They don’t act like a car repair shop, they act like family. Like you are dropping your car off at your uncles house who “fixes” cars. Actually I think they communicate better and do better work. Plus they are more willing to drop you off and pick you up. Super honest, super good value, and not your uncle.

Communication was excellent, they kept me in the loop! Very detailed on what was required to resolve the problem. Would definitely recommend them to anyone requiring service. Very professional and efficient.

I was recently shopping around for a new car service shop since I had bad experience with my last one with management change over. I found these guys via google and I am so happy I did! Theyre very professional and straight forward and did not try to push any additional services on me and were very kind in answering my questions about other services. I noticed also that they know their returning customers by name! The atmosphere in the waiting room is very nice - they take precautions for COVID which I greatly appreciate and the room has very comfortable couches/chairs. Although I went in just for an oil change I will be back for other services. Thank you! :)

So nice to find an honest auto repair shop. Im new to the area and brought my car in for an oil change and also asked them to check my brakes which hadnt been done in a long time and to also make sure the car was road worthy before I travelled this weekend. They certainly could have taken advantage of me and told me I needed brakes or other work, but instead they told me my brakes and car were in great condition and only did the oil change. I highly recommend using them.

They helped my son the other day with what he thought was a problem with his brakes. After they investigated, they discovered there was nothing wrong with the brakes and didn’t charge a dime. Christian brothers replaced my timing belt a month or so ago. This week, I heard a rattling inside my engine. Rather than lie and charge me for something made up, they were honest and said it was under their repair warranty from the timing belt. Any automotive place can find ways to charge, charge, charge. But they did not. They covered it. Finally, an honest automotive company! I highly recommend them!

I had travelled to Mooresville from Norfolk VA, for a birthday party. Arrived Thursday evening, and my truck started pouring coolant. Called to have it towed Friday morning, and was going to have it sent to Ford, but they didn’t know when they would get to it. Tow driver called Christian Brothers, and explained the situation. They not only looked at my truck, but replaced the faulty water pump, and fixed another issue, the same day, so I was able to travel back home. Couldn’t ask for a better place!

This place was incredible. Normally when I go into an auto repair place, I feel talked down and unaware of what is happening with my car. Eric made me feel super comfortable and explained everything in a way that made sense to me about what upcoming repairs would need to get done. They got done in a timely manner and kept my mirrors and seat in the same place (something that doesn’t always happen). As a woman who knows nothing about cars, I would highly recommend this place!

Last year we had our nissan give us check engine light after an oil change and after a diagnostic they found out it was mass air intake sensor so they replaced the part and as a courtesy for how long the part took they replaced the rear brakes for free and provided a rental…fast forward 9 months and the same sensor breaks again while getting an oil change at grease monkey (they were not helpful and argumentative over the issue wont be going there again ) so we went to christian brothers and they ran a diagnostic which showed it was the sensor and it was under warranty so we got a rental and the part replaced with no charges…very professional and the nissan runs fine for now…they said the warranty on the replacement probably wont be covered by nissan if this happens again but to come back to their business and they will work something out…will return again

I needed my rotors replaced asap and I found these guys highly recommended online so I decided to give them a try with my Audi. Peter who i spoke to on the phone was so pleasant and professional and was able to get me booked in the very next morning! He also quoted me an honest and very reasonable price. And right before the holidays which was fantastic! Once I arrived I was greeted with a driver ready to shuttle me home, how nice!! My car was fixed much quicker than expected and man what a difference! My car is driving like a dream! I was so impressed with the shop(the bathrooms were so clean!) and staff and the work that I will be bringing my car back for all my automotive needs!

As good as mechanics come. Im making an unplanned trip across the country to attend a funeral; my belt was making a lot of noise and I knew it could probably go at any moment. I didnt have much to spare but I knew it needed to be addressed. They found a price we both agreed on, so I could get where I was going safely with some peace of mind. There really arent words for how grateful I am that they were able to sort it out for me at a very reasonable price, and very swiftly as well. These are seriously good hands to be in. 👍

I went in as a new customer for an oil change appointment. Very friendly, comfortable, clean waiting area, and great customer service...they even brought it to my attention that my car was due for a state emissions inspection and did that while I was there to save me a trip.

Im very impressed with this auto shop! I was buying a used car from a private seller and wanted a pre-purchase inspection - these guys did it for free! They were very fast and professional. They had the car for about an hour and sent text updates. Once they were finished, they texted a link to the full report that had all of the urgent and future issues, plus the things that passed, with pictures and notes to make everything more clear. They even left the key in the ignition in front of the entrance so I technically didnt even have to go back inside to talk to them. I had a few more questions though, and the guy behind the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, a thorough, professional inspection and experience, with no pressure to purchase any additional parts or services and no condescending attitudes. Also, their bathroom is amazing! So clean and fully stocked with everything you could possibly want...soaps, sprays, feminine products, etc. I wish I lived closer to Mooresville so I could come here more often for future auto work. I had a gift certificate for a free oil change. My experience onsite and with all the personnel was great. I was given a large estimate for a needed repair on my vehicle. I took the item to another location I typically go to for service for a second opinion and was told I did not in fact need the recommended service. I would highly recommend getting a second opinion for any additional recommended services, especially the pricey ones.

