I was referred to Phelps, having never used them previously. My first experience was a service tech who identified the issue and quickly corrected as well as recommended a further inspection based on the age of the unit. Jason Phelps inspected and recommended a new system that we approved. The installation was a 2 day job and the crew (3- techs) were all very professional, polite, and respectful. Im a picky engineer that does a lot of DIY, so I knew what I needed. After an initial consultation with Jason, I had a good feeling that he knew what was needed. They were on the low end of the price scale so making sure they didnt leave something out was very important to me.On the day of the job, the crew arrived, properly masked and all and proceeded to do a very clean replacement of an AC unit and furnace. The ducting that was originally installed had some serious issues that cut the airflow down and they redid them to provide much better airflow. Then they left the area nice and clean.The job was done quickly, professionally, and looks good (for an AC unit) too!

I had a 20 year old system that was put in by Phelps when I built the house that I wanted to replace before it died. I had 4 different companies come out and give me prices . Phelps was the best price and didnt try to up sell me on to something I didnt really need like all the rest. Install was done in a few hours and everything looks great.

Phelps was very friendly and professional from start to finish. Michael the technician who performed the maintenance on my Hvac unit was courteous and knowledgeable, explaining everything he was doing and why he was doing it. I will definitely continue to use Phelps for all of my heating and cooling needs.

Extremely good, honest, and reliable. I called Phelps Heating and Air Conditioning to do a complete check of my air conditioning after another Company did an extremely poor job and reported an incorrect and dishonest diagnostic to my maintenance warranty company in which was denied. I was completely satisfied with Phelps technicians the one who did the diagnostic and pricing and the second technician who did the repair and installation. They were experienced and professional. The receptionist was very helpful she was also respectful and professional. I would recommend Phelps for your Heating and air conditioning needs.

We had nothing but problems out of our unit (which was not properly installed by the previous company) We decided to get a new and better unit installed by Phelps. We could not be any more pleased with the job their crew did on the installation. They made sure everything was working properly before they left.I wish i had taken some before pictures, because the upstairs/inside unit and work looks amazing and so neatly done! I actually have storage space in my attic now! Thank you Phelps for doing a great install.

My husband and I purchased a new heating and air system from Phelps which was installed last week. We have been customers of Phelps Heating & Air for many years. I just want to say that we are extremely pleased with our new system. We purchased a heat pump as well as a furnace. The installers were very professional and thorough. Great customer service. Our A/C went out and they came out right away. Replaced the capacitor and we were up and running. About 30 minutes later it quit again. I called the next morning and they came out and replaced the fan motor at no charge. Hung around awhile to make sure all was good. The technician was Awesome. Now, we have great working air. We have used Phelps Heating & Air for years; having our systems checked twice a year. Last week they came out for regular maintenance and found my 20 year old system was done. Jason spoke with me about my options, pricing, and answered all of my questions promptly. My new system was installed a few days later, and is perfect. The technicians that came out were very polite and cleaned up very well after themselves; We will be customers for life and appreciate the service we have received from Phelps year after year.

Very good reliable service. Even came out on a weekend to get us back and running!!! Guys took their shoes off when walking inside and were very respectful!! I dont usually give 5 stars but they deserve it!!

Have never had anything but great service from these folks. My mom had problems this week and even though she was not a customer before, I called these guys. After building our new home in 2003 we quickly discovered the HVAC unit installed by another HVAC company was not installed according to specification and efforts to resolve the problem went nowhere. We then received a recommendation to contact Jason Phelps of Phelps Heating and Airs who responded quickly. Before we knew it the unit was up and running without difficulty. Since that time Phelps Heating and Air has been our service provider with Michael and Eddy keeping us warm in winter and cool in summer. They also do yearly preventive maintenance to assure its in good running condition and when required they come when called to make the repair. What we most appreciate is they always call first to let us know they are on the way.Recently after 15 years that same unit needed to be replaced and Jason Phelps recommended it be replaced with a Goodman system. Jason’s install team led by Andy were professional and completed the exchange in one day.We have no hesitation in recommending Phelps Heating and Air. Jason and Jason’s team are professional and efficient and most important to the home owner are reliable for HVAC needs.

