I had a coupon for another service shop. The gentleman at the counter (I think his name was Kevin) still took me in and got me out quickly and even honored the coupon even though it wasnt theirs. Will definately return here if I need anything done on my car.

Was there yesterday and the employees were great. They answered all questions I had, showed me their diagnostic procedure how they found what was wrong with my car. Just a better experience I have had when I had to go to a mechanic shop.

Kevin was so incredibly helpful and kind! I just bought a used mini that I’m still figuring out. After getting it serviced this afternoon there was still a light on on the dash that I had assumed would automatically go off after being serviced. After seeing me struggling to find out how to reset it, Kevin came out to help me and spent another 45 minutes with me googling and YouTubing what the light meant and how to fix it. After changing 2 of my lightbulbs the light went off and took so much stress away. Thank you again Kevin for all of your help!!

Went in today to have the resonator taken off and replaced with a straight pipe, they have a great welder they work in a timely manner and have reasonable prices I definitely recommend bringing your business to tuffy.

I have been to Tuffys to service my car for more than 6 years and the owner Noah definitely provides the best customer service in town.Just had a wheel bearing replaced under warranty buy Noah didnt even charge me for the labor cost. He told me I have been a great loyal customer and this one was on the house. Wish i could give this place a half a star. Ive taken my vehicle there a couple of years and have never had an issue. Took it in a couple of days ago and failed my inspection for tints ive had on my vehicle for over 6 years and never failed. The laws have not changed and was told who ever inspected my vehicle had done it wrong. So they did it wrong for the last 4 years ive taken my vehicle there. At some point was told that couldnt be the case because this business has not been at this location for more than 2 years...Ok. Ripped my tints off and brought it back to essentially get my tints inspected an my inspection completed. That took literally over an hour. Horrible experience. Will never take my vehicle back there for anything.

I always keep watch of my vehicles while being serviced and did not see my tires getting rotated. I asked the technician when he delivered the vehicle to me if he had rotated the tires and he stated that the rotation was the first thing he did before the oil change. I didnt have time to argue about this matter as I was presses for time. My resolutiion is I will no longer will bring my vehicles to your location. I cant trust that your technician are doing the right thing for me or othrt paying customers.

My experience with Tuffy was bad. I have gone three times, and I will go no more. They first time I needed a part, waited for 2 hours and the part came and was wrong, had to leave and come back next day. The second time they were so busy they refused me for an oil change. The third time they test drove the car, offered a solution, and the car was doing the exact same thing when they gave it back. They charged me for something unrelated and played it off like it was my fault that it was doing the exact same thing it was when I brought it in. I didnt even go back because I didnt want a liar under my hood. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE.

I have been going to Tuffys in Mooresville for the past year, and I had nothing but exceptional service thanks to Chris Reynolds. I had recently been in there and learned that he has been let go from the company. As a woman, its nice to go in a service shop, and rest assured you wont be worked over for your lack of knowledge.We had an instance where service was performed incorrectly by a technician, and Chris personally saw that it was corrected.I sent my boyfriends sister and husband over there because they are new to the area, and the woman working at the front desk did nothing but berate them for bringing their car in under his name, and asking why they did that. We did it because Chris knows them as family, and did it as a reminder, and the woman rudely informed them he was no longer with the company. How unprofessionalWe know Chris from the racing community, as is the biggest source of employment in the area, and we will all be informing each other to take our business else where.

My daughter gave me a Groupon for 3 oil changes for Tuffy Mooresville last fall. They do a thorough job checking out my car. They recommended most important issues without being pushy.