Got a free evaluation for an oil leak. My car is old and worn out with just over 200K miles, and after checking the leak they told me the engine was also burning up the oil. Instead of recommending me I pay them a grand to fix it, the technician told me my best bet was to switch to a thicker oil for now and invest in a new car. Extremely helpful, professional service. Had my tires replaced and wheels aligned at a different mechanic and then had a constant clicking noise coming from the wheels. After bringing it back twice to the other mechanic they told me they didnt hear anything and there was nothing wrong. Brought it to Christian Brothers to see what they thought, fully expecting to have to replace something in the steering column. These guys found the issue--which was a careless mistake the other mechanic made--showed me a pic of the issue and fixed it all within an hour. Very polite, professional, and communicative. I look forward to doing business with them again.

I am not happy with the the way in which my daughters inspection was handled. I feel as if a simply inspection has now turned into a major expense that had to be performed before they would pass her vehicle for inspection. Went from a $30 to a $1,600 expense because they believe that there is a leak in power steering but can’t show me where. So they recommend that the rack and pinion assembly be replaced.

Always a pleasure to deal with Christian brothers. I like the texting updates and the link that takes you to your estimate so you can review it on the screen instead of just verbally. It also has things color coded so you know what is immediately needed v. can wait but should be done relatively soon. Courtesy ride was great too.

I have nothing but praise for this place. I went in for an inspection and it was done in a timely manner. They asked about other maintenance I needed and got started really quick on the oil and filter change. Though he overestimated the time it took to finish all of this, I’m happy he did than underestimate. Would recommend everyone come here for your maintenance and inspection

I went in there with my car making a noise that I hadnt heard before, dropped it off. They checked it out told me what it was and changed my oil that I asked for when they called me to let me know what was up. The service was fast and price was very reasonable.

Needed an air intake hose for a 1994 Ford Explorer. The dealer said they were unable to find the part but if we located it they would install the part. I had had work done on my Volkswagen at Christian Brothers in Huntersville and Steve found the part for me in one day. Upon returning to the dealer they said the part would not work so Steve was kind enough to call Eric at Christian Brothers in Mooresville and he took the time to fix the part so it would work and charged nothing for all his work. I cant say enough about both Christian Brothers locations. They went above and beyond. Thank you for your knowledge service and integrity. So appreciate all that you did.

I’ve been to so many car shops for my vehicles and have gotten taken advantage of. This place is honest and amazing I honestly can say I will never take my vehicles anywhere else since finding them!

I brought my car in because of problems with the front right suspension (clunking noise when turning sharp left at low speed). At same time I asked for general check-up for other potential issues. They were unable to diagnose the suspension problem, and thought the noise was due to a pair of sunglasses in the overhead storage container by the rearview mirror(!) Additionally, they recommended a number of other maintenance related repairs that I approved, and which they performed satisfactorily.Pros:Excellent communication and professionalism.Nicest waiting room Ive ever seen.Very stream-lined process.Premium services like courtesy van.Cons:Were not able to diagnose / fix the problem I brought my car to them for.Extremely expensive. 20%-30% more than other car repair facilities. Several repairs they provided quotes for I have since taken my car to a different repair place to have the work done - and I am saving hundreds of dollars versus what they quoted.Bottom line, I would have given them four stars had they been able to diagnose/repair the suspension issue. As it is, I feel like a paid a stiff premium for bells and whistles, but the auto skills were sub-par. I will not be returning.EDITTook my car to a different repair shop. They replaced the front right axle (apparently a relatively common issue with Honda 4WD vehicles) and the problem was solved. My call with the owner of the Christian Brothers Automotive was extremely off-putting. He seemed more interested in posting a rebuttal to my review than in actually solving anything. After calling me about my review, I never heard another thing from him, or anyone on his team. If anything, his calling me decreased my opinion of his shop.

Based on a recommendation, I was told this was the best auto repair shop in the area, placed a call to inquiry if services were/ could be done on my car, the person who answered ( Peter) was very helpful provided info etc.. towed car to location, What I was most impressed with was that I was given a detailed breakdown on what needed to be done including pictures & videos.Once work was completed I asked abt complimentary shuttle service and was picked up ontime to get my car... this was my 1st time and would definitely recommend, however there is some misinformation online about payment that needs to be updated. Hence why 4 stars

Had my 2007 Saturn Aura towed into the shop the other day on a reduced engine power light. Eric was very helpful taking all of my information over the phone and was upfront about the pricing for an evaluation. I got a call an hour later saying they had looked into the issues and believed it may be tied to a covered warranty with GM. He took the time to call a nearby GM dealership mechanic to check on the open warranties, and referred me to them since it would potentially be cost free for the dealer to replace. On top of that, they waived all charges from the evaluation since it was being referred to a dealership. I was very impressed by their professionalism and promptness in looking into the issues for my Saturn.