I had several companies come out and provide estimates to replace my entire system. Phelps provided the best plan to solve my current cooling challenges without adding on extra work not necessarily needed like other estimates. The price was fair and the service excellent! Install was timely, clean, and most impressive was their follow up after the install! To them, there was a slight humming coming from the new motor that I could barely hear and they took the extra steps to change it out because it didnt meet their standard. Service tech even followed up the next day to double check! That kind of customer service is hard to find! Thank you Phelps for going above and beyond!

From top to bottom these people are polite, curtious, hard working, and most importantly HONEST. Ms. Sheryl in the office has been the most accommodating person to deal with every time you call or go into the office. Jason came out the first time to meet with us and told us what we needed to hear, not what we wanted to hear. We even had several conversations on the phone after our meeting to answer more questions I had. The men who came out to install our unit worked all day till about seven that evening to finish the job. Once again, they were polite hard working and took the time when they were through to sweep and clean up after they had finished the installation. The crew chief went over everything with me and made sure we understood how to operate the thermostat .Alex has been out to do an inspection on the unit and just like everyone else he was a knowledgeable and polite you g man to deal with .I dont think anyone could ask for better people to deal with. I highly recommend Phelps Heating and Air. They have serviced several of my family members homes. The service techs are very knowledgeable and very polite. Phelps is very competitive with their pricing. The old saying You get what you pay for is very true when it comes to this company.

Great service

For 10 years I have had a twice yearly service agreement with Phelps. When the drain line became clogged, they came out but charged $129.00 for the call. I have paid approximately $350.00 for 10 years plus installation of a new unit. What are they servicing on the maintenance calls? I am extremely disappoint in Phelps. Thought they were a good company but seem to be money hungry. Sad

I dont know what the below review is all about except that it does look like the customer was price shopping so Phelps had to ride around waiting.Customer service is absolutely of utmost importance to Phelps! I have used them in my home, my mothers home, & my 2 office buildings for the last 16 years! I value a company who not only is knowledgeable but who has integrity, and professionalism ! The owner is honest, knowledgeable, professional and runs his business with great integrity and hires the same! They are good to explain things to me as well as respecting my property by never coming in dirty and always cleaning up behind themselves. If I have to wait on a part then they are good to keep me informed of the status! In an emergency they will work you in even if it means after hours! They will do their bestto make the temperature of your home comfortable again! Recommend Phelps without reservation!

Called this company on a weekend and was surprised that I got a call back from the technician on call in less than 10 minutes. He came out and had our heat back up and running. Would highly recommend Phelps.

We found ourselves in a bad situation, water damage and mold from a old faulty installed a/c system. Phelps came in, changed their schedule around to expedite my repairs ( we were forced to move during repairs) and did an awesome complete make over of our system. Highly recommend Phelps! Our heat went out and we called another company because they had a cheaper service charge and we are on a budget. The cheaper company tried to sell me a new furnace. We called Phelps for a second opion. All that was wrong was a loose wire for the high voltage. I cant thank Phelps enough for their honesty, this coming from a single mother of 3 kids. Thank you Jason and all of your crew. I learned the hard way, you get what you pay for.

Weve used Phelps on a new construction, repairs on an old unit, and now to replace an old unit - and the service has been high quality, friendly, and professional. We wouldnt have kept using them otherwise. Quality company.

Terrible experience with Phelps and I highly recommend going elsewhere for your services. I scheduled an appointment to get an estimate to obtain a whole new system from Phelps. Appointment was scheduled for 4 pm. Technician called to let me know that he was in the vicinity of my home about 5 minutes prior to scheduled time. He also expressed how annoyed he was that he saw another technician from another company leaving my home. My husband met with him, man spent less then 10 minutes at our home and was extremely unprofessional, irritated that he was there and expressively rude. He also told my husband he had been watching our house for at least an hour. Appointment was on Friday, it is now Thursday and we still do not have a quote. Temperatures have dropped into the 20s at night and apparently to this company going without heat is acceptable. Customer service is a low priority for Phelps.

Terrible service from Craig. They dont come when you have a scheduled appointmentn if you make a request n they agree to it good luck on them making a note n doing what youask.
