Ratchets garage was referred to me by a friend that is a mechanic at another shop. I am a carguy and do most of the work on my own cars, but, had an air-conditioner leak and dont have the equipment to do the system evacuation and recharge, and pressure check. I stopped by Ratchets garage, they looked at it, and made an appointment. I brought the car in, they did the repair, refill, test and check as soon as I got there! Im picky with who I let touch my cars and these guys were awesome! The job was done right and the charge for the repair was very reasonable!They work on all types of cars, and it looks like they do alot of older and collector type cars. I would definately use them again, and will refer them to others, theyre an honest shop and thats hard to find these days!

I took my car for a radiator change, I had already purchased the part so he only charged me labor which was very reasonable!! He was very nice and had me out within 2 hours!! If your looking for an honest mechanic that actually knows what he’s doing you’ve found it.He’s the kind that will tell you you don’t need to repair or replace something if it isn’t actually bad.He won’t gouge you when your under a time restraint.We have been going here for years, having three teenagers with older cars they have seen us a lot.Every single time Aaron has treated us like we’re the we’re family.He’s been restoring my husbands 69 GTO, he’s also figured out a way to fix problems on my 87 Grand Wagoneer.We’ve had ours kids cars towed to him and does them right away when they are home from College.

I needed a trustworthy mechanic to put a clutch in my 2000 Ford Explorer with 185,000 miles on it. After researching all the local dealerships, who were rated a stunning 1.5 on a 5 point scale I realized I needed a better choice than that. Aaron at Ratchets Garage had very high (5/5) ratings and after taking my junker by his shop I realized why. He knows far more than your average mechanic because of his extensive background. All my questions were answered about my job and many more unrelated to my clutch that I was curious about. As a pilot and aerospace engineer I knew all his answers were spot on target. Aaron did the work quickly and in a very professional manner for a very reasonable price.
